      Hi Sir, I live in Virar West near Poonam Nagar, closest landmark being New Viva College. For months now we are suffering from poor coverage and network. We cannot hear when people call and the cell get disconnected as there is no/poor network. We have made numerous complaints to Vodafone and they have confirmed that they have resolved the problem but the problem persists and is never resolved. Request your kind intervention in this matter. We are literally fed up of Vodafone service and want to change over to other service provider. My entire family has Vodafone numbers ([protected], [protected] and [protected]) plus I have a Vodafone Mobile Wi-fi device but am unable to get connected to the internet because of this. The mobile wifi works beautifully in other places.

        On 19th Aug 2009 i called up customer care and requested to activate DO NOT DISTURB services they said after 45 days you would not get any sales or promotional call or sms but now also i'm getting these sms's. I think this is the worst service
        I am using vodafone number. And i had already activated DND services but I am getting messages and calls in frequent manner. I am very puzzeled that no action has been taken from my service proveider(vodafone).

        Some of the numbers from which I am getting messages regarding plots, beauty....etc are

        1) TM ARNinfra

        2) TM States
        contact number [protected]

        These numbers should be immediately bolcked and further action should be taken.
        I wanted to register a case. What i should do?

        Please inform what to do to lodge a case against my provider since i had activated DND and my daily work schedule is affected due to these.....
        i had filed for DND like 2 months back, and everything was ok till a week back, when i again started receiving messages from site Yebhi.com and also regarding flats availablity etc.i want this to be resolved asap.

          I am a vodafone prepaid customer & have recently got 3G subscription (2 months back). Everytime my data plan ends vodafone deducts all my balance available in the account stating that I have used internet. Last month the deduction happened thrice. Although immediately after complaining with customer care I got immediate refund (although they said the deduction was due to internet usage and cannot be refunded). This time again as soon as I recieved an SMS from vodafone that subscription ended as I do not have any free unit unit I switched off my celleluar network & 3G but they have deducted the entire 80 rupees available in the balance. They are claiming that i have used additional data units even when i used internet for only 2-3 minutes after checking the data unit balance which was 42 MB. They are refusing a refund & explanation for the deduction. All they are saying is that I used excess data units without giving me details like how much data usage & when. And to top it all no complaint number.

          I am very sure i did not use the data they are claimimg I did. I am using internet for long & keep a track of data used in the each surfing / dowbnload activity.

          I want this refund as I belive it is unfair to deduct balance without the correct information and one sided version of the story. I do not believe the statements from Vodafone customer care for the simple reason that they do not provide correct , complete or consistent information. Every time you call these guys, they will give you a different story!

          Just to add on I tried *111#4 to understand my last deduction & the only deduction it showed me was 20 p forfeited & nothing else. So if this was a correct deduction why it does not reflect under the last 3 charges category. This is cheating or rather theft!! I am not trusting any fake data they might wish to furnish!

But there is no working GPRS in my mobile next morning when i compalin to vodafone care they tell me we will give request and your problem will solve next 48hrs. when i check that service again its was not working. again i call to customer care theres reply is please wait till 12 pm. we are commit your service will activate. again i check after 12 its again was not working. i am again call to customer care they tell me sir sorry for that we are transfer to our GPRS department. there is one person that name is Ashwini. he said sir during the weekend we are unable to work better for request so we will start your GPRS in evening by 6. its again commited by Vodafone. after 6 i check again that services. its the hell its not working. again i call to customer care with very politly and ask why u doing this type wrong commitment with customer. he replied sir your vodafone live is blocked we are sending sms pls you send this sms to 52586 and your service will activate after do this.but again its not worked. then i am again call to Vodafone Customer care and speak some rudly and there my call attend by Mr. Krishna and he replies very rudely we sorry we are again taking your request (Req no.[protected]we are very sure we will start your service in next 24 hrs.So i m just want to know why VODAFONE Cheat with Customer and doing this type behaviour with customer. here i m complaining against vodafone. and i will go Consumer Court also. please help me against VODAFONE CHEAT COMPANY.

