    Tata Indicom Broadband Account Number: ACC[protected] Service Request No. Created: 15837432 Created On: 23-NOV-13 Service Request Resolution TAT: 72 Hours Service Request No. Closed: 15837432 Closed On: 24-NOV-13 The modem was not turning on and it looked damaged. The complaint was made based on this. No service engineer has visited the place or even called us to address of this complaint. Suddenly an SMS and mail has come telling the complaint is closed. This is not the first time, the service team behaving like this. So I thought I should raise this issue. Between August/September, we have made around 30 complaints. Almost all of them were handled similarly. Nobody was even calling us to tell what is the problem. -- Vikas

      I bought a postpaid sim on 26th October, 2013 from one of the sales representative of this company Mr. She had and his contact no. is [protected]. I asked him to start no. As soon as possible and he committed me by 28th October, 2013 no. is going to start.. But till now sim is not started and even he is not answering my calls. I am calling on various customer care no. 121, [protected] and [protected] but no one is listening to my complaint. I have paid 1100/- for this sim.         as i m customer of tata docomo [protected], i used services last 8 month but any time when i reachared my no company deact my balance without confermation...any time issue wht to do for this ... as i disscussed customer care they said rs 39 pack actuivate ... i reachrged 250 in this pack we get 1 b 3g deta and full talktime but this also we are not recived and all balnce deact ...

        i kindly request give me proper soution and also i raised complaint on cosumer court so wht to do for this also tell if not recived my balance and confermation ...

          1) Tata Broadband TTML is complete loot .. they took Installation charges Rs. 2124 from me and setup the connection. Connection was so bad that it was disconnecting every 10 mins... i was just pissed of. I asked them to disconnect the connection in 3 days.. But they didnt disconnect it.. instead they sent me bill of Rs. 5000 for use of 6 days internet (which was really bad one) and asked me to clear it. I said refund my money instead of sending me bills ... they never refund it to me. 2) Then Tata Docomo broadband person came in and he said we are different company and we are not like TTML he took Rs. 600 from me and never installed the connection its been 8+ months now.. or neither refunded my Rs. 600. 3) Now after a year of this looting Tata broadband sent me legal notice on email from lok adalat to pay Rs. 1086. This is how Tata companies getting rich by taking advance money and then not giving product. And on top very shamelessly sends bill. Below if the email I had sent to there customer support: Tata DoCoMo and TCL BIG BIG BIG BIG BIG fraud .. I have my complaint already going on with TCL .. then tata DoCoMo approached me saying we are not same company .. and said we will provide you good connection .. the person took Rs. 600 from me now and no cable was installed since 3 months and tata people WORST COMPANY never even bothered to call me.. just looting.. poor tata company... got rich by looting money from people .. first Rs.2124 and now Rs. 600 .. you shameless people even don't bother to ask more money for worst services you provide .. I have uninstalled connections since months yet you shameless TATA broadband sent me another bill ... instead of sending bill you should send me refund ... .. shut down you gutter services please and refund my money. You shameless people please read my earlier email below.. how can you loot people like this .. provide service and then you should charge .. you want every thing in advance and then provide no service .. paise andar aa gaye na .. mare sala customer " Tata Communications has looted me for Rs .2124, how cheap. You have taken money from me .. and your company was not able to deliver mentioned services.. I had taken 10 mbps connection and taken plan of Rs. 1999 which is very heavy compared to your competitors.. I agreed to pay this considering I will get extremely good service .. But it was completely different story I used to get 1.4 mbps speed on plan of 10 mbps.. with very frequent disconnection.. and bonus harassment you sent me ridiculous bill of Rs. 5000 on 5th day.. I was shocked and asked for disconnection thinking if I use further you will make me poor. As for 5 days if you charging me 5000 for a month it will be 50k ...right. So I decided to back off and there was no pointing continuing any ways as speed was as not mentioned and it was disconnecting every 20-30 mins... If you are not able to deliver you should refund .. where is my fault.. My only fault was that I have taken your connection and you looted me in just 5 days.."

