I recently booked a hotel through OYO with booking id FX486697. I paid total amount for my stay in advance before my check-in via the OYO app. But when I reached the hotel the property manager denied me check-in. He told me that your booking is not valid as you need to pay extra amount apart from the total amount that I have already paid via the app. I tried calling the OYO customer care regarding the same and tried to shift to some other property but since it was a weekend, I could not shift. So I could not help myself but to pay extra Rs.2693 to get checked-in. I was so frustrated and my whole journey was spoiled due to this unnecessary chaos and paid the extra amount. Then I contacted OYO again and got confirmation from them via email ( I have proofs with me ) that extra amount will be refunded to me within 7-14 days from my checkout date on submitting valid bill proof. At the time of check out a took a bill from them for the extra paid amount and on the same day i.e., 30th June, I submitted all valid bills and requested for a refund by replying to the earlier mail which was sent as confirmation from OYO guest experience manager. I gave them all the proofs that were needed. They also confirmed from the property and then asked for my bank details to transfer the money. After that I received a mail that I will received my refund in next 7-14 days. But even after 14 days I got no update, then I again contacted them and I was shocked after hearing that my refund was never initiated. I then requested him to initiate the refund. He put my call on hold and never returned back even after I waited in call for 35 mins. From then onwards, no one in customer care picks up the call, if anyone picks it then puts in on hold and then cuts the call. I am seriously pissed at OYO. OYO is the most useless company I have availed service from and I regret it every single day. I've never experienced such a pathetic service ever. Shame and don't ever boast about your services OYO. I will never use your service neither will recommend anyone. One hell of an experience to forget for sure. I have all the proofs of communication with me and will not hesitate to surface them all online via Twitter or any social platform or that where my voice can be heard by others experiencing the same traumatic service from your useless OYO.

    His is regarding booking ID PI8L1225 done on Wednesday, 6th July 2022 which was fully paid for. It is to be noted that the date for which the booking was done was from 9th to 11th of July, 2022. Accordingly, I made calls from my registered number to the hotel regarding the status of the same. On the 6th of July, the hotel staff informed me that the booking status is not visible to them as of now and therefore, I called them once again on the 8th of July, 2022 when they all together refused to honour my booking stating that they had no rooms available for the said dates. I am sure those calls are recorded and you may look at the same for reference.
    I faced losses as my trip was dependent on my lodging.

    Thus, I had no option but to cancel the booking. It has been five days yet the money has not been refunded back to me.

    For resolution, Oyo rooms at the very least must refund the money at the earliest and issue an apology while providing the next booking free.

      On 9th July 2022, I booked an OYO hotel and paid online. My booking ID is DHT47679. But when I reached the hotel (Collection O 87564 Mgr Inn Puducherry) they said we don't have rooms free and also informed to OYO also. They told me to check other hotel, I refused to allow inside also, I was standing at road, Roaming every where to check in, I tried connecting with OYO customer care team [protected] they said this is not a service team and gave different number to contact [protected], while talking they told me hold for few mins, after 2 to 3sec disconnecting my phones, all I do have recording with me, but there was no way to talk to the OYO executive. I paid 1488rs - I never ever seen such a worst services.

      3 days ago i got call from OYO and told me that to do Refund process, and they ask me to submit the receipt where stayed on the particular day, and i submitted next day, but still i didn't received any kind of reply till now.

        I booked a Oyo with booking I'd KQF94398, at check-in time property owner ask me extra 1000 rs, then I contact Oyo support executive and he said that paid 1000 rs and send me the invoice will initiate refund, I did same, it was month over but still it was not credited into my source account, when I call Oyo exicutive for my refund status they directly hang my call at middle of conversation after waiting 30 min on hold, it was a bad experience with Oyo properties and Oyo exicutives

          I booked and paid online for the stay at OYO 86467 Hotel Balaji but was denied check in saying that they no longer accept payment via OYO as online booking is cheaper and isn't profitable to them. They denied giving the room even though I had paid at the time of booking only and no such thing was mentioned then. The manager instead of being helping, talked inappropriately with us and even when we made him talk with the customer care for getting a room as it was available, he completely denied and talked inappropriately with them as well even after knowing that it was a non refundable booking of amount ₹377. I thereby request you to kindly refund me my amount as there was no fault of mine in between the misunderstanding of Hotel and OYO.

