Date of incident - 13th August 2015. I have sent couple of e-mails to Tikona customer care I did not get any response for any of those e-mails. So raised termination request of Tikona broadband connection by calling the toll free number. I have not used Tikona connection from 7th May 2015 and I paid the bill for 7th April to 6th May. Tikona support still used to call me and ask to pay bill for the cycle 7th May 2015 to 6th June 2015. That time I explained them that I already raised termination request so if still I need to pay I am ready to pay. They said like no need to pay now and I will get e-mail regarding final settlement. This happened several times they always used to tell no need to pay as internet usage is 0MB. On 13th August I got a call from Amita S ([protected]) at 5.00pm and she stated herself as advocate and spoke to me in an aggressive manner that I need to pay an amount of 1101.42 rupees by 6.00pm the same day or else she would file the case on behalf of Tikona against me and gave me some case number like - DLA972271.And she fired two options to me : a) either to pay the money and settle it asap b)or to face the consequence which she told would be that they would register the case in court and upon getting legal notice from the court I need to get to delhi asap with my lawyer and face the charges. After hearing all this I just got panicked and payed the amount asap. She said, she will provide me the NOC within 24hrs against the Transaction ID [protected]TPC[protected]. after a day when I didnt get the NOC I tried contacting them and they were just playing around with me cutting my call or may pick the call and wont respond for long time, so on.. I need JUSTICE!!!

Same happened to me. I have not yet paid. without justice and valid explanation or proof how shall we pay. you atleast can login to your account. i am not even able to open the selfcare login.

Already there are many online request numbers raised by me. No response from your customer care team. You guys cant even send a reply mail. ? For you kind reference the online request number which was generated last time for my mail is 1-[protected] .

I have asked many clarifications. Nothing has been explained yet.

Three major questions from my side:

1. Your team itself confirmed via system generated mail that as per my request the account has been terminated and the payable amount finally is Rs.152.23/-

2. Again your team is sending me bill for Rs.729 on July 29. For your kind information I guess I have raised a compliant that tikona internet is not working from May 26th. I have mailed your team on may 29th to resolve the issue. An engineer came to my home and said that its impossible to get the signal as they have constructed new building in front of my House. He took some pics and said that he will mail his team to look on the issue. As there was no reply after 5 days I mailed again on June 4th to terminate my tikona account. And as per the request and after my follow ups with tikona team, your tikona team terminated my account on 16th June. On 7th July I recieved mail for full and final settlement bill of Rs.152.23/- . I didnt see my mail that time. You guys have stated that i have to pay the bill of Rs.152.23 within 3 days. Again on July 29th I have recieved bill stating that my previous dues are 629 plus 100 rupees late payment fee. So a total of 729 I should pay. I asked you guys a valid explanation. I have not yet received any mails or calls for that.

3. You guys said that you have terminated my account on June 16th. I have not even received my bill for the month of June. In this case i got bill on July 29th. How this happened ? And in your tikona ebill for the date 26th May you guys have mentioned that the following.

Recurring Charge (From 26-May-2015 to 25-Jun-2015) : 700
Usage Charges: 0
Taxes: 86.52

Total: 786.52

So this is what i receive in my all month bills. This means I am paying beforehand for what i am going to use the following month.

So in this case my Internet did not work from 26th May and it was cancelled on 20th June. So why Should I get bill for Month of July including fine of Rs.100. For What I have used till 26th May I have paid you guys on 10th May.

4. Fourthly a guy is calling me and saying he is the advocate on august 11th 11:00 AM and he is saying me that that tikona has filed up a case against me that i have not payed outstanding bill amount of Rs.2800/- (This is truly a big lie, @tikona: do you guys know, that i have referred my frnds to use tikona as they are the best, and even i have paid all my bills correctly.) . And the guy is threatening me that in 1 hour my case will be coming in front of the Judge in Delhi, he asks me whether am going to fight against the case or withdraw the case. If I have to Withdraw he said i have to pay Rs.10, 000/- . He does not even listen to what i am saying. Tikona did not even reply me back to my mails when i asked expalantion to my bill. I did not even say them that I will not pay the bill. But, you guys threaten me that you have raised the case against me.