              Sir i have a vodafone simcard the validity of simcard they said its life time and for 3 months i was in abroad my balance was 900 rupees
              When i came back to india and checked the refill my account was nil and there was no balance
              I went to bandra vodafone gallery and told them about the problem
              They say that the company takes all the money if your simcard is not in use
              And again they told me to recharge but i denied and i want my money back
              When i took the simcard no such clause was written then how can they cheat people like this

                    Dear All,

                    I have a internet connection from Vodafone no.[protected] from March 2012, I paid a deposit of Rs.250.00 and Rs.1500.00 for the USB instrument.
                    The connection for 5GB usage per month and charges Rs.850 plus taxes.
                    I am paying the bill with out any default and in July it was not working and called Vodafone and informed me your credit limit is over and to start you have to pay another 1700.00. I paid the same and started. after 2 days again disconnected/ I called / emailed them to disconnect the service and pay my deposit back. In August i got the bill for Rs. 4773.00 and complained vodafone the same by call/email more than 100 times. These people calling and harrasing me for the payment. How i can pay these companies if I dont use the service. The connection was disconnected after the 5GB usage and not providing the service to me. I requested the detailed bill and informed me you have to pay 49 per month and it will start after one month. I want the bill details for the month of July , they cant provide. Vodafone care call centre, they dont know what we are asking and what they are talking to the customer. just spoon feeded style they are talking to the valued customers.
                    I can provide all the emails i send and call list to 111.

                        Vodafone — Unidentified calls

                        For last 3-4 days whenever I got calls from few numbers, I heard the other party but opposite party hear some abnormal talks(i.e. ladies vurgal voice) and If I calls back, they heard same (i.e. ladies vorgul voice) and I only hear there astonish sound, that I am calling but they are listning something else and some other voice.                                 This is regarding the reissue of my number [protected] which is being delayed on the grounds of Special charges to be levied since it is a special number. First they blocked the number and now not reissuing the same. The problem is that i have applied for this number on 31st July 2012 and was given a SIM card (charged Rs.250) saying that it will be activated in 5-6days. It is 13th Sep today and the number is still inactive. The vodafone executive calls up whenever i ping them on facebook and ask for 48-72 hrs time but they never commit whether it will be alotted to me or not. They say that the dealer is not releasing the number because he wants to mend extra money by selling this special number. Vodafone has no control over its dealers and tomorrow if this number is issued to someone else, they will not definitely not going to even listen to my grievance.
                                I had already mentioned that this number is imporatnt for me as i have been using it for my business puposes and also it is with all my banks.
                                Kindly help me out consumers........
                                Beware of Vodafone......it doesnot care for its customers.......!!!

                                    Im facing frequent mobile network / Signal problem & Im using the Vodafone connection for nearly three years & now i decided to terminate the connection , But I heard about mobile number portability so just waiting for those option , Any idea when it will be available & how much will be charged

                                      One of our mobile number [protected] was disconnected on 1/9/12. This mobile number is in thee name of "Surya Marketing" situated at Jhotwara Road, Jaipur. The user of theis number bought a Samsung Galaxy S3 in june withe which he was given a free 3G usage pack upto 2 GB on his phone for 3 monthes as communicated, suggested and activated by Mr Neeraj at Crystall mall Store of Vodafone in Jaipur. This scheme was activated by him on theis phone on 7the july when thee user visited store for issuance of a micro sim.

                                      He was communicated very clearly by Mr Neeraj at thee store , theat thee scheme which was activated was valid for 3 monthes upto 2 GB every monthe.

