I purchased redmi note 4 last year (8th feb 2017) with the insurance of oneassist.

On 4th feb 2018 my phone met a accident and its screen was broke.

I contacted oneassist for claim, they said that my imei is not matching with their records. Then i came to know that in october 2017 my mobile's charging was not working, so i took it to the service center and they replaced the motherboard that's why imei was changed.

So, during the claim process i uploaded that service report also which clearly mentions that old imei is now changed to new imei.

Still oneassist people closed my case stating that my imei is not matching in their records and i should have updated them the imei when my phone's motherbaord was changed. They didn't informed me before that i will have to do that in case of repair. There was no communication from them. Now they are not replying my emails and i am heading towards consumer court this tuesday.https://www.consumercomplaints.in/new_complaint/#

    I received sms from hdfc bank ltd amount deducted from my credit card to one assist plan. Without my permission.. I also got a mail from one assist team. I dont even know the company and this kind o[censored]nsolicited charging of my credit card and use of my card by the company is really a criminal act and the co.

    Please deactivate and refund my money asap

      Was just charged 1899rs from my axis debit card, i don't need require this service and request for immediate cancellation and refund the amount back to my debit card as soon as possible.

      I also called one assist, they not understand my cancellation team but i will explain my low income and then also they are not understand call i just wait forever, this is not the kind of support i expect...

        Hi,
        Please let me know in the attached insurance policy which was issued while i am taking the mobile insurance, about third time non-coverage, Neither In the policy nor i was intimated about this non coverage before taking the insurance.
        I feel dejected and frustrated, if you know in advance per policy that you will not cover for third time why did you collected my damaged handset this time? Not able to answer?
        When will you return the damaged handset, i have to got consumer rights no other option left with for this kind of cheating.
        Serve better to earn customers, even i have referred many of my friends & for my family also i bought, i feel now it is worthless spending and cheated.

            I was just charged 1399rs from my icici credit card, i don't need require this service and request for immediate cancellation and refund the amount back to my credit card as soon as possible.

            I also called one assist, they transfer call to cancellation team but no one picks the call i just wait forever, this is not the kind of support i expect.

              Hi! My request to everyone don't buy any insurance from this company, they really doing false business by fake marketing promise.
              My phone was repickup on 16 jan 2018 and till now it is not delivered to me when i call customer care they always says kindly wait for 48 hrs we will update you soon. But till now i don’t have any udate they always says it is under repairing process. I don’t know to repair a phone how many days they want. Its already passed more than 20 days. Iam very disappointed from one assist service they always telling lie i have recorings of all call and also have records of mail and messages from one assist.                 Deactivate one assist plan
                I received sms and email from kotak mahindra bank that "a transaction of rs.1399 has been done on your kotak credit card no. Xx5727 at oneassist consumer sol on 09-feb-2018".

                I have never requested for their service and have never requested an upgrade as the mail mentioned.
                This has been done without my permission and this kind o[censored]nsolicited charging of my credit card and use of my card by the company is really a criminal act and the co. Should refrain from such acts. Further the bank in question kotak bank should also refrain from sharing customer details with such fraudulent companies. Its really annoying to say the least.

                  I am using hdfc credit card. Without any intimation you have listed unbilled amount of 1399 for one assist mfee.

                  As i do not required it and there is no such communication from your end for auto renewal of one assist mfee or even not intimated.

                  Kindly cancel this plan and request you to revert the amount of rs. 1399 in my next statement.

                    They are coming with such hidden terms and conditions to reject claims​.

                    It's a fraud. Please do not buy their insurance for mobile phones.

                    This company should be shut down by government due to such hidden condition.

                    Company should mentioned such condition before someone buy the product.

                      I did a mistake giving oneassist my number, tught of getting a insurance for my iphone and updated details in the website this had happened in november 2017, oneassist denied to give insurance, the things are good and i was not relaying on anything more, since then every that 3-4 time oneassist agent will contact me and trouble to take insurance i told them hell out of time not to call me, this is happening repeatedly, kindly stop calling again and again, i’m fed up of you people, if this continues ill have to take some serious action,

                          I had got my phone damaged in june and i had filled for the claim.in late june i had gone to ladakh which doesnt have network connection at most places. I had informed to the one assist team that i wont be able to send my phone because of this. Also, i wasn't given the spare phone. Also, on one of the call i was told that i can refile my case later on when i move to city anyway under 1 year. They closed the case on me without having a proper connection and communication that once my claim is closed i cant get my phone repaired.
                          Only recently when i filled for claim, i came to know that i am not eligible for the claim which is very disheartening. I don't understand why wasn't i told and informed that i wont be able to file the case again but told that i can refile it. I feel cheated by the company.