So please clarify me what should i Pay and how much should I pay. Whether I should pay Rs.152 or Rs.729/- Please reply me to this email. If You guys are not going to reply to this email, I am not going to pay you guys any amount and with the previous mails I am gonna file up a case that the company does not provide the details when the consumer is following up for the answer in Consumer Court.

Kindly do reply me via mail and via call. I need expalantion both ways. I even tried up calling your customer care numbers. Both the numbers are irresponsive. Is this the way you guys treat the customer.

I have a similar issue, and Im not paying a penny without a proper bill or proof.

Hi Tikona care team,

As I already mentioned I paid the bill for the period 7th April to 6th May and asked Tikona to terminate the connection from 7th May, from the attached images you can see that I did not use Tikona services from 7th May 2015. But still Tikona support used to call me and ask to pay bill for the cycle 7th May 2015 to 6th June 2015. Finally they threatened me saying that they are going to file case against me and made me to pay unnecessarily an amount of Rs 1101.42 . This means I paid bill for the period which I did not use Tikona internet service. I see your latest reply mentioning no refund is applicable which is not correct. Could you please check on this again.

    I had been a user of tikona for six months due to there bad service and careless attitude I had requested tikona for disconnection also not once i have requested 3 times to disconnect but for any reason they never proceed. I have called the customer care again for the status they asked me to pay some amount which is pending in and i paid to there agent whose name was Moin he disconnected the cable and modem in my house and left. I cant understand why are they started charging for the subsequent months when the connection was inactive and when I informed the same to tikona they said these are false statement or sms there is nothing pending from your end. But after few months, today one advocate from delhi calls and was trying to threaten me to make a huge payment without a clear picture. He was misbehaving and threatening...

      I had been a user of tikona since 2008. I had requested tikona to shift the connection to my new address and they did not get back on the issue. I hav called the customer care a 100 times on the same and they said their executive would call back. They started charging for the subsequent months when the connection was inactive and when I informed the same to tikona they had told that they will clear the bills and confirmed the same. But after three months an advocate from delhi calls and harrases to make a huge payment without a clear reason for the charges without a bill aswell. They are threatening that I would be imprisoned if we fail to make the payment of a huge amount of 50, 000 . When enquired my friends, I came to know that the similar case had happened to them. This company is trying to threaten and loot money from innocent people with their harsh and impolite advocated from Delhi. Please customers do not encourage this company in our country and kindly refrain from using their services. They would promise u a good service and later charge you heavily with threats. The goverment should immediately intervene into this issue to help the people as this is a new strategy being introduced into our country to loot money and it is very obvious. The people of India are not fools to pay 50000 for an inactive household internet connection.

          This is with respect to Tikona Broadband User ID : [protected] (Babusapalya, Bangalore) I have been facing issues with Tikona Broad band Connection as mentioned below 1. Tikona Network does not get identified in my laptop and does not login at all. 2. After a long Struggle hardly it will get connected but later hangs and Net goes down. 3. Tikona Person suggested me to load Google Chroma or Mozilla to over come the problem which was not helpful to me. One of the Technician has come home but could not resolve the problem and later got call from Senior technician Srinivas ([protected]) which gave a assurance that will resolve the problem the next day or else will disconnect right away. The Next day he did not turn up to resolve the problem and when i called him on phone to check, his response was too unethical. When i called Tikona Customer care, they keep me waiting for 7-9 mins and by end of 7th-9th min again told me to wait for 1 more min which kept on repeating again and again. I tried calling Raghu ([protected]) who gave this connection ..even he did not pick my call. Finally i had send email to '[protected]@tikona.in'; 'j.[protected]@tikona.in' for which i only got Automatic reply but no progress on my disconnection.

