Vodafone — Unidentified calls

For last 3-4 days whenever I got calls from few numbers, I heard the other party but opposite party hear some abnormal talks(i.e. ladies vurgal voice) and If I calls back, they heard same (i.e. ladies vorgul voice) and I only hear there astonish sound, that I am calling but they are listning something else and some other voice. Above thing creates problems in my life because opposite party is nothing but my wife. plse do needfull and get rid from this problem

i m getting some sms and calls from this vodafone no [protected] its comes in delhi ncr region . could i get the details of the person who is making all this thing or could u take come action against this person. it would be very greatful.

          This is regarding the reissue of my number [protected] which is being delayed on the grounds of Special charges to be levied since it is a special number. First they blocked the number and now not reissuing the same. The problem is that i have applied for this number on 31st July 2012 and was given a SIM card (charged Rs.250) saying that it will be activated in 5-6days. It is 13th Sep today and the number is still inactive. The vodafone executive calls up whenever i ping them on facebook and ask for 48-72 hrs time but they never commit whether it will be alotted to me or not. They say that the dealer is not releasing the number because he wants to mend extra money by selling this special number. Vodafone has no control over its dealers and tomorrow if this number is issued to someone else, they will not definitely not going to even listen to my grievance.
          I had already mentioned that this number is imporatnt for me as i have been using it for my business puposes and also it is with all my banks.
          Kindly help me out consumers........
          Beware of Vodafone......it doesnot care for its customers.......!!!
          Bogus redressal team, bogus nodal dept, ridiculous speed of processing requests!!!

                One of our mobile number [protected] was disconnected on 1/9/12. This mobile number is in thee name of "Surya Marketing" situated at Jhotwara Road, Jaipur. The user of theis number bought a Samsung Galaxy S3 in june withe which he was given a free 3G usage pack upto 2 GB on his phone for 3 monthes as communicated, suggested and activated by Mr Neeraj at Crystall mall Store of Vodafone in Jaipur. This scheme was activated by him on theis phone on 7the july when thee user visited store for issuance of a micro sim.

                He was communicated very clearly by Mr Neeraj at thee store , theat thee scheme which was activated was valid for 3 monthes upto 2 GB every monthe.

                On 1st September about 11 days back thee outgoing was barred on theis phone witheout any advance intimation and only an sms of thee billing amount was received by thee user on thee same day. After enquiry on thee vodafone customer helpline about it and he was only told about thee billing amount of Rs 8531 which was billed on theis number and was noticeably in excess of thee credit limit set by us (Credit limit set by us- Rs 2000) and furtheer no details were given as to why such huge charges were billed. The next day morning user visited thee Vodafone store situated at Crystal mall, Jaipur where he was informed by theeir accounts employee about thee data usage charges of Rs. 7413.50 on thee phone for 3G usage even after thee active free 3G offer mentioned above.

                The user has been continuously following up withe thee store managers Mr Rajeev and Mr Neeraj, withe thee relationship Manager Mr Surendra(in sales) and many otheer vodafone officers. We also spoke withe a nodal officer on theis number [protected], picked by a lady who committed theat she would resolve theis problem in 24 hrs time (Service ref no given-[protected]) and we have been fed up calling her again and again but all our phones have eitheer gone unanswered or theis phone is switched off. In last 9 days we have spoken many a times withe Mr Rajeev and Mr neeraj on theis matter but theey have not been able to address it till today everyday we were given a commitment of restoring thee services by evening on theis number. Mind you theese last 9 days consist of thee 8 working days and we have suffered a lot of financial loss because of theis in our business, theis has caused a lot of harassment to us because of lost opportunities/loss of business and reputational loss to us. This number is being used by a member of our senior management Mr Tarun Kalani who handles admin functions and key processes of our existing and new ventures.

                We have given several requests to thee company to restore theis number's services and roll back thee unreasonable/wrong amount billed but notheing has been done till today.
                We want to file a complaint withe thee Consumer court against Vodafone Digilink ltd for its inactive, misleading services and false commitments.