                            Hi,

                            I had purchased an online mobile damage & accident policy for my mobile phone from one assist.

                            Recently my mobile screen got damage from my son.

                            I registered for claim but it got rejected by stating: self negligence. Device claim.

                            Also said that this could be avoided (Means they will teach us to whom to give mobile phone or not) by not giving it to your son.

                            On call with one assist representative i asked on what kind of damage you give claim she said if you are in market and somebody pushes you by chance and phone got dropped in that case claim could be given.

                            But in this case as well they will play with you by stating this could be avoided you should have hold it tightly.

                            When they are selling policy everything can be claimed no matter what kind of damage is, but in actual they are not ready to give claim and come with stupid terms and condition agreement.

                            At end they will say they can't do anything you are abide by terms and conditions which you signed while purchasing.

                            Guys request you not to fall in the trap of one assist. Plz avoid this company.

                              As told and mentioned in the email sent earlier, i received call from icici bank and they just gave the information about one assist plan and i was being told that in 15 days whole plan will be sent to my home adress in the form of a brochure so that i can confirm it. But they automatically activated this plan and deducted rs-1799/- from my saving a/c. Without my permission. I don't need this plan actually. Please deactivate this plan and refund my money asap..

                                On a very fine day i received call from hdfc bank saying services provided by oneassist. I said i am not interested, still premium got deducted. This is one year back. I called the customer care that time and nothing happened. This year it got auto renewed again premium got deducted. Again i called twice the customer care, they said cancellation under process. I want refund simply. This is the most fraud company i have ever seen. My id is sarkar. [protected]@tcs.com. Refund the amount asap.

                                  I took a membership of oneassist 1 year back, didn’t use it during this period. So didn’t want to renew that but suddenly yesterday i got a message from oneassist that my membership has been renewed on my request. I don’t even remember when the hell i made a request. The most annoying thing is they deducted money from my credit card without my permission, no one bothered to contact me before deducting money from my card. And when i tried to contact customer care, i had to struggle really hard. The customer care executive (Shubham vyas) was not at all interested in listening to me. And he was forcefully asking me to take the membership. He was constantly asking me to give a valid reason for why i want to discontinue, according to him i don’t have a valid reason and he will not raise a cancellation request until i give a “valid reason“, like i am a criminal and i am doing a crime if i am not willing to continue this service, i had to argue with him for atleast 1 hour to get a cancellation request submitted. And the worst part is, in the end he said “sir although i am making a cancellation request but your money has been deducted, now what can you do if we don’t return your money?”. I was shocked to hear that. This company is total fraud, creating mental harassment to customers. When i googled up a little about this company i shocked to see infinite number of complaints regarding this company.

                                  Please refund my money asap, or i won’t hesitate filing a case with consumer court.

                                      Ma sachin mishra. Maine ek mobile ka insurance buy kiya tha one assits se. Jab claim lene ki bari aayi aur phone pick kar liya. Mera claim ber amount approved kiya jo ki phone ki half value tha. To maine mail kiya ki mujhe mera phone repair ho k chahiye na ki aapka paisa. Market me iska istimate repair cost 7290 hai than aapka service center 10k se jyada ka istimate kaise bta k phone ko ber amt approved kar sakta hai.
                                      At last one assits ne mera phone bapas to kiya jo ki ab dead phone hai.
                                      Kuch bhi kaam nhi kar raha hai.

                                        I got this service offered from a authorised apple istore on 5th feb 2018 for my iphone 10 which was cost 105720.00/-
                                        On the same day it self i realised that this company is cheating consumers in the name of good service.
                                        I paid 6699.00 for the one one assist plan
                                        By 6th feb 2018 i was sure about cancelling my plan so i need te refund as soon as posible.
                                        On the website of one assits it’s clearly maintained that you will be refunded the full amount if you cancel it within 30 days of the purchase.
