Hi,I am Asha Mandadapu,I m here to give complaint about the symphony Air cooler.I bought this product at Mar 2012.Now the performance is worest than anything. In the features menu they mentioned it will work for 35 feet but even the air is not coming just for 2 feet. I believe that symphony is famous and good brand and i bought this stupid product for 6000.00Rs now it is not working I want my money back.

    I bought a symphony cooler from star Cj. but it is not working so i put complaint to star CJ. but they told that please submit your complaint to symphony. so i book complaint to symphony many times. i found one request no and next day i found a massage that your complaint is resolved. but the person not attended the complaint.

    cooler is not working and remote is also not working. please change the symphony cooler.

      I (unfortunately) bought a desert cooler model- winter from symphony via dealer-Joyti electrical (add: Kashipur-Uttrakhand) dated 01.05.2011 after seeing the adds on TV with abstract of cooler. But to my surprise that i have suffered 3 times , First incident took place when -
      After purchasing within 15days motor of that cooler burnt & i launched
      Complained but after continuous mail & phones this problem rectified after two weeks & it was summer day due this my family lot suffered & also sick.
      In this summer when i start my cooler after running 5hours its one blade broken down.My children suffered & sick also; their exam also suffered and my wife injured.
      On 1st of may 2012 it was under warranty & i launched complaint to dealer but they did not registered & take any action; then we register complaint on symphony online-PMR-4E-12005
      Dated -4/5/2012 but no action have been taken, again i have registered then agency of haldwani.
      But till date no action has been taken.
      CLAIM - :::
      1) Defective cooler have been supplied to me;i need new cooler instead of this.
      2) My all work with replacement should be done without any amount.
      3) My family lot suffered & we have rings & gone to dealer, mentally we lot suffered
      And my children also sick.
      4) Till date no action; as a compensation amount i need Rs 12000/-+Change this defective
      Cooler with new one.

        I have purchased the air cooler on 30th april 2012, but i have told that it will cool the area upto 20 sq.mt | 20 sq.mt 200 sq.ft | 200 sq.ft but the fact is it only cool the area of one feet not more then that company is doing false advertised to miss guide the customer and they dont have money back option also as they know there good sold with false advertise so they are smart enough to loot the customer
        I thing there should be some provision for the customer to complain or there should be some helpline number
        I thing we should never go for the cooler its better to take AC

          A very horrible after sales service (or the lack of it) by Symphony. We bought HiCool water cooler in May-2011, after which it stopped working within few days. We logged a complaint and a service engineer visited us who told us that there is problem with the motor. He fixed it temporarily and we used it for couple of days. After that, due to monsoon and winter season, it was not in use. When we started use again in Apr-2012, it immediately stopped working. We called the service desk and the engineer came on two occasions, just hit hard around the motor and made it working, after which it stopped working again. When the service head of Pune was called, he was extremely rude and indifferent about the whole thing. We have been following up with the dealer as well as the Symphony service desk since then, but there is no response. Every time, we are told that the engineer would come on the same day, and the day is yet to dawn. I think that Symphony is waiting for the warranty period to be over, after which we will be liable to pay for a new motor. Overall, a pathetic product and an even more pathetic service. Wonder if this is an usual level of service, or they were at their best this time.

          Surprising to see no Ombudsman defined, no escalation levels, complete lack of support. Wonder how they continue to be in business. From my perspective, I have started spreading this news, so that my friends and collegues don't fall into the trap of buying any Symphony product.

I bought HICOLL SMART with remote air cooler within a day i got cooler butten not working the same i raised ticket with custemer care no as well as email till now i am not got any support from them... I request all the dont buy Symphony product. its waste of money and time.

            I had bought a Symphony Sumo cooler about 3 years back. Its fan blade had broken off by itself, damaging the body which cost me Rs 800 (only the blade) and more than a month to replace. Last year its fan motor winding went off. When i sent it for rewinding the electrician told me that it had Aluminium winding instead of Copper. i then called up the customer care to confirm and they agreed that they are supplying coolers with Aluminium winding.
            Just wonder paying Rs 9000 for a cooler which has an Aluminium winding . And this year its platic body has completely withered. Its a super cheap quality product with no value for money.

              I had recently bought storm 100 E the latest tower air cooler from symphony. The company claims that it can cool an area of around 1000 sft. where as it is not good enough for a room of 350 sft. Also the motor pump of the cooler stopped working after 4 days from my purchase and I had made a complaint to the service center and its been more than 7 days and the service center doesn't have a motor for replacement.

