Disconnect, wait for final bill but you get abusive calls! My User ID is [protected], I placed a disconnection request in the last week of May and after several follow ups, termination happened on June 23rd. I have been following up for the final bill post collection of the devices, but to my surprise customer care said I will be receiving my final bill shortly and told me not to pay the outstanding amount which is shown in the self-care dashboard. After waiting for close to 2 months, I get a call from so called Advocate Rajiv Gupta, who is waiting outside Delhi High Court to file a case against me for not paying my bill and gave me one hour time to pay Rs. 2500 odd. My actual outstanding is Rs. 586 and I received a Bill from Tikona on August 7th as Rs. 686 including the late payment fee and the last date to pay that was August 22nd. Post receiving the call I logged in to my dashboard and paid the outstanding amount which was displayed, i.e., Rs. 686. Within an hour I get a call from same Rajiv Gupta, who was now standing outside Delhi High Court that I have not paid the penalty of Rs. 2000 (For which they sent no mail, sms, notification in dashboard etc., ) so he is going to file a case and I’ll be getting a legal notice. I seriously dont understand what TIKONA is doing, are you guys cheating poor customers? You already made Himalayan promises on speed whereas the reality was different. Now you make threatening phone calls / harass your loyal customers through recovery agents. You don't even have a process to carry out a termination request! But they have all the time to hire recovery agents. The biggest ever mistake I made in my life was to choose Tikona over other services. Your customer care no’s are not reachable and you never call back! Pathetic BTW here is the phone no. of Advocate or Recovery Agent of TIKONA Rajiv Gupta: +[protected]. TIKONA, if you are really concerned about your customers, give me an explanation for your mess.

Just wondering how you guys find time to write replies here but not pick our calls when we dial to your toll free or write emails to you.

    I had made a termination request for the above mentioned connection id on July 13, 2015, which was acknowledged on July 14, 2015 mentioning my disconnection request was under process. The equipment has already been recovered from my residence. I received a bill on July 18, 2015 asking for advance payment (recurring) charges from July 15, 2015 to August 14, 2015. When I had already made a disconnection request on July 13, 2015 (within the previous billing cycle), why a new bill asking for advance payment was sent? Still, I made the payment on July 30, 2015. Now, you shameless people have sent another bill asking payment for August 15, 2015 to September 14, 2015. Are you guys deaf or dumb or both??? "I HAVE STOPPED USING TIKONA SERVICES FROM JULY 13, 2015." Please stop living off of hard earned money of people, whom you take for ride giving them third class services and extorting money from them, even when they stop using your pathetic services. I had heard a lot from people that Tikona is a "GUNDA" company which keeps harassing its customers even when they want to get rid of Tikona. Now, I have seen that from my own eyes. Don't worry, someone somewhere will take you "GUNDA" guys to task. Just wait for the right time.

      User ID: [protected] First of all they have the worst broadband service with the the worst service(technical and customer care). This ID was in name of my friend who left the city, registered in his mail id and number. Even after telling them to change the details of email id and contact number, they never did that. For closing the connection we told them so many times, they never disconnected, saying that registered number is different. But at time of payment they used to call on our number. That time they have our number. Broadband service was horrible. Half of the month were not able to use it properly because of dis-connectivity and slow speed. They used to send their technician lots of time and dont know what they used to do, it never solved any problem. Atlast we shifted to new place, and asked them to dis connect and take their instruments back. Seems they dont care about that also. And they wont refund the money without handing over the instruments. Its been more than 3 months they no body came to take their instruments. And today my another friend got call telling to clear all the dues(After 3 months).

      Some guy called saying he is calling from consumer court, his number : [protected].Since they never terminated the account even after telling them for so many times. Now they are calling for payment of dues.This guy called and told to pay Rs.4062 and 2500 will be refunded as soon as I will make the payment. After I made the payment I tried to call him but he was not picking up. After I called him from different number, he picked up and said he will send a cheque for that.And now I am sure they will send it in name of my friend who is not in city and in old address. because even after telling them for 100 times they never changed details in their database.These guys are are not doing their work and now it has became harassment.Worst SERVICE..Worst Customer care..Worst MANAGEMENT..THEY ARE HARASSING CUSTOMERS

