Looks can be deceiving and SONY VAIO proves it!
A cheap quality expensive product.

Hi, I bought sony vaio laptop a year back and since the time i bought this having problems with it. It hangs after

startup. Lately my hard disk got crashed and lost all my data, since its warranty just got over they dont take any responsibility.
You can never expect this to happen from an expensive product like sony vaio , it comes with faulty hard disk.

I strongly recommend not to buy Sony Vaio laptop, it just have good looks but faulty machine. Customer service is

extremly poor, even they dont have any info on contact no.s of their own service centers.

Faulty hard disk sure will crash atleast once within 2years
They use TOSHIBA hard disks, why not to buy this product
Expensive than some of the better other laptops
Rude and in-experience customer support,
Cheap service in expensive price

Just dont go by the looks, as i did, think before buying this product or rather i would say don't keep this as an option.

Sony VAIO — hard disc

I have bought a Sony Vaio Laptop on 17.07.2010. With in a span of 2 months I have changed my hard disc twice, since I have warranty I was able to change my hard disc without any charge. I have put a mail seeking for the help whether it is a Problem with the Device itself but till date I have not received any mail from them. I need your help for further proceedings.

I am owning VPCEA23EN laptop and i am facing the hard disk problem. It was working fine. All of a sudden the blue screen of death came and after that its not booting at all. I have all my data lost. I m too frustated. Very worst laptop ever had. Who will bare for my loss?I had used Lenovo, HP and found it much better. I got that on June 2010. I have Sony TV, Home theater. Even my car stereo is Sony. I had lot of trust on Sony. But now
I am fooled easily by Sony Corporation.The lifetime of the laptop is just 2 years, and for that i had to pay 42k. It makes me to think about all the other investments in Sony and my future plans to buy Sony Products.

When i asked them about solving the Problem, Useless Sony Service ppl REPLIED -( YES Problem can OCCUR even after 2-5 days.)
My problem was OS not found, BSOD (OS not found is Hardware Problem, They cannot solve it) They are INEFFICIENT People.

What help will u provide SOny india ppl When ur sony Service People are so INEFFICIENT in MuMBAI And other states.

Dont Waste time going to Sony Service centre Since they cannot provide Help, rather they can GIVE ASSURANCE That Problem Will COME even AFter 2-4 days.

Warranty Card has NO Meaning, So it is USELESS

Sony ppl CANNOT GIVE ASSURANCE that Problem like OS Not found, BSOD will be solved

      The screen of my 1-month old sony ericsson neo V broke. I deposited it in the Sony Ericsson Service Center (on AJC Bose Road) on 08/02/2012.
      The Workorder Number is SE[protected].
      The earlier ticket ID given to me was 92383135.
      The latest Ticket ID given is 92493232.
      The Complaint Number is SES[protected].

      On 08/02/2012, I was told the repaired handset would be returned within 10 days and that they themselves would inform me about its status. However, they never called. I called them up at regular intervals to get updates on my mobile handset and I was told that the parts are in transit from Chennai. Then after repeated calls, I was told, I will be given my handset back by March 2, 2012. When I called them on March 2, 2012, I was told that within 3 days they will let me know when will they give it back to me.

      Its been close to a month that everyone at Sony Ericsson Service Center, Kolkata are clueless about my mobile handset. This is how the after sales services of a world-renowned company shapes up. I bought a high-end mobile handset to use it not to keep it with the service dept who is just not bothered about harassing their customers.

        I purchased Sony VAIO Laptop in first week of January 2012. The same day when I brought it home and switched it on I got a fatal error and was not working properly. After several attempts of restarting again and again it finally worked but still the same problem persists again and again. When I called the Shop owner from where I purchased the same day, I got a careless and Arrogant reply from him “That is not at all possible!! We can’t do anything. You Have to take it to service center" I was stunned and felt betrayed by the company as it sold the malfunctioned product and at the same time the shop keeper is not taking any responsibility regarding the same.

        I had been trying to contact the Sony customer care for several weeks to lodge the complaint regarding the same. None of the customer service representative is showing a respect to the customers. I was such an insulting when I heard the customer service representative saying “Please Use Professional Language!!" When I shouted in anger regarding his unwillingness to take responsibility to my case. What am I supposed to do for the defective product that I bought by paying several thousands of rupees and at last they are not coming forward to fix the same?

