I Mr.Bibekananda Das ,had make acomplain about my brivia lcd 32'' TV.the complein No is-8670292.So company send a engineer to visit me and the engineer see my tv and not open neither repair,he told your tvs mother board is reject,so we call you with. motherboard,and ask me the visiting charge Rs.100/- and not agree to given me a recept of Rs.100/-,after that since five days nobody call me.or visite to repair my TV.so do the necessary actoin .

    Dear Team

    I bought a Sony VAIO Laptom ( Model NO. - VPCEA42EG ) in March 2011 from Nehru Place Delhi. I was trying to make Recovery Disk but there was some error so it was not done.

    I went to service customer care 308, osian building, behind Paras Cinema, 12 Nehruplace , New Delhi. Meet Mr. Padam but he could not help me out and talk to me rudly, ispite of my word that my Laptop is in warranty period i could not get any help from service centre and i was said i have to pay Rs. 500 for making Recovery Disk and i have to leave my laptop for at least 4 days in service centre.

    I want to know that if my laptope is in warranty period and it takes only 2 hours to make Recovery Disk , why i have been harassed... is it the way of service of Sony if it is how long the brand value will be in the market for the product.

    Plz help else i would go to consumer court for my complain.

      I had purchased a SONY SD-HC 4 GB Memory Card from the Market. My Camera Canon Power A 530 did not recognise Memory Card and error message came " Memory Card Error".
      I thought there may be a problem with my Camera or Camera May not be able to support this Memory Card.
      I tried to read this Memory Card on my computer through and extension devise ( Card Reader USB Connection"
      Here also it stated " error I/O Error.
      I submitted Online complaint on the Sony website. After submission of the complaint, I hoped that some one will call up. After waiting for 4 Days, when there was No response, I went to Service Center of SONY on 30.10.2011.
      They kept the Card and asked me to come back after 4-5 Days. After 5 days, I again checked up. I was told to come later. I was informed on Phone on 09.11.2011 that I can come and collect.
      I went after 45 Minutes of Wait ( Time taken by them to search where the item is lying) I checked the Card on my Camera. Same Memory Card error sign came. The service Center Man inserted that Card in his SONY Camera and It gave remaining memory Picture number. Hoping that it is My camera Compatibility Problem, I came Back. I again Tried to read the card through the Card Reader on my Computer. Again it stated I/O Error. On the same reader my other 256MB Memory Card is reading. I tried to reach Sony Call Center. They stated Again I have to visit SONY Service Center only and they Can not help.
      I feel that SONY SDHC Card may be compatible oNLY with SONY Camera's and can not be Used any where else.
      I wish to bring this information to the Knowledge of all concerned.

        I had paid for and replaced my laptop harddrive with at a Sony centre 3 months back and now it has crashed again. When I returned the laptop to the service centre to replace the hard drive they informed me that the harddrive was not covered under any warranty and told me to contact the customer care service for replacement.But they tacking too much time. I have paid around Rs 6000 for a product that lasted just three months and now Im being told that I will have to pay separately to replace it again. This is ridiculous since if I had purchased the harddrive separately from western digital outlets instead of the sony service centre then It would have come with 3 year warranty. So please see to it that the hard drive is replaced without any addition cost. I have attached the bill of the previous hard drive that they replaced 3 months back.
        It seems that the harddrive being sold by the sony center here at bhubaneswar are soon to be defunct products and void of warranty.

        I want response from sony service.
        I Got the mail from Sony, they agree to replace the HD drive.
        i got the mail from sony that will replace the HDD and for this i have to contact the service centre with copy of this mail as reference. i did that 8 days before but i am not getting proper response from sony service centre.it almost more than 20 day's, i submitted my laptop to sony service(detail mention above.)
        I BUY A LAPTOP AT SAHID NAGAR, BHUBANESWAR, ODISHA, BEFORE 2 MONTHS BUT NOW THIS IS VERRY PROBLEM COMING PLEASE CHECK AND REPLACE ASAP.