              The quality of plastic is also very bad and its a total waste of money. My recommendation don't go for this model ever, its a complete waste of money.

              SYMPHONY 50-T — BAD QUALITY

              I bought Symphony 50-T DIET COOLER around 1 month ago for 6700 RS . Within 3 Days The SWING

              Operation collapsed and within 5 days the Trolley Wheels got disaligned and out of order.The cooling

              was as such a fan in running even a fan is better, How could it Be a Cooler, even it creates Problem of

              Humidity, thus proper ventilation is reqd. We called customer Centre, they replaced the Swing Motor but

              could not Replace Wheels and said due to New Release of the product they dont have arrangement for

              such Wheels.Now We could not move the cooler anywhere as such it has got Polio on Both Legs and

              are fed up with this cooler . I have Never seen such a BAKWAS PRODUCT in my Life.

              I WOULD REQUEST THE COMPANY TO REPLACE THE WHEELS AND IMPROVE ITS QUALITY.

              DESI COOLERS ARE MUCH BETTER THAN PLASTIC WALE, MIND IT IN UR LIFE.

              NEVER GO 4 THEM EVEN IAM REPENTING FOR SUCH AN WASTE OF MONEY, RATHER GO

              FOR AN 0.5 TON AC.


              SYMPHONY IS THE WORST COMAPNY PRODUCT I HAV EVER FACED.

              I WOULD LIKE SONY, O GENERAL, HITACHI AND OTHER TOP COMPANIES TO GIVE SOME

              ENGINEERING TIPS TO SYMPHONY .
              recently baughts DIET 50E, and not satisfied with pathetic after sale service as only after 4 days it staoped operaating as as per last survey done some electronic panel need to be changed same has not done as of now and received no commitment of resolving same in near future as well
              I had recently bought symphony sumo air cooler from symphony. The company claims that it can cool an area of around 650 sft. where as it is not good enough for a room of 150 sft. Also it spreads water from all sides after 7 days from my purchase and I had made a complaint to the service center and employee of company came and not given the full services.so, the problem of cooler remains same.your local customer care give vary poor services.

              The quality of plastic is also very bad and its a total waste of money. My recommendation don't go for this model ever, its a complete waste of money.

                We have purchased symphony air cooler from shradhdha electronics sangamner on 14/04/12.In showroom the cooler runs without water,after going home & filling it with water we find that the water is not circulating we registered the complaint at shardhdha electronics on14/04/12 But they have responded to our complaint on 25/04/12 & told that the cooler motor is faulty & it has to be changed.But still on today they are taking this complaint casually.And we are irritated after full payment also we cant able to use that cooler & now we want replacement of that piece as the showroom has given us faulty piece & we don't want any repairs in newly purchased piece.we are requested you to give us replacement OK piece Or give us our money back

                Should hung these guys till death.
                I purchased symphony air cooler DEIT 35I-ROI on dated 8th may 2014. I have booked a complaint on 10th may 2014 & I got a sms from Symphony mentioning my complaint no. as ND-AT-10E14037 and also mentioned That Mr VIRENDER will attending my complaint within 24 hours. But he has not shown up so far, I have called him several times but he has shown no interest to attend my complaint when my product is within guarantee period. Again I register a complaint on 26th may 2014 as no. ND-AT-26E14006. today when i Callto virender a lady attend the call aNd said he is not here.Should I need to go to consumer forum to get the matter resolved ? Its not even a month since i bought this starcj product & i am regereting the decision big time, i am thinking about filing a legal consumer court case against Symphony...

                  I have purchased a new Symphony (sumo) air cooler on 31.3.12 as it is an hot summer. When it brought home and started and found its cooling system is not working. I gave complaint to their on line number [protected] on 5.4.12 and a complaint No.DYE 5112003 is given. But no action is taken by the service centre. I have given email to the [protected]@symphonylimitd.com an they given complaint No.HDC IID 12004 on 12.4.12. So far the new air cooler is not repaired in the warranty period. I was frustrated with the service of the Symphony limited and lodging this complaint. Pl do needful.

                      Symphony Limited is not giving any JOB confirmation to any new joined employees. they are simply giving political reason and not giving conform service. they are using person for 6 months / 1 Years and then throw away form company for most of the persons even they have taken from other good company's. so please don't go for any interviews or don't join this company which are making Air coolers in Thol.

                      Old employees are also not satisfy with JOB and internal heads.