        Brief :- I have been staying in Virar and have registered for Tikona services a year back. I have been using their services very reluctantly as every now and then there were issues with their hardware or connectivity. One fine day, I decided to terminate their services and sent them a verbal communication on the same. I have also written a mail communication in this regards on 7th July. But since then I at least get 10 calls a day from various numbers asking me to pay Tikona bill for the services I am not using. Yesterday one of the representative from Tikona Mr Piyush G called me and offered me a retention plan and have asked me to pay INR 1140 Rs after which he assured me he will start my services immediately but after the payment made on his commitment the Tikona services are yet not started and when called to Tikona their representative (Mrs. Sunita Id 4373) says she cannot start the services as she has no intimation of the plan changed to retention plan and is insisting me to pay more money if she wants my services to start again. Tikona have never sent me any reply on my mail although they state they will get back to us within 72 Hrs. Can I officially file a complaint against them for the touture I am going through.             I have reached out "[protected]@tikona.in" customer care many times however I have always end up getting automated email's with new Request no (some of them given below), But please note that none of them has been resolved as of yet. My Request No's - 1-[protected]. - 1-[protected]. - 1-[protected] (July 8 '15) - 1-[protected] (July 9 '15) 5 to 6 month back I requested for disconnection as I had two Tikona connection and non of them were giving adequate speed or performance, hence I opted out from one connection (id no: [protected]) and I requested this both on call with your customer care and as well as in email too. I have been told that after closing of the particular month my connection will be disconnected and I will get a rebate of INR 350/- on my last bill.. My connection will be kept deactivate for the period of two month and if I wanted I can make it active again.. And if I don't want to get activated they will disconnect. So I stopped using my connection much before the next billing cycle. Instead I got more then my normal tariff charges.. i.e, 950/- I could have even paid that, but I have been promised a rebate so I called the CC again to confirm about their promise for rebate and why I got more amount then my regular tariff.. they said they will get back to me on that and I will get a call from their team, but nothing as such happened.. I kept calling your cc in a gap of 10 to 15 days.. however nothing happened.. After 1 month I got additional monthly rental tariff, which was hardly unacceptable, as I already requested for disconnection and I was not using the connection as well.. Since then I tried to call many times your cc, but I only got the promise of that someone will call me back.. From last 5 month I am getting almost 10 to 15 calls on a daily basis from your automated system for making the bill payment.. I have almost blocked most of those number.. I would request you to look into this matter and get it resolved at the earliest. I am ready to pay the legitimate bill if someone is ready to talk to me. Thanks Manish

              Hi, I am unable to access internet past 10 days.After calling many times on customer care they haven't provide any solutions yet.After forcing so much they assigned Enginner to visit but since 03 days no one came to resolve issue. and also sent an email to CEO prakash.[protected]@tikona.in‎; [protected]@tikona.in and customer care still no response. I realized that still consumers dont have any rights in India. This is my horrible experience in my life time. Please don't try the internet connection given by this company they know how to cheat & frustrate the customer only. The customer care of tikona is world's worst service I ever seen.                 I have sent mail to tikona to disconnect as i am changing my current location.. No action has been taken for the past 1 month... If tikona is planning to extend this disconnection period and charge for the same then I will have to apply laudge a complaint against them in the court. I have raised many requests for disconnection and sent lots of mails but there is no response from tikona. the below are the communications made with tikona team. Aug 12 - Your online request number is 1-[protected].(no action taken for request & request was closed) Jul 28 - Your online request number is 1-[protected]..(no action taken for request & request was closed) Jul 3 - The activities are summarized against your Service Request Number 1-[protected], dated : 7/2/2015 10:02:31 AM 1) Resolution of issues or problem with your cooperation : Day 1 to Day 10 2) Formal email or call from your Registered Email or Mobile No. : Day 1 to Day 10 3) Suspension of account (last bill cycle) : Day 11 to Day 13 4) Payment of outstanding and return of equipments : Day 14 to Day 16 5) Closure of account : Once activity 4 is completed then within 48hrs account will be closed. they promised to close by 2 Days from 3rd july still no response from TIKONA.

                  I am not able to connect to internet since last three days. I have called you guys, 4 times, and every time I get an answer, that it would be fixed in 8 working hours. And, last time when I called, you guys put me on hold, and then never replied back. What kind of service are you guys providing, if you cannot fix an issue in 3 days time even after calling so many times. Your customer care officials doesn't know how to talk as well. I have raised a complaint, and they closed that complaint even without asking if the issue is resolved or not. What the hell is this? Also, you say that to get quick help dial on a chargeable number, and even that number doesn't work many times. My User id - [protected]