          This is to explain my grievances against the Sony Ericsson for the repair (under warranty) of the handset purchased. The statement of the problem is described as given below:

          I had purchased Sony Ericson Xperia Mini Pro on 15.03.2011 and its details are as below:

          Purchase date: 15.03.2011
          Purchase price: Rs14,063=00
          Make: Sony Ericsson
          Model: Xperia Mini Pro, X10
          Warranty Status: Yes

          When I started using handset I found a software bug in it that it use to auto dial randomly any of the number stored in the last dialed list. After 3 and a half months I experienced that the battery back-up got reduced and it does not last for more than 6-7 hours once it is fully charged. I gave my handset to Sony Ericsson service center CCOM telecommunications at Thane on 9-9-2011.

          The center told to return the mobile in 10 days time. But till date as on 07.11.2011, I had not received it. My handset is with the Sony Ericsson service center in Thane for the last 60 days and still they had not repaired it. Since last 7 weeks I am calling the center and customer care and they promising to return after repair in 3-4 days but that does not happen and even they do not explain the exact rectification of the problem. I am fed-up with their answers. Service center informed that they have to replace one IC in the handset and which is why it is taking time. I even called up Sony Ericsson support center twice but no action taken by them for repair. The current status of the repair on their website shows it under repair.
          The dates of my few calls and emails from customer care or service center after I aggressively followed them after their irresponsible behavior are as given below:
          1. Phone call at service center on last week of Sept, 2011.
          Response - The handset is under repair and will take 7-10 days for return. Handset problem not stated.
          2. Phone call at customer care helpline phone number in last week of Sept, 2011:
          Response - same as above.
          3. Phone call at service center in second week of Oct, 2011:
          Response - they have to replace one IC in the handset and which is why it is taking time.
          When asked about the IC name and its function and the reason for such long time, they could not able to explain.
          4.Phone call at customer care helpline phone number on 21st Oct, 2011
          Response - The handset is sent to their Chennai center and assured that it will be given back in 7-10 days.
          5. Phone call at service center on 24-Oct, 2011
          Response - The handset is repaired and will be available in their office any day. Asked me to contact in 2-3 days.
          6. Phone call at service center on 25-Oct, 2011
          Response - The handset will be definitively delivered after repair 28th morning.
          7. Phone call at service center on 28-Oct, 2011
          Response - The handset is not checked by our team and will be given on 29th afternoon.
          8. Phone call at service center on 29-Oct, 2011
          Response - The handset is under verification by our team and they will call me once it is ready, but positively it will be delivered today.
          The same day I called at 6:00 pm told them that I will be coming to office to collect the handset
          - Response - The handset is till under verification and asked to call in another 15-20min. Again he assured that it will be delivered today. But when i called after 1/2 an hour the shop was closed.
          9. I wrote a mail at Sony Ericsson customer care a mail Id - [protected]@sonyericssonmail.com and questions.[protected]@support.sonyericsson.com on 30th Oct stating the problem and informed that if my grievances and problem is not solved in 2-3 days I will go to consumer forum and lodge a complain for it.
          Response - No positive response and regretted for the inconvenience. They gave a ticket reference number for the complain[protected] and 91603932.
          10. I mailed them again on 1st Nov, 2011, expressing my grievances and warning them that if they do not give any action, I will go to consumer court.
          Response - No reply
          I sent a reminder mail to them again on 3rd, Nov, 2011.
          Response - Apologize for the delay and they will take seven days to resolve the issue.
          11. Phone call at customer care helpline phone number on 4-Nov, 2011
          Response - The team is working on it and the issue will be resolved in 7 - 10 days.

          Consequences : Since I cannot afford to buy a further new handset, I am using my eight years old handset which does not have any advanced multimedia features, internet and call conferencing facility.. My job involves lot of interaction with my colleagues and vendors on phone, call-conferencing and email. As my handset is stuck up with the service center for so many days I am having lot of inconvenience in my job and personal life. Many times my office work got delayed or hampered because of not having any access to internet or contact details while travelling or not in my office. This whole issue is giving a lot of mental pressure to me along with waste of time and money for calling them.

          I am loosing my patience and temper on this and have no words to explain my grievances to you.

          Compensation:-I could understand by the experience so far with their customer care and service center that there is some serious technical manufacturing defect in the handset and that is why it is taking a long time for them to resolve.
          As a compensation I want that my handset should be replaced by a new set and Sony Ericsson should take a proper action against the service center and work seriously on their customer service front so that no other customer like me go through the same mental agony I had been with.