        Is fooling the customers the strategy being followed by the company to earn more money?

        Dear Friend,

        I had also purchased a vaio laptop few days back. After 2 days of purchasing i got to know that there is a manufacture problem exist in keyboard of laptop. From that time I am chasing sony to resolve the issue but they are not paying any attention to this.

        On very first day, the lady at customer was not agree that physical problem with keyboard keys comes under hardware fault.

        Sony customer service is very poor...apart from customer care phone no. nothing is displayed at sony official site...like any mail ID, escalation levels, grievance cell etc..and even on demanding for same customer care executive denies it.

            I am facing display problem in few months after purchasing Zylo from shop (Jay Videshi Bazar, Shop No.5, A-1 Market, Sai Chowk, Pimpari, Pune -17 ).

            Below are the purchase details:

            1) I submitted my mobile 3 times for same issue in same sony ericcsson service center (New Tirupati Cellulars", Shop 2&3, Esteem Towers, Mumbai - Pune Road, near Surya Hotel, Kharalwadi, Pimpri, Pune-411018. Phones:- [protected]/[protected]) but they did not fix the problem permanantly.

            2) Now the service center guys are asking me to change display with additional cost of 720/- RS though my cell phone is in warrenty period and blaming that the cell phone has physical damage where it doesn't have any physical damage.

            3) Also, they are suggesting to show this cell phone in some other sony ericsson service center in Pune and gave up from fixing the problem.

            4) Neither they are providing me fix of the display problem nor they are replacing my mobile.

            5) Seems that the ZYLO model itself has lot of issues and service centers are not co-operating.

            Really frustated with this Zylo as well as Sony Ericcsson Service Center.

            Can someboday please help me ?

            Sony Ericsson Zylo — No proper service

            Hiii,

            i had purchased sony ericsson zylo phone on 14th november 2010. Now i have problem in the hand set i went to the near by authorised service center of sony ericsson and gave complaint. They are asking charges for repair. inspite of having warranty which was shown to them as proof along with the original bill. And they have even tampered with my mobile and have caused damage to it also.

            kindly guide on what can be done further as damage has happend from the authorised service person of sony ericsson. Requested for replacement of the mobile as damage is done by them and service has not yet been accepted.

              Purchased handset SonyEricsson Xperia Active st 17i 3 months back.

              Since the day purchased observed problem of call drops, internet miss connectivity, message miss delivery, camera focus issues, photo with lighting issues etc.

              Reported service center 2 months back, they referred to another service center at Bangalore Jayanagar and took the complaint, promised to deliver in a week to 10 days a new phone.

              Took almost 45 days and gave an old mobile with scratches on touch screen, back panel, dust at speakers and camera posing it to be new. I rejected the mobile and immediately get a new one but in vain.

              Due to repeated delays and such surprised response of Customer care of old mobile instead of new mobile replacement I asked for DO letter to purchase any mobile of my choice because I have lost hope in their genuine product delivery.

              Spoke to Regional Manager telling the wait and nuisance caused and requested I don’t want any delays for the mobile but DO letter to purchase any mobile, but have got no response.

                I purchased a Sony Walkman nwz-w202 from a Sony authorized dealer. However, I could use the player only till may one year. I have been running from service center to dealer to online customer care center but every one insists 50% of product purchase price etc without which they are refusing to take any action. The serial no of my piece is 5499849. What I dont understand is the difficulty which I have to go through to argue and make a set of people understand the issue which is caused by a defective equipment manufactured by a reputed company like Sony. I also searched on the net and have now come across innumerable similar complaints all over the world and a news item where in Sony had replaced the defective pieces. But in my cases the people are saying that I would have to pay money to get the set replaced. and there too, the warranty lasts for a year. Looks a fantastic deal for a company to manufacture which fails after 13 months and needs replacement but at a price. This is not the customer experience I expected from Sony. So please help. Rs 5000/- may not be big for Sony, but it is pretty big for someone who gets only two earpieces connected by a wire and does nothing for that money.