                    Hi, You can check my previous complaints which never been taken care of. I'll type it again here. In short I need a full refund, and everytime I call tikona customer care they say it will take 48hrs to process the refund and they never send email or provide update. More than 3months so far, they took my money and cheated. SRF Number [protected] Name JAVID HUSSAIN registered in my dad mobile number - [protected] My mobile number - [protected] (You can call me to this number anytime) Customer Account Number[protected] Billing Account Number[protected] USER ID [protected] It took a week for them to setup the device and make everything operational(May 31 around 8PM), next day itself the internet was completely gone and I tried email to customer care, Apellate authority (Nair) and even reached out the same guy Rajesh to help me out. Then I waited patiently for them to reach me out. Took several days still nobody helped, again contacted customer care they said the (useless) device doesn't signal from tower, I opted for cancellation of service (Req # 1-[protected]). Then after few days senior technical support guy (as per my request) came to my place and tried to fix the problem and his MOBILE NUMBER - [protected] keeping for records. He confirmed that there is a disturbance and the device doesn't pickup signal due to interference between two different tikona towers. I asked for a full refund and he said he will arrange that. I called and confirmed with tikona customer care stating that they will give a full refund for non technical feasibility, I was assured that atleast i'll get my investment back. Still I haven't got a refund and everytime I call Tikona customer care, they say i'll get an email with full settlement within 48hrs, which never happens. I called thrice(3times) and everytime they say i'll get an email within 48hrs. Its been more than 3 month so far, they did collected device and everything. Extremely disappointing. Why are you giving such false commitments to the consumers? Government should impose fine to these cheating companies. Regards, Javid Hussain

                      Tikona id: [protected] Anshu Sharma contact No. [protected] I have not used your service since may 2015 and also I dropped a request for disconnection but still the bill was generated and now I got a legal notice for the bill payment. Customer care is also not working. I need to talk to the supervisor or customer support team urgently but there is no response from the company. The legal team has collected a large amount from me otherwise I have a criminal case filed against me so I had to do that payment. Now I want to file a case against the company for charging me the amount for service which I haven't actually used.

                        Dear sir/Madam I am NIdheesh, I have purchased internet connect from Tikona with 4mbps connection on 11/08/2015 with Cash INR 2, 380 in advance for installation and 2 months connection fees, since I took an internet connect there is a problem of connection from day one. And also internet speed test never cross more than 256 Kbps speed. I have raised several requests to their technical team but no one have attended my request for assistance their call center people only take request but no action I have asked for disconnection but they have taken request for waiver. Their Engineers are unable to attend my phone calls last 5 days.

                          Tikona has the worstest service in broadband, they bloody take money and do not provide services. i tried reaching to them through calls, mails every possible way but no resolution was provided. There network works for 30 minutes and then stops working for entire day. Customer executives are so unprofessional that they always talk rudely and keep call on hold. I have recordings wherein supervisors are arguing among each other to take call and making fun of customer's time. They ask each other to take call and also i have heard over call saying "keep him on hold, he will disconnect himself". I want that these fraud people should be forced to shutdown services.

                          However even after complaint launched here, they didn't called me. I called them many times and finally after so many discussion they agreed to provide technical support. Thanks to consumer complaints forum that at least they tried reaching me here.

                            Dear Sir/Ma'am, Due to overdue charges of May & June month ( 2000+ ) my Tikona Account - [protected] was suspended on 5th july 2015, I made a payment of 1000/- ( 2 times ) on 16th july and 23th july 2015. And on 23rd July, 2015 Mr. VINOD ( +91 [protected] ) state that now my billing circle is changed from 7th to 25th of every month and your all dues are cleared...now u only have to pay monthly rental of 1000/- + service taxes on 25th of august and so on...on 25th date of every month...And now I got all is just a lie...This is truly a worst company I have ever seen...and in half month of june there's a lot of technical issue regarding to speed and network breakage...I had made so many complaints and mails for it...and now the company is making fool to me...providing me wrong informations...there's no waiver of that 15-20 days of june month...etc etc...Please help me out...as soon as possible...otherwise I will send a regal paper notice to the company...THANK YOU...!!

                              I have purchased internet connect from Tikona with 4mbps connectoion on 11/08/2015 with Cash INR 2, 233 in advance for installation and 2 months connection fees, since I took an internet connect there is a problem of connection from day one. And also internet speed test never cross more than 1mbps speed. I have raised several requests to their technical team but no one have attended my request for assistance their call center people only take request but no action I have asked for disconnection but they have taken request for waiver. Once again today I have request for refund but they are unable to attend my phone calls for refund of cash.

                                It is the worst internet service I have ever used. After closing the connection, someone called me saying he is tikona lawyer from delhi and I got court notice. Their representatives even worse, they will never come and get the wireless device after disconnection even if you call them multiple times. And you have to pay for their poor attitude. Never ever go for this ISP. Ask the tikona representative people to come and collect their device. My TIKONA username : [protected]

                                Hello All,

                                Same problem with us.. We got call from someone from Delhi & update us - we have to do payment within an hour or else they will issue legal notice & we have to present at Delhi court.