          Looking forward for getting justice to a customer who had suffered due to the faulty set and being harassed by Sony Ericsson people on daily basis.

          Sony Ericsson/ Xperia mini pro — Fault mobile

          Hi,

          I purchased this mobile six months back from Mobile Store, Powai. From first month itself I started facing battery charging issues. Battery draining very quickly.

          Problem getting worst, I showed it to one of service center initially they updated the software and returned my mobile same day.

          Condition becoming worst I submitted it back to service center on 7 july 2011. They said that socket is
          loose/broken causing battery charging issue and took it as tampered case.

          Weeks after not getting any response I inquired and service center said its motherboard and cannot be repaired.

          From then itself I am still waiting to get my mobile back. I am calling service center daily
          and they say they will get back.

          Its frustrating that even they are not repairing my mobile and not even giving my own mobile back.
          I have mobile purchased 6 months now and it seems they have that for most of the time.
          Even I am not sure why motherboard or socket issue which is taken as tempared case.

          Please help

          • Its softwire not install in my computer

              REPAIR TIME 21 DAYS TAKEN INSTEAD OF I5 DAYS AND SAME PROBLEM AFTER A MONTH ITS 45 DAYS NOW THE CELL PHONE HAS NOT COME BACK YET.

              My self Ankush Dhiman purchased sony ericsson phone on 21 Dec, 2010 model name -vivaz U5i,the cell was given to sony service centre for the problem it was hanged permanently in camera mode problem of circuit board identified ,circuit board was replaced was replaced the cell phone came after 23 days whereas time for repair given was 15 days thats ok ,now after repair for first time the same problem came within 20-27 days of first repair the same problem of circuit board has come again the cell was submitted to service centre on 21 sep,2011 and till date it is not back ,now since the cell is under warranty i am getting repair free of cost for the problem that arised two times but once it is out of warranty the repair cost for change of circuit booard is Rs[protected].since the problem has arrived two times under warranty & for the second time problem the cell phone has not come back due to unavailability of some spare part ,kindly arrange a same new cell phone or provide me with the extended warranty for the same problem of one more year,since the problem has occured two times in warranty because i am afraid what will happen once it is out of warranty.Looking forward for help from your side.complain has already been launched from sony ericsson customer service number to their higher authorities but yet no satisfactory action has been taken.please help.

                  Subj:- About my LCD Complaint.
                  Dear Sir,
                  My name is vaibhav jain ,I have purchase 32’inch sony LCD TV form Ezone Electronic TI mall.indore on this date[protected]. Model no. KLV-32BX300 IN5, serial no. 2394706.
                  LCD TV Is In sarni Dist – betul M.P
                  I have some problem facing in my LCD Tv .Tv is automatically switch off in 15-20 minute, when we switch on the TV. Regarding this problem I have call customer care & lock problem .The problem lock no. 7954026 on date[protected] under warranty period.
                  After 10 days one engineer is come from Bhopal to our home he told me to change some part of LCD TV & committee to me I change this part within 8 days. After 15 days i call customer care than he is give me Bhopal services centre no. But he told me to that engineer is fried form sony company .then again I call customer care & he saying your problem is solve in within 8 days. But engineer is not come in 15 days Regarding this problem. Then again I call customer care & he saying your problem is solve in within 8 days. After 8 days one engineer come from Bhopal to home & saying this LCD TV is good for this small homes ,saying same things “he told me to change some part of LCD TV & committee to me I change this part within 8 days” After 15 days I again call customer care. Then he again saying our problem is solve in within 8-to-10 days. But from Bhopal services centre know one come from Bhopal. I call within every 2-3 days to Bhopal services centre, first thing is not received call & a second thing is when he receives call than he saying we attend your problem within 2-3 days. I again again…… call to customer care & he saying we attend your problem within 2-3 days. The customer care & from Bhopal services centre give me excuse for distance , but from Sarni to Bhopal is 180km long but sir sarni to Bhopal 3 to 4 buses daily & train is also daily. I call within every 2 day to customer care & he saying me to your problem solve in 2 days 3days & saying me to I transfer your call to technical support executive & he is saying to me I set your problem to most purity but sir response from there.
                  So sir please solve my Regarding problem

                    I bought this laptop about two months ago since the first day im having troubles with it as the fan makes huge noices and the usb ports/card reader misbehave's. just yesterday my dvd-drive stoped working unexpectedly iv search alot about this laptop and came to know that the fan problem is prity normal in even international s-series models i cant tolerate it anymore i really have big faith in brand sony. kindly change this laptop to a flawless one or refund me my money.