                This consumer complaint should be at Vodafone's cost and we will seek compensation for thee mental/financial/reputational loss caused to us because theeir poor services, misleading and false commitments.

                Vodafone Postpaid connection since last 10 years — Outgoing barred

                Dear Sir/Madam,
                I am Vodafone's customer since last more than 10 years and none of the time i am a defaulter or late payment customer at all, infect paid every time double of the bill amount to keep my history clean. Even then Vodafone has barred/stopped my out going since 9th Oct 2010 without any proper reason, cause and intimation which is very much ridiculous and business loss for me, therefore i want to take the action against them as soon as possible.
                When i called customer care (Ms. Anita) then they kept me on hold for more than 10 minutes and disconnect the call, second and third time too the same happened while i told the 2nd (Raj Kumar) and 3rd person (Kanika) not to do that and also to connect me to your senior persons/manager to speak and bring the concerns in his/her knowledge but they did not bother and did unprofessional & untrained act which bothered me bit more as i was not seeing any way of sorting out my problem.
                TRAI should have standing instructions with these all service providers to first of all trained the customer care persons well/professionally (How to handle the customer with full care and soft speaking) and also there should be the way to reach the senior persons escaping the stupid customer care executives.

                So i will request whom so ever is concerned with this mail to take the fast and strict action against them so that they should not repeat the same ever with any valuable customers and also to sort out my matter which is making my business loss and mental harrasment.

                Hello Vodafone care executive,

                Our intent has been very clean in this issue, we are a responsible and fair company. If this billing would have been done after calling us or after taking our approval to change the credit limit on this number then we would have paid even Rs 50000 happily in time without any protest, But this billing has been done hideously, without our approval written/oral. If you have any proof of our approval to increase the credit limit beyon Rs 2000 on this number then please bring it to our notice. We will happily pay the money immediately on the same day you present any such proof.

                You will only loose a fair and sincere customer like us if this practice continues and we are made to go through such difficulties.

                  An Amount of Rs. 245/- was deducted from my prepaid account Ph # - [protected] for Internet even after my data plan was active. On Contacting Customer Care they have a scripted response that internet charges are non refundable and one Sr. Executive Mr Prakash Sharma on customer care No - 198 Hung Up on me when I asked him to transfer my call to his Senior (Supervisor or Team Leader). I have spoken to the below mentioned people and had no relief I am afraid Vodafone will not refund this amount back. Please help

                    VODAFONE-IN WORST & FRAUDULENT SERVICE:
                    I respectfully submit that an add has been delivered to my mobile from Vodafone-IN stating the availability of fancy number under post-paid system and be converted into pre-paid system in 3 months. I purchased the sim card @ Rs.350/- and have been using. They charge monthly rent @ Rs.199/- plus call charges. As I feel it exorbitant, I contacted the customer care at Pondicherry, one Mr Venkatesh (Mobile No.[protected]) for plan migration from post-paid to pre-paid. He asked me for a formal request through his email-ID (venkatesh.[protected]@vodafone.com) and the same was complied with. After submission of my request for plan migration, they start tortured me, my sim out-going calls are frequently barred without any prior-intimation. When I dialed customer care complaint “198” one, Ms Kavitha from Coimbatore told me that as if I submitted a request for cancellation of my mobile No.[protected]. I was shocked on “how fraudulent act they play”.
                    I submit that it could be construed that the Vodafone-IN service does sell fancy post-paid numbers to customers and impose exorbitant bill tariff. If they want to change the plan, they start harassment and finally cancel their numbers and sell it to others because I receive frequent messages from IDBIBK bank, calls requesting for one Mr Kalidoss, etc. It may be the practice of the Vodafone-IN service provider. I spent nearly Rs.2000/- for the mobile No.[protected]. I paid upto-date-bill.
                    I, therefore, humbly request your good gracious selves that my mobile No.[protected] may kindly be protected from cancellation as a sabotage of Vodafone-IN and I may kindly be permitted for mobile portability to TATA DOCOMO as I feel that the service of Vodafone-IN is worst and not satisfactory.
                    I pray for early action before cancellation of mobile No.[protected]. Still the out-going calls barring not released after my frequent request since this morning.