                                This is really cheating & my confusion is - we are at Gujarat - having connection at Vadodara Place & why legal notice from Delhi Court ???

                                Really this Internet connection is worst...

                                I highlight this point to TIKONA --- Common people do not have to time for Court matter so thats why they are taking benefit for this..

                                  I have closed connection also I have received confirmation email from tikona. I attached. But they are saying amount overdue is there. I received call from +[protected] number for amount overdue. I don't know how that possible after closed connection without any outstanding amount.

                                    To, Consumer Forum I am buy Tikona broadband in Feb 21 Th 2015 my Account No.[protected] having User ID [protected] and i pay advance 3 month rent rs 5000/- but after the installation i am not getting connectivity regularly and i am company more then 15 time {26 feb, 29 feb, 3 march, 6, 9, 14, 17, 19, 24, 26, 29, april 1, 3, 6, 8, 9, 12, 14} still 1 month but no one come and i am not getting any proper reply from them then after i request for close my connection in month of April i call them and tell him to close my connection and that time may credit balance is 800 rs. after the call me for please start over service but i am not agree for that, in month of may the call me and say OK we close your service and you don't pay any think, in April i am stop use his service, now today i got legal demand notice for rs 2131, when i give closing request i have credit bl in Tikona rs 800 now after 4 month hi asking for this 4 month rent how can i agree to pay it not my problem to give me reply after 3 month so i need your help. i am also need my 800 rs back from company

                                        Hi Team, Already there are many online request numbers raised by me. No response from your customer care team. You guys cant even send a reply mail. ? For you kind reference the online request number which was generated last time for my mail is 1-[protected] . I have asked many clarifications. Nothing has been explained yet. Three major questions from my side: 1. Your team itself confirmed via system generated mail that as per my request the account has been terminated and the payable amount finally is Rs.152.23/- 2. Again your team is sending me bill for Rs.729 on July 29. For your kind information I guess I have raised a compliant that tikona internet is not working from May 26th. I have mailed your team on may 29th to resolve the issue. An engineer came to my home and said that its impossible to get the signal as they have constructed new building in front of my House. He took some pics and said that he will mail his team to look on the issue. As there was no reply after 5 days I mailed again on June 4th to terminate my tikona account. And as per the request and after my follow ups with tikona team, your tikona team terminated my account on 16th June. On 7th July I recieved mail for full and final settlement bill of Rs.152.23/- . I didnt see my mail that time. You guys have stated that i have to pay the bill of Rs.152.23 within 3 days. Again on July 29th I have recieved bill stating that my previous dues are 629 plus 100 rupees late payment fee. So a total of 729 I should pay. I asked you guys a valid explanation. I have not yet received any mails or calls for that. 3. You guys said that you have terminated my account on June 16th. I have not even received my bill for the month of June. In this case i got bill on July 29th. How this happened ? And in your tikona ebill for the date 26th May you guys have mentioned that the following. Recurring Charge (From 26-May-2015 to 25-Jun-2015) : 700 Usage Charges: 0 Taxes: 86.52 Total: 786.52 So this is what i receive in my all month bills. This means I am paying beforehand for what i am going to use the following month. So in this case my Internet did not work from 26th May and it was cancelled on 20th June. So why Should I get bill for Month of July including fine of Rs.100. For What I have used till 26th May I have paid you guys on 10th May. 4. Fourthly a guy is calling me and saying he is the advocate on august 11th 11:00 AM and he is saying me that that tikona has filed up a case against me that i have not payed outstanding bill amount of Rs.2800/- (This is truly a big lie, @tikona: do you guys know, that i have referred my frnds to use tikona as they are the best, and even i have paid all my bills correctly.) . And the guy is threatening me that in 1 hour my case will be coming in front of the Judge in Delhi, he asks me whether am going to fight against the case or withdraw the case. If I have to Withdraw he said i have to pay Rs.10, 000/- . He does not even listen to what i am saying. Tikona did not even reply me back to my mails when i asked expalantion to my bill. I did not even say them that I will not pay the bill. But, you guys threaten me that you have raised the case against me. So please clarify me what should i Pay and how much should I pay. Whether I should pay Rs.152 or Rs.729/- Please reply me to this email. If You guys are not going to reply to this email, I am not going to pay you guys any amount and with the previous mails I am gonna file up a case that the company does not provide the details when the consumer is following up for the answer in Consumer Court. Kindly do reply me via mail and via call. I need expalantion both ways. I even tried up calling your customer care numbers. Both the numbers are irresponsive.
