I'm Biswanath & i have purchased one Sony Bravia LCD on 30.09.2011 whose Model No. is KLV - 32BX320 IN5 & Serial No. is 7038321. But from 14.10.2011 one horizontal
very thin red line appears at the top of the screen. We call our dealer to check the problem. He said contact to Sony service center. I had complained to your service center via lodge no. 8444389. They send a service man & after checking he said that it 's Panel Board got a problem. Then he suggest that total Panel Board along with LCD screen have to be replace. Again we call our dealer to change the whole set. But he denied.
Then what is meant for a dealer? He has no responsibility. Only I, the buyer ( Sufferer) will contact the Manufacturer. What a business policy? This is only possible because we are living in a Third World Country. There are no strong law to protect us from being cheated.
A main part of the set required a change within 15 Days!!!!!!!
It's Shocking to us !
As an user, think what is our mental situation.
Then what is the difference between Sony & the rest of It's competitor???
I'm just asking you is that meant SONY Bravia to us?
What about it's Brand Value?
What are your Quality Control Department doing?
They release a defective piece set in the market not even checking it.

      i am naresh i had a new phone of sony ericsson of model "C510" in that phone there is some error in camera because after taking a picture it shows as it background is "GREEN DOTED SPOTS" so check my complaint

        my cell phone has been giving troubles,like it hanged permanently,keypad problems etc.
        each time i submitted it, i got a very bad feedback because the cell phone wasn't repaired properly.or there was fault in that cell
        again this time it started giving troubles,but now i don't want it to be repaired for a short period of time,i just want that cell to be replaced as the permanent solution to this problem.so kindly try to understand my problem and change that cell otherwise i am ready to accept money back.
        also i think that the cell have some inbuilt problems,that's why it doesn't gets fully well,after repair as well.
        so please replace my cell or otherwise i will file a case against your company.
        and this not a threat but truely the thing i 'll do if i got a bad feedback from you.
        sony ericsson is worst service provider

          Dear Sir/Madam,
          My self Ankush Dhiman purchased sony ericsson phone on 21 Dec, 2010 model name -vivaz U5i,the cell was given to sony service centre for the problem it was hanged permanently in camera mode problem of circuit board identified ,circuit board was replaced was replaced the cell phone came after 23 days whereas time for repair given was 15 days thats ok ,now after repair for first time the same problem came within 20-27 days of first repair the same problem of circuit board has come again the cell was submitted to service centre on 21 sep,2011 and till date it is not back ,now since the cell is under warranty i am getting repair free of cost for the problem that arised two times but once it is out of warranty the repair cost for change of circuit booard is Rs[protected].since the problem has arrived two times under warranty & for the second time problem the cell phone has not come back due to unavailability of some spare part ,kindly arrange a same new cell phone or provide me with the extended warranty for the same problem of one more year,since the problem has occured two times in warranty because i am afraid what will happen once it is out of warranty.Looking forward for help from your side.

            This is my second complaint for same SONY Bravia KLV 22BX00.
            During warranty period, it has started giving below mention problem, SONY has repaired the television and again it is giving problem.
            I asked them to change my new television but have not changed it and repaired it.
            Now sony is asking to pay for service.Compalaint No. 8381462
            I Know it is faulty television they should replace it with new TV.

            I have given complaint on 07/10/10 ,my complaint no is 6076735.
            We have purchased sony Bravia in March 2010 and it is showing Black Vertical line in the centre and without pressing remote button it automatically get switched on and off.

            We don’t want to repair this new Sony TV. We want replacement of this TV with new TV.

            I request them to change TV as early as possible.
            but they are not responding not picking the phone. I called them in thier head office also but they are not taking it seriously.

            KIndly help me.

              In the year 2009, I bought one LCD Model No. KLV-26S400A which immediately started giving me trouble. It has been taking time to getting switched on. Finally I made a complaint on[protected] vide complaint No. 8164886 and got no response. Thereafter again I made a complaint on[protected] vide complaint No. 8206695.