                      I am Surender Pal Singh from Mumbai.

                      I bought a sony E series laptop on 4th Nov 2010.
                      Warranty Card serial number[protected]

                      I want to extend my warranty but no one is able to help me.

                      I called at toll free number [protected] and they gave me the number of a service center in Bandra.
                      GF SAGAR FORTUNE WATERFIELD ROAD, BANDRA W

                      These people told me that they don't have it and asked me to check on below number in Santacruz.
                      [protected]

                      The lady there told that they don't give warranty there and asked me to check on below number in Lower Parel. I told her that its too far away from my home in Andheri W but she insisted that I wouldn't get warranty anywhere else in Mumbai.
                      [protected]

                      The guy at this Lower Parel center told me that there is no stock available of warranty and we anyone wouldnt be able to provide you with that.

                      From last 4-5 days I am wandering here and there to get the extended warranty, but now i have no choice but to go in consumer court.

                      Looking forward to get the issue resolved asap.

                          I bought a Sony Vaio laptop CS17g somewhere in Nov 2008.
                          The product did show the following complaints:

                          Over heating of the laptop
                          Extreme fan noise
                          Blue screen appearing with loads of restart cycles.
                          Windows XP not supporting many drivers - at that time there was no support from Vaio for the cause.


                          Now they have provided support for the above problems but only to an extend of 2 yrs from the date of purchase. When the product was launched in 2008 then how can a 2 year warranty cover it.

                          Please help me and guide me through the entire process, i am so fed up with the support that i am planning to file a consumer law suit for the manipulations they have done.

                            with regrets for the poor performance of the company and tears for being looted i feel sorry to state that such a big company is all assurance no work
                            well i bought a sony Bravia on dt 22-oct 2011 model KLV40nx520 installed on 23 oct 2011 well the diplay was out on thurs 27 oct 2011 .
                            the complaint was sent at the help line and they assured to sent the service the next day --which never came -the next day on sat we called the dealer who filed the complaint and formally we had a call on sunday evening monday turned up again to be fruit less again we called the help line getting assurance of service( from one Mr suniel, and the call was recorded too ), the very day or the next day now tuesday is over and no one has turned up .well i can now understand the poor condition of company that must be running from one corner to the other fixing complaints. well if this be the condition of a multinational company then our domestic companies are better and ready to stand by the call
                            I have sent a complaint via customer helpline at companys' site
                            what a Wonderful diwali scheme to give head ache to customers!
                            from this forum i want to state straight to sony either repay my money or give me other product in television if the standard of Bravia is so low
                            I think this goes straightaway to the Heads of Sony

                              I purchased soni bravia ex520 on26 oct.I was told, set would be installed by 28th.I made repeated calls to dealer and was continuously assured the job will be done.But it wasnt.It is already seven days since purchase but none has turned up till today from the company for installing the TV set . I e-mailed complaint no. 8615571 to sony customer care center, but again to no effect. I only received a computer generated acknowledgement of my complaint .When i was looking for a TV set i was told by Samsung people that if i purchase a sony tv i will repent because of poor service .It is turning to be true.                                 I had purchased Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V from Sangeetha mobiles Mantri Square on 23/10/2011.On 24/10/2011 the mobile was not working,I got my mobile serviced from Sony ericsson service center bangalore.But still the mobile is not perfect,same problem exists.Today 31/10/2011 i got the phone to sony ericsson service center in bangalore, but they didnt able to clear the problem,they only update the phone software,which is not the problem.If I ask for replacemant of the mobile,they are not responding.What should I do.Please help me in this regard.