                I have been using Tata Photon for about an year now. But off lately, i have been witnessing some major discrepancies in my bill.. They have been charging me incorrectly over my post paid connection of Tata Photon whereas i have been duly paying my monthly bill which included plan rental and tax. But off lately Tata Photon over charged me for some additional value add service which i never requested or applied for. As a result, i raised this concern to their customer care team but all in vain.. Its been more than 3 months and Tata Indicon and Photon team hasn't got back to me with a solution or corrective measure. Its pure negligence on Tata Indicom part to trouble their customers like this by over charging on bills. Beware of Tata Indicom

                    Dear Sir / Madam, This is regarding my VSNL A/c [protected]@vsnl.net in the name of Mr. Uma Shankar Almal which has a validity date of 01/09/2014. I am not able to send or receive any emails on this email id. I am facing this problem since the last 4-5 days. Everything was working fine before. I am not receiving any emails even on webmail. Also, I am getting below error message when I am trying to send an email from the webmail - SMTP authentication unsuccessful Or your account is suspended When I send an email to [protected]@vsnl.net from any other id, I am getting the below error message - Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently: [protected]@vsnl.net Technical details of permanent failure: Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for the recipient domain vsnl.net by in.mx1.mailhostbox.com. [115.114.58.8]. The error that the other server returned was: 554-5.7.1 <[protected]@vsnl.net>: Recipient address rejected: USER IS SUSPENDED 554 5.7.1 Please see http://support.mailhostbox.com/email-administrators-guide/error-codes for explanation of the problem. I am not able to receive emails even on my Microsoft Outlook. I have been calling the customer care since the last 3 days and I got 2 interaction numbers i.e. 59807522 and 59813563. There was no complaint registered under this interaction and on both occasions the customer care representative stated that there was a problem in their system due to which the complaint cannot be registered. On my request to speak to a senior, the call was not transferred stating that everyone is busy with other customers. I have been using this email id for a decade now and it was really very surprising at the level of service I got from the customer care. It was unprofessional and did not solve my problems. I am really facing a problem since this is my official id and since I am not receiving emails, this is hampering my business immensely. I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.                       I am Mahesh B. Bhate residing at Laxmi Bhavan, Tere Gally, Versova Village, Andheri (W), Mumbai 400 061, mobile no. [protected]. I have made online recharge (topup) of Rs.30 for TATA Indicom no. [protected] through www.gorecharge.com on 3/9/2013 at 1259 hrs. I received message of transaction successful, but talktime was not credited to my mobile. Due to urgency as my wife's 87 yrs old aunty is admitted in the hospital, I again done one more transaction of Rs.30 on 3/9/2013 at 0243 hrs. This transaction was also successful, but no talktime credited to my wife's mobile. When contacted TATA Indicom Customer Care they informed me that Rs.30 is the 750 SMS pack validity 15 days and both the recharges were used for SMS packs. I have made them clear that I have opted for e-topup and require talk time not SMS pack. They replied that they cannot convert SMS pack to talktime.                           I was using tata photon datacard for last more than 2 years. First of all when i purchased it they told me that my billing would be around Rs. 900 which never happened, everytime the bill was more than Rs. 1050. then last year i asked them for a better scheme where i could pay less they assured me that if i change my plan from unlimited to the fix one where you will have to pay less than you are paying as per your usage. As soon i did that for next 2 months the bill was too high to my surprise. I again switched to the old scheme. Then suddenly i started having the frequent disconnections due to the network problem they sent their engineer, i don't know what he did to my device (previously it was perfectly alright) said that you will have to purchase the new device which would cost around 1200/- , i dint want to spend at that point of time so managed to work with disconnections too. Now when i was tired with this i stopped using that and got one new MTS datacard for which i had to pay just the half amount in a better speed i stopped using Tata n askd them to stop my services, they didn't do that just to raise the bill. now last more than 15 days before i got a call from the some Mr. Sahil Retention Team, he requested me not to quit and assured me that within next 48 hours i will get a new device free of cost, my bill would be waived off and will convert the bill plan from Rs.1050 unlimited to Rs. 500 unlimited. nothing happened as of now. Its a complete mental harassment to me that everyday i wake up i see a message from tata indicom regading the bill recovery, as soon i reach office and open my mail box there are several mails regarding recovery and as soon i start with a meeting i receive a call regarding recovery. Please help me out with this, i want them to get a lesson so that they do not repeat the same with other people. also please do let me how can i file a case against them for my harassment.                             Hello, I have been using the Tata Indicom Broadband connection for the last 7 years now.. But very recently the customer service as well as the support from the local technical team has gone from bad to utterly disgusting. The net connection has been down at my residence since 24th August night and i have called the customer service number on[protected] atleast 7 times and spoken from the completely clueless technical team to the team leads and the extremely useless floor managers. Not a single person has a clue what the problem is !! Not a single person knows who is the technician working on the problem!! No one knows when it will be fixed!! No one knows what the problem is!! All they have been telling me is the statements from their supposedly quality team issued books "Sir, i am sorry for your inconvenience. We will fix the problem as soon as possible..." And when I ask do you know what the problem is they say no sir we do not but we will fix the problem as soon as possible. And the worst part is they expect me to sit at home and wait for them to call back... But the truth is not a single soul has called back yet...and i am paying Rs. 1,700/- for a 756kbps connection which is way way higher than some of the good players in the market. When it comes to paying for the postpaid connection a delay in a day will ensure that at least 4-5 calls asking for payments followed by SMS reminders and email reminders. But when it comes to fixing the problem no one is bothered..... Extremely disgusting TATA team.... !!!!

