I have lost my mobile handset with the sim & the number is [protected]

inside a taxi from GOLF GREEN to lake gardens 0n 21/03/2010

I have waited in good faith for the taxi driver to return the handset with sim [protected].

I have lodged a FIR in Jadavpur Police station as well.GDE NO 2004 ON 22/03/2010

In view of the above circumstances I would request you to kindly block the sim on an immediate basis & oblige.

Tata Indicom- prepaid — Not getting sim

I have lost my mobile in the month of July 09.
Aftere following up till 15.09.09 i have not got my number. After visiting all the location of near about and compaining every where I have not getting the sim. Tata people just giving me some address then I visited all the locations but my problem is not solving.
I am having this number since long so i need my lost number.

    Dear Sir,

    This is to make you concern about the trouble I am facing with TATA Indicom after disconnection billing calles.
    My sister Ms. Shomika Sarkar had post paid connection of Tata Indicom mobile ( No was [protected] Account no[protected].
    On 16th January 2010 my sister applied to Vashi tataindicom center to discontinue to post paid service form immediate effect and subsequently we deposited up to date bill amount on that very day. Tataindicom vashi branch acknowledge copy above letter with there signature and stamp. And above phone line got disconnected immediately.
    But surprisingly Tataindicom pepole send a bill form 17/01/2010 to 16/02/2010 to us. If we did not use the mobile for the period of 17/01/2010 to 16/02/2010 and clear all due up to 16/01/2010 and mentioned in disconnection letter, how did the send a bill (no[protected] mention due balance Rs. 533.00 (rupees three hundred ninety eight)?
    Continues call from tataindicom people for made our life miserable.
    So, please do the need full. If you have any query please feel free to call at [protected]

    TATA Indicom — Fake bills

    We are using three TATA Indicom Post Paid numbers in my family from past two years.Earlier we didn't have any problem but now from last six months, the bills generated by them seems to be fake.
    We have received a bill of Rs 10, 000/- in the month of July.I mean how can we use that much while talking only in the same state with the scheme of TATA to TATA free activated at all the numbers.

    I simply want to say that the concerned persons should have a check on this matter to serve the customers better.

      I had booked a tata indicom walky on[protected],i paid 882rupees to one of their executive(Mr.Dinesh,Mob.no.[protected]) by cheque of ICICI bank which was debited from my account on the third day of issue date but still company has not given me any telephone against that.I have that reciept whose no. is WI-0184288 .I called up several times but all in vain,they are not taking any response and creating trouble to me by ignoring my case and calling me in their office again and again.....Its the extreme limit of exploiting the customer since 2005.So,please do me the favour.Thanks (Manu Tripathi [protected])

        We have purchased the Device for internet one month before, the device is not working at all i have raised the complaint through TATA website. Also everyday i am calling but ibody is responding.
        All the money is paind to the sales executive.

        Hi...I have purchased the tata photon plus datacard with a internet speed of 3.1. mbps but i have not got this. i have raised a complaint that i have opted the tarrif in which i should get a speed of 3.1. MBPS. the complaint was attended by the technical person and after his visit i have given my consent with my "DISSATISFACTION" on the customer feedback form signed by me. the same was i have replied on the below mentioned mail which comes from their side after visit. and there also i have given my consent with my total dissatisfaction. after that i never get a call from their side.

            i have purchased a Tata indicom prepaid sim card on 18th feb 2010 and recharged it with 699 tariff. but after 3 days sim card has been blocked and now tata indicom is saying that my form has got rejected because of local refrence but i have given all of that and there distributres had missplaced my form and they have harrased me a much........... so please help me to get out of it.

