The problem started when I decided to disconnect my net connection in April . Till then there had been intermittent discontinuation in internet, and I have had to face several issues.
Finally I had mailed TIKONA on April 21st 2015 about my wish to disconnect since used net on only my phone and did not require a separate broadband for that. I had paid the bill in advance till my billing cycle (closing 25th April 2015).
No one got back to me. After 25th April, I started writing several mails
(April 27th, 28th etc).
I got a on 29th April stating the following :

Service Request Number 1-[protected], dated : 4/29/2015 02:31:29 PM
1) Resolution of issues or problem with your cooperation : Day 1 to Day 10
2) Formal email or call from your Registered Email or Mobile No. : Day 1 to Day 10
3) Suspension of account (last bill cycle) : Day 11 to Day 13
4) Payment of outstanding and return of equipment :Day 14 to Day 16

On May 1st I got this mail that they could not contact me on my e-mail,
but they offered to give me a waiver since I wasn't using my account :
"We can see that you are currently not using our Tikona services. As a special one-time gesture, we are pleased to announce waiver of one-month
rental Rs. XXXX on your current bill."

I mailed them my new number once again (Have done it several times
and they dont update their database properly) about the disconnection. Again no calls. Wrote several mails through May 2015 for the disconnection. Tried
unsuccessfully calling customer care.

On May 31st, I got a bill of Rs 996.86 ! Dont know why, as my bill was paid till last billing cycle. Moreover my monthly bill amount is only Rs448. I mailed back again. I also mailed to the Appellate Authority ' J Nair' . on June 4th explaining the issue and asking for disconnection.
Someone finally called up after that . He gave me an offer of Rs 999 for 1 year (20 GB), since I didnt use internet intensively. He also assured better customer service after I complained that they have never replied to my mails.
I wrote on June 12th, that I would like to opt for the modified plan. I had also told them that I was unable to access my 'Tikona Self Care' and could not make any changes to plan. Again no mails

Then they sent me a mail with a link in July 3rd, to activate the said plan. I did on 9th August 2015, But dint get any confirmation or any further communication

August 22nd, They sent me a mail saying I have dues of Rs 740 (some arbitrary figure. There was no invoice attached to the mail). I send them back a detailed mail with all details of payments and my conversation with them regarding disconnection .

August 24th, they contacted me over phone (This time they seemed to have been able to contact easily me whereas for service issues, I get a mail they they were unable to contact me), that I have outstanding Rs 940.
The call was made my some one called Sefali (some Tikona employee posing as a government lawyer) from the number [protected] . I challenged ther that I have all receipts till I used the connection, and have asked for disconnection. I asked them to send me a proper bill of any amount with details mentioned clearly. She said she does not have it. She asked me to pay the amount through TIkona Site .
Then I told her that I have written to customer care, and tried calling them up (unsuccessfully again as there is no direct number), and have got a reply they they will get back to me. She said she would connect me to customer care, and connected me to some guy.
I explained my problem, and all the communication. He agreed there had been communication lapses from their side on letting me know this pending amount for full and final payment (They have not even looked into my request for modifying the plan and did not know about it!!! ). He assured that the amount was pending and had to be paid.

I made the payment of Rs 940 on the Tikona website, and am awaiting for further communication.
I have sent Tikona a mail to disconnect my services, and that I do not wish to continue any further . I dont need any more fake offers from Tikona, which are not materialized.
I would request Tikona to kindly investigate into the service and communication lapses, and
refund the Excess amount paid.
Tikona Digital Networks customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