                            Tata Indicom Broadband — renewal complaint

                            i had bought a renewal pack online, it showed transaction successful but my account was not activated and i am harrased alot by them

                              As I am a non resident Indian. While in India I need to communicate and thus have taken a broadband connection from Tata Indicom ref:[protected] and my account no:[protected] After my holidays in India I request the company to hold my account in safe custody under confirmation to me as at times I have to leave within a short time. The company has always delayed in answering me and has never confirmed to the point, They just pass on the buck to contact customer care and upon contacting customer care they say email your request at [protected]@tatatel.co.in Upon writing to TATATEL and flooding them with reminders one hardly gets confirmation in detail to what was asked for. This has happened twice with me. The staff at Customer Care is not curtious at all Would like to have detailed information of my account as at date Sincerely Manmohan Singh Wasu

                                I have been receiving these disgusting MY DIVE-IN PLANET advertisements on my prepaid connection # [protected], probably through mobile internet. Example of such advertisements are - "Download Hot Babes Wallpaper", "Download Bikini Models", etc. There are often more than 25-30 such instances in a day. I have even tried calling customer care numerous times, and as always tell me to change few settings which are not even present where they should be according to them in my phone and often I have also faced the problem of disconnecting during the call. Few of them even pointed finger at me saying I have downloaded or enabled the application in my mobile, which is not the case at all and have been verified thoroughly. Even there is no setting for MY DIVE-IN PLANET in my mobile, that can be disabled.                                 I've been using ZTE S131T Tata CDMA Phone for quite a long time...I've a concern using call restrictions, when i was choosing an option bar all except friends list all incoming calls are getting barred.                                 I have been receiving these disgusting MY DIVE-IN PLANET advertisements on my prepaid connection # [protected], probably through mobile internet. Example of such advertisements are - &quot;Download Hot Babes Wallpaper&quot;, &quot;Download Bikini Models&quot;, etc. There are often more than 25-30 such instances in a day. I have even tried calling customer care numerous times, and as always tell me to change few settings which are not even present where they should be according to them in my phone and often I have also faced the problem of disconnecting during the call. Few of them even pointed finger at me saying I have downloaded or enabled the application in my mobile, which is not the case at all and have been verified thoroughly. Even there is no setting for MY DIVE-IN PLANET in my mobile, that can be disabled. Please note that this issue is faced by many TATA Docomo CDMA(previously TATA Indicom) customers as evident from online consumer forums.

                                  I understand the product is designed for the mobility and cannot be compared with the broadband connections. But it should give me the basic connectivity atleast, as I took a plan of Rs. 1000. It takes 15-22 minutes to open a single page and most of the time the connection hangs. I contacted their customer care division. They call me back but no one comes to solve the problem.
                                  Now I am really tired of all this. And desperately want to terminate the services.