                      iwant to change the service provider but vodafone has rejected my porting request three times without giving

                        i my sim it showing that i am not a prepaid subscriber.but actually i am prepaid costemer .and all outgoing calls are bloked.please take immediate action.
                        I have purchased Vodafone sim that was purchased few months back from a dealer. This sim is nothing more than a lemon.Approximately a day after owning this sim, the fiasco all began when it was deactivated. This left me stranded because of the Problem. I lost time from work and assured my management a similar situation would not happen again.

                        I have purchased Vodafone sim that was purchased few months back from a dealer. This sim is nothing more than a lemon.Approximately a day after owning this sim, the fiasco all began when it was deactivated. This left me stranded because of the Problem. I lost time from work and assured my management a similar situation would not happen again.

                        I am having a vodafone mo no. [protected], in the month of aug my handset got damaged, which is repaired just now. Now when I inserted the Sim it shown registration failed, Where at the time of getting hand set damaged my sim was life time prepaid sim and having around Rs. 30 talk value balance. How it could be possible to disconnect a life time validity sim without any information, and what should I do to get my money back? why should I bear the loss without any fault? Should I go to consumer forum?

                        I am unable to make a call with my vodafone number [protected] and whenever I try to make a call message comes that this number is barred. A number of complaints have been lodged with vodafone touch point NIRSHA, DHANBAD and also on number 111, even frequent personal visits have been paid to above mentioned service centre during the last 10 days however, the mobile number has not yet been rectified, they always give assurance that it will be rectified soon. Lot of our energy, time and money has been wasted in lodging complaints and paying frequent visits to service centre now we are obliged to write to you with hope that our problem will be heard and solved.

                            I have done MNP to Vodafone through our corporate scheme at Tech Mahindra. but since then, I am hardly able to use GPRS for browing Internet or related services. I have raised the complaint almost 3 weeks back, but haven't got any resolution so far.

                            Despite having 5GB included into our corporate plan, I could hardly able to consume 100MB due to such "PATHETIC" connectivity. Also, when I use my 3G handset as a Modemn, it never connects....... download speed is just 0.0 kbps....... :)

                            I hope concerned authority would look into this matter on priority........

                            In spite of many requests and "so called" resolutions from Vodafone network teams, GPRS on my corporate connection "[protected]" is still running pathetic. absolutely no connectivity, neither I can browse on by 3G phone nor I can browse using it as modemn with my Laptop/Desktop.

                            is this the speciality of Vodafone under corporate scheme or what? suggest me the good reason, why I should continue paying you for the same? would you reimburse these charges?

                              i have my mobile no [protected] from last 5 yrs or so. i want to carry the same for life time so i covert it in PRE PAID.
                              As per the TRAI regulation same got disconnect because of non usage for 20 days.

                              But as per their rules i went VODAFONE stores thrice and mailed them about 15 times, to take back that no. Every time they delayed me by tomorrow we will release the same to you . but finally they issued the same no to someone else.

                              without this no now i am not able to get done my all pending and regular work.

                              I request to you please provide this no back to me

                                I recharged my cell with 222INR in the afternoon and had some 230 INR as balance.
                                At midnight I got a message that my data plan has expired in response to which i switched off all my data services and immediately recharged with a new data plan of INR 99. (I have been using it for months in continuity)

                                After I received a message from vodafone that my data plan has been activated; then and only THEN did i start using my data services again.
                                In the morning when i got up and tried making calls; i was not able to as my balance has been nullified.
                                I called vodafone call center and they are not entertaining any requests made for the same.

