My internet connection is down since 5 days and each time I call I am told that the "issue will be resolved in 8 hours" since something is " wrong with their tower" . It has been 120 hours since my first call and I am yet to hear from them. My last call was made today morning and when I demanded that the matter be escalated or a technician be sent immediately, I was told that it will be done. But in keeping with Tikona's terrible record in customer service, which is only matched by its poor internet connection, I am yet to get any response from them.
Moreover in the month of June, a similar problem persisted for 10 days and I was told that i would get a rebate in my next bill for being without internet service for so long. However despite following up on the matter with several emails and telephone calls, each time I get an automated email from Tikona that says "you are not eligible for a rebate". I fail to understand, when I am paying Rs 850 per month, and am made to go without internet for half of the period, my rebate also should be at least Rs 280. And that is not including the several hundreds rupees I spent making countless futile calls to their inefficient and unprofessional customer care.
I am extremely disappointed by Tikona's poor service and internet connect and regret taking their package in the first place.