                                  This is the case of complete negligence and uncaring attitude towards consumer. I would like to claim as under:

                                  1. Refund of purchase ( Rs. 2499 Plus the activation charge Rs. 99) and I'll return that piece of junk ( USB Modem) back.
                                  2. Compensation for mental agony and physical trouble as decided by honorary Public Grievance cell.

                                    I m using tata indicom since 2 months but on 24th sep 2009 after 3.00pm, my account balance reduced to RS 0.59 from RS 14 and i recieved a message saying that "core balance RS.0.59. please rechrge immediately to continue making outgoing calls- tata indicom from 12527";
                                    after that i m not able to make any call.

                                    I called at customer care of tata indicom and have a conversation with MR. lalit. He said that their computers are not working. I asked him to connect to his supervisor and he refuced by saying that its time of changing shift so he is not available ( around 3.15 pm on 24th sep 2009).

                                    I was feeling restless and called again on customer care and had a conversation with MR.Dinesh. He said that rs.14 have been deducted but the reason for deduction is not mentioned as the data will be updated within 24hs.

                                    Then after some time i called again n then the recorded voice did not let me to reach to customer care exective and asked to mail them on their e-mail id..
                                    since then i m calling but the situation is same .

                                    Then i got to know that a caller tune has been activated automatically without my permission.

                                    Being a student i dont even keep much balance as i m not earning and that too have been deducted for no reason.

                                      I was the User of TATA Indicom. I have given the complaint for Disconnection on Jan-2013, but they didn't disconnect out services and they are including the bills month by month. I got so many calls regarding the payment, i told them to clarify the bill amounts, but no body there to clarify the details.

                                      I have 2 Connections, with out using they charged 9500/- for each connection.

                                      By this month of 13th I got a call from Ms.Keerthi. She told me that She is a Legal Manager of TATA, I gave allt he details to her and she gave a me waiver of 4000/- for each connection and told me "this is the full and final settlement, then that time i was ready to pay that amount, but one of our management person told me that to take a confirmation mail before paying because he faced the same problem before with TATA. I asked her the same. She told me that if you pay the payment through CASH then, with in 10 mins i will be sending the mail. I made the payment on 16th of this month from that day i am calling her but she is not lifting my calls and i am not getting proper response from her.

                                      Today, from the morning I am calling to her number which is [protected], again she is lifting my calls,
                                      I called her from another number she picked my call and telling that "i am not Keerthi, she went out once she came back i will ask her to call you". I got a doubt because, i am getting the same answer from the past 10 days.

                                      Then immediately, i called to TATA Customer care number for the billing information. they told me that there has a outstanding amount.

                                      I was out of city for New Year celebration and I was not able to submit bill on time due to that my outgoing call has been barred, when I came back I got a call from Tata Indicom for the payment of bill, as I was out of city so I would not expecting a bill of (Rs. 1664), I have told the executive about the too much bill and she asked how much bill you were expecting I told her near about Rs. 1200. So she realized and looked into the matter and felt that bill value is really too much and the service provide by you is also of bad quality so she had offered me a bill value adjustment of Rs. 464, on Friday 4th jan-08 I have paid the remaining amount 1200 by cheque meanwhile my phone is barred and my outgoing call is barred till now.

                                      Now I again got a call on[protected] from Tata Indicom stating non payment of bill, which I have already paid and saying we don’t find any discount value for you and to activate the connection you have to pay the remaining amount (Rs, 464).
                                      1. If this kind of service and message is provided by Tata Indicom then which one is correct how I determine?
                                      2. By this conversation I only came to know that their executive is not professional and they can start blaming colleagues.
                                      3. He again offered me a discount of Rs. 300 (Rs. 100 for next three month).


                                      My Suggestions:

                                      1. Don’t buy Tata Indicom as there connection, speed and support staff is very bad.
                                      1. So while paying your amount, try not to pay by cash.
                                      2. Always use cheques.
                                      3. Don’t believe on phone calls.
                                      4. Company can make you fool anytime.

                                      Dear sir,
                                      We are using TATA Indicom since last 3 years. Earlier in our bill discount charges will be around 490, then it reduces to 470 and now it is around 270. Why this is happening. Thats why we didnot pay the bill of the month duration 03/01/08-02/02/08.

