i am vaibhav from jaipur rajasthan i have a connection of tata sky in this connection the tata sky service provider automatic activated active music service and when i am call to customer care they tell this service doesnt deactivated till 19 nov 2014 and this service is lock in period my request is this to deactivate my active music service and refund my 35 rs otherwise i am go for other dth provider

    Whenever I connect to customer care with my land line [protected], they ask me are we speaking with D Raja Reddy (ID [protected]/Mobile [protected]/Land line [protected]). In spite several occasions to rectify the wrong persons name or to terminate my subscription duly refunding my available credit, these bluffers simply Ignore, wonder why!, Now I not only believe but certain that the organisation and setup TATA SKY is being run by a DUFFER!!!.       I have paid Rs 7250 on June 16th, 2014 at 10:47am. I was told that I'll get a call for installation within 24 hours. I was pleasantly surprised to get a call at 12:30pm informing me that a technician will come visit my premises at 4pm for the installation. I reached home from my office at 4pm and waited till 6pm. When I called the customer care department, I was told that I should wait for a little while more and that the installation will definitely be completed on 16th June. Nothing happened till 8pm. Another customer care executive promised me that I'll get a call from the technician before 11:30am on June 17th. Very much within the time, I got a call at 11:25 from a technician who quoted a WO number and told me he'll visit my premises at 4-5pm. Slightly shaken from the wait a day before, I asked him to be precise about the time - whether it's 4 or 5pm. And he confirmed that he'll be here at 5pm. At 4:30pm, I asked him again whether he's coming and he promised that he has already left for my place and will be here by 5pm. After waiting till 5pm, I called up the technician and found his phone to be switched off. A customer care executive told me that my WO has been scheduled at 5:30pm, so the technician couldn't have come at 5pm and that I should wait till 5:30pm. Sure enough 5:30pm passed and upon calling the customer care department again, I was told to wait till 6pm. I asked them if they can contact the on-field staff and give me an update; they again expressed their inability to contact them but assured me that it'll be done today. 6pm came and passed. I called again and listened to their assurances. Finally, at 6:30, I asked them to refund my money. Then I got the gem of a response from the customer care department of a corporate organization: "aapko aaj-kal mein call aa jayega" (You'll get a call today or tomorrow.) On asking whether it'll be today or tomorrow, I was told that the due date on my complaint would be 19th June and I'll get a call by then. At this point, the customer care executive still insisted that I shouldn't go for a refund and that the installation will happen today at any rate. Since I was not satisfied, my call was transferred to his senior department who promised me that the installation will happen on the morning of June 18th. Throughout my conversation with the TATA SKY customer care department, this was the only person who told me honestly that this installation won't happen today. I just don't understand why everyone else kept saying even at 7:30pm that the installation will be completed today at any cost. During all this, I tried to file my complaint online and the login form for the complaint told me very politely that since my id has not been activated, I can't login to log the complaint which is what has brought me here.

        TATA SKY connection was taken on 16 Apr 14 with 2 month free connection. On 03 Jun 14 TATA SKY started HD Access and started charging for the same without any request from my side. On repeatedly contacting them, there has been no response from them except "Someone will get back to you"

          I had taken TATA SKY HD from ABHIKARTA ELECTRICALS, NAWANAGAR, DISTT-SINGRAULI(M.P.)Mo.No. [protected] on 21.05.2014.After few days "no signal" problem arises frequently.When complaint was given to the shop he did not bother to attend the problem. Ultimately after complaining to tata sky customer care, they attended the problem and rectify the same. Technician told that wrong cable/sub standard cable has been supplied which is giving the problem.Till date cable has not been changed by the shop nor by the TATA SKY which is absolutely free along with the product.

              I am a Premium Club subscriber (Subscriber No.[protected] )of Tata Sky DTH services. Since the afternoon of 10.6.2014 my TataSky+ Digicomp stopped receiving signals and I was not able to view any program on my TV. I made a complaint to the helpline and they sent a technician the next day. The technician informed us that one of the ports at the Dish Antennae at the terrace need to be replaced and it would cost us Rs.900/- to have the same replaced. Now according to the subscriber agreement only the Digicomp and the remote have a warranty of 1 year and subsequently if there is a problem then the cost of replacing any part is to be borne by the customer. There is no mention of the Dish Antenna. My understanding is that the Dish Antenna is the property of Tata Sky and hence it is the responsibility of Tata Sky to maintain it if any problem were to arise. When I raised this issue with TataSky on e-mail, they are simply not responding properly and are asking me to renew my subscription which is valid till 14.7.2014 which is more than a month away. Can you please confirm if I have a case here against Tata Sky.