            Hi, My name is Amit Holkar and My Tikona Service ID No [protected] & Billing Account Number[protected], I requested for tikona braod connection and Made 3 Months Advance payment of Rs. 6000, In the first month, I faced lot of problem with the Tikona connection, it use to disconnect in every 5 to 10 minutes and I need to call customer care and they used to tell me same thing that fiber is cut down in your area, Internet connection will be connected in next 30 minutes, and when I call them after 30 minutes, I get another excuse from them, I have almost more than 100 complaint numbers with me, And after few day they started not picking up my call because I used to call 50 to 60 times daily, then I called the are manager (Hirendra) for the issue. Manager behaved very rudely and told me I dont have time to check your issue, call customer care, and when I asked to take legal action against them, he told me jo ukhadna hai ukadlo nhi hoga tumhara connection chalu. Finally after 1 this I decided to disconnect the Tikona Broad band connection. I have copy of mail with me regarding the disconnection. After that I didn't used ther connection, after 2 months I got a Bill of Rs. 1700 and used to get so many calls to pay bill and I mentioned the same issue to more than 50 vendors, that I have made a request of disconnection 2 months before, you should refund my two months advance payment even 3 because your internet connection never worked and I already paid 3 months advance payment and used internet connection not even for 1 month.. I told them not to call me or I have to take legal action against them. And today I got a legal notice mail from them regarding the payment. Before this one of the Manager (Amit Porwal) came to my office to continue the connection and promised me that i will not get the same issue again and even they will give me extra 2 mbs speed, but I said no to him and said I already got the connection from Rajesh Patel Net services and there service is really good. Manager said to me he will adjust the payment and they took all there devices like Modem and Fiber device and I have the receipt of that as well. So I will take now legal action agains tikona digital services, I have each and every proof with me. I will recommend each and everyone Not to use Tikona Digital Service, they are fraud, if you want to waste your money, which you or you parents earned by lot of hard work then you should go with Tikona Digital Service. And if you want to waste your time or dont want to burst out then do not use Tikona Digital Service. Thanks! Regards, Amit Holkar

            Are You kidding me, why i should pay you, when I never used your poor services. you should refund my money, the advance payment of 3 months I paid you. I used your service only for a month, because it was not worth at all.

              My Tikona account(Tikona broadband [protected]) was terminated and I got full and final settlement mail on 19th June 2015 stating that Billed Amount payable till (06/22/2015): Rs. 411.99. I have returned the modem and device already (I also have receipt of this). I've also received confirmation from tikona.[protected]@tikona.in that full and final settlement is complete with the transaction id. In spite of this i got a call today dated 12th Aug 2015, that i have not paid Full and final settlement and a case has been filed against me in Delhi. The guy calls himself senior advocate Mr. Rajiv Bhatia and his phone number is [protected]. He was very impolite and harassing. Please respond to this at the earliest. I want to know if he's a fraudster or he's really your guy. If he's a fraudster then how did he get my residential address and my phone number. ~Vivek

              I just don't believe this. I got an SMS from tikona again asking me to pay up 1210.13.

              This is what the sms reads:
              Sender: IX-Tikona
              Message: Tikona WI-Bro Service ID 1111832217 is still disconnected & bill of Rs. 1210.13 is still overdue. Kindly pay immdtly. Call on 8826693291 if paid or settled already.

              After calling this number, the guy was talking very rudely and threatening to drag me to court.
              I have had enough of this man. After settling the account twice and making full and final payment twice, i have to go through this mental trauma. This is real shame. I have all the receipts of full and final settlement on my email. I can drag you to court for this. I want this nonsense to stop NOW

              I have a full and final settlement mail stating that the net payble amount is Rs. 0.00 after paying Rs. 411.99 which was requested to us as an amout for full and final settlement. Here are the details:

                My Account No. is [protected]. I moved to another city and I requested 'Tikona' to disconnect my internet connection. And then I got the call from their advocate to pay the dues. I paid the dues hoping that now this time, my internet connection will get terminated. Then they said I would have to return the device or else I would have to pay Rs. 1500/- as fine and I told them as I have no access to my old home, I would gladly pay Rs. 1500/- and finally get rid of their service. And for that, I paid all my dues first (even though I wasn't using their internet connection for two months, I paid the bill for those 2 months). Then I got the mail about the termination of my connection. But even after that mail, I once again got monthly bill. Then after several calls, I was told that they would contact me regarding the termination of the connection but I received no such call. Then again, today (12-Aug-2015), I got the call from their advocate (for the second time) saying that you have dues of Approx. Rs. 3500/- and that too in threatening language. Do something about my account, I already paid the dues before and I am still ready to pay the fine for device. Complete this procedure and let me get rid of your service once and for all.

