I bought two batteries of Model no. NH AA B2FN from your shop vide invoice no.026634 dt 08.08.2011 for Rs.440.

I had charged it for initial charging using the Sony charger supplied with Sony Camera PS D32. When I started using with the camera it is not backing up and it only last for five or six shots with flash. it is worsened on subsequent charging and usage. I was compelled to use professional photographer’s service for the function and deepavali. Further I suffered mental agony for buying a reputed product from authorized source.

When I approached you with the complaint for redress on 31.10.2011, your uncaring attitude and rude behavior raises the doubt on the genuineness of the batteries as well on your customer service. I sent one NOTICE dated 02.11.2011 to you and your principal M/s.SONY.

On receipt of that Notice personnel from Sony called me (from 28242576,[protected] twice on 07.11.2011 and told me that someone from your office will call and collect the defective batteries for the process of complaint. But nobody called from your office or there is no follow-up from you and your principals from thereon.

        Hi,

        I'm using Xperia X8 with an Android version of 2.1, When i visited your local service center at Visakhapatnam's I've asked them if there is an upgrade of android version of 2.3 in the marker, they said 2.3 version not yet released in the market. but when i went to get a new handset, I've seen a handset with 2.3 version (Xperia Tm mini pro). I was shocked why i got an answer of no from your people.

        Now please let me know whether i can update my Xperia X8 to 2.3 version of android ?

          We purchased Sony Handycam HDR-CX 130E from Cinema Art Studios , Connaught Place Dehradun ( UK). And we got free Demo one time. We registered for free demonstration two months ago. 3 times we remind customer care, the registration no is 8825004 , 9096288 ,and 9140483 respectively. But we have not got any response till yet.
          Confirm DEMO ASAP.

              I just buy a Sony Xperia Neo V mobile Phone Costing Rs.17,495 from Sony center Galaxy the lifestyle store on 25.12.2011
              Invoice no:S/005093/11-12.
              After purchase the mobile i just used it for a week but from the date of purchase i just look that there is a network problem arising in the handset.At first I thought it is arising due to my mobile provider but when i check everything i confirmed that the handset is corrupted.Because of all i just purchased it for a week ago for this this reason i just call to the Sony Centre,the person of the centre given me the no of service centre.Through the telephonic conversation the service centre told me that they will change my Handset but when i went there they kept my handset and told me to wait for the approval from the company but they can't said me the actual date of when they are going me to given back my mobile phone back.


              My final Question is to the Sony Authority that i purchase a mobile costing Rs.17,465 if there is any manufacturing problem arisen with in 15 days.we have not any special concession.You just sale the the product and through your customer in the hell.

              Please do the needful and give my handset as early as possible.

              Sony Xperia Neo V — Faulty new mobile phone

              I have been regularly visiting sony’s service center for repair of my new Experia neo v but after repeated repairs also my phone persist with same problem. The only change is in the name of the problem , that earlier it was auto on and off now it’s only off. My phone get switched off anytime and could only be switched on after taking out is battery and putting it again. Mother board have been replaced, software has been updated. People in service center say they can’t repair it. Customer care representatives say take it to service center. Company should know that y can't just get away with the customer after delivering a faulty set. I have made a big mistake in trusting the brand name of Sony.

                i am writing to inform you i am deeply disappointed with the quality of the charging port on the sony ericsson xperia x8 i have owned this phone for only 6 months and the charger port will only let me charge the handset when it is turn off i expect something doing about this.

                  I bought a cellphone Sony Ericsson ST15i and started getting a problem within a month. The handset would keep vibrating every now and then. After reporting a complain and calling every Sony office and head office we finally managed to get the model replace. Now even in the replaced model the same thing started happening. After I gave it to the service centre they told me it is a software problem and said that the necessary steps had been taken. The phone again started vibrating in a day. Now again I will have to give it to the service centre. I am really fed up with the product and the service offered. I would like Sony to provide a refund if they cant fix the problem.

                  Sony Ericsson G700 Mobile Phone — Faulty Product and Poor Service

                  It is with great regret that I am writing this email. This is the third email I am sending to you in a month with no response whatsoever from your side. If Sony Ericsson is a customer driven organization, committed to delight the customers as you claim I am afraid there is a lot lacking in the way you treat customers. There is an absolute disregard for a customer’s time and your service is far below even average customer expectations



                  I am will again emphasis how deeply frustrated and disgusted I am with your service.



