Dear Samsung,
It’s very disappointing to receive such a kind of pathetic services from a brand like Samsung. I along with my family are using many Samsung products like phone, TV, Refrigerator, Oven, AC, washing machine etc. But from today onwards I will not use any of your products & tell my friends & family to boycott Samsung products because I am not here to only pay my hard earned money and get harassed by some bunch of ill mannered people.
Now I would like to draw your attention towards a recently purchased washing machine by my mother in law(Mrs Satyawati Rawat).She visited Kay Dee Electronics(a unit of Kay Dee Audiovisions Pvt Ltd) to purchase a washing machine. She selected model no WA75H4010HP and paid Rs 25500(receipt attached) and asked the store manager to deliver a fresh piece. Now a few things to note down before going further.

After the machine gets delivered, my mother in law checked that it was not properly packed with required safety measures like thermocol from all sides. Anyways she accepted the machine.
After overlooking the machine she found that there is only one kind of water inlet instead of 2(for hot & cold water). She required 2 water inlets for different kinds of washing & expected this because she bought one of the costliest machine in this segment. She also found that the machine was manufactured in September 2014(Image attached)
Anyways we accept our mistake as we have not done enough research before buying the machine.
But for your surprise dear Samsung, when she visited back to that store in next 15-20 minutes for not telling her about this feature, the store manager replied “Ma’am you didn’t asked us about this feature, so we also didn’t bothered to tell you”
The pain story doesn’t end here. Accidently she saw that the display machine for the model no WA75H4010HP which she saw at the store was missing. She asked the store manager “where is that display model”…………………..Now to everybody’s surprise, there was a strange reply from the store manager, he said “Ma’am, that was a defected piece, we sold it to some other person”
Now you notice dear Samsung, He is accepting that it was a display & defected piece and he sold it to some other guy. And I can’t digest that within 15 minutes he sold 2 machines of the same model. There can be only 2 things, either he fooled us or fooled some other guy.
After getting fooled by the Samsung Store Manager, my mother in law sadly came back home. Now when she did a deep inspection of the machine, she found some more troubling things like.
1 – The drum of the machine is too much tilted.
2 – There is thick line of prominent dirt in the drum, which we can still easily see on the words written on drum”NEW TUBE”. This thing clearly states that it was a display machine.
Now she again visited the store and got the reply from the store manager that he sent the new piece and he will neither replace it nor he will refund our money.
So I along with her visited the store this Sunday 20/12/2015 and met the store manager. He tried to overcome us by saying that “you guys don’t know anything about washing machines”. I requested him to either replace the machine or return back our money, to which he refused. I asked him to give me this thing in writing being a store manager, to which he arrogantly refused & said “do whatever you can do, I am not going to replace or return back money”
We also asked him to show the CCTV footage of that particular time when he sold that display (defected) machine to some guy, to this he said that we don’t have any CCTV camera in our store, this thing is again cannot be digested that a Samsung store is not having a CCTV camera.
In the meanwhile we had regular chats with the customer care executives wherein they arranged 2-3 technician visits (Complaint No – [protected]). Now interestingly find below the comments of different technicians.
1st technician told my mother in law that there is a problem with the drum and he can’t do anything to get it right. He also admitted that it’s a display machine after seeing the dirt inside it.
Strangely the 2nd technician said that there is no problem with the drum, but he coincidently also admitted that it’s a display machine by seeing it and suggested “not to buy the display machines.”
And during my conversation with a customer care executive yesterday, she said that the display machines are not meant to be sold as generally they are defected ones.
My mother in law also told customer care executives to contact me for further communications. To which they tried to reach me only once and at that time I was busy speaking to Samsung customer care executives only. And I didn't received any call after that.
Finally the customer care team informed my mother in law that they won’t be able to do anything good to her.
So the situation is that my mother in law who is approx 60 years old is getting mentally harassed by the store managers, some technicians & your customer care team.
In this troubled situation, I request to you dear Samsung to take some appropriate actions.
1 –Firstly I want to get my machine replaced with a new piece.
2- And if you can’t replace the machine, kindly return our hard money back and take away your machine.
3 – I want you to take some strict actions towards stores like KAY DEE ELECTRONICS and also towards that arrogant and manner less store manager Mr Rahul Sharma.
I will expect & appreciate a prompt & customer friendly action from a brand like Samsung.
I would also request Samsung to connect with me for all future communications.