                                  I have a sony music system purchased from Jajpur in 2007.There was a problem with CD reader of the music system .
                                  I had visited local sony dealers at Bhawanipatna from whom I got toll free number of the Sony Service centre but while talking to these service centre people I got to know that this music system is no longer coming under their service request hence they provided me the contact number of nearest service centre at Sambalpur.
                                  Fortunately I got a call from their representative Mr. Babu-[protected] and he also visited my residence to check out the problem but failed to repair as there was problem with the part of the syatem.
                                  I also requested him to take the music system with him and also he agreed that upon repairing he will again send it back to with in 3-4 days.

                                  I have been following up with him since last 1 and half month but usual reply is coming that part is not available and it will take time get it repaired.As per him as this music system is bocome reduntant, parts are not easily available.

                                  Request you to look into the same at earliest.

                                  Complaint-Why toll free service centres are not accepting complaint for all products of their company .Is it my mistake that I have purchased a product of sony which is no longer accepted in market and company stopped manufacturing and parts are not easliy available.And also suggesting them to manufacture/market only those products for which they provide service.

                                  If parts are not available then why company had manufactured such product for marketing.As a consumer why should I suffer for the same.

                                  What is the guarantee that we will go for other product of sony which also not become obsolete in future and consumers will not suffer for service issue as iam suffering for this obsolete product.

                                  Its very painfull to see such a big company with poor standard of service.Shameless service.

                                  Also request you to send me the mail ID of the service head of Sony india to whom I can write with.

                                    I have purchased a sony handicam Model HDR-CX130E from Regal Electronics 20 Kalimati road Sakchi Jamshedpur on 24/10/2011 vide invoice No.2090 . I was told that tomarow some one will come to your home and show the demo . I waited upto 30/10/2011 but nobody came then I started readig Operating guide supplied along with the set. I found that it is written in guide set is supplied with battery pack NP-FV 50 whereas it is supplied with battery pack NP-FV 30. It is also written in Operating guide that we recommend that do not use battery pack NP-FV30. I contacted to dealer he told me set is supplied with battery pack NP-FV30.

                                      We had sent above mentioned five complaints for the same matter, but not
                                      yet anybody come to check our LCD TV 22" EX 300 Model from Ashwani
                                      Agencies. The problem is switched off when its running times. Two time
                                      comes here Engineer and change the some parts but the problem remaining.
                                      now i dont want to repair this product i need the replacement of the same.
                                      After this we complaint but nobody comes here to give the service. If you
                                      give me your service before 1st November (last date) otherwise we will
                                      complaints in its consumer goods.

                                      I know SONY is very well reputed company in the world that i choose SONY
                                      products, but unfortunately we facing this kind of sevice not expected
                                      from Sony Group.

                                      There is problem with HARD WARE I have contacted with customer care he said me that hard ware problem is there.i already went to sony service center but they didn't tell the correct problem, they told me that OS&RECOVERY problem. they have solved my problem but again i faced the same problem with my PC. so i have called to TOLL FREE number he adviced me that there is problem with hardware and he told me that give a complaint.so please kindly check my problem and please solve the problem as soon as possible.

                                        I purchased SONY KLV-32EX400 LCD TV from E-Zone-Subramnaya Nagar-Bangalore on 09.01.2011. Invoice No:[protected]. During July 2011 one my friend ( photographer) told me this TV can be used as a monitor for my PC. On his advice I connected SONY TV to my pc. After selecting PC mode from TV menu - I was not getting any signal. I registered a complaint on 17.8.2011 -No:7976724. On 20.8.11 received a call from one Mr Tarun ( who shows very keen interest in all calls - but nothing works out) and assured immediate action. Till 22.8.11 no body attend the complaint. I went to E-Zone and enquired but for my astonishment the lady booking the complaints that my complaint is attended and it is cancelled. Again registered a new complaint No: 8004755. On 34.8.2011 one technician by name Raju visited and said the PC signal and resolution is bad !!!!!!!!!. He left saying that he will bring his LapTop and connect. Next day he came with laptop and started guiding him from my office "how to set screen resolution". The problem did not solve. Next on 3.9.2011 TV Circuit board was replaced. Now since 24.10.11 TV is lying idle with no power input working. POWER SUPPLY FAILURE. Since three days I am waiting for them. BETTER THROW THIS "SONY" OUT FROM INDIAN MARKET.