            My Tata Indicom Prepaid No. is[protected], and my name is Laik Ahmad living in Delhi, My compalain is that when I have buyed My Prepaid Phone they have gave me tarrif as bellow:
            Local : Rs.1/min any mobile
            Local : 1000 T2T free
            STD : Rs. 2.65/Min any other mobile
            and gave 1 Rs. Talktime to call other local Nos. and 1000 Mins for T2T after 4-5 months they have changed my tariff without any intimation now they are charging me Rs. 1.50 /Min for Local Tata to other calls while i have talked in Rs. 1/m earlier when i go to its costomer care they do not help me
            and said that ur tariff was Rs. 1/m from the begining while i have talked savrel mins in just Rs. 1/m nobody helps me in this regards from the side of Tata Indicom
            now i am not recharging my Tata Indicom Prepaid connection and waithing for end of its given one year validity and after that I will disconnect it
            Newer go to Tata I because its Service is such a layer and poor
            dont use Tata

            I Devender Kumar R/o Sultan Puri, New Delhi-86 have purchased a Tata indicom prepaid sim card on 29th Nov. 2014, with a tariff plan of Rs. 92/-. Mobile No. [protected] But still date 10th Dec. 2014 it is not activated when I called in customer care the customer care executive told me that they had not received my document. And also the retailer told me that he send my details to the distributor again the customer care executive told me that the distributor have your document and not submitted yet. After that the retailer told that the document is rejected when I asked for my document he demands me for new document. It is almost 11 days past but still the sim is inactive. I was worried that TATA Indicom have such a big market and telented staff after that it is happened. It harrased me so much... so please it is humbly request that please help me to get out of it.

              Today i got call from tata indicome customer care POOJA [chandigarh telephone No-[protected]/[protected] at 11:04 Am (16 march 2010) from sec 34]. She offer me to activate welcome tune on my prepaid no. [protected].
              i told her activate RADHE RADHE BARSANE WALI RADHE album - BRIJ 84 KOS KI PARIKARMA.
              She told me that she has the above song and i asked for code. she told me WT40004017.

              But in the evening i found wrong welcome tune is activated on my prepaid number.


              Same Problem i am facing second time. last problem was solved in 20 days . after i have complained at NODDALOFFER delhi.

              I know other peoples which are facing same problem.
              Tata indicome customer care Chandigarh. says always lie and activate wrong Value added services to cheat the customer.

                I am receiving so many dump messages from TM-ABMONEY/ TA-ABMONEY since couple of day. Every day i get about 10m messages in the morning through afternoon. Senders numbers is not given, except 56161 to send sms.

                Hello Dr K Chaudhry, I'm Nelson Lobo from Mumbai, I am a victim of the sms messages sent from Tata Indicom numbers, after a little research online I read through your post and decided to write to you. I have been informing and complaining to Vodafone (my service provider) but it does not seem to be helping me, I still receive junk sms messages.
                I would want to know if you found out some solution or nothing seems to be working the way it should have, please suggest something that might be helpful, I appreciate that you read my email and thanks for any help.

                As per rules communicated to me, action for DND offence can be taken against SMS sending number and not against company promoting product or service.                     I have a tata indicom coin box in my shop, Karuvatta south, alappuzha, kerala. two weeks back its speaker damaged. We complainted in mavelikkara regional office, they not attended til this time, every time they delayed our complaints. Last three years we are operating successfully and gain lot profit and give good services to people, because no other PCO's in my place. Lot of people are affecting especially synine people due to the break of the service.

                      On 28 feb 2010, Rs. 30 from my phone balance has been cut and I got the message from 12900 that your voice chat pack has been activated although neither i received any call for activating voice chat pack ( thus it is not possible that i pressed certain button on keypad by mistake and it was activated) nor i sent any SMS to activate this. when i called customer care one customer care executive said that i activated by SMS and when i talked to his senior executive, then he said that i received a call and activated (means dulatity in answer). then i complained in TATA INDICOM centre Sakchi, Jamshedpur, but nothing happened.
                      I was angry because this was 2nd time my money had been cut. first time i received the call and just cut it
                      ( not activated) , but my Rs 10 had been cut.

                      TATA Indicom — wrong prepaid balance

                      i made my prepaid on 29 t aug, 2008, on the same day balance was rs.15 but on 30th aug, 2008 balance was rs.4 only .