                  My case history (although I am sure you are well aware of it is as follows:



                  I had given my Sony Ericsson G700 handset for repairs to an Authorized Service Centre (Raja Electronics and Services Pvt Ltd, New Modikhana, M.G Road, and Pune) on the 2nd of April 2009. Following were the problems with the phone which were mentioned to the service centre at the time of submitting the handset:
                  The volume of incoming calls was very low. Hence calls were inaudible.
                  The phone kept hanging and the screen would freeze up frequently
                  The touch screen developed spots on the screen
                  Music on the phone would keep skipping
                  Phone would restart frequently and phone book memory would often get deleted
                  The phone would freeze up on incoming calls thereby making it impossible to answer calls or cut them
                  The service centre took the phone in and mentioned a time of one week to fix the problems.

                  A week later I visited the service station to collect my phone only to realize that NONE of the above problems were rectified. To top it off the service centre said that the mother board of the phone needed to be replaced which would take another week. I was very patient and agreed to them wiping off all information on the phone and asked to be informed when the part would be available. I was given to understand that the order was placed and I would receive my phone within a week.



                  A week later I called the service centre again only to be informed that they had still not received the part. Again this was after being assured that I would receive it within a week. Also during this entire period of three weeks I received no update on the status of my phone from the service centre. It was me who had to keep calling and checking on the status, which I must say is really appalling for a supposedly customer driven organization which you claim to be.


                  I finally decided to make a formal complaint of this matter online as well as through your toll free number[protected] on 22nd April 2009. I registered my complaint with a customer care executive named Ruchita who noted down my complaint (Complaint ID: SE[protected] and gave me the famous reply “We will escalate the matter to the higher authorities and get back to you within 48 hours on the status of your case” With great hopes I waited for 48 hours with no response finally I called the toll free number again this time I spoke to another Customer Care Executive (Nafeez) who again gave we your trademark reply “We will escalate the matter to the higher authorities and get back to you within 48 hours on the status of your case” However this time he assured me a call back to update me on the case.


                  A few days later (27th April 2009) I had still received no call back from Nafeez and decided to call again. Needless to say I spoke to another customer care executive Kuldeep and received the same lip service as before. I asked to speak to the floor manager at this juncture hoping to get some clarity on the matter. After being put on hold for 15-20mins I finally spoke to Mr. Harish Mathur who asked me to be patient (after waiting for a month – how much more patient can I be) and said that he would personally get in touch with me before the end of the week (30th April 2009). With much assurance from Mr Mathur I hung up hoping for a call back.


                  Needless to say I received no such call from him. Today (4th May 2009) I called the service centre once again only to find that no one is answering calls. I decided to call the toll free number and got a chance to meet with my old friend Mr Nafeez again who again updated me saying that the part has been obtained and is being check and analyzed (I wonder what analysis goes on) and will be dispatched. With much frustration and with absolutely no faith in Sony Ericsson I asked to speak to Mr Harish Mathur – Floor Supervisor. However Nafeez said he would arrange for a call back, which I flatly refused given how punctual and how wonderful your service has been in the past. I asked to speak to Mr Mathur immediately after which I was put on hold for 25 mins. This happened not just once but for the next 5 times when I called back.


                  I have truly given up on this [censored]edil;ade of Customer Service that your company claims to live by. I think for someone who has been a Sony Ericsson customer for the last 10 years I have sincerely lost faith in your company and organization as a whole. Not only is your customer service bad but your product quality also seems to be poor and I don’t even want to comment on your service policy or your parts availability. I sincerely request you not to return my phone or provide me with a new handset but to kindly refund my money so that I can at least purchase a handset of a brand that lives by its promise of customer service.


                  I still await an update from either the service centre or the main complaint centre on the status of my phone which I have not used in over a month now.
                  Ya buddy thats the truth about sonyericssion customer services, I had similar problems with my W580i handset. I was told the same story about its motherboard. To be honest sonyericssion dosent have any quality standards and thats the reason most of there products lasts upto 0-3 yrs only. 3 yrs only in rare cases (non multimedia phones). The best thing you can do is keep your complain numbers and phone details with you and file a case against them in consumer court. Before you do that warn the company about it, I am sure they wll took some steps to resolve your case.

                  i have by mistake got a sony erictionmodel s302 a new mobile inthe month of feb 2009, just after one month suddenly its strart functioning badly i have send to the otherised work shop twice the say, it cannot be repair advice me what to do or should i go to consumer cort for that, or take any legal action against co or defective product
                  I am also facing the same problem with same service center (Raja electronics). I think problem is from Sony side itself. My case is just duplcate of yours. I gave my K810i phone for repair on 11-Apr-09, but facing same pain as you are in.

                  Sony Ericsson — Very poor product and service

                  Dear Sir/Madam

                  I have purchased one P1i from Mobile Villa on 07/12/2008.

