Hello,

I bought a wifi 3g pod, (which is a 3g datacard) last month (1st of july 2016) for a cost of around rs.1800.
It was working fine for 10 days, but since 10th of july there were intermediate problems and on contacting customer care i was told, there is 4g migration happening and it will be fixed in a day. this continued for the complete month of july and beginning of august.
However since 14th august the 3g datacard stopped working.
On contacting the customer care, they said 3g service is stopped and i need to exchange the 3g sim with a 4g sim and also buy a new data card device to support the 4g sim..

I have the following questions:
- first place why you sold me reliance 3g datacard, if 4g upgradation is already in progress? what is this called!
- why you did not inform the service would be migrated to 4g in a month and this 3g device will not work when i bought.
- was there any mention when i bought the 3g device, that it would work only for a month!?
- if you sold a service to me a month back and now say it is migrating, isn't it your responsibility to replace my device as well!

What i lost:
- my 3g dongle! - what should i do with this dongle which is only a month old and which wont work anymore?
- even when 3g was working i did not get continuous connection in the name of migration! - so why my rental will still be the same as a continuous connection?
- there is a purpose for which i bought this dongle; as 3g is not working - the purpose could not be met.

    Hi,

    I was using rel net connect, as they go for closing cdma they have requested me to take gsm sim and mentioned same pack will be continued. My pack is 10gb with high speed and rest unlimited.

    Yesterday i have received the bill and they have charged saying 2gb my limit and extra i have to pay.

    Now i am not even able to call cc.

    I requested them to close the my account.

    Same issue with me. No notice and info's and I didn't pay the bill amount and they disconnected the service, that also without any sort of notice. Now its better to change to some other service providers since Reliance is just useless just like their customer service people. Its pathetic service from Reliance.

      This is too much now. Kindly send me Portability number. You people are so annoying . You have promised me, Sir we are providing you calls local and STD for 3 Months @ 30 p/s, You promised me twice by calling and this time i have texts from your side, That your complaint will be resolved with in 6 days, This text i got on 17 Aug 2016, I got call from you on 17 Aug only, But didn't resolve so far and you people are not even providing the Portability . What this BS is ?
      I am very old customer of Reliance this is so annoying.Kindly resolve it or send me the Portability code.

        I was using reliance netconnect+ but cancelled it on 5th may2016 (i have the email from reliance confirming that my account was deactivated). i paid the last pending bill as well.

        On 9th may, i got a 'demand notice cum intimation letter' on behalf on reliance. recently i got the below email on behalf on reliance. going by the various threads here, i think it falls under the same scam faced by many. however, i would like to add that the reliance number and relationship number mentioned in the email are not mine and i do not have any payment reminder from reliance for this amount, which i usually used to get if there was a pending payment.

        Can you please look into this matter and try to resolve this. for a company like reliance, its shameful to even let this go on for so long.

        I hope this will be resolved and i'll not receive any such emails in the future.

          I have raised a complaint recently here regarding sending bill for time period were service was not provided.

          One person called me from reliance and I explained him all the details and he said he will check and get back regarding that.

          Nobody replied on the issue till now.
          AND without even informing me via any means (ie, sms or mail or call etc) they disconnected the service saying I have not paid bill. If we call the customer support no one picks call and it gets disconnected after making us wait for 25-30min.
          Someone else from billing desk always call me asking to pay bill as well.

          Is there no one to regulate these stuffs? Whats the use posting it here if no one responds and take actions? Should we go to consumer court?

          Reliance customer service is THE WORST service to have. Those who plan to take reliance please go for Airtel or some other vendors.
          DON'T TAKE RELIANCE. We are already cheated by them and we don't wan't anyone else to get cheated the same way.

            Dear sir, my reliance number is +91 [protected], i have main balance rs 127.044 but in evening i see it is left only rs 122.044. I sent an email but there is no reply for email. I want my balance back since i've not called any body from my main balance.
            Kindly solve my problem as early as possible. This is so bad. This behavior is unacceptable for any body. I'm not expecting this at least from reliance.

              Hi i am sanjay kyada, my reliance data card number is [protected],
              I have purchased new reliance pro 3 in jan-16, in may 16 they convert pro 3 in 4g on that time period about 45 days i did not got service and they charged me full bill, i pay full bill of of that period i complaint for discount but they did not gave me discount, now after start 4g service they communicate that we provide 4g plan in same as before in pro 3 that is 799 (7gb on data-7gb off data) plus 10gb additional data free, noe without information they change plan in 700 (3gb), and they charged me 2495, as per the websitr account information i did not cross the limit but they charged.