                Sony/nwz-w202 — Faulty Product

                I bought a sony MP3 walkman NWZ-W202 from Reliance Digital Gurgaon.
                after 3-4 days it stopeed working, i gave it back to the reliance store, they said that they will forward it to Sony Service center. after 2 weeks they come up saying that although the product is in warrenty period but as their is rust on the usb port they will charge for repair. The is problem reported with this product all over world, that it malfunctioned due to moisture/swat. the product is designed for workout so how one will avoid sweatting during workout. Sony is replacing this globally but in india they are charging for repair, it seems sony has dumped this product to india. i am still doing follow up with sony and reliance.

                  I am using Sony Ericsson w705 I have purchased this phone on 1st of June 2011 as you can find in the attachment. I have given my phone for repair to their Maa Vaishnavi Service Center at Laxmi nagar on 19th of January 2012 with the Work order number se[protected] however on 27.01.12 I got to know about my phone status that Sony Ericsson has stopped making the parts of my phone that is why E-star has returned the phone. I talked about this with their call center they told me that they were in touch with their head office and they will get it done repaired within 3 days and they have asked me to take a new Work order number I trusted them and did so my new work order number was se[protected] and it is still not done they were unable to get it repair so I asked them to replace my set with the current model I called their call center again there was a guy named Abhinav he straight forward denied me that you can't replace this set I asked them can you forward these words through email he was ready for it however I haven't got such an email yet. I want its replacement because if they were unable to repair my phone at this time then what would happen once the warranty got over? I have talked regarding this issue with their call center head (Manu) on 08/02/12 he assure me that Mr. Ankit will follow this case who was the supervisor suddenly I fall ill and could not contact Sony Ericsson for 6 days and no one was bothered to take care of my issue when I called them back on 17/02/12 they have not found any solution I talked about this Mr. Wamiq Ansari he gave me offer to replace my phone and provide the replacement and then he change his word and told me that he will provide me the same mobile phone SONY ERICSSON W705 which I have told him 10 times that i will not accept because they have already stoped supporting this phone then Mr. Ansari gave me one more offer to provide me j20 which was also Sony Ericsson not dealing with I am harassed so much for a month still I want to get a solution through mutual understanding, I called again to your call center twice to talk Mr. Ankit however they promised me to gave me a call back what they didn't I tried my level best to resolve this issue without going consumer court and they keep on disappointing me I would request you to help me so that we can let consumer know that how much great customer service Sony Ericsson provides to their customer.

                  Sony Ericsson — Customer Harassment

                  On 18th June 2011 I have given my X10 mini to your service center in Lajpat Nagar (I-11, Basement, Lajpat Nagar Part-II, New Delhi Ph[protected] to repair my touch screen and they assured me to repair it in 1 week, but its been more than 2 months i haven't received my phone. The behavior of the people is very rude and very casual towards their work .They said due to some problem in the internet connection my work order number has not been generated.

                  I have complaint the same to your Help line on 3rd August (Ticket no[protected] and they were suppose to call me back in 48 working hours I haven't got any response from them either. I have called them may times and still they are not responding to my complaint.
                  Then mailed them on Aug10 (Ticket No.[protected] , after replying them with full case summary they also did not reply to my mail.Now when I call them they say they will arrange a callback for me still i have not got any response from there side.

                  Hoping for a quick action from your side.

                    This complaint is in regards to a Sony Erricson mobile that i bought for my wife last year 21/03/2011. The make of the model is W100i and i bought this from a dealer in Janakpuri New Delhi for Rs 4900.(Mobile Planet)

                    The mobile phone started giving problem from the very 1st week like:-
                    it use to hang,
                    It use to show out of memory every time i wanted to send a text message
                    It wont respond if i try to open an application.

                    So i went back to the dealer from where i bought this phone, he took the phone and told me to come next week as he wanted to send the mobile phone to the service center, i went next week and he told me that the phone is OK now as he got it rebooted and all.

                    I came back home and i faced the same problems again, i went to the shopkeeper again and this time he reacted very badly and didn't help me at all, he told me to that i will have to contact the service center and he cant do anything about it, he even told me that he wasn't interested to listen to what i had to say.

                    Next day i went to the service center of Sony Erricson in Janakpuri and i was advised by the center owner that this is a problem with the handset, it has low internal memory and nothing can be done about it.

                    I am feeling cheated and helpless.