                  The IMEI no [protected]

                  Since then, The handset is giving me troubles of all kinds and have been to service center several times but the solution is still not in sight.

                  The dates and jobsheets nos are as under

                  SE309CNT10461 submitted on 1-8-2009 recieved back on[protected]
                  SE309CNT10570 submitted on[protected] recieved back on[protected]after 1 month)

                  The problem still is far from repairs.

                  The touch screen stops working every now and then.

                  Reciever sound is not clear.

                  I have a bad experience from sony ericsson.

                  i purchase one C902 for some 15000/- rupees

                  i am not rich to throw 15000/- rupees in gutter

                  my phone not getting on so i deposit it in service center

                  there is very poor quality of Sony Ericsson ST15i. I purchhased it 1 month ago and just after 15 days the touch screen stop working properly. I requested to company to change the mobile but they clearlly refused for that.

                    Respected Sir,

                    We had purchased a Sony Vaio E-series laptop from Baroda in 20th July-2010.Now I want to extend my laptop warranty.

                    We have purchase 2 laptop at same time (1 for me & another for my friend).
                    My friend has come many problems after purchasing E-series laptop.
                    His hard disk 3-times failure within 6 months, & then after they have return laptop to Sony Vaio and taken money back.

                    I have also found 1 time hard disk failure & 1 time CD lense problem.

                    So there will be lots of hardware failure in Sony Vaio E-series Model.
                    For this reason I want to extend my Laptop warranty, because I know many failure will come in future.

                    My actually warranty is completed on[protected] as per Bill. But due to some reason (I dont know) in system warranty of my laptop is[protected]. I ask reason at Parshwa electronic at Surat But they also don’t have any answer.

                    I have also ask that i have to extend my warranty in July or Oct, They told no need in July. Before 19-Oct-11 you can extend your laptop warranty at Sony Centre. For that I visited Sony Centre at Anand Mahal road Surat dated at 15-Oct-11 and given 2500 Rs for extended warranty to Mr.Hardik Prajapati.

                    I have also talk with Mrs, Ritu Raj regarding this issue but still my warranty is not increased.

                    Since last 2 & 1/2 month I was follow up this issue but still not solve.

                      I bought a Sony Handycam in Jan, 2009 with 3 years carry-in warranty. The product developed problem 02 months back. I went to the authorised Sony Service Centre in Chembur and gave the product for repair. The problem was HDD Error. I was told that the Centre will replace the existing 30GB HDD with a new original Sony HDD of 60GB. After 4 days, on 11.12.2011 I got a call from the Centre to collect back. I went and signed the papers. I was shown that the product is working and when enquired they told that they have replaced the exisitng HDD with new 80GB HDD. When I countered that initially I was told that the Sony makes only 60GB HDD, the Centre-representative corrected that it is 60GB HDD only. Not satisfied, I came home and recorded some images. When I replayed there were scratches and no image was getting stored with the message that the image database file is damaged. I rushed to the Centre the very next day 12.12.2011 and enquired. I was told that no electronic product can be guaranteed. Further,I was told that such problems occur in all the Sony Handycam of the particular model. I again gave the product for repair on 12.12.2011 and till today (26.12.2011) I have not got a call from the Centre for collecting it back. On 24.12.2011, I called them up and enquired whether my Handycam has been repaired. They said they would call me once the product is ready. Till date I have not got a call from them. I have
                      also called up the Sony Corp customer care and explained the problem. They said the Service Department/Head would contact me. No call has come from them either. I have also sent a mail to the email id of the Sony customer service. I got an auto-generated mail acknowledging my mail. No fruitful result has come out so far. I do not know when I will get back my Handycam in a fully and perfectly working condition. Whether I will ever know the HDD they would replace, if at all they, would be the new, original Sony Handycam HDD. I do not know what to do? and whom to approach for redressal ?

                      SONY CORPORATION — REPAIR OF HANDYCAM

                      I HAVE A SONY HANDICAM CCD TRV23E. ITS CASSETTE HAS GOT STUCK INSIDE AND IT IS NOT GETTING EJECTED. IT IS INDICATING FAULT 31.11/32.10 IN THE DISPLAY . HANDICAM WAS GIVEN FOR REPAIR TO THE SONY SERVICE CENTRE . THEY COULD NOT REPAIR IT AS THE MOTOR, WHICH THEY SAID WAS FAULTY, IS NOT AVAILABLE THESE DAYS. REQUEST ADVISE ACTION FOR GETTING IT REPAIRED

                          I Namdev D. Labade purchased the Sony Ericsson – SK17i- Xperia mini pro handset on 11Sep2011 from Star Electronic,Chinchwad Pune , attached the scan copy of bill and warranty card.

