Extortion Calls

Today, I received a call from one of the collection of agencies of Standard Cartered. Now the case is very peculiar, I dont hold a standard chartered credit card and never ever did as well. The call is in regards to collection of payment of card belonging to Mr. Arun Nair, with whom I dont have any relation with whatsover. NOT RECEIVED TILL DATE

WE HAVE CONFIRMED WITH STANDARD CHARTERED BANK, CHENNAI, REG ON ABOVE PIN NOT YET RECEIVED TILL DATE. MORE THAN 15 DAYS OVER. POSTAL DELAY IS TOO MUCH. Unlawful and unjustified of Credit Card dues

I have a Master Card bearing no. [protected] , which has been issued by the Standard Chartered Bank,India.

Fraudulent Transactions on Stolen Card

My standard chartered card ([protected]) was stolen on 28-Feb-09 and 5 transactions were made on this card
1. Airtel Bill - INR 2000/- on 28-Feb-09
2. Dream Collection INR 23000/, 10000/, 5000/- All three high value transaction within 2 min of time on 1-Mar-09.
3. Petrol INR 100/ 1-Mar-09

I got the call from SCB fraudulent department at 4:30pm confirming high value transaction...

Minimum balance limit changed and charged the amount without notice

Standard Chartd bank has changed the minimum balance limit which i was not at all aware.
I am not at all happy with the charges levied on my account without prior intimation.

- Before withdrawal i visited to Bank and confirmed that only 10000 need to maintain.

Dear Sir,

I have taken a personal loan of Rs.66,000/- (Vide Personal Loan Account No.[protected] From Standard Chartered Bank, Kolkata.for 48 months EMI. Charging unnecessary interest

I have a credit card from standard chartered bank. I don't have any outstanding in the credit. I got a 90 day interest free loan from my card. I made payment 1 week before the due date, but in the credit card statement I have seen a 600 rupees late charge. When I called SCB they told that the loan will be in different account and I need to make a payment and need to call SCB to inform that I have made a payment and ask them to transfer...

Credit Card false transaction being charged

Hi

This is to bring to the notice of the higher authorities that I was charged twice for a transaction done by my credit card on a petrol pump in Bangalore. When I brought this to the notice of the Bank via Phone Banking within 2 - 3 days of the transaction, they asked me to first try to settle it through the merchant as sometimes merchants do return the money if it is their fault. Home Loan: Home Saver

I took loan under home saver scheme(2005), at that time home saver interest rate was higher then nornal home loan. Bank promises many banifits...
One of them is
"After five years coustomer can repay the full amount wihout any pre clouser charges".

Recently i enquire in the bank, they saild this provision is no more there with home saver schem of housing loan.

Application Processing fees without informing

I have Standard Chartered Bank credit card having credit limit Rs.192,000.
During application of credit card bank customer representative did not inform me about any processing charges on credit card.
And I have been told that this is totally a free card (no application charges or nothing will be levied)

I have paid complete amount towards my credit card bill, and i have asked the customer care for closing the card. Now when made call for closing letter syaing that there was Rs 53 balance at that time then it it became Rs 3000 when the card got blocked permently. now iam ready to pay Rs500 for 53 rupess. but they(bank people) are demanding for Rs 3000 also put me in defaulters list....

Receiving Bill without Credit Card.

I had a credit card No- [protected]. After the expirity of this card I have returened it to your Pune Main Branch with cancellation letter, Zero ballance Statement approximatly three to four years ago. Whiling returning it I had cut the credit card and returned it to your Pune main Branch.
I am not using this card nor I have the card with me, still I am getting statement of this cards regularly. I have sent all these statements...