                    I was told by one of my friend and my father that you people actually take care of these things that's why i am approaching you

                    Would request you to kindly look into the matter and see if anything can be done about this

                      I purchased a sony vaio laptop from comsol pvt ltd ho trivandrum on 25/01/2012 product key-YVJ9F-MHGM9-79DDY-GKYQJ-F6DDPJ. From the first week itself it was not working properly. I consulted a sony authorized service center at plamood jn trivandrum on 04/02/2012. they done something and at that time it was working. but after a few hours later the problem again started. Then on 18/02/2012 i again consulted the same service center..Then also they done something and at that time also it was working. But now the thing is that the problem is still there. Then i called on your toll free number. Mr.Chandan was on line and he said that a formatting is needed. I'm not interested to go for servicing regularly. What is the next step i have to follow?

                        I have purchased Sony Laptop (E Series VPCEA46FG) in July 2011. I am having problem in my USB port after purchasing the Laptop i have visited Sony Service center twice. They have replaced my USB port twice but still they are unable to rectify my problem.

                        Please let me know how can I replace by Manufacturing defected Laptop from Sony.

                            I,Apurva Aggarwal,purchased a sony vaio laptop from Pioneer computers,ghaziabad.

                            Within 2 months of purchase the system began to hang.Then to add to the problem it crashed showing a blue screen displaying a message of DUMPING PHYSICAL MEMORY.
                            I quickly showed the laptop to the sony center of ghziabad,where the technician said it is an internal problem & need repair.
                            I was charged Rs400, for the same ,which I am NOT SUPPOSED to give sine it is in th warranty period ,still to avoid risk i agreed.
                            NOW the same problem is occurring daily. I have spent a huge sum of money by now
                            .I want no less than REPLACEMENT OF THE LAPTOP BY A NEW ONE.

                            Whoseover is the concerned authority plz look into the matter as soon as possible as my entire work is done on the system.

                              I purchase a Sony KLV32: LCD TV from your dealer M/S Suraj Business Pvt Ltd in Oct 2009. There was always a problem of non response of remote with TV but it was not too consistent. Ultimately the TV stopped working in Oct 2011 and we called your service centre Advanced Electronics. They charged their service charge and said that the processor is not working and it will cost Rs 9272 and needs to be replaced. They wanted us to send the TV to their service centre. I made various complaints to your customer care number saying that such a reputed company's TV not working with in two years of purchase is a shame on the company's name. Also that the repair cost is 20% of the cost of TV is exorbitant. All my complaints have fallen on deaf ears. Ultimately I could not watch the dead TV hanging on my wall and I deposited Rs 8000 as advance with Advance Electronics for the spare part on 27th Jan 2012. Today it has been 21 days and they do not know when the part will come. Please tell me which door to knock. I request you to change this spare part free of cost since your company has given me enough harassment. But if it is the strategy of the company then I will have to take shelter in legal recourse.

                                last week I had taken my sony ericcson handset to the service centre at Roshnara Road,Delhi . They charged me Rs900/- for repairing but there was no response so i took it again the next day,they responded there was no guarantee to get it fixed. so I asked them for my money back they refused that too. They responded so cruelly and arrogant about it. I didnt get my phone fixed and moreover I was charger uselessly by them.

                                Sony Ericsson — No proper response from the authorised service center

                                I had give two mobile phones for service with the authorised service center ( Niranjan elcctronic ) in Chennai W800i ( recipt no.. 226, manual bill) and other model W350i ( recipt number SES08NJE11978 ) . I gave this mobile for service on 28th of August . I was infomred that the new phone that i bought W350i cannot be repaired under warrenty schem, for reason, that i was not responsible. I was informed that i will be called when the mobile is ready after service . I requested to give one of the mobile ( w350i) with in two days and the person who was in charge said he will try. I was informed that i will be called once the mobile is ready. After 20 days i called the service center today and to my shocking i heared that still my W350i was not serviced. Doest it take more than 20 days to serive a small phone, in the presetn world of technology. When enquired i was informed that its a new model hence the service spares are not in the market and they need to go fo the ordering the same. Why is that with out the spare parts one should have a serive center or on should launch a product and advertise it. I was asked to wait for another two weeks with out gaurantee of my phone getting serived or i was asked to take back my phone, after 20 long days of waiting. Is this the way you treate a customer, that too after waiting for 20days. The phone w350i is a new phone and it was denied company warrenty on vaious ground for which i was not responsible. You have denied your warrenty on top of it illterating a customer, who had waited for 20 days to get a mobile phone serived. Kindly look in to the issue before other customer get affected and