                    This is the worst case i ever faced in my life . My user id was [protected] of tikona service .i had made payment and also returned device to them now today i got call from [protected] addresing himself advocate of delhi high court .he was asking to pay 2500 immediately else as a penalty i hav to pay 52000 as per company policy etc... I had made all payment but still they are cheating to customer and harassing me please take appropriate action them

                      I was using tikona broadband service & having plan of 4Mbps but getting speed of 30 to 50KBps. a rgistered complaints many time in tikona customer care but no body attend my problem. so at last i made a request of closing the service but they didn't even close it. now they send me messages of bills pending & called me that they are complainting me in cibil. under pressure i paid bill. even now they are sending message of bill of current month. i have written them to close the service but no reply. I want my money back of 1950 Rs that i paid under pressure+ waver for worst service.

My plan was of 4Mbps but I was getting speed of 30 to 5o Kbps. So that I registered complaint in tikona customer care but even after continuous followup & I didn't get the solution of my problem. After that tikona was sending me billing messages. I called tikona customer care & requested to stop messaging but no solution.                         I have made compliant on 6.08.2015 till date no response from tikona they are charging Rs 100 for delay paymnet, from last 2-4 months our net connection is not properly working, when we call to cust care they simply says switch off the device wait for 10-15 min & our srvice engineer will attained the call, they not have the proper technical staff for attainding the service call, one off the worst service providing company our cust id is [protected] mob no is [protected]

                          Because of the poor service provided by Tikona Broadband company I decided to terminate the connection for which the request was acknowledged and I got an email on Tuesday, 16 June, 2015 12:04 PM that the connection is terminated and the amount payable is 0. On Thursday, 6 July, 2015 10:32 AM I got a call From Adv Mukesh Sharma mob [protected] claiming to be a legal lawyer from Tikona Broadband company practicing in Delhi High Court in Chamber 24 C Block. In the call Adv Mukesh Sharma told me that a case has been registered by my name in Delhi High Court by Tikona Broadband Service for not paying last months Bill, when I told him that I have already payed the bill he said that If I wish to fight the case I have to be at Delhi high court by monday with my lawyer otherwise a fine of 35, 000rs will be levied upon me for not representing my self in front of the court. I told him that I am a Doctor and I dont have time to waste in such matters So under the pressure I paid and amount of Rs1875 to Tikona through Online payment the transaction id of which is [protected]TPC[protected]. Even when the company had sent a full and final notice with 0Rs balance the company asked their legal team to threaten me by taking the name of an Honourable court. Because of this I had to miss all my patients for the whole of that day. I have already I desire a full Refund of Rs1875 which was billed upon me by fraudulent methods.

                            Hi, Tikona is the worst ISP. I took 4mbps/50gb unlimited plan, since installation(Aug, 2, 2015) 1. I constantly face disconnection problems(works 5 mins doesn't for hours) 2. Speed is averagely on 0.7 Mbps, If I'm lucky would touch 2 once in day(just touch.) 3. Customer care is by far the worst I have seen, they are unwilling to resolve anything. 4. Billing department is incompetent enough to ignore bill waiver they themselves provided in my billing. 5. There is no higher authority if your problem is not solved, Nodal officer's number is not provided(mail bounces back its fake email address) higher appellate authority is fake, all you get a computer generated reply nothing else. 6) And i want to complaint about Your Costumer Care Agent Named:1) Mr. Akash Singh They given me fake complaint No- 1-[protected], And After No One Can Respond Me, 2) To Mr. Manish Pawar - 1-[protected] and no bady can help me...I want to Surrender This Connection And I Want To My Money Back...pls help me