                                      I am PRITI MISHRA d/o R.S.MISHRA. On behalf of my father I purchased V-Data Card on the ID proof address R-25/4, Hari Nagar Extension, Badarpur, New Delhi - 110044 with post-paid SIM ([protected]) & all formal kits. Just after 2 weeks of the activation of that particular number it was lost. I had lodged an FIR regarding it in Okhla Police station & also made a complaint against it in Customer Care Cell on the same day & they assure me that company will deactivate connection as soon as possible but I am receiving its bill still. The First bill was of Rs.500/- I paid that amount on account of deactivation of connection as I was advised from Customer Care Cell of your company but still I have received a bill of Rs.2000/- apprx. & it is really not possible for me to pay this bill. I have attached a copy of FIR.

                                      So you are requested to stopdisturbing us regarding connection and look into the process of bill payment to me as I am not using it.

                                      Some bugger(Arup Gosh) has given my number as alternative contact number. Tata Indicom people always calls me and asks for the payment. These people never inquired that the number belongs to him or not. This is happening for the last eight months. I've given oral complaint on phone several times. I've even given a email complaint to Nodal officer mumbai.They replied they took an action against the person. They have closed the issue. After 20days same story repeats.
                                      I'm gonna go out on a limb here - I'm guessing your username is unintentional?

                                      There was a offer from TATA INDICOM for free 1 month internet connection in our society. The guy from tata asked us to avail us this service .We told him earlier that we were not interested, but he insisted that it was free for a month . I told him that i will remove it after a months period of time before he gave us the connection and he agreed. I did not use the internet even a single time in the free month period. Since i was out of the ststion my i told him on phone to disconnect the service on phone. He said that i will do it.
                                      After 3 months when i returned home i had 3 month bill in my letter box with a legal warning for nonpayment. i went to the customer care ( Pune ) personally. They are turning a deaf ear on this and are asking me to pay the bill of Rs 897 with only rental charges and zero usage of three months. I asked them to give me this in writing but they refused. Sir please help me .

Seven Thousand One Hundred Only approx.) after complained the company admited that there is clonning issue (Complaint no.[protected] dt. 18.02.2009) and incoming and outgoing facility of my phone is also discountnue from 10.02.2009 to 28.02.2009 (approx.) and clonning amount is Rs.6680.00 found but till now company didnot rectified my bill and every month they charged me Rs.100.00 late fees and after my compalined they refund the late fees, and now my may bill is Rs.1100.00 (approx.) and after so many compalint they did not give details of dialed no, so i can confirm that this is genune bill or false bill.

                                      Sir please help and do the needful, i am very tensed till 4 months

                                      TATA Indicom — Tata Indicom - They are Frauds

                                      My name is Karthik and i have applied for Rs.799 per month plan in the application form and they send me a bill for Rs.518 for the first month . After having a look at my second month bill only i came to know that they have given me a Rs.1299 per month plan.

                                      I called up to the customer care to file a complaint on this, as well as to disconnect the connection.

                                      They told me you wont get the bill for this month and they have sent me a bill for this month also ( and my connection is barred for the past one month ).

                                      There is no response from the employees of Tata Indicom showroom .

                                      They have a different plan just for the name sake.

                                      I am your customer for the past 3 years and having fixed wireles line. My phone no is 65299113.

                                      I have taken the Data V card about two months back (Ref. [protected], a/c No.[protected].During purchase of data card I told your Tata indicom true value shoppe to bill this with original my original phone bills, which was agreed. But understand the bill comes to me separately.

                                      My bill payments are through HDFC credit card as I have given standing instruction. Due to separate billing the bill for V data was not paid.

                                      Now I request you club both the bills with my original phone bill 65299113.

                                      Also I found the data card is useless and I want to change it to minimum plan (ie) Rs150/month. If not possible please disconnect the Data Card services with immediate effect.

                                      I contacted your customer care and they asked me to log one more request through your outlet.
                                      By this mail you can take it as my request for billing as well as for change of tariff plan and oblige.

                                      TATA Indicom — bill payment

                                      i hav tata USB net they dont send me bill /sms/mail . they have my mobil no. mail .id every thng
                                      and they cut my conection. in starting they also deliver my sim very late . due to disconection
                                      i my project is not complet or time and my goodwill is effect .

