I am facing issue with the Tata sky connection. Saying no network. I called customer care and they started telling me charges first instead checking details about complaint and issue. Secondly i told i am ok with the charges they gave a complaint number E4btu3m. I checked when the enginer will be visiting, they informed at around 11:00 am next day so took second shift in my office and waited till 1:00 and no body turned up. 2nd day i got a call and confirmed that enginer will come by 4:00, i told 4:00 is not ok as i go to office and requested to send some one in morning or saturday. No body turned up and no one did a followup till date. Customer care is pathetic. Second i am got irritated with Tata sky connection as when ever it rain signal goes off. when it rains all are at home and would like to watch movie at that time network goes down and no TV. Please review this and give proper justice to customer.

Dear Sirs,
1. I am Maj Gen PS Paul (Retd) and I had purchased a TATASKY DTH connection for my aged mother Smt ILA SHREE PAUL, aged 84 years who lives alone in her flat in Kolkata. The Consumer No is [protected] and was installed in Feb 2015. She has paid Rs1300/- for her pack of Bengali channels and selected few channels as permitted. The validity is till 31 Oct 15 and account balance shows Rs 286/-.
2. She has been experiencing poor connectivity and despite her and my repeated efforts to contact Customer Care in mobile we have so far been unsuccessful for last few days - and I though Customer Care was 24 hours service !!! The recorded response is always " Our customer care lines are busy, wait for 10 mins; or press 1 and we shall get back to you'! This complaint is being sent to express our disgust in the manner which is beyond description. I at least did not expect a TATA service to give me such a response. When its about payment of subscription numerous messages are originated to remind us of our dues, sadly its only one way...
3. Talking about services and identifying with customer needs, my impression was that TATA was the benchmark. Sadly its disproving itself and sinking into the inefficiency of the Indian "Mennu Ki?" syndrome... how it affects an aged senior citizen whose life revolves around information and entertainment which reaches her within the confines of her four walls is not appreciated, or easily forgotten with the closing of the door. I have no other option now but to look for alternate companies for DTH connections. While these other agencies may not be as efficient, the knowledge that they are small time players would ease the frustration of poor services. And I have no doubt that such indifference to customer services will take its toll sooner than later.

    Sir - I Ram Kishor (KISHOR ELECTRONICS) honourly request you to take this matter on priority. On. 07/06/2014. I (KISHOR ELECTRONICS - Tata sky delar ID 3618949 mob. No. [protected]) booked a new connection Dated 07/06/2014 on the name of Mr. Sharad Bajpai at the below Address - CI site 2nd pankee industriyal Area kanpur with - Customer ID-[protected], after Activation of kit Rs.999 + FRC of Rs.821. The installer of Tata sky went to the above customer Address and rejected the site because of singnal problem and cancelled the connection. Later on Mr. Sharad Bajpai (customer) told me that the installer has cancel my connection. On 07/06/2014. I Called my Distributor J.J. Electronics. Kanpur Manager name - Suneel Pandey and ( Salesman - Sumit Bajpai ) about cancellation & given the complete detail vourbelly and SMS as asked by him so that he can refund the money as early as possible . And they told me that the refund will be maid in your EVD Account within a week. Upto 14/06/2014. I could not recieve the refund So I made the call to Tata Sky callcenter toll free [protected] and told my all problem & the operator told me that your request is submitted to Tata sky and your request no. is - 1-[protected] and the case will be solved with in seven days. but sofor nothing has been done by Tata sky D2H company & Distributor point J.J. Electronics Kanpur. On the same customer ID (Mr. Sharad bajapi ) of the ATM of Rs. 100 was given to me after booking. But when the request ID was generated by the company it was reimbersed by the Tata sky D2H company with in a short period (3 or 4 days ). But my FRC Amount 821 & Activation Kit MRP.999 is yet pending & no refund is made. Again on 17/07/2014. I made the call & ask about the outcome of my request (No-1-[protected]). The operater listened me carefully and for warded my same request no to high athority and told me that a company call will be generated with in 24 hours to you and the matter will be solved. On 19/07/2014 when I did not recieve the call by the company I made the call again and ask about my matter giving reference of my request no.(1-[protected]) the operator or athority told that we can not do any thing at our point this is the matter or problem between you & the Distributor point J.J. Electronics. Today (19/07/2014) i call back to Salesman Mr. Sumit Bajpai & asked about FRC of Rs.821 refund + Kit MRP.999 said to him that I will make the complain through LEGAL notice / Consumer Complaints / RTI and then he Told Me "JO KUTCH KARNA HAI KAR LO KUTCH NAHI KAR PAOGE ". So i kindly request the Tata sky D2H Authority or company to refund my above said amount by cheque also request withdraw the demos provided by the company after refunding the demo amount of Rs.2000 (Two Demo). Because as per the company/Distributor rule - (verbally) that you have to buy five pcs THK Kit Rs.999 with in three months for each Demo as per the instruction each demo requires 20 pcs Kit Rs.999 MRP for continuation of 12 months which requires THK kit 40 pcs MRP Rs.999or MRP Rs. 599 in one year for two demos whereas i activated or booked 72 pcs THK kit MRP Rs. 999 dated from 11/3/2013 to 22/6/2014, still my demos are shutdown by the tata sky company . And Distributor J.J. ELECTRONICS is asking to buy 10 pcs THK Kit MRP Rs. 999 for activation two demos which is unjustified. So i request to close Tata Sky counter at my Kishore Electronics Naubasta Kanpur and refund my demoes ammount of Rs 2000, FRC Rs. 821, THK Kit MRP Rs. 999, and also refund the ammount of two sheild pack THK Kit MRP Rs. 999n which are still held by me . So i honourly request Consumer Complaint Forum to look into matter/ problem and do the favour to me as the TATA SKY D2H company and distributor J.J. ELECTRONICS are not listening to me .       I entered the details online and went ahead with the online purchase and paid using the net banking. The real drama started when the technical guys came to visit my apartment, they said because of technical challenge they can't install the equipment.

