I recharged my Reliance number ([protected]) with MBBP101 (6GB 2G data for 28 days @ Rs.101) 8-10 days back (don't remember exact date). Unfortunately, on 20.02.2012, Internet suddenly stopped working. After several attempts, when I checked the available balance, h found it to be Re.0.04 only. Now, being 2G, the average speed is barely 15kbps maximum. Even if I keep my keep using Internet 24 hours a day, I won't consume more than 2 GB in 8-10 days. As per my usage pattern, I have NOT CONSUMED more than 100-150 MB out of the available 6GB quota. I dropped a mail to Reliance ([protected]@relianceada.com) regarding the same but I had no reply from them.
Being helpless, I had to rechage the number again with MBBP14 (250 MB 2G data for 3 days @ Rs.14) on same day. Again after about 2 hours o[censored]sage, Internet stopped working. Again I found the balance to be Re.0.04. I again dropped a mail to Reliance and again no reply.
I again recharged the number on same day, this time with Rs.255 (1GB 3G data for 30 days). First thing, I DID NOT get 3G speeds, despite my SIM is 3G activated. The dialer software confirms this. The speed was again lowly max 15 kbps. Secondly, Internet stopped working again. I checked the balance again found it to be zero.
Last month also, Reliance had activated some VAS on my number without my knowledge and deducted Rs.30 from my balance. I dropped a mail to Reliance that time. I got a mail from Reliance saying "Sorry for inconvenience. Your balance will be refunded". I never got that balance back.
Some noteworty points - I use the SIM for Internet only and never for calling, Secondly, I use the SIM in a 3G data-card and not on phone. And there are no VAS activated on number as my knowledge. If Reliance has again activated some VAS without my knowledge, I am aware of it.
During the past 1 month, I have not made even a single call from my Reliance number. You can have call records from Reliance for confirmation. I have proof of all the payments with me, in case you need them.
Kindly look in to the matter and penalize Reliance as applicabe under Law in addition to arranging crediting balance back into my account.