We have complaint several times & we received only promises & assurance, Nothing else. NOBODY visited our site since then. Sir, we have tired. if you cannot give services, please disconnect our connection. If you want, then please refund our hard earned money.

                        I got a call from tata sky customer care.He fraudently told me that your old set top box will not work now because company is closing its service to this box.Now you will have to change it by a new hd box by paying rs990 only.Then i agreed and technician call me to come, i wait 2 days but he didn't come . My account balance was deducted then i recharge it, finally i requested for amount refund, i had called more than 10 times but my amount still not deducted, i am a tata sky customer from last 10 years so please refund my amount so i could watch my tv.

                          I got a call from tata sky customer care.He fraudently told me that your old set top box will not work now because company is closing its service to this box.Now you will have to change it by a new hd box by paying rs.590 only.Then i agreed and technician came to my home same day and replaced it.But this hd box is not working well as my old box was working.I complained it to the customer care but no attention and care was paid to it.I want my old set top box.

                            Sir, I am disappointed with the service provided by Tata sky. The problem is unsolved since channel are disturbed badly No action has since been taken up till now to rectify the dish. The HD and some other channels are disturbed as need to be rectified. Tata sky concerned staff are simply fooling customers by giving time schedule. No proper service is being provided within schedule. However, there is no system to tackle the situation by the tata sky technicians. They are taking work very casually and unable to solve the problem. Hopeless service. I will not recommend any one to go for tata sky as fresh connection. The after sale service of tata sky is very poor. A.K.Khanna

                              I have requested for HD set box on 7 June 2014. I have made advance payment for service. I have already made payment for set top box. Customer care Tata Sky have said your current set top box is MPEG2 box, they request you to upgrade it to MPEG 4 /HD set top box and. For upgradation the customer need to pay.I had requested Tata Sky customer care to provide details of Grievance Redressal cell. But. they are not providing any details. I have taken this connection in Mumbai and after disastrous accident I had to relocate and unable to use the same, but now I am relocated in Kolkata and my New Address is 83 Bidhhan Palli, Naktala, Near Geetanjali Metro Station Kolkata - 84, I had raise a request for relocation & re installation on Saturday 07th of June 2014 over your Customer Care and specified that I have time on Sunday only, and get confirmation that on Sunday by 11am Technician would visit for the same, but till that time no call no technician visit at my place, again I called up to the customer care and they told me that within 2 hours you will receive the call from our side, and surely I received the call at 11.45am but your service center executive told me that they have already book all the slot for the day and its not possible for today after lots of request she confirmed me that by 6pm it will be done but again it was not done again I called up to the customer care and they told me that your scheduled assigned from 6pm to 10.45pm, please wait if not done than do call us, but nothing happened and I had to postponed all my prior commitments, again on 9th June Monday morning I received the call and again the same story that today all slot is full kindly take the slot for Tuesday and again explaining the situation she confirmed for 6pm Monday and take their Technician over con call for location verification and he informed me that he will visit at 6pm, I had to left my Office at 5pm for the same, but while till 8pm I have not receive neither any call nor visit I called up to the customer care and lodge the complain your senior customer care executive assure me the action will be taken and your Installation will be donne after that within an hour I had received a call from Service center that their executive is trying continuously over my registered no but they are unable to contact me, and how ridiculous this excuse is? At the time of my relocation request I had clearly mention my Kolkata new contact no. [protected] and alternate no [protected] and inform that my previous registerd no is closed also request for change of my no but customer care told me that recently your account is deactivated and first let it be active then we will update the same, then my question is why their executive trying my old no ispite they had talk with me on my local kolkata no, apart from that after confirm from their executive he called me again and told me that within half an hour executive will visit at my place but till morning no one came, today after noon again I have receive the call from the same person and service center and they told me that technicial will visit and technician confirm the address also, while he was suppose to visit Mr. Brijesh Chowdher - [protected] called me and confirm the address I had directed him the way and but do not now what was the proble with the guy kind of language he was using and seemed very much Frustrated and sometime used Abusive language also. If anyone residing in Bengal and speaking Hindi means not that he is not able to understand the Bengali also, here I would like to mention that I belong to Kolkata from almost 8-9 years, after all this he visit my house and told that your address pin code is wrong so I will not do the same, when I take him on concall with the service center supervisor again he was not able to here him properly and using the same Bengali Abusive Language.

                                Its Pathetic kind of service I am facing from TATA Sky, I can not believe this is the same company which I had used in Mumbai sometime back, I am also in service industry and work with MERCEDES BENZ as a Senior Manager, but never seen that any of my executive use loud talk also with our clients.