                      From the last one year i m using tata prepaid no.My no. is [protected]. but from the last few days i m betrayed and cheated by the tata indicom company.my problem is abt the caller tune service of my number which is activated without my permission on my number& they charged 40 rs. of that but this was ignored but when the one month was going on to complete i got the massage that "your caller tune service will be continue further by deducting 10 rs from ur balance after 18/7/10 & i[censored] want to deactivate the service then u can send massage by typing "DEL" & it to the no. 12828". then i did the same thing. but after the 18/7/10 they deducted 26 rs. from my balance.then i made the contact with the customer care representative she said you typed wrong text that is why the service could not be deactivated on your number.she told me to type "unisub" send it to the 12828.again i did the same. but this was not the end of their corruption , they deduct 10 rs. again from my balance.now i m trying to make them contact but i could not do this so . so i kindly request the concerned person of consumer forum to take the strict action against these corrupt companies.
                      i hope to get the revert soon.

                        Tata Indicom/photon-whiz — Very slow

                        We had a gross cheating in billing from BSNL, so we cancelled the broadband connection. Somebody had recommended Tata Photon-Whiz. We installed by paying about Rs 2000. In one day, we found out the truth about it. The speed they guaranteed and the real speed has no way could be tallied! It is less than 50 in realty but they said its more than 150. Lot of precious time is being wasted. You can click a button and rest for some time!
                        Tata, with all its past glory did not have to cheat people like this. Its a shame! The BSNL has been cheating people for more than 50yrs and the Reliance made billions cheating the innocent; now its Tata.
                        And now better and cheaper internet connections are available for just half the price and truly unlimited services.
                        The cheats must make compensation to their customers and cut off the bills drastically.

                        With respect for the pathetic service provided by TATA INDICOM
                        I have subscribed for
                        Infinity 2.5 Mbps PLUS 2 Mbps 1 Mbps 1 Month Rs 5,000
                        I am having a severe packet drop in my connection .
                        Worst ISP I have ever seen.

                        This company is a total fraud company.They proceeded me speedily through the connection of the line.
                        This people do not have a customer support that can correct the problem.
                        These people are not able to fix the problem from past 2 month.Even talking to the regional manager is of no use.
                        I would like you to take some real action and guide me through a speedy process of either repair or immediate redemption of my money.

                        This is a TOTAL FRAUD COMAPNY, please beware.

                            TATA Indicom — Disconnent the service without prior notification

                            Sir,

                            I had the prepaid service of tata telecom services,which i am used in postpaid for one year.after that i migrate this no. to prepaid 2 months before.yesterday my incoming & outgoing services are disconnected by the service provider without any prior notification.after enquired from custmer care i came to know that this cell no. is disconnected due to non sbmission of identity proof.

                            I m failed to understad tha if there os not any identity proof with them,then how they continue this no. for two months.

                            From TATA side on 11/01/2010 my phone no. permanently disconnect and when I logged the complaint in CC and asked Why you have to disconnect my phone without any priror notice then they said actually we don't know why that phone disconnect and within 48 hours your phone will be activated from our side and till know that phone not activated and still they don't have reason of phone disconnecting and as per my today's conversation they still want 2 days time.                               I am a tata indicom photon plus customer.
                              this is to report that the service is pathetic and more worse than the connection itself.
                              The call center for this service does not seem to be well managed because i have experienced technicians disconnecting the call as soon as they recieve it without even saying anything...

                              as far as the connection is concerned, i have taken a connection which was supposed to give me a speed of 2 - 3 Mbps, but sadly my connection gives me hard1y 100 - 200 kbps with lots of spikes. Very unstable connection.

                              Once i complained they sent a technician and he said that the reception was bad and so he had to talk to a lady from chennai who said that she will route the traffic properly to correct it.
                              for a month after than my connection speed was amazing and it did give me about 1 - 1.5 Mbs which was better than what i had.

                              after a month the same issue has shown up and i cant even get my broadband to connect sometimes.