              After six days of my complaint the LCD has lifted by some uneducated man and thereafter I received a message over phone that some board needs to be replaced for which I have to pay Rs.7228/- and on[protected], after 3 weeks of my complaint, a man visited to my home and collected advance cheque for Rs.7228/-against profoma invoice.

              As on today[protected] I am really surprised even after taking the advance repair charges of Rs.7228/- just for a minor complaint SONY has already taken one month and my LCD has not been delivered me back.

              I do not know whom I should approach. Or should I go for FIR against SONY.
              i agree with you its happning same with me i have KLV-40NX500, i just bought it 3 months before, on 10th oct due to lightning my TV got switch off automaticly i logged a complaint on 12 oct with complaint number 83377721 and waited for their replay for 2 days then i again gave them a call on 14th and informed them about the same the representative their told me u will get a call back very soon and got their call the next day on 15th in the morning 11.30 and told me that they will be coming in the afternoon.

              I waited till 6.30 in the evening but no one turned up, so i gave them a call on the same number i received a call in the afternoon . The lady on the call told me that they have received my complaint just in the morning on 15 and as it was saturday their office will get closed so they will be sending the tech. on monday, i explaind the situation to her and told her that u guys gave me a call in the morning that you will send some one in the afternoon and its evening but no one turned up yet, then that lady gave a number of tech. who was going to visit me, i called that guy to ask when will he be coming at my place .

              Tech. informed me that he does not have my complaint, so i again call their service center and informed them about the same, then that lady gave my complain over the telephone and the TECH. vited my place at 8 in the evening he opened my TV and told me that their is some issue with board and it needs to be replaced and said we need to order it andit will take 3 more days for the board to arrive and asked me just to keep follow up for the same from monday . I called those guys on monday 17th oct and the lady told me that they need to take the TV to their servicing center to replace the board, today its 18th but no on turned up yet to take the TV

              I am really surprised to see such a brand name giveing such a type of customer service, SONY is really a third class company

                i am buying sony mobile w395 on diwali but the mobile is very slow to access when i am opening the mobile the display comes after 10 seconds...

                and while playing mp3 player its getting hang being awalk man set iwas disoppoinment after seeing this ihave put my 1month full salary to buy this what can i do for this this please give me the correct answer for this.
                I purchased sony ericsson F305 on23 Aug 2009 with IMEI no [protected] at a cost of 6514/-. I thought F305 is very good handset but i'm really dissoppinted by F305. When i play song's it get's hanged in the middle and also it get's stucked sudenly. I purchased the cell in One Mobile which is situated in Brand Fctory, Abids, Hyderabad-500001

                  I had registered a complaint in Sony's Toll Free number regarding a defect in my LCD TV on 20th SEPTEMBER 2011. Colored lines are appearing on the TV. The complaint no. is 8014255. The TV was taken from by home after 2-3 days from the date of registration of complaint. One month has elapsed after registering the complaint. Sony's service department has not rectified the problem till now. Whenever they are being contacted they reply in an indifferent attitude. And they have been telling that they have not received the required part of the TV. I wonder how any product can sustain in the market with this kind of product support. A product is only as good as the support given by the company. Now i regret for buying a Sony product.