                From last so many days broadband is not working and we have not received any solution till date.
                There is no engineer visit also done by you people…

                If this is the situation in city like ahmedabad that what service u would be giving in upcountry locations? It is really shame on company like reliance who them self says biggest company of india. From last 55 days broadband is not working.

                  I purchased rs.1900 for datacard... Recharged for rs.3000 to get 45gb data.. Currently we are having around 25gb data... What will happen to it...

                    I was having data card with number [protected] (unlimited plan with 40gb-chennai) for the last few months. on 08.8.2016 i was activated online the 4g wi-pod myself by switching the wi-pod since the other 3g dongle was not responding and i did not informed by any means by the reliance communications neither by email or even by sms about its activation of 4g, but, in few days it was not working.
                    I thought that there was network problem. after a great struggle i got the customer care and complained about the same and forcefully i got my complaint number as[protected] on 16.8.16 about non-information about the non-working.in turn they informed me that i had exhausted and the bill amount higher so the reliance communication had withhold the service some days earlier.
                    How can it be that when a customer having (unlimited plan with 40gb-chennai) jumping into some other plan even without intimating the same to the concerned by any means of communication.
                    Now i have got an bill amount more than rs.4000/ which i can not pay to you since the whole issue is yours and you are only responsible the bill amount and the 4g usage is only from 08.8.16.
                    Kindly look into the matter and settle it at the earliest.

                      Reliance cheats customers. I would like to inform you that i am entitled for 1 gb of 3g data every month.
                      Your billing cycle is 27th of every month till 26th of next month.

                      I have used only 598 mbs out of 1gb allotted to me for the period 27th july till 10th august 2016.

                      You have reduced the internet speed from 3g to 6 kpbs which is wrong.

                      This is being done every month. Email sent on 10th august but till date neither problem resolved nor any one has replied to my 5 emails. Useless organisation. I am taking up the matter with trai as well as mr. Anil ambani. Its better to port out of reliance and go to a better operator

                        My reliance data card number is [protected]. iam using cdma service last 6 month with plan 40gb rupees 999 ans it is a postpaid number. but is not working good average usage per month is 5gb and i complaint most of time no response from support team end and i went to nearest showroom to cancel the data card but they said please wait 4g has been launched shortly yo get high speed because gsm service will be provide with same existing plan so iam waiting for 4g. while iam waiting for 4g upgrade i got good news from reliance buy a 4g sim free and also wifipod with discount amount and i register device and i got information for 4g launching there is 10 gb data free and i saw in a benifit column why for upgrading 4g? and the answer shows no plan change and use same existing plan that info i got through rcom website. so iam intersted to upgrade to go with 4g because of same existing plan and 10 gb free data. i got sim and device first and i waited for 4g launch and i got the message from reliance to start 4g service. that is the only message i got. no other message i received. iam using 12 gb data and service is stopped and i called customer support many times[protected] call cut automatically. and finally i go to nearest showroom they said plan was changed to 700 3 gb that was shocking news and you exceed credit limit.. iam really disappointment and next day i got billed for 3840.63 another shocking incident... i think plan is in 40gb 999 and launching 10 gb free. iam a poor back ground earn 15k only how will i pay this large amount i shared data usage with my friends and pay bill by shareing amount.. i have all proof attached below how i got foolish. they totally brain wash and iam blocked. now they said to pay the bill. now they changed the detail that 10gb free and use as same existing plan while upgrading 4g. what a brilliant move that is the only proof i didn't have. i have 10gb free data message and bill. all people tell 10gb free and same existing plan is the good proof i thought

                          I was informed through sms that the new 4g dongle can be purchased for 899. When i try to buy cc said you have to get 4g and then only you can get in the discounted price. The sim reached me only after a month after constant follow up. At this time cc said that the dongle is increased to 1599 and said to me that they will ask the conserned department to contact me as i have brought the 3g dongle 3 months back. After reapeated call to cc they was not response and my broadband got disconnected 2 weeks back. When i ask cc they are saying its now 2699. For the past 3 months i would have call cc customercare repeatedly. For the past 2 weeks they are disconnecting the calls. Even after mail to appellate office there is no response. There are many issues but right now this is the main issue as i am unable to use internet for the past 2 weeks completely and for the past 3 month on and off. Please do the needful.