                        I made the complaint through the trailing mail on 17/8/2011 which is at Sl No.1. The company replied through the Sl No. 2 and accordingly I contacted immediately their local Delhi agency " Ria Enterprise" at their given phone number [protected] by Mr. Hamid of Symphony. The agency infrmed that the lower portion of the Geyser shall be replaced by 1st week of September'11 as the part is awaited from the factory. In the first week I contacted Riya Enterprise when Ms. Laxmi informed that Mr. Joshi shall attend within 3 days. For whole of September I have at least 10 times phoned Mr. Joshi but he never picked up the phone or have disconnected the phone. Even on 8th October I talked to Ms. Neelam of Riya Enterprise when she informed that Mr. Joshi shall attend,however,as usual neither Joshi turned up nor lifted the phone.
                        I have become tired and therefore this complaint requesting for addressing of the neglected issue of the customer.

                        1) I purchased 2 Nos Sauna water heater geysers from Balaji Electronics, Sector 7, Dwarka ; New Delhi in the month of September 2010 with guarantee of the geysers in vouge. Off late I find leakage from the bottom lower joint of one of the geyser and I approached your dealer M/S Balaji Electronics. However, they have refused to attend the defect and therefore I am approaching through this mail.

                        I purchased the geysers of Symphony make with the understanding that it is one of the best make in the market and shall be hassle free. However, since your dealer refused to attend the service therefore I shall be grateful if your service department is informed to attend and rectify the defect. I am sure you will meet the needful to maintain your reputation and goodwill.

                        Hi,

                        We bought a symphony sauna geyser in Feb 2010 from Light house in dak bunglow, Patna.It stopped working after 2 months. The service center said that the Element was faulty and replaced the original one with a new one. The element was replaced thrice within guarantee period. Even after that the element has been replaced every 2 months.The cost is close to Rs 1200 every time. The total amount spent on replacing element has crossed Rs 10000 within 3 years which is more than the cost of the geyser itself.
                        The service center representative says the only solution is replacing the element. But, the previous geyser(which was also from symphony) worked absolutely fine for years together without even a single repair in the same bathroom. Another geyser of a different brand is working perfectly fine in the house.
                        Request you to please look into this issue and get the correct solution for this problem.

                          I purchased symphony jumbo air cooler at big bazar with Bill no:41/52668, dated :13/03/2011 at a value of Rs.6790/- ,its pump stopped working 13/08/2011 for which we raised a complaint with big bazaar on 16/08/2011 and no action has been taken till date (5/9/2011). On contacting them today, I was provided with a local service centre contact number, upon calling him, he recklessy asked us to contact the retailer( big bazaar). no action is being taken on both the ends and my issue stays unresolved even after one month of time.

                            Hi, I purchased a Symphony Winter Cooler on 01st May 2011. Suddenly on 17th July 2011, it starts making noice, I got the complaint logged on dated 19th July 2011 by calling on [protected] and the service man came on the same day, he found that the one of the slide of Fan has been cracked and hence that would be replaced but due to unavailability of FANs, I was given the commitment that these would be available within 3 or 4 days and I was given the commitment that these guys would call me and same would be done on highest priority. (This should also be considered that my son who is just of 2 years old cannot be comfortable in such a worst scenerio). By understanding Symphony's problem, I agreed on this but while I didn't receive any call then I called on the above mentioned no. and response by Mr Saini again was the same that it would come in 2 or 3 days and when I requested them for doing this on urgent basis they had given me no. of Mr. Vipul Sharma (Area Service Manager), first he picked the call after 5 attempts of mine,he again said for 2 or 3 days when I called again, the same response was there, he also given the no. of Mr. Narendra[protected] who is National Service Manager, he said," He is looking in to this and would get back to me within One hour" but no responce has been received even when I called that no. on the same day, no one picked the call. Today I called on the Mr. Narendra's no. he said he never talked to me but there might me some other who might have talked to me and again he said," He is looking into this". But nothing is happening while I am calling to Mr Vipul on his no., he is not picking the call. This has been mental dilemna for my whole family, Pls. help...