                    I bought a MDR-EX50LP ear-phone from the Sony-World in Jayanagar on 4th of April 2011. One side channel of the same stopped working after 4 months. I walked into the Sony Authorized Service Centre (RMS Technologies Pvt Ltd, Jayanagar) and submitted the same on 27th Aug-2011. They said they will check with the Sony main office and let me know soon on the status(repair or replacement) soon. After a week when I went back and checked with them, they told me that it will be replaced and asked me to come and collect the set the subsequent week.
                    After this, I have visited the Service Centre twice and have called them every week for the last 5 weeks. First 2 weeks, I was told that the set is on the way and was asked to come back next week. The last 3 weeks, I have been told that the set is not in stock and they are trying to procure the same and again asked to come the next week.
                    Last week, after waiting for more than 5 weeks, I called up the Sony India Hotline[protected] on Saturday, 1st Oct-2011 and I registered the complaint and I was told that somebody from Sony will get in touch with me by end of the day, Monday. I waited for the call until Thursday and on no response from Sony, I called up the hotline again on thursday. I was told that it is a holiday on thursday and the status of the complaint has been raised to Urgent and somebody will call me by Friday, 6th Oct 2011. Until now, 12th Oct 2011, I have not received any calls from Sony. Neither have I received any call from the service centre. In all these 45 days, I have called them up at least 10 times and visited the service centre 4 times and I have not received one proactive call from them. This is the worst customer service that I have seen until now. Even though the earphone set only costs about Rs 900, but this is not the kind of service one expects from Sony. The details of the complaint are below:

                      After six days of complaint, I received a phone call and message that some board needs to be replaced for which I have to pay Rs.7286/- Still from[protected] to[protected]almost 18days) I have not received no information that when my LCD will be repaired and delivered back to me.
                      I am really surprised that for just a minor complaint SONY takes weeks together. The amount informed me Rs.7286/- is pinching me. If this is the performance of SONY product, I would be better if purchase a new local TV which can come for less than Rs.7286/-

                      Now as on today almost 25 days has passed and my LCD has not been repaired and returned back to me. I am unable to know that:
                      1. As to Why my LCD has not been repaired so far???
                      2. Is SONY is so third class company that it takes more than FOUR WEEKS to repair a LCD.
                      3. Can I know the name and mobile no. of top man whom I can speak directly.
                      4. Who will pay to me for the inconveniences caused to me for poor response.

                        I have bought sony zylo w20 10 months before, on purchasing itself i got a private informtion about this hand set (told that after 6 months all the function keys will be disabled) but did not care about this information, now i am experiencing the fault of the keys not able to switch off or switch on the mobile. Now the my set was dead Rs.7600/- ello ellu.

                        Sony is a big competitor company so these fault sets are in market are nothing for the company, i think the sony is going to beg from customers by selling the manufacture fault sets to indians. And eating the indians money.


                        Nothing to say sony has poor batterup known thing, now poor manufacture without testing selling the products with the highly talantable sales persons.

                        keep it up sony.

                        Soon you will vanish in the Indian market.

                          On 13th July 2011 I visited Sony Digital Kiosk at City Center –I, Shop No.F003, Salt LakeSector-1, Kolkata-64, and purchased a DVD Player (vide INV.No.CM/SL/S/93 dt.13.07.2011.
                          On earlier occasion I purchased a CD Radio Cassette Player Model No.CFD-507CP/B from the same showroom and also a SONY BRAVIA EX 300 TV from another showroom.
                          I had some queries regarding your products. Here I meet a salesman who was later identified himself as Mr. Biswajit Das. I informed him that I am facing some problem regarding sound in the T.V. set. Mr. Das suddenly stated that Sony T.V. has certain technical problem regarding sound. I am highly astonished to know that a leading brand like SONY is having such technical fault. But Mr. Das started arguing in a very rude way. I noticed that he does not know how to deal with the customers and requested him to behave properly. Unfortunately he suddenly started shouting and told that he is working for more than (05) five years and does not dare anyone even if this matter is informed to higher officials.
                          I told him that I have purchased a CD Radio Cassette Player from the same showroom and requested him to stamp the warranty card since it was not stamped during purchase. Here again Mr. Das started arguing that Sony does sell CD Player. I should first know that the nomenclature of the product is Compact Disc and not CD Player.
                          From the above occasions it is quite apparent that Mr. Biswajit Das is having certain attitude problem which is quite unexpected from a sales person of such a reputed brand like SONY. I expect proper action from your end.