                                This is for your kind information that I had purchased my Sony ericsson mobile (Bearing model no: K810i & Sl.No:[protected]) on dated 23.06.2008 at Subiksha mobile outlet, Bangalore. I found the problem of network and signal not catching after two months. This may be while during the purchase time itself but it was not identified at the time because I was in the city area were we get full network signal. After 50 days I was get transferred near Mangalore. At this time only I came to know the network problem of my handset. Then I approached to the nearby Sony ericsson service center at Mangalore (Integrated Telecom Services). First they made some software upgradation and told that problem was rectified.
                                The next day itself the same problem again came, and then I approached the same service center at the Mangalore. They told that they will rectify within 15 days of time and they gave their contact numbers. After 15 days I called to their numbers but they are not giving any response to me and some times they are not answering to my call also. Then I contact one Mr. Vijay (mob no: +[protected]), he also not at all responding properly and also giving wrong messages every time. I am working as a of Generator service engineer cum sales in Mangalore region, due to my non availability of communication I had lost upto Rs.1 lakh for this one month. And then I purchased one new mobile handset for my temporary communication.
                                This is to be informing that I want compensation for the business loss and also I want my faulty handset to be replaced by new one. Otherwise I will file my case in the consumer court. This is for your information and necessary action.

                                even after repeated requests to the service centers at Bhubaneswar and cuttack they are not supplying me a key pad of the K810i. It is really disgusting. Customers are really getting frustrated with the brand and will definitely go for other alternatives.

                                Sony Ericsson Service Centre — Disrespect, Misbehaved and Cheated

                                My dad gave sony ericsson w55i mobile for servicing and repairing as it is not working properly. there is only keypad problem and service centre person charged 1250rs. They have not serviced it properly when i asked they said they had serviced and they are also not providing the demo for their service..after few minute they refused to show demo then they disrespected..
                                My dad also asked them to service the headset area which is not working properly..they lied that they had serviced when i paid cash then they said they if it is not serviced bring it back..y is this service centre.
                                They know that we as a customer cant do anything. we also have no support that is y these people dosen't value the customer. I took half a day leave from office and service centre people spoiled my day.

                                Being registering a complaint..will i get justice and respect.
                                Will this complaint worthful..
                                Do i need to complaint it to police.
                                Please help customer like myself so that this kind of problem should not occur again.
                                They also said that no one has the guts to take any action against them even the complaint at consumer court.

                                Sony Ericsson Service Centre — No proper response by service centre agents

                                Hi,

                                Today, 02.07.2011 i went to a sony ericsson authorised mobile service centre in Ambattur OT, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. They took atleast 10 minutes to attend me, wherein i was standing there before their desk. When i managed to talk to a lady in front office, she asked "have you come for service", i said "yes", she said the time for service is over by 6.30pm, come later" and the time at that moment was 6.40pm. She did not even care to look at me to give this answer, i asked for a complaints number to another lady in the same front office, the number they gave was[protected], when was a wrong number or an error number. i asked them for a different number, then they asked what is the issue, i said i have been here for quite sometime and you people delayed to attend me and now you are sending me back to come some other day, the second lady said "yes what she told is right, service time is over". I was not there for a service free of cost, and i believe they are in customer service and not something else. kindly offer better authorized service centers for sony ericsson mobile handsets in Ambattur OT, chennai, Tamil Nadu.