                          This phone is based on Android and required Gmail account, I have the Gmail account then also at first time my handset was not working then I contact to customer care and solve the problem.

                          Now it is too much when I was out of Pune this handset given me the big distress, first the operation got slow and then the touch pad stops the working.

                          Due to touchpad not working I have lost my important calls and get irritated.

                          We have purchased the 6 handsets and they are working fine excluding my. We have planned to by another 4 handsets but due to this problem we keep it on hold.

                          I am trusting quality and brand name of Sonyericsson but due to this concern my confident about SE getting low and now I will not suggest to anybody to buy xperia minipro sonyericcson handset.

                          If in same handset within 2 month 2problems is coming then I don’t know in future how much it will come in the same handset, may be this handset having manufacturing problem.

                          So I kindly request you pls give me the replacement of handset early as possible.

                          Looking at the brand name 'SONYERICSSON', and being a valued customer i am looking forward for a sincere steps and the earliest

                            I bought a Sony Ericsson Xperia mini ST-15i a month ago, since last two weeks the phone has started behaving abnormally,battery draining problem and the touch buttons (back and options buttons) are working automatically on their own, they work without my command, if i open something, the phone comes back to the previous menu or screen. I am not able to operate my phone. To Solve this problem i submitted my mobile handset SONY ERICSSON SERVICE CENTER on 7 Dec 2011. They said it's a touch panel fault and it will take 8 days to fix problem. and they are now saying that company still not Dispatched your TOUCH PANEL (product) and don't know how long it will take.

                              I've Sony DVD player model no DAVDZ556KB/CE.
                              On complaint of Push power I've submitted my player to Service Centre, Bilaspur on 29.11.2011.
                              The service centre fellow at Bilaspur & Indore kept on making trial & error till the set got damaged fully. Now after 17 days they have given an estimate of Rs 5734.00.
                              The set was sent to Indore without taking my consent or giving any estimate.
                              Higher Authority intervention is sought herewith.

                              As per the policy of Sony India, any complaint is to be responded in 48 working hours.



                              I've logged a complaint (No 9012911) on 19th December at 1200 noon.

                              BUT till this time i.e. 28th December 1100 hrs, I've NOT received any Response.

                              I've chased this matter with your call centre on 23rd, 26th & today.



                              I've also informed this problem to Sony India on line through Contact Us. But no response has been received.



                              My complaint itself is about late reponse of Service Centre.

                              Do Sony India has acquired this new characteristic of NOT RESPONDING ?

                                I've bought a Sony Ericsson Mobile phone on October 10, 2011. From Spice Retail Ltd G-3, JSKR, Sec-18 Noida. After a very few time the phone was not working, i informed to Sony Ericsson serice center on November 3 , 2011 at 1:09 pm, they told me that it was a software problem and try to shortout, but they could not solved it, Than they promised me to change the mobile phone. But from November 3 the store members and service center are making me fool. But now I'm facing more problem with the store members. and to take back my new mobile many of times i meet them, but no responsed.

                                  sir i bought a sony ericsson w20 on[protected] worth rs.7500. from then it has got 4 times problem.
                                  near about in every two month l take it to the service centre .recently it had get reciever problem and slide problem. service centre repaired reciver prblem bt for sliding he said to left handset for 1 month. after feb the warranty will expire and if it again get problem then what i will do.
                                  sir i m a student ,plz tell me what can i do of get out of rid of this problem.

                                    I have purchased a 40' led tv model no.40EX520 s.no.2450479 on
                                    11.10.2011 from CITICO, City Center, Sector IV, B.S .City. on the day
                                    of installation itself,a problem was detected. There is a power
                                    leakage in the set. the engineer said that it is happening due to some
                                    manufacturing defect in the set. Both the dealer and the service
                                    center people have agreed to replace the set with a new piece. but I
                                    regret to inform you that . more than one month has passed, but my
                                    repeated pleas have fallen into deaf ears. now they are even not
                                    lifting my phone. Sir , I purchased this set deeming it to be the
                                    best brand, but my confidence has shattered Now we are scared of

                                      We have a extended warranty for a Sony Vaio laptop purchased from Croma, Malad, Mumbai. The extended warranty was to be supported from Croma across India. But as the Laptop is been used at Orissa and they do not have branch over their, so they arranged some other local persons to take care of the same. The Laptop is been submitted from last 5 months and no results till now. We are not aware when we will get the same back.
                                      The service and response from Croma is worst regarding this aspect.