                            My Sony Ericsson ST15i(IMEI : [protected]) was purchased from
                            Ganpati Mobiles [G-17-18 Ground floor Sri Ram Tower ,13,Ashok Marg Lucknow(email: ganpati.[protected]@gmail.com) (mobile: [protected]) ] on 06.09.2011.

                            Within a few weeks the phone's vibrator malfunctioned and it started vibrating on its own and is continuing to this date.Sometimes it starts pulsating vigrously while operation It even for sometime starts working properly.The phone has become dumb and no operations can be made on the phone.I also took it to Sony's authorized service center-[Sonic Infotech 1st Floor Faridi Building Maqbara Road near Mafaiar Crossing Hazaratganj] Lucknow Uttar Pradesh. Problem reported to the service center "auto-vibrate and hang permanently in menu/application". They told that it will require replacement of a part which is not available right now and it may take a couple of weeks.When insisted to give the time in writing when to collect the phone after repair they showed their inability to give any reasonable time.On our demand they returned the set with the Engineer Remarks "ONLY VIBRATER WORK//PART NOT AVAILABLE SET RETURNED." with following details-

                              I bought a sony ericsson xperia mini ST-15i a month ago, since last two weeks the phone has started behaving abnormally,there is a heating problem,battery draining problem and the touch buttons (back and options buttons) are working automatically on their own, they work without my command, if i open something, the phone comes back to the previous menu or screen. i am not able to operate my phone, you can check reviews on other sites about this product, sony ericsson shoult take it seriously because this is not happening only with me, this has became a global issue. so please if the consumer complaint can convey this message to sony ericsson and tell them to take some immediate action about this problem.

I Reported the Same Problem to the Customer care and Service center they told me that your IMEI changed because your motherboard is changed. they are forcing me to take the delivery But i had refused to take delivery yet as mobile body and IMEI no was changed. They are explaining that in change motherboard case the IMEI number get changed but why they are changing even the mobile body. It is still with the service center and they are not giving me any clarification on that matter. I called so many time to the customer care But they are not giving me any answer.

                                  This mail is on behalf of my friend who has given her laptop, when i was present, to Sony Servicing Centre----Address--"Sony Authorised Service Centre,63,1st Main Road, Gandhinagar,Adyar,Chennai,Tamil Nadu 600020". When we had taken it there then the sony service man said that he is goin to test the system and also asked for the charger/adapter along with the Sony Vaio Laptop. After he checcked the laptop he came back only with the laptop(without the charger/adapter)(1st negligence) and said that there was some short circuit in the motherboard which has to be replaced. The job sheet attached was filled in by the merchant were it was their duty to fill in the goods we gave them(2nd negligence) after which my friend had signed on the job sheet. We had an idea that the charger/adapter goes along with the Laptop which is why the service man did not mention about it and also did not bring it back after he had taken it in for the test.There was no assistance from the Service centre(3rd negligence).After sending a mail to their Customer care i get a reply saying the same thing that it was not mentioned in the job sheet and the service centre is denying about the fact without thorough interrogation(Final Negligence).They have tricked me and my friend and were lyin about the fact that they have taken the adapter. I am absolutely sure that we had handed over the charger/adapter which we want to claim it back. Please Help!!! IHave also Attached the purchase invoice, Job sheet and the warranty card.

                                  My complaint no. is 8206941. Please take some action as soon as possible since I am not being able to operate the Laptop. I need justice.
                                  Is there any hope... The Manager said he wil revert beck in 24hrs and its already 36hrs.
                                  Consumer protection laws designed to ensure fair trade competition and the free flow of truthful information in the marketplace.
                                  These Sony people are not co-operative at all. All they are saying is that the adapter is not there in the service centre this means they have either misplaced it or sold it or have kept it for their own benefit. I need justice. !!!