                                  I Have Submitted My Sony PSP For Repair/Replacement (to be decided by service centre) at Raja Electronics And Services Pvt Ltd, Shop No 3 & 4, Girls School Extn Building,2390 B, New Modikhana, Off M.G.Road, Pune:-411001 On 20th-Jan-2012 at the time i submitted the instrument they told me that you will get a discount of 50% and you have to pay 50% amt i.e. Rs 4,000/- and you will get a new PSP, i agreed the same and paid rs 4,000/- to them but now they are asking me to pay Rs 6,392/- for replacement Of PSP which is very much higher as new PSP is available for Rs 7,990/- that means they are offering me just 20% discount, which i think is very much higher amount, b coz in my PSP the mechanism has broken and memory card cover is broken but the mechanism is in working condition the instrument is not dead. I brought the same thing to notice to Sony call Centre On 6th Feb-2012 they told me to send the Scan Copy Of Service Job Sheet and my complain through E-Mail regarding Service centre issue and they also told me that after receiving Mail within 24 To 48 hours your complain will be resolve but till today my complain is not resolve every time i call up Sony Call Centre they give assurance that within 24 hrs your complain will be resolve and you will receive a call regarding the same but i receive call from their every time they ask about my Grieviance and assure me that they will get back to me soon after looking into the matter, but no progress has been made By Sony for resolving my complain my instrument submission date is 20-Jan-2012 and today is 14-Feb-2012, but still i m getting only assurance that within 24 hrs your complain would be resolve.

                                    Sony/Digital Camera — Adapter Problem

                                    I have registered a complaint on dated 12/06/2009 about Non functioning of charger of my digital camera DSC - S980 in Prompt Service 10, Shanti Niketan, Sector 2, near Chetak Bridge, Govindpura Bhopal 462023. I have purchased this camera on dated 31/05/2009 From Pankaj Refrigeration, A - Block, Shilpi Plaza REWA. The complaint Job No. "BP26377".
                                    When we use First time of Camera Charger, that time no power on on the Adapter. The Digital Camera on purchasing time not seal packed. Dealer on purchasing time checked the Camera but not checked the Adapter. On dated[protected] I Contact to Pankaj Refrigeration and told the problem of Adapter, He suggests me to go service center and I contact to Prompt Service Center Bhopal but there is no reply from Prompt Service Center till date. He only reply me when I received any Information regarding your Adapter, I will informed you.
                                    Please reply me the status of Adapter as soon as possible and give me the proper suggestion, what should I do in this condition.

                                    Sir, i bought Sony home theater system from Kangra Himachal Pradseh. around Six Months Back. As I having LG LCD Earlier and i requested, the dealer at kangra to pair my LCD with Home Theater System but despite repeated requests no body turned up till now and I am post to watch each of them separately .                                       This is with reference to a Sony Vaio laptop (Model E Series VPCEG 15EN; S/N[protected] which I bought on August 25th 2011, at e-Future New Delhi. I have been facing continuous issues with the laptop since the day I bought it. The laptop isn’t operating properly. It is very slow and many a times when I try to log in it takes me to a totally different (a weird looking) desktop. Sometimes I wasn’t even able to log in. I don’t use this laptop very regularly, and whenever I try to use it the problem persists. The system can be checked by a computer forensic expert and you would know that the laptop isn’t used for more than 5 hours in total.

                                      I have contacted the customer care many times and I didn’t get any satisfactory responses. As per the instructions from the customer care once I had recovered my system which I had done as per the instructions given by your experts. I was told that by the customer care that it was a software issue and recovery would solve all the issues. I was on the phone for about 30-35 minutes and they provided support which proved to be of no use in solving my issue. The laptop was working fine for the next 2 days, and then it continued to have the same kind of problems.

When I told them that I talked to the customer care, they asked me to not to talk to the customer care but to take the laptop directly to the service center in the case of any problems. If it is a software issue, why are you giving faulty software with a laptop? It is very clear that no computer will work without software. So software being an integral part of the laptop, what happened to Sony quality check? Why don’t you do a quality check for the software you use in your notebooks? Do you really want the customers to buy Vaio hardware and software separately?

                                      I am also a big fan of "SONY" brand. Many of the items you may find with me of SONY brand.

                                      After buying my laptop, Vaio VGNCS36GJ. I am fed-up with it. It has a got problem of becoming the screen blurr and blinking screen.

                                      I am going to rectify this problem anyway with them a the product is under warranty. This is going to be my last item of SONY.

                                      After repair I will present this laptop to somebody and gonna by some other laptop. Probably hp.

                                      i had purchased this sony vaio laptop from infinity (vijay sales) andheri west on 16th june in 52,000.
                                      on 18th june the webcam got dead. i tried calling sony technical team on 19th, they guided me to solve this issue through softwares but it did not work out. this procedure took another two days. then on 20th i went to vijay sales and told them my problem, they told me that the concerned person who could help me that Mr Bhandari was on leave for a week and i should come after that, as only he can help me out.
                                      this wasted my another 6 days then finally i visited them again on 25th june and then they directed me to go to andheri service station and meet Mr Satpal and meet mr javed also since then all these issues are going on you can see in the emails below .