      So we raised the request for refund, then the other great drama started, the customer service department ask only two questions
      1. Subscriber ID(which I would have only received, if I had the SET-TOP BOX which I don't have)
      2. They ask for registered mobile number (which I didn't have because I don't have set-top box).

      and today what I am left is BABA JI ka THULU...
      Tata Sky customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
      TATA-sky don't even deserve a 1 star also.
      Last week somebody called me and asked for a bank statement, which I provided relgiously also, but again no response.

          I wanted my change channel plan Last 8 month but Tata sky not change my channel plans. So i am contact tata sky help line member for 3-4.date[protected] tata sky member call me and told me that change into hindi channel plan but you recharge Rs. 1210 for one year before date[protected]. after this information i racharge my id [protected] Rs.1210 date[protected] time2.50 . and message me on my registered n.               Dear Sir / Madam, Subscriber ID: [protected] or [protected] whatever! I purchased tatasky in the month of may from their online portal. the package I chose was Tatasky HD+ with Karaoke. the package cost was 14601 and I paid extra 500 for south channels. So I was supposed to get Tatasky HD+ set top box + Annual Mega HD pack + Karaoke + some freebies which are worthless (can verify from their website). The installation was done quickly, and picture quality if fine, but Greedy Tatasky itself is a problem!!!. The next day a representative came to my home and gave VOD dongle (which I have not requested) when I was not in house, he told it cost some 300 Rs. I thought it is OK, I will [protected] it of, why call him and return the dongle. But after that I get a message that my account balance is -1100 Rs. I was surprised and called their customer service (extremely bad, no knowledge of what so ever about tatasky), and I was told it is for VOD+Service Visit+Karaoke. Is this a joke. When I was buying the representative promised few things: that if I have Annual Mega HD pack, I automatically become a premium member, so no service visit charges and when I call I don't have to go through IVR. both not happening. I am supposed to get Karaoke (this feature is not very good-it lags) Free but they are charging for that also. And following are the complaint numbers. 1-[protected], 1-[protected], 1-[protected], 1-[protected], 1-[protected]. Surprisingly they send a mail saying your problem is resolved and they tried to contact me on my phone and are not getting through, but still my account statement shows same. Dr Chandan S N