                              I have never done this or wanted to do- TO CRITICIZE ON A SERVICE PROVIDER, unfortunately have to do it. this is the worst ever service level i have faced in the last 5 years!!! the network team us DUMB and dont even respond properly and billing team lives upto their expectation as wel if not worse than the tech team!!! no one is bothered to see the technical issue nor the billing issue!! their CS is icing on the cake!!!                                 Whomsoever It May Concern. Kindly treat this as last intimation for the lapse in services promised by Tikona as per the monthly plan aggreement. To further elaborate the issue please be informed that as per the bill plan i should be getting 4mbps speed however its been more than 40 days that i have not even seen speed of 2mbps, this is treated as breach of the agreement as per the TRAI regulations As an effort to intimate/give opportunity to fix the problem i tried below options which never worked out: 1. Calling up customer service on toll free number/ premium number -whenever i tried i always found it busy and hold beyond 20minutes. 2. Chat option as prompted by IVR i even tried chat option and left message however again no body responded. 3. I raised the concern to the executives who call for making the payment (the last person that i spoke with was pradeep) whos promised that i will soon get a call back from the higher authorities. Moreover I have always experienced poor service whenever required let it be the recent matter of address updation or any other issue, i also believe that Appellate authorities also are least bothered to improve on the service platform or to retain the customers as i tried sending emails to j.nair and as usual there was no revert. As a proof i have attached the screen capture for recent speed test run where in you can clearly see that even it had hard time to give results. Also you may send your executive anytime to collect the device provided by tikona however would not make any payment to the dues showing as pending because i have not received the optimal services.                                         I had Tikona Wi-Bro Account BAN #[protected] at Chennai. It worked for 2 to 3 months that too with many complaints of NO SERVICE frequent ERRORS IN CONNECTION etc. After 20 March 2015 internet service went dead once for all for more than 15 days. My several calls to their Call center was not useful. I sent termination request by email On April 6, 2015 9:42 AM. In April Tikona Rep from mumbai called me over phone and tried to retain me as their customer with long term validity minimum GB plan offer. How will one remain a customer when service is not provided? I rejected their offers. Termination Confirmation [#[protected]] Mail- received VERY LATELY on May 7, 2015 7:12 PM from "Tikona.[protected]@tikona.in" . Tikona kept sending bills and i rejected paying them as paid all monthly bills until the date i used their service. From June, tikona started claiming Rs.1500/- penalty and sent threatening mails of legal action for non handover of hardware. Till today i have replied in time and written voluntarily to same emails, and intimated to collect their hardware from me. But they keep on sending payment request for Rs.1500/- that keeps increasing in every subsequent email bill. Found another email of Tikona Manger Jaykrishnan Nair, received again an auto message. Very horrible experience with Tikona and waste of lot of time and peace of mind .. Not worth it

                                        Hi,

                                        Your claim was false, as you have arrived this figure based on your lack of interest to collect the device and adapter from our end.

                                        Rather you want only to harrass customer for disconnecting your services.

                                        We ware utilising services of other broadband providers since 2015, and they will not be providing services to us unless we pay correctly. so it is not the question of our non-payment to Tikona.

                                        We had paid until the period we used your services.

                                        Last month dues were cleared for the service rendered, for Rs.787.00 in Mar 2015 with transaction ID: 1111863758TPC2003150803390

                                        It is your lack of interest to collect device and close the dispute, which your fail to do despite my best efforts.
                                        To Tikona,

                                        Since April 2015 you have not sent any person or intimated us on the modalities for handover of hardware. Why is it so?

                                        I have been sending reminders through emails, however no one has turned up for collection !!!

                                        Instead actions are underway to threaten me of legal action and asking me to pay Rs.1500/- .

                                        May i suggest you to post in this forum the authorised representative details in Chennai, i will hand over the materials to that person and take acknowledgement receipt.