                            I brought a cdma wi-fi data card [protected] from reliance for rs.1500 with 40gb 999/- plan on 17 march 2016 and no issues till may, and in starting of june i got message from reliance that i need to purchase a 4g wi-fi dongle for rs. 850/- to continue the service hence they stoping their cdma service and upgrading to 4g and from here my problem started.

                            I called the customer care to check the details hence i purchased a new data card for 1500 and with in 2 month why should i pay again rs. 850/- for new data card. I asked them to provide a 4g data card for free of cost hence i toke the connection just 2 months before.

                            But they not accepted and forced me to buy a new 4g data card or else i can't continue the service after july.

                            I asked c. Care about what will happen to my rs.999/- 40gb plan once 4g upgraded, they confirmed me as there will not be any change in plan till i request them to change the data plan by me own for my convenience. Then i accepted to buy a new 4g data card and i ordered and got new 4g sim and dongle in june end.

                            From 15 july problem started on connectivity and my old data card stopped working. When checked with c. Care they informed as cdma server has been shutdown and 4g upgradation started and it's in progress so we need to wait for two days till it get complete. Like this it went till 20 july, when ever call c. Care i need to wait 30 mintues to get line and they will inform as it will get resolve in 2 days, when i asked c. Care that why should i pay bill for the days which data card not working they informed as this days will be reduced in next month bill but it not happend and i got bill rs. 1138/- for full month now.

                            After that from 20 july evening again old cdma card started working with lot of connectivity issues. Connection will not be stable even for 5 minutes and when checked with c. Care about this intermediate connectivity issue they will tell that it will be resolve once 4g upgraded full but there is no eta for when the upgradation going to complete. I called c. Care atleast 50 times from 15 july to 6 aug and i will get the answer as with in 2 day it will complete.

                            Finally i got a message from reliance on 06 aug that 4g upgradation has been completed to my number and i can start using the service with new 4g dongle.

                            But even after started using 4g service still intermediate connectivity issue as not resolved, again i started calling c. Care for this and got reply as they fixing the issues 4g hence it started newly and this get resolve in 2 days and again the same story continues.

                            Then again when called c. Care on 16 aug to get update on connectivity issue again get the same reply as issue will resolve in 2 days, i lost my control and shouted on c. Care person and asked to give wavier for last month bill hence my data card is not working from last 15 july. Then the c. Care person accepted to give wavier to my current month bill since it not possible for previous month.

                            From 17 aug again my 4g data card stopped connecting in 4g speed and will connect only in 2g speed even that won't work properly same connectivity issue continues, i thought it because of 4g upgradation issue and wait till 19aug.

                            When i checked again with c. Care on this they informing me now as data plan changed to 3gb 799 plan and exceeded my 3g quote that's why i unable to connect to 4g speed. I asked that how can u changed the plan without my confirmation and any informing, they replayed that they have intimated by mail, but i have not received anything intimation about the change in plan.

                            When i told them that i got confirmation from your c. Care people that there won't be any change in plan, but they simply replying as there is no 40gb plan in 4g and it can't be provided as of now.


                            Here my question's are :


                            1) why you sold me a cdma data card which can't be use more then 3 months, by this i lost rs.1500/- for spending in it.

                            2) why you changed the data plan without my confirmation and force now to use it, i have used 40gb plan and now it's 3gb, how will be sufficient for me.

                            3) why you given fake commitment that 40gb rs.999/- plan will be carry forward in 4g service and forced me to buy new 4g dongle and cheating now, by this i lost rs.850/- for spending in it.

                            4) you committed as you will not bill for data card not working days in july month bill, but it not excluded.


                            What is my expection from reliance :


                            Give me the same 40gb rs.999/- plan in 4g service as you committed before.
                            And give wavier for july month bill.

                            Or

                            Get your both cdma & 4g data cards and refund the amount rs.2350/- and close my data connection with immediate effect and give wave off on my current bill hence your data card not even worked properly a day from 15 july 2016.