                I purchased Tatasky HD + connection under Cash on Delivery Scheme costing Rs 9150/-.Package includes Tatsky connection+HD connection+Mic, annual karaoke subs, standard activation, 1 month free grand sports pack, 1 month free HD activation and Rs 225/- in Tatasky running acct.Equipment was installed on 9 Jul 2014 and I made cash payment of Rs 9600/-( 9150 +300 for wifi dongle+150 for additional cable). My connection was activated on the same day. On 13 Jul at about 8 AM my connection was de-activated with a message flashing on the screen that my Tatasky acct is in debit of Rs 935/- and I must charge my acct to watch TV.I rang up Customer care and explained that just four days back I had purchased the connection and made all the payment in cash for Grand Sport pack for one month.I was informed that my complaint has been noted and will be resolved shortly.I approached the cutomer care many times.Every time I was told that core team shall resolve my complaint shortly.It is now almost four days since my connection was de-activated and no action has been taken to activate my connection till now.My subscription id is [protected].My complaint number at Tatasky Customer care is 1-[protected].

                      I have bought a new TataSky HD connection at Rajkot (Gujarat). I have paid more charges than actual charges to connection dealer. Well that is not an issue. After i purchase i had called local dealer, customer care helpline of tata sky, senior executive of tata sky helpline. They have given me time of installation and they have done half of the installation. USB Dongle for Video on demand they didnt give me and they kept on giving me time after time. And after 2 days i have filed a complaint in customer care of tata sky, i was very disappointed with their answers. Every time they make some nonsense excuses and tell me that we will call you in 2 hours. No one calls and no one comes. Local dealer doesnt peak up the phone and talks rudely as if like i am asking for what i dont know. I have purchased tatasky after paying 7000 so its my right to watch. Still after 3 days i am waiting for installation of set top box after paying 7000 rs. I would not suggest TATASKY in RAJKOT at least. Worst service WORST EXPERIENCE.

                        I am Subscriber ID : [protected], Devendra Verma would like your kind attention that I have requested my subscription for disconeection and for refund of my rest of annual payment along with deduction of amount 200/- twice and the June month's monthly amount.I am not able to see tatasky service from 2nd of June 2014.                             Respected Sir, I am Oldest consumer of Tatasky Having ID- [protected], As type Standard, with Dhamal mix package in offer for Life long on Rs. 125/- PM, few days back I & family relocate to Bhiwandi from Thane. while taking reconnection with tatasky I have purely cleared with department I have lost my STB (set top box) want another box with existing ID on my New address. Then they replied me we are unable to so, go for secondary connection then swap it & deactivate your secondary connection. Your previous offer will be continued. Now the Tatasky says we are unable to continue this offer & they have wrongly charge me for various type I won't understand that which kind of charge are this.                               iam not able to view the channels for more than 1 day now .inspite of repeated complaints through tollfree no no action was taken. iam sorry to say that tatasky connection is the worst in india. at ur end if action not taken take away the set up box and refund our money ours is hard earned money we dont cheat people.

                              My Subscriber ID is [protected]. I have not been able to view TATASKY services from 11th March 2015. I read online that TATASKY is upgrading their services and that could cause the issue. However there was no official communication from TATASKY on this issue. Also when i call the customer care, the IVR mentions that if you are not able to view TATASKY services, please send an SMS "NS" to 56633. I did that and got a work order No.H53U33J and that someone will contact me in 2 working HOURS. Its been two days but no one contacted me yet. I also raised a complaint online. The complaint number is SR[protected] and that someone will respond to me in 24 hours. Its already been 24 hours but no one responded yet. When I try to open a CHAT via the ONLINE CHAT facility on TATASKY website, it automatically closes. There has been no way for me to get in touch with at least one representative to get my grievance addressed.
                              Appreciate if this can be addressed at the earliest.