            I had booked an oyo for the 1st of july 2022 for 735, Booking id: SURQ4994. When we arrived at the place early we were charged a total of 1300, when the policy says for early checkin you will have to pay 30% of the original price, which would cost a total of 956, I would have readily paid even 1000 but they were being stubborn and rude about it and also charged us this much, did not like the experience at all, it was horrible to pay that much as this has happen another time too, they just tell, we arent partners with oyo, so we would charge this much only, but the hotels are still there on the app, I hope this problem gets resolved

              On 27 May, I booked an OYO hotel via OYO app and paid online. My booking ID is ZFWS1751. But when I reached the hotel they said we don't operate with OYO anymore. I tried connecting with OYO but there was no way to talk to the OYO executive. I had to pay hotel for stay. I was getting messages on OYO chat service that I should complain after 48 hours of checkout. I tried doing it and even mailed it to OYO but didn't get any response from them.

                Booked 2 rooms for 4 people in OYO Amar Raj Palace. After reaching at the property they denied stay saying amount is low we can't give room for that amount also that booking was created by OYO staff over oyo helpline after denied entry at first hotel, they assured this time saying it won't happen again I'll book for you but same. After reaching and asking to cancel and refund my money they said it will be refunded in 7-14 days and sent email for resolution but I didn't get any refund till now.

                  I have a booking in this Oyo on 10th July. After booking this room i have paid the total amount Rs. 648. But before check in Oyo suddenly send me a mail and there was pending amount show Rs. 364. I have contacted the Oyo, but no response from them. In the check in time, in the hotel, they said that there was pending of Rs. 364 . Then i again contacted with Oyo but nobody resolve the issue and they said I have to pay the amount. They said I have to paid the amount otherwise they didn't provide any room. They wrongly charged me rs. 364 in the check in time. This is totally fraud from Oyo. I am very unfortunate and have been harassed.

                    I had booked two Oyo townhouse room in Oyo townhouse 801 The Circle for 6 guests. I was promised by the agent that I'll get secured parking, in house restaurant and extra beds in the rooms. When I reached there in the evening I found out that there is no parking available in hotel, there was no in house restaurant and hotel staff denied any extra beds and asked us to pay more for that.
                    Then I called the customer care again and the agent said that I should cancel this booking and rebook somewhere else and I'll get refund in 72 hours (I have the call recording). But I still haven't got any notification regarding that or any refund. I have repeatedly tried to contact the customer care but no one is responding, it says "we are getting many calls" and then the call hangs up itself. I need a resolution as soon as possible or I'll be filing a legal complaint against Oyo attaching the audio recording and screenshots.

                        I had booked a room in OYO property Booking ID RNE75560 dated, July 10th 2022 in OYO 22421 Indiraj. Due to some medical emergency I had booked the hotel. But as soon as I reached hotel they denied the booking saying they can't allow in that price which they earlier agreed upon.
                        I tried to contact OYO customer service, but they kept me waiting till 3PM and later no help from them. Customer service discharged their duties saying Property Manager is not receiving call. Even on OYO portel the hotel number was wrong, because of that customer can't even confirm from hotel too.
                        Worst service ever by OYO. Would lodge a complaint in Consumer court too for misleading customers by fake prices which later their partner hotels deny.

                          I booked hotel room and paid to yo but at hotel denied entry and charged 500 extra which OYO mailed me to pay and while exit they charged 200 extra so when I take to yo support they promised to pay back 700 but now they are not responding and its been more than 15 days.

                            Hello,
                            I had made reservation on 25 June at Oyo through their customer care team, my reservation number is : GEHR6053. Without checking the room availability Oyo booked the room. I made a complaint on 25 June and on 26 June Oyo customer care team raised a complaint regarding it and assure me of full refund and asked me to wait for 7-10 days and then on 11 July Oyo send me message that they denied to refund the money . I need my money please try to solve my complaint

                                    the owner of the hotel said, he has no connection with oyo, he simply drove out us, and my holidays ruined.

                                      This is pavan i had booked a room on 5th June 2022 with booking ID W4B34108, with hotel OYO townhouse
                                      251 RICHMOND CIRCLE, Oyo showed me offer that if I pay online instead of hotel i will get refund of 270 rupees so i did the payment, after payment it started showing to pay 270 to hotel while checking in, after checking in we realised hotel was not up to the mark, it had very dirty bedsheets and dirty washroom, full uncomfortable bed, so we decided to check as early as 5pm on 5th June itself, but in OYO app it's showing we checked out on 6th June at 12 pm, so i want refund of my full amount for showing misleading offers and not keeping minimum standards for hotels, and laying to customers

                                        I was supposed to be given refund of INR 1330.36 on May 25 as agreed by the customer care representative over a recorded call. However, I still haven't the received the money till date (July 11). Despite countless emails and social media escalations, I am just being told that the refund has been initiated and to wait. They are not even providing the transaction reference number. This is completely unacceptable. I have tagged Ritesh Agarwal, their CEO, however it's like screaming in front of a deaf audience.

                                        I just know one thing: I am not going to sit quiet till I get my money back. If needed, I will take legal actions.