                                    LCD tv is not functioning with effect from 15/09/2011.Complaint lodged with customer care centre with complaint no. 8152894 dated on 16/09/2011,but nobody attend till today i.e 28/09/2011 inspite of several reminders lodged with customer care centres as well as Star Electronics service centre,Naraina at tel [protected] & [protected] only said they will come tommorrow again and again. Is this SONY WORLD no.1 with this kind of poor after sale service. I had bought this LCD from MANOJ AUDIO VIDEO{2009-10], Daryaganj NEW DELHI-110002 vide INVOICE no. C:41 dated 15/04/2009.This LCD tv now become idle useless.

                                      Dear Team Members I am very sad with Sony Teams.
                                      I have made a complaint regarding Sony Ericsson model J20 i Hazzel in Your Gurgaon TELE GIZMOS in April month that time they told me they don't have any rights to attaind sony ericsson mobile.
                                      then i went to UNIVERSAL TELECOM & TRADERS.
                                      They have got my mobile for channai sending but after 20 days later i got same as it is without any correction .then they replaied they will send it soonly.
                                      i have went there many times,now they are saying they dont have right to attaind sony erricsson complaint .
                                      in this month(September)my valdity has finished no body is attending me i have all correspondense regarding the communication or complaint.So do on urgent basis.
                                      If my complaint will not respond shortly i will talk to high level.

                                        I have received 2 calls from the company's customer care after my complaint with the Consumer Complaints stating again and again stating that the white spots are due to physical damage and they can not rectify it under warranty and if I want to get it settle, then I have to make the payment of Rs 1250 or I can collect the cell phone as it is right now. This is because they have not seen the cell phone and also not consulted from the service center about the status of the spots.
                                        Please help me out as I have borrowed someone's cell and I need to return it as soon as possible. And I can not purchase a new one for the sake of company's lack of commitment.

                                        I have submitted cell phone with the service center for repair under warranty on 20th Sept.2011, with the problem of display problem, ear speaker problem, display dead and also mentioned to rectify the screen which has developed white spots from inside the screen, and nothing from outside. On talking to company's customer care, have learned that warranty does not include the physical damage of the instrument. But those are not agreeing to the point that the screen has developed the spots from inside and calling it physical damage. I can not open the cell and develop the spots. The service center is asking for Rs 1250 s charges to replace the faulty screen, and above that, the service center staff is behaving in extremely rude manner.
                                        The cell had been deposited earlier also for dead display problem few months back. I have to get it repaired twice within the warranty period which shows the quality of product.

                                        Kindly let me know if something can be done in this regard.

                                        I have submitted my mobile handset with the above mentioned problems with the company’s service centre on 20th Sept 2011 and got the message from the center on 22th Sept 2011 that you may collect your cell phone as it has been repaired. On confirming before moving to collect, I contacted them and asked if all the issues have been settled or not, they said the white spots on the panel can not be removed and the display panel need to be changed which will cost for Rs 1250 even when the handset is under warranty as display panel is not under warranty. On contacting the company’s customer care, they told there is no warranty cover for physical damage of the cell but also said that warranty does not mention that the display is not under warranty. Also, they do not understand the point that the spots are from inside and it can’t be my fault or physical damage from my side. I can not open my own handset to develop those spots. And above that, the lady who picked the call, starts misbehaving. The cell is still lying at the service centre
                                        I had deposited the cell earlier as well with the service centre for dead display few months back, which is also the current problem. With this the quality of the product can be determined.

                                        Kindly let me know if any thing can be done by your team in this regard.
                                        After lodging the complaint at Consumer Complaints, I have got the 2 calls from the company's customer care stating again and again that this is a physical damage and will not be settled under warranty and I have to pay to get rectified. As the customer care people have not seen the cell phone, they are saying the same thing. They are not ready to agree that the spots have developed from inside the phone and not from outside. I don't know what to do, whether I should collect the phone as it is right now (with white spots) or I'll get it rectified as I have borrowed some other mobile from someone and I need an instrument for daily use.