                              Im not sure i want to continue service with reliance. My reliance data card number is [protected].
                              Im using reliance net connect for past 3 years. But on upgrading to 4g i dont feel like i want to continue the service. The 4g bill for last month is 3100. On what basis you people are allocating 3gb plan for a number and when was it notified to us. When i called customer care regarding the bill amount they are saying that i have been intimated about the 3gb plan and since you used 2gb extra you have been charged that amount.
                              You people would have notified us that we have exceeded the data by an sms or atlease mail otherwise. But you didnt notify us. Earlier we used to get notification for the data limit in cdma services. You people would have notified in mail too. I was shocked to see the bill message. Even it was really shocking to see the total data includes only 3gb. This was notified when i checked the customer care as i didnt get coverage properly and i was mentioned that the 3 gb limit was exceeded so you are getting slow speed. You people are really cheating. Without usage you people made us to pay bill last month. This month for using 4gb data we used to pay 3 months bill amount in total and thus promote reliance jio unlimited data free all over tamil nadu. Whenever we call for customer care for termination please call us at morning 8 clock or otherwise system is down. You people have these 2 reasons in hand always.

                              Thanks for all your service. Im disconnecting and i dont want to pay your bill anyways. Thus i didnt get any call or mail regarding my 3 complaints which i made earlier.

I have deactivated the netconnect number [protected] on 18th june 2016 and confirmed the deactivation by calling the customer care (call recording available). One month after deactivation, i got a bill for the same number. The customer care people will disconnect the line when we call & billing section will call us daily for paying the bill generated after deactivation. The real cheating fraud company.

After porting to reliance this jalsa 397 pack was activated in sept 2015 but i have been observing that the basic monthly rental was change to 497 without intimating me. I was not given any prior notice for the change in plan. This basic amount was changed from april may of this year which i noticed yesterday as i saw all the postpaid bills for this year.

                                I want to bring it to your notice that you take care this extra amount charged and fix up this monthly rental again 397 or else i am not going to pay the bill anymore.
                                Take back the bill amount that you charged on your will as i was neither informed nor i wanted this jalsa 497 pack.

                                  My cdma data card no is [protected]. Recently reliance has asked all consumer to migrate to 4g in existing plan. My existing plan was advance three months rental plan where 5gb data can be downloaded at higher speed and above 5gb data can be downloded at lesser speed without paying extra. After migrating to 4g reliance is stating that that previous plan has been stopped and existing 4g plan has to be adopted which is not at par with my previous plan. Since i am not satisfied with their plan i requested the customer care to take back the 4g modem (Which has not been used at all) and refund my money (Rs 1600/-). They have expressed their inability to do so. They are also not refunding my excess money (Rs 1124/-) with them from my previous bill. When i told them to discontinue their services during consumer chat they abruptly disconnected the chat. Kindly help me to get my modem money and excess amount as i don't want to use their services any more due to breach of their statement before migrating to 4g.                                     Data card (Wipod) was deactivated two weeks ago. We cant use internet, you are responsible for this.

                                    I am old user, wrong plan activated.

                                    I got the assurance from mail, customer care that there wont be any change in data plan, rental and benefits.


                                    Telecom act :

                                    • the service providers must inform the customer in writing, within a week of activation of service, the complete details
                                    Of his tariff plan.in addition, as and when there are any changes in any aspect/item of tariff in the chosen package, the
                                    Operator shall intimate, in writing, such changes to those subscribers whose tariff packages undergo a change.

                                    • a tariff plan once offered by a service provider shall be available to a subscriber for a minimum period of 6 months from the date of his enrolment into that tariff plan. During this 6 months period, the service provider is free to reduce the tariff;
                                    But increase in any item of tariff in the plan is not permitted. However, the subscriber is free to choose any other
                                    Tariff plan even during the 6 months period.
                                    • customer has the right to move from one tariff to another plan offered by his service provider any time without having
                                    To pay any fee for the migration. A subscriber's request for a change of tariff plan shall be accepted and implemented
                                    Immediately or from the start of the next billing cycle.

                                    Wrong plan activated.

                                    Its really bogus and malafide working.

                                    I am not liable to pay this.

                                    So right plan should be activated and datacard.

                                      With effect from Jul. 17th, Reliance communications has stopped CDMA telephone service at Mysore. Still in the latest bill rental is charged upto Aug. 14th. When complained about this now the online complaint status tracking is stopped and asking to visit their circle office for correcting the bill. Call centre and helplines not accepting this as a complaint