                                      TataIndicom — Bill Problem

                                      Hi,

                                      I have a tataindicom connection which I use for internet connectivity.

                                      My internet usage is normal so I had activated one plan that satisfies my requirement.

                                      The plan was 500 INR gives me 512 MB of internet usage.

                                      First 2-3 month the bill came normal but after that they have sent me a long bill and it says that you have used around 2500 MB.

                                      They also had given customer a software which logs the usage of internet.

                                      That software tells the usage or 700 MB but in the bill shows 2500 MB how this much difference ? The bill was 1, 173.59

                                      After that I have registered a complaint again tataindicom and the response to that complaint came after 20 days. So they have again charged me a late payment of RS. 100. (I was supposed to wait for their response)

                                      After their response they have barred my sim so I could not use internet and they have given full month bill i.e. 552

                                      So the bill comes near about 1800.

                                      Why should I pay this much bill as if I pay the amount they may charge me 5000 bill in next month !

                                      TATA Indicom — Billing of a connection not owned by me

                                      I am being called again and again for payment of Telephone no. 67701122. I have made several requests that the said connection is not owned by me. I use to owe a Tata Indicom number 67654874 which was disconnected subsequently.

                                      Thereafter, I have started receiving the bills for the new number which is not owned by me.

                                      I am being abused continously on phone by the officers of Tata Indicom. I do not understand what the officers are upto.
                                      I received login ID and password through email. my T. Number is [protected] and I used Internet connection. I want to pay payment through net banking.My account number is[protected]. when I entered my new password, I cannot open . Kindly help for loging password.

                                        Two of my employees has received 4 TATA postpaid connections bills. We never applied and didn't signed any form. without verification and without signed form how could anybody activate the sim and where are the sims. It is a froud and we wants u to take action against this. one no is [protected]. rest three nos even we dont know.

                                        TATA Indicom — fraud in data card modem

                                        I purchased a modem, details as per attatched sheet, from your Fort centre.

                                        This modem gave me trouble in accessing web and we contacted your
                                        centre. A service representative was despatched to our residence whose
                                        recommendation was to get this unit to be checked at your authorised
                                        service centre. we carried it to mDR service centre in Chembur on
                                        7/1/09. On 17/1/09 we were returned the modem with various remarks,
                                        one says USB modem faulty motherboard.

                                        I am attatching the report alongwith.

                                        It is since then that I have been to the service centre thrice and
                                        been denied a DO, this being on the recommendations of your centre
                                        and nodal office.

                                        I fail to understand your intentions.

                                        I have been without a modem for last 3 months which has caused me
                                        terrible harassment and unfortunate exposure to your pathetic service
                                        committments owing to your non functional centres.

                                        When I Called the nodal officer I was directed to thier juniors ONLY
                                        and on one specific day, when I called last, I was routed through 4
                                        different nos before I landed back in nodal officer office . In each
                                        case I went through the tiring and useless rigmorale of explaining my
                                        story and details. I wonder if you ever evaluate your service networks
                                        responsiveness to customer.

                                        I require immediate correction

                                        I need immediate replacement of working modem.
                                        deletion of all charges levied to me since December
                                        elasped period not to count in warranrty since the date of complaint

                                        I reserve my rights now as a customer to take appropriate action on
                                        having supplied me a defective modem, causing huge inconveninence and
                                        losses, and being grossly unethical in customer service.

                                        i didnot ask him for any sms servise and they subscribed it on my number without my consent and charged 49rs. from my balance. they r fraud. how can they do it without my orders. now they r not returning my balance. they dont hav any information also regarding this. please help me.

                                        TATA Indicom — fraud with customers

                                        i have purchased photon wizz acc no[protected] and opted for the unlimited usage plan. i was not satisfied with the service of tata. i did not received any bill on time so i decided to close my account. i waz asked to pay 1000 rs to clear my due. i paid the amount and waz told dat my accont will b closed from dat date.but now i have been receiving the call from tata asking me to pay the further amount of 1500.i have not use dat number ever since n m not liable to pay dat amount.its really shoking dat big company like tata also does such kind of fraud with consumers.in future if i continue to receive any call from tata asking me to pay the amount for which i m not liable den i am going to lodge a complaint in consumer forum.