                                      I had purchased sony vaio laptop model no.VPCEB26FG, serial number 7000381 from Andheri, Vijay sales, infinity Mall, Mumbai, maharashtra, India on 16th June 2010. I was given the laptop that day itself as the Vijay sales said they have it in stock,

                                      * it had a 3cms stain on the keyboard panel, which they told me is just a small thumb stain due to handling it, and will go with the cleaner provided by them, i got convinced and took the laptop. from that day itself i tried to remove the stain, but it does not goes off.
                                      * the very next day the web cam got dead!!
                                      * the laptop bag provided by sony had all rusted zips and the bag was looking two three years old.
                                      * the laptop functions too slow!!

                                      I adressed all these issues the very next day to Vijay Sales for which they told me that the executive from whom i had purchased the laptop is on leave and so i should come a week later. listening to this i was very restless, as i had just purchased the laptop and from the very next day i was moving with it.

                                      i called the customer care on [protected], on 19th june 2010, who on phone patiently assisted me with all my queries, i was told by them to visit the sony repair centre and put forward all my issues and it will be really helpful.

                                      i visited vijay sales again on 20th june 2010, to see what they could do for me as a dealer, but their behaviour was very unexpected and rude. they gave me a number of some Mr Satpal and told me he is the BOSS of sony and i can meet him in andheri east sakinaka branch.

                                      the very next day i.e on 21st June i visited this branch where i came to know that there is no Mr satpal working there and he sits in some FACTORY!!. the whole day i was moving from andheri east to west with my laptop but the day ended.

                                      As told my customer care then i went to santacruz repair centre, where i was told that the repairs are not done in this branch and any request of repair and replacement should be done at andheri centre, as the santacruz centre is just a take and give away centre. a representative also told me that i must claim for a replacement after seeing the set. this conversation had been recorded in the CCTV of their branch as told to me by Mr Javed the Head of that branch.

                                      again on 28th June, i went to andheri branch with the laptop query where the executive was forcing me to fill the Repair request form and then only he could process my request. after telling him several times I DID NOT WANTED A REPAIR he insisted me on signing the repair form, i told him to let me speak to one of his seniors and then i will take any decesion. On my stern behavior, they called MR SATPAL who according them was the BOSS OF SONY whom i expalined all the details, after which he connected a confrerence all to santacruz sony repair centre , where i spoke to Mr Javed, who then told me that HE IS THE BOSS OF SONY AND HE AHS ALL RIGHTS TO TAKE DECESION ON WHAT EVER ISSUE. listening to this at one go, i went to the santacruz repair centre, with a hope. Mr javed met me he took all the pics of my laptop and assured me to revert back to me within 5 working days. Even he tried removing the stain from the panel, but it was of no use. i was asked to give a written application for replacement request, whch i immidialtely gave and it was countersigned by Mr javed as a proof of acceptance.

                                      now it is 9 days and i have no one who knows the status, whenever i am calling the santacruz repair centre on 61535353, i am getting a constant reply from Miss LAKSHMI that Mr Javed is not coming to the centre due to some PERSONAL REASONS and she is not sure when will he come. under these circumstances what does sony expect their coustomers to do?? sit at home and wait till you have patience, or even after that, because there is no one who can help you, as there are so many BOSSES of Sony but none are authorised to take decesions.

                                      i would kindly request sony, to look into this matter and give me a qiuck response, as my sleeps are shattered and Sony Vaio has become a night mare to me. please either do something or let me know what to do.

                                      i cant imagine people in mumbai are so irresponsible they have such a wasted attitude towards customer care. i have all products of sony at my house, never thought of any other brand while buying anything due to the stirdy name and system, but this time i really regret to buy sony. Olease spare me this time and help me the way you can. i cant digest to have a laptop of 52,000Rs which has stains on it as a gift to me, web cam goes dead in two days, the bag in which i carry the laptop has rusted zips and its a completely used product i guess!!!