                                      On 1st September about 11 days back thee outgoing was barred on theis phone witheout any advance intimation and only an sms of thee billing amount was received by thee user on thee same day. After enquiry on thee vodafone customer helpline about it and he was only told about thee billing amount of Rs 8531 which was billed on theis number and was noticeably in excess of thee credit limit set by us (Credit limit set by us- Rs 2000) and furtheer no details were given as to why such huge charges were billed. The next day morning user visited thee Vodafone store situated at Crystal mall, Jaipur where he was informed by theeir accounts employee about thee data usage charges of Rs. 7413.50 on thee phone for 3G usage even after thee active free 3G offer mentioned above.

                                      The user has been continuously following up withe thee store managers Mr Rajeev and Mr Neeraj, withe thee relationship Manager Mr Surendra(in sales) and many otheer vodafone officers. We also spoke withe a nodal officer on theis number [protected], picked by a lady who committed theat she would resolve theis problem in 24 hrs time (Service ref no given-[protected]) and we have been fed up calling her again and again but all our phones have eitheer gone unanswered or theis phone is switched off. In last 9 days we have spoken many a times withe Mr Rajeev and Mr neeraj on theis matter but theey have not been able to address it till today everyday we were given a commitment of restoring thee services by evening on theis number. Mind you theese last 9 days consist of thee 8 working days and we have suffered a lot of financial loss because of theis in our business, theis has caused a lot of harassment to us because of lost opportunities/loss of business and reputational loss to us. This number is being used by a member of our senior management Mr Tarun Kalani who handles admin functions and key processes of our existing and new ventures.

                                      We have given several requests to thee company to restore theis number's services and roll back thee unreasonable/wrong amount billed but notheing has been done till today.
                                      We want to file a complaint withe thee Consumer court against Vodafone Digilink ltd for its inactive, misleading services and false commitments.

                                      This consumer complaint should be at Vodafone's cost and we will seek compensation for thee mental/financial/reputational loss caused to us because theeir poor services, misleading and false commitments.

                                      Vodafone Postpaid connection since last 10 years — Outgoing barred

                                      Dear Sir/Madam,
                                      I am Vodafone's customer since last more than 10 years and none of the time i am a defaulter or late payment customer at all, infect paid every time double of the bill amount to keep my history clean. Even then Vodafone has barred/stopped my out going since 9th Oct 2010 without any proper reason, cause and intimation which is very much ridiculous and business loss for me, therefore i want to take the action against them as soon as possible.
                                      When i called customer care (Ms. Anita) then they kept me on hold for more than 10 minutes and disconnect the call, second and third time too the same happened while i told the 2nd (Raj Kumar) and 3rd person (Kanika) not to do that and also to connect me to your senior persons/manager to speak and bring the concerns in his/her knowledge but they did not bother and did unprofessional & untrained act which bothered me bit more as i was not seeing any way of sorting out my problem.
                                      TRAI should have standing instructions with these all service providers to first of all trained the customer care persons well/professionally (How to handle the customer with full care and soft speaking) and also there should be the way to reach the senior persons escaping the stupid customer care executives.

                                      So i will request whom so ever is concerned with this mail to take the fast and strict action against them so that they should not repeat the same ever with any valuable customers and also to sort out my matter which is making my business loss and mental harrasment.

                                      Our intent has been very clean in this issue, we are a responsible and fair company. If this billing would have been done after calling us or after taking our approval to change the credit limit on this number then we would have paid even Rs 50000 happily in time without any protest, But this billing has been done hideously, without our approval written/oral. If you have any proof of our approval to increase the credit limit beyon Rs 2000 on this number then please bring it to our notice. We will happily pay the money immediately on the same day you present any such proof.

                                      You will only loose a fair and sincere customer like us if this practice continues and we are made to go through such difficulties.

                                        An Amount of Rs. 245/- was deducted from my prepaid account Ph # - [protected] for Internet even after my data plan was active. On Contacting Customer Care they have a scripted response that internet charges are non refundable and one Sr. Executive Mr Prakash Sharma on customer care No - 198 Hung Up on me when I asked him to transfer my call to his Senior (Supervisor or Team Leader). I have spoken to the below mentioned people and had no relief I am afraid Vodafone will not refund this amount back. Please help