                                I lived for 5 years in London and have seen how DTH works there efficiently and most competitive. I am an old customer (6-7 years) of tata sky, initially their service was good, their cable wire was of better quality. Of late things as expected changed from bad to worse. Mainly 3 issues: 1. non-replacement of defective HD setup box: Just before their warranty period expired, HD set up box stopped working for HD images, when complained some guy came and temporarily repaired and he said in case it develops any problem again he will replace it. Unfortunately within a fortnight it had the same problem, now tata sky says guaranty period expired hence NO REPLACEMENT 2.somebody called us for everywhere tv last month and we told them NO, but today to my surprise, tatasky is deducting money on a daily basis. When requested them to de activate it, they say a cancellation policy of min. 3 months and I have to pay till then, which I flatly refused, hence complaining. Even now I am not confident that somebody will rectify these, just to looking for a shoulder to cry on. I strongly believe that only a Hitler can save this country and would love to shoot all these robbers on sight.

                                  Dear Sir/Madam, Most humbly and Respectfully, I wish to inform you that on my Tata sky subscriber id [protected]. I am frequently facing Picture frizzing problem, poor/dull picture quality, indicator issue in set top box, low signal and strength quality also from more that 15 days and from 20 June, 2014 facing screen blue issue and still persisting. I am unable to watch television from 20 June, 2014. Few Tata sky work order number is - DS0DQ99, DETOPB3, DLSIOLW, and DMLPE6N. On the other hand I also want to draw your kind attention towards Tata sky Installer Behavior and service center manager behavior with me. On 22 Jan, 2013 Tata sky service center manager behaved very cheaply and giving me threatening at that time in bad manners. On 1st Feb, 2014 Tata sky disconnected my connection without any notification for 2-3 days. On 26 Feb, 2014 your installer named Ganesh Baraik behaved rudely and says abusive language to me. On dated 11 June, 2014 Tata sky installer named Gauri Shankar told me that we simply rectified your issue but you have informed higher authority of Tata sky. On 1st Feb, 2014 Tata sky disconnected my connection without any notification for 3 days. Regarding all these issue I have also informed timely to Tata sky service In-charge named (Mr.Janardan) in Ranch, Jharkhand but no improvement and as it is still persist. On 19 June, 2014 I got a call at Tata sky end from [protected] and told me that we will charge Rs.150 for visit and your set box will not covered warranty but sir my Tata sky connection is in annual service commitment and on Tata sky official site very clearly mentioned that set top box will cover in ASC and no visit charges also. This is clearly showing that Tata sky is not following his policy and making full to public. These all clearly showing that how Tata sky services is extremely cheap and worst. Field executive officer of Tata sky behavior is worst whose name is mentioned above. In India why these branded company is doing/behaving in bad manners with customer? Because one is only a common man who is using his company product. Shame on such type of brand. Consumer has also got some rights in constitution of India to fight against them. Therefore, I kindly request you to take extremely against M/s Tata Sky Ltd. and provide me compensation of Rs.1500 for all such activates which happened with me and refund of Tata sky connection including subscription. For this I will be highly great full to you.

                                    Good Evening Sir, While going through my account statements from January 2014 onwards I noticed that I have been charged for some additional channels which were never ordered by me. Details of excess charges (for 2014) are as follows: 1/1/14 Sony Mix for the period (01-Dec-13 to 31-Dec-13) 8.06 1/2/14 Sony Mix for the period (01-Jan-14 to 31-Jan-14) 8.06 1/3/14 Active Vedic Maths for the period (08-Feb-14 to 28-Feb-14) 105.00 1/3/14 Sony Mix for the period (01-Feb-14 to 28-Feb-14) 7.28 1/4/14 Active Vedic Maths for the period (01-Mar-14 to 11-Mar-14) 55.00 1/4/14 Sony Mix for the period (01-Mar-14 to 09-Mar-14) 2.34 Total Overcharged Rs. 185.74 Also Tata Sky is not allowing me access to check my account statements from Jan 2013 to Dec. 2013 on their website (Or some other means) to ensure that I have been charged correctly. I once faced an issue where I paid for the package amount but my account was de-activated. I tweeted regarding this complaint and tata sky immediately responded to my tweet. All I had to do is submit my subscriber ID. The customer service team instantly gave a callback and my account was activated. I suggest you too should provide your subscriber ID either here or tweet regarding your issue with this complaint link. I am sure they will look into your matter, drop the packages that you did not opt for and reimburse the amount deducted.