                                After all this Mental Harashment and Insult which I had faced my installation is not done till now, and now I am going to file a case in Consumer form for this penalty.

                                  I bought Tata sky new installation by paying the full amount online through their website . Tata Sky assured me the installation within 24 hours but now more than 5 days passed and no one has contacted for the device installation till now. Every time i contacted the customer care of Tata sky, they are giving false promises that installation will be initiated soon but there has been no update from the company. Just by getting full amount from customer before installation, the company is not bothered about delivery to customer. I am still waiting for any response from the company as all my requests are falling on deaf ears.

                                    Sir/Madam, My Tatasky is having "No signal problem" from 30th May onwards. I lodged an online complaint on 1st June (Service request reference number SR[protected] but nothing gone OK. Next day I talked to Customer Care Representative and he told to resolve the issue within 24 hours but nothing done. I again lodged an online complaint on 3rd June (Service request reference number SR[protected] and got an email that a techinal expert will come on 5th June, 4:50 pm to resolve the issue but no one came. So at 5th June evening I again called the Customer Care and they replied that next day someone will talk to me at around 11 am and then the issue will be resolved by the arrival of the technical expert. But again no one arrived and its 6th June today. If you are not able to resolve my complaint then please tell me there are lot of other DTH service providers, i will think over them but don't fool customer by deducting balance inspite of not providing the service.                                       MySelf Sanjay Chauhan is a consumer of TATA SKY DTH having subscribe id -[protected], relocated dish some other place on 1st JUNE. Installer came on my request and set the dish but i was unable to watch all channels mentioned in my package. I told this matter to installer at the same time and he replied there is a problem in dish so you can not see all channels. Solution he told to change the dish. Then feedback call I got from TATA SKY I told this whole matter and he replied we are taking complaint and installer will come your place again to resolve. Rs. 200 was deducted as a re installation charge. On 4th June installer came again and he set the dish properly and with the same dish i was able to watch all channels. But now again Rs.150 had been deducted. I called TATA SKY and explained all matter but in reply they had shown arrogance and replied we can not do anything if you want you can go consumer forum. So am I writing this complaint with the hope that at least here my matter will be understand by your concern and resolve as soon as possible.

                                        I raised a complaint for my HD+ box error on[protected]. they said they do not have set top box to replace. Its already 6 days passed we are unable to watch tv and still they do not have box. I am from Bathinda Punjab mean to say not from rural or remote area. it is 5th corporation city of Punjab and tata sky does not have set top box in my city. i am wondering what else tata sky has to offer customers.                                         Tata Sky customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                        You must also try other sources of contacting Tata Sky to ensure your work gets done. You can address your complaint to tata sky’s official handle @tatasky. They will arrange for a callback and assist you accordingly or you can contact Tata Sky customer service. They are quite prompt in their reply and will help you out. It is more effective way of getting your work done. You can write to them at [protected]@tatasky.com or call their Toll Free Number at[protected]. The best part is it is available 24X7. I am sure they will look into your matter and expedite replacement of your set top box.
                                        After recharge on 26.2 15 not getting channels active. I have called 4 times in customer care and they are miss-communicating me to have call within 2 Hrs by your service engineer. Once anybody called but not came. For the same 3 times more i logged complaint in customer care but still no response from vadodara service devision. Nobody is picking phone. Still we are blank for last more than 1 week. Further we are not willing to take tatasky service and forced to go for new other brand connection. For your reference my Tatasky id no is [protected].

                                        I had complained about no signals in my set top box about two weeks back and so far it has not been rectified. I had received an SMS last night around 23.00 (11 pm) that the technician visit is allotted around 23.05- 23.50. Which company sends technicians at the middle of the night. Within the next 5 mins received another SMS saying the problem has been rectified. Yet no signals. Looks like Tatasky is taking its customers for granted. Unhappy with the service tatasky offers. Would like to escalate this issue.
                                        Can't view any channels since 11 days and being given fake promises since 7 days stating that there will be a technician visiting from their side but nobody has come yet. They text about appointments being confirmed but i receive a cancellation msg stating the problem is solved even though it isn't and they say there is no technician visit appointment booked on the account. They have been saying such lies coninuously since the past 5-6 days. please look into the matter asap and do the needed. thanks...
                                        We are facing a no signal problem for the past 10 days. We called the customer care and asked for a solution. They sent an engineer for the service. He told the problem is with our electrician and told that he will come the next day in presence of our electrician. We called him about 20 times but he didn't return the call. He has since then telling us he will can the next day, at night etc. but has not come for service the 2nd time. He does not answer our calls too.