                                      This is with regards to the poor laptop which i have bought on 1st Nov 2010. In July 2011, HDD was replaced by the Service Centre. Now just within 6months from the last service problem has been noticed in the LCD and due to which the resolution given by the Sony service centre is LCD replacement. If after every 6 months such problem comes relating to the most critical parts of the Laptop I doubt whether the Laptop which i have bought has passed all the quality check. Vaio is purchased because its one of the most trusted brand but after my experience i can hardly trust it. The replacement always takes away some 1-2 weeks. This hampers my work. I do not expect it to be facing problem every 6 months. Once warranty is over the cost which i have to bear would be very unreasonable.

                                      I bought sony vaio laptop two years back.The problem started the day i bought it the processor was very slow .it took lot of time to get started, thinking that it might be a temporary thing,i ignored it but later i realised that something is seriously wrong with it.I called the service center and they assured my husband that they will take care of it.We also wrote some mails to the company . Later they took the laptop to there service center and said they have fixed the problem.
                                      ,but their was no change in the performance of my laptop,again my laptop was been sent to the service center and was returned saying we have done what we can this time the condition of my laptop was much more worse than what it was earlier.I was completely disappointed by sony vaio company.Till today i am dealing with the same kind of problem ,it seems there only motto of the company is to sell there product.After sales services of sony vaio is totally unacceptable.                                       Dear SIR,

                                      I HAVE PURCHASED SONY VAIO SVE15115ENB ON 01/08/2012 AND AFTER FEW DAYS THE LAPTOP STARTED GIVING PROBLEM. ITS TOUCH PAD STOPPED WORKING AND LAPTOP WAS TURNING ON BUT WITH NO DISPLAY.I HAVE VISITED SONY SERVICE CENTER LUDHIANA ON 29/11/2012 AND THEY HAVE RETAINED MY LAPTOP FOR ONE DAY AND RETURNED THE SAME ON 30/11/2012 WITH REMARKS ON THE JOB SHEET " RAM AND TOUCH PAD RE FIXED. RECOVERY DONE. SET OK".

                                      IT WORKED PERFECTLY OK TILL 06/12/2012 BUT TODAY SUDDENLY ITS DISPLAY WENT OFF TOUCH PAD AND KEYBOARD STOPPED WORKING. AFTER AFTER SOME TIME KEYBOARD STARTED WORKING AND TOUCH PAD IS STILL NOT WORKING.

                                      EITHER SONY SERVICE LUDHIANA DID NOT FIXED THE ISSUE PROPERLY OR THERE IS SOME MANUFACTURING DEFECT IN THE LAPTOP.

                                      IT IS NOT EASY FOR ME TO TAKE MY LAPTOP TO SERVICE CENTER EVERY WEEK.

                                      Dear Sir, I bought a laptop of Sony Vaio (Model- E series VPCEG35EN; S/N[protected] on 4th August, 2012 from Supreme Technologies Pvt. Ltd, 35 Chittaranjan Avenue, Kolkata 700012 I have been facing some problems with this model lately. Initially the touchpad stopped working in the last week of June, 2013. I went to a sony service center( Kalpataru It Retails Pvt. Ltd, Shop No. 105, 1st floor, E Mall, Chittaranjan Avenue, Princep Street, Kolkata-700072) for assistance. They asked me to submit the laptop, which I did. After 2days they returned it to me saying that they have reinstalled the touchpad related software, which got corrupted before. Again after 20-25 days another major problem occured. Whenever I tried to shut my laptop down, it automatically restarted. I had to rush again to the same service center. I had to submit it there again and after few days I was told that there was a glitch in the Mother Board. When I asked them to replace the model since my laptop's warranty period hadn't expired, they blatantly denied saying that they can replace the Mother Board but replacing the the laptop was not possible. I had no other option but to agree to what they were saying. Then after 14days they returned my laptop assuring that there wont be any problem in the future. Recently the problems started yet again. Whenever I switch on my laptop, Windows Boot Manager appears asking me to select the OS.There are some other advanced options also which includes Start normally, Last known good configuration etc. Apart from that the Bluetooth is not working and my laptop's touchpad gets activated after 5-10 min from the appearance of the desktop. Please help me in this. It would be great if the laptop could be replaced as i am fed up with the regular problems occurring in the laptop.