                              i have already called 13 times to the support number but unfortunately not able to reach someone whom i can talk to as they keep disconnecting the calls......

                              Tata indicom Photon Plus — braudband speed is not good

                              broadband speed is no not 3.1Mbps as per tata indicom information
                              when i have got this connection they told me for we will provide you 1-2 MBPS downloading speed and 500KPS uploading speed anywhere and any time but now i have get only 15 KBPS downlaoding speed and 2 kBPS uplaoding... what is this ..

                              I m out of delhi .. but i m now in khurja (dist-bhulanshare ) means 90 KM left .. so in this mean all promises was wrong ????
                              I have purchased photon 3 months back and it is the same for me i get average speed of 25-35 kbps and i have contacted tata customer care & technical they say this is the only speed thay can give and there is nothing as 3.1 mbps it is only connectivity of the device and max i can get is 60 kbps. I think Tata is cheating on consumers and they dont give any ear to it even TRAI is not looking into the matter and they have given approval for this sort of device.
                              Where from you are accessing this service. khurja doesn't come under photon's coverage area.
                              Speed is really good in coverage area.
                              "TATA IS CHEATING TO ITS CONSUMERS"

                              i have taken a TATA Photon+ connection, in aug 2009, facinated by their Advertisement Claiming speed UpTo 3.1 Mbps, BUT ON ACTUAL USE i find the average speed is about "200 KBPS ONLY, " and sometimes on the maximum it goes to 600-700KBPS, "BUT it lasts ONLY FOR ONE SECOND", so it can NOT be accepted as fast speed, and during surfing sometimes the connection gives you speed of "0 (ZERO)KBPS" for FOUR-FIVE MINUTES.

                              "IT ALSO HAVE THE PROBLEM OF BROKEN CONNECTION" even to post this comment i have to reconnect the connection three times.

                              Talking to customercare is of no use, they only give some settings, but even after applying the settings, PROBLEM REMAIN THE SAME.
                              I am a Tata Photon Plus customer, my account no[protected] my photon plus was not working in the month of Jan'10 I had made several complaints but it wasn't resolved I have all the ticket#s with the agent's name and time as well.Although the internet didn't work throughout the month still they have generated and sent me the bill.I want a strict action to be taken against them.

                              I found there is no balance in my account then I recharge it for Rs. 200. After using hardly 7MB I stopped it but a massage came to my mobile informing me that only 34MB is left in my account. After that again another massage has come in the next day morning that my balance has over where as I haven't used it within this period. I wanted to complain it in a nearby centre but that lady didnt respond me properly just informed me that I have 41MB negative balance. I was shocked. At night I made a phone call to the toll free no. but I was informed that I have 43MB negative balance.                               I'm using a Tata Photon+ (5 GB). It takes more than 30 minutes to watch a 4 minutes long music video on youtube.They claimed it is broadband but it is a trick. Here it very slow.

                              I am Tat photon user and my account number is[protected] and i have problem with the speed where the speed is only about 200-300 kbps which is not for i have paid .I have a been promised that the speed would at least be around 700-1MBPS which i never got initially when i was using the device yes i got the speed for some days and then gave a complaint for slow speed there was a tech who came to my place and then he says that we cannot do anything because this is the maximum speed what you can get and then he said we can install an antenna booster.However he again says that there is no space to install it and then i spoke to the sales GUY from whom i purchased the device he is the Channel sales manager and he kept changing the word that he did not promise anything however to keep you informed that i have a recording of what he spoke and the speed he promised so i kindly inform you to please take care of this or else i might have to go to consumer court with all the proofs.This is a serious concern if incase i dont get any reply from this i am going to escalate it to the higher authorities and also file a case in consumer court.Either you need to get me the speed or get my money back .Because of the false promise what you guys gave.