                              With reference to purchase of the Symphony Air Coolers NINJA of 15 lts at star bazaar ,Chennai on 13.5.2011 detail of the warranty and bill enclosed . we have problem with the unit water is coming out from the front of the water level indicator between the joint of the base with castor wheel to the body of the cooler . our whole room got damped it also spoiled our bedding ,further for service contacted star bazaar ,Chennai no proper reply they don't no the service centre of the Symphony Air Coolers at chennai its horrible without knowing the product & service detail STAR BAZAAR people promoting this type of substantial product cheating consumer ,TATA group to improve the retail market it should make there club member with full satisfy procured this product by paying full amount [protected]@hotmail.com

                              EVEN I HAD A VERY BAD and DISGUSTING EXPERIENCE IN STAR BAZAAR CHENNAI,

                              1. It was shocking to see spy camera in the ladies trial room, when asked for the reason. they denied to answer. .When i tried to make a phone call to police, they grabbed my phone and threaned me and took me inside the manager’s room and convinced me that the camera in off and some other person told that it is not at all a camera, which i can’t believe. Being a women i don’t have any safety there, so immediately rushed out.

                              2. If anyone of you can make a visit to this place please be careful. Staffs there using harsh dirty words on customers once the customer leaves the place. Particularly Male employees in vegetable section and men’s cloths counter.

                              3. After weighing of one full chicken, they placed it for cutting and packing, When i reached home and cleaned that chicken for preparing Chicken 65, I was surprised to find that one leg and rib piece was missing. Even most of the time I find old meat and sea foods. but don’t know where to launch these kind of consumer complaints

                              4. One day i bought a kurtha worth Rs.349/-, a few days later my friend went and bought the same one for Rs.499/-. When we rushed with the cloths they denied to refund the amount as she used it once.

                              5. Inner garments are very badly organised different size in the box and some other size on the inner garment.

                              6. Discount cloths was charged on the MRP. kurtha found in the discount place with MRP Rs.399/- has discount of 25%, it has to be charged Rs.300/- after discount, i confirmed it with the section manager there and placed for billing. When i saw the bill shockingly they have charged Rs.399/-. And Men’s denim jeans discount board was placed under Women’s jeans counter. Nil knowledge about the stock available and unwilling to serve the customer, the attitude which cannot be changed even after warnings or charge-sheet.

                              THE STAFFS IN STAR BAZAAR SHOULD BE PROVIDED WITH SOME BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! ON WHICH THEY LACK

                              THESE ARE THE DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE YOU CAN EXPERIENCE SHOPPING IN THAT HUGE ROBBERY SHOP.

                              TILL DATE NO ONE HAS RAISED VOICE TO REMOVE THE SPY CAMERA INSIDE THE TRIAL ROOM, EVEN TODAY YOU CAN WALK IN TO FIND.

                              Mr.TATA if reads this comment please change your Admistrative staffs as they fetch bad name to your enterprise. Blame the HR for recruiting lower grade men and women, those who don’t know how to speak, and behave in a hi-fi shopping centre

                                  I too regret buying symphony winter air cooler at double the price as compared to other non-branded coolers. Symphony service is the worst i ever encountered in my life. I registered a complain with their customer care care center no [protected] on 14/05/2011. From 14/05/2011 Till 15/05/2011 i made them nearly 100 calls and everytime i was told that the technician is on the way n he will reach in 10 mins. I beleved them n waited. But no body came n i was asked to contact another no [protected]. He also promised me same thing that the man is on the way n he will reach soon. But nobody came. After calling him 10-15 times i was asked to contact another no [protected] (jagdishbhai). He also repeated the same story for nearly ten calls of mine.i strongly believe a game was being played with me i dont know why. Then on 15/05/2011 after repeated calls to various nos [protected], [protected],[protected], [protected] i was given another no that was of the technician Mr Jay [protected]. He was the guru of all of his seniors. He accepted the call n did not even bother to talk. Anyone can imagine what pain does that cause especially if i called him atleast 20 times n every time connected but not answered. I called him repeatedly becos he was the one who was finally goin to do the job. But all these efforts n all these calls were in vain. All of them behave like the govt officials behave. I wonder how this company survived thse many years fooling customers like us. I wish them a very bad luck n regret my decision of buying a symphony air cooler. I would have been better of if i had bought a local cooler cos i would hav saved more than half the money n would hav got a better service cos being local sellers these ppl want to retain customers. Atleast i would not hav been taken on a ride like these symphony ppl have done to me. I m so angry with them cos my 6 month old baby cannot sleep in this hot climate. N i told these ppl also the same thing but they r all heartless ppl.

                                    Cooler swing not working and current in body

                                    i had bought a symphony Winter cooler around a month back. There is a swing problem and a current in the body of the cooler.

                                    i had registered a complaint on 31st may but still havent got any response from company's end. My complaint no is SKH-1F11002...

                                    Even after paying a high price for the cooler, it did not work as it should have and to top it all there is no service support of any kind.