                                in Dec 2008, I purchase a USB modem with post paid connection. it was working properly up to Sep - Oct 09, but after that it was not working at all. when i connect it , it show that the internet connection connected at 230 kbps, but i could not do any work. despite repeated complain, no action has been taken. so after that I stop the payment. Then in the month of Feb. 10 one person came to me gave me offer that if i paid the bill amount, then he will give me the two month free use of the internet connection. He also assure me regarding the quality of the service. I go with thgis offer & paid the bill amount.
                                But after some days it stop working, I have made several complain but all in vain. Now i feel cheated by Tata Indicom. If any body is there from the company who is listening this.

                                        2. WE WERE TOLD ABOUT THE DOCUMENTATION BY SOME HALF BAKED PERSON NEWLY JOINED THE PLACE THERE WHICH WAS GIVEN IMMEDIATELY AND WE WERE TOLD THAT
                                        AFTER 72 HOURS WE COULD GET THE SAME AND ACTIVATED BY THE TATA INDICOM STAFF WHO WOULD VISIT THE HOUSE AFTER VERFICATION

                                        3. THE DOCUMENTATION COLLECTED WAS NOT ENOUGH SINCE THEY NEEDED THE XEROX COPY OF THE LAPTOP HP COMPUTERISED BARCODE WITHOUT WHICH THEY COULD NOT ACTIVIATE THE SAME. SO TAKING A LEAVE FOR THE DAY I WENT TO GIVE IT THERE TO THEM

                                        4. AFTER WHICH NEARLY FOR 3 DAYS NO NEWS OF ANY DEVELOPMENT, I WAS CONVEYED THAT ITS ARRIVED. I DID NOT COLLECT IT THAT DAY .

                                        5. A PERSON WHO CAME TO MY HOUSE WITHOUT VERIFYING WHETHER I HAVE RECD IT OR NOT CAME TO MY HOUSE FOR VERIFICATION , WROTE SOMETHING AND DISAPPERED IN THE BLIES. I WAS TOLD THAT THERE IS ONE IMRAN KHAN WHO IS HANDLING THE SCHEDULING OF THESE VISITS AND SO I CONTACTED HIM, HE SAID THAT HE IS VERY BUSY AND WILL HAVE TO DO THE NEEDFUL ONLY NEXT DAY ON 24TH WHICH HE SAID WILL SEND A PERSON HERE AT
                                        200 BEFORE LUNCH FOR WHICH I HAD TO TAKE A LEAVE AND SIT AT HOME. HE DID NOT TURN UP. WHEN I CALLED HIM HE SAID THAT HE HAD DONE HIS JOB AND IS NOT CONCERNED ABOUT THE VERFICATION. HIS JOB IS ONLY TO ENSURE THAT CARD REACHES ME AT THE VENDOR SHOP.IMRAN SAYS TWICE PERSON CAME TO OUR HOUSE WHICH IS WRONG AND HE IS LYING HE HAD COME ONLY ONCE AND THAT TOO WITHOUT ANYCALLS MADE TO FIND OUT WHETHER THE USB CARD HAS REACHED OR NOT !

                                        6.THE NEXT DAY 25 AND 26 TH ALSO WENT THE SAME WAY AND THERE WAS NO RESPONSE FROM NEITHER THE LAID BACK VENDORS WHO WERE ONLY CITING PROCEDURES AND RULES
                                        AND IMRAN WHO WAS CITING THEIR AUTOMATED SYSTEM OF SCHEDULING THE DELIVERIES AND ACTIVATION.

                                        7. TODATE ITS NOT DONE , AND WHENEVER IMRAN IS CONTACTED HE DOES NOT KNOW WHATS HAPPENING SAYING THAT HE HAS DONE HIS DUTY AND CANNOT DO ANYTHING FURTHER WHEN I ASKED HIM ABOUT WHOM TO NEXT CALL UP AND ASK, HE HAD NO ANSWER
                                        AND WAS TRYING TO TRANSFER HIS MOBILE CALL SOME WHERE ELSE. GOT DISCONNECTED
                                        AND AGAIN WHEN CALLED HAD KEPT HIS MOBILE SWITCHED. THE VENDOR OF PC IS LEAST BOTHERED ABOUT ALL THESE.

                                        FIRST OF ALL
                                        1. LET US NOT BE AT THE MERCY OF THESE PEOPLE . ONCE DOCUMENTATION HAS BEEN RECD LET IT CARD BE SELF ACTIVATED ON ITS OWN WITHOUT THE VISIT AND THEIR VISIT MATTERING THE ACTIVATION. IHAVE GONE THROUGH A LOT OF INCONVENENCE AND TRAUMA AND IRRITATION .

                                        2.THE STAFF OF TATA INDICOM SHOULD BE GROOMED TO SEE TO IT THAT THEY DELIVER THE PRODUCTS AND NOT TO EXPLAIN US THAT ITS NOT THEIR JOB AND ELSES. I CANNOT GO TO THE MD OF THE TATA INDICOM FOR THIS IF EACH AND EVERY STAFF OF YOURS IS LIKE IMRAN KHAN THE GREAT ...WHY EMPLOY SUCH PEOPLE WHO DO NOT CONSIDER CLIENT SATISFACTION. ?

                                        3. MAKE YOUR HP DEALER ALSO INTERACTIVE AND MAKE THEM ACCOUNTABLE TO HELP WITH THE AFTER SALES SERVICE WHO HAVE A LAID BACK ATTITUDE AND KEEP CITING RULES AND PROCEDURES LIKE YOUR STAFF.

                                        PLS DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE SAME AND HAVE IT INSTALLED I DO N OT KNOW WHOM TO APPROACH SINCE BOTH THE HP AUTORISED VENDOR OF LAPTOP AS WELL AS THE SUPPOSED TO BE INTERACTING TATA INDICOM PERSONS ARE USELESS TO ME.

                                        This is with reference to the Tata Photon Plus service, the person had installed the data card properly but there is a problem it is getting disconnectd in every few seconds, and i am using this on my laptop, the same device when i am using it in my office it is suporting but the same device is not supporting me at my home, even i tried to use the device on my friends laptop there it worked but not my laptop i humbly request you to please give me a contact number of some engineers in your firm who can help me to combat my problem .
                                        Completely fraud.. Tata Photon + is a shame for Tata company.. distributors are fraud ... irritating customer service.. Complaints in the customer service are not entertained at all.. escalation cannot be done as they do not have any clue on how to escalate..

                                        Only single word is fraud for them, I consider myself lucky to have learnt the lesson to not to deal with Tata anymore in just 2600 Rs.. yes 2600 Rs is what they do the fraud for, , shameless people at Tata photon+ make fools out of innocent customers..

                                        I had an old account and was requested to be closed in October by my company.

                                        We had to get a new device because of compatibility issues.

                                        However the old bill still gets generated and its is 5 months now since it is happening.

                                        I have been getting calls from personnel from TATA indicom calling my residence and haressing my family for the payment of the bill for this account.

                                        I have had a recovery agent coming over to my office in my abscence.

                                        This is highly depressing.

                                        After numerous follow ups and email exchanges since october this is a pathetic case.

                                        Tata teleservices for tata Photon plus — non activation

                                        I have purchase the Tata photon plus Data card from one of their dealer namely Virit Infotect Pvt Ltd. sector 63 Noida after paying the Rs. 1400/- . I filled up the form and handed over all the documents to them. He promise to get this data card activated within 2 hours. This card was not activated and when we made the calls on the telephone no. which they provide to me were found the fake. There was no response. I have contacted the customer care but no response. Today i received the call from Mr. Rashid Khan telling himself a representative from Tata teleservices he also assured me that today you will receive the call and then will get activated. But nothing moved ahead. Then i contacted the customer care who gave me shocking news that there are no documents available and you submit again. This is not only a harassment but a cheating on the part of dealer and company is a mute spectator rather permoting that dealer. Still my Data card has not been activated with no fault of mine and where my documents has gone which can be misused. The company is fully responsible for the commissions and ommissions of the dealer and look in to this matter and fix up the responsibility to take the stern action against the dealer. Kindly look in to this matter to represent on my behalf. Thanks