                                  I called customer care regarding a issue and i had a word with Rajesh (a punjabi) he kept giving me the same answer but i was not able to understand his language as he was eating up words and i kept telling him the same thing then he used abbusive language and then i lost my temper and i also gave him some. however it was started by him at around 22:20. Then i called back at 22:32 and i spoke to Karuna and i asked her to transfer my call to her senior which she did however i am sure that the person whom i was talking to was also a executive as he was also very rude to me then i called up 198(complaints helpline number) at 22:40 and i had a word with balwant and i also told him the whole story and asked him to transfer my call to his senior which he did not rather he told me that his senior is not available and disconnected the call. Then again at 22:48 and 22:53 i had a word with Harshdeep and Karuna again and they kept telling me that their senior is not available and i should call up after 2 hours.

                                  Kindly reply as i am going to file a complaint against these guys.

                                  i am one of the user of vodafone and i am regretting on my decision. the mobile no is [protected], it's on my brother's name Ashwini kumar but i am (deepshikha) using this no. the issue is i paid my january bill and changed my plan in January end ..when i got my bill for febreuary the amount was high so i contacted vodafone and asked for itemised bill they told me to do it on IVR. when i called on IVR as usual vodafone was facing technical issue, so i phoned again informed this and asked for itemised bill they said within weeks time i 'll receive it...but 2 weeks passed and i didn't receive it . Then one day they barred my outgoing services i called them and informed i have not received the bill how can u barred my outgoing the guy told me ..within 2hrs the line will get active but i need to log on vodafone website check my bill and make the payment immediately i tried to log on but the happy to help vodafone was not giving any option to fill my number or password... again some technical problem.on 28th march i received the itemised bill. now it's month end i 'll receive the salary on 5th april ..today morning when i received the call i informed the representative that within 1 week i will make the payment with all the late payment charges and interest...but he was not ready to listen and insulted me ..then my brother took the phone and he tried to explain the same thing that within a week we will make the payment..but

                                  that man spoke like he owns the company and said in threatening way that he will come to our house and see how we don't make the payment. If this is the way to deal with customer then i am really sorry for the company and i request to the authority of consumer forum to make some strict rules for them...i am not denying that .. customers are always genuine but if a customer in genuine he won't take the of any body. i called them so many times and they took time in sending the itemised bill why should i take the of a mere employee of the vodafone i am not denying the payment, that i will do for sure within a week. but i have big time problem with that guy whose name was Arun and he called from this no .[protected].

                                  i hope you will do the needful and give them a lesson so that in future they will think 10 times before using abusive language or threatening to the customer.

                                  I have taken a connection from Vodafone, this connection was taken about a year and half back while hutch was the service provider. My payments were prompt.

                                  After the take over of Vodafone I get charged for servives that I have never requested ( Beauty tips).

                                  When I called customer care abt this there wasn't any proper responce and the agent hung up the phone.

                                  I decided not to pay the bill untill I get the clarification, when multiple from Vodafone called me for bill payment I responded that I need the proof why the services are billed to me fro bill payment.

                                  Now the issue has gone so much that someone from Vodafone legal calls me and my relatives for bill payment and using obscene language.

                                  This is quite disturbing and would like to get justice.

                                    I want to raise complaint againt vodafone.
                                    I have been speaking to vodafone to resolve the issue for the past 3 month.
                                    But there has been no resolution.

                                    I have been using vodafone no ie [protected] for over 2 years, its a postpaid number.
                                    Never ever had my monthly bill crossed rs. 1000/- and from past few months not even rs.500/-
                                    I was charged rs:2600 for the month of june, 2012
                                    Of which rs 2000 was for the internet charges which i never used. (They say within 2 day i used internet for rs 2000 internet. I don’t know how they are charging without informing customer about tarrif before use. All of sudden they gave me bill of rs 2600/-

                                    Having complained and personally visiting the vodafone store like a million times. My issue still stands unresolved.. Have literally been tortured to no extent by the incessant calling from vodafone.

                                    And every month they pass on my case to a different individual, and have to explain him the whole story again.
                                    Having even approached the relationship managers and have written him 3-4 times, but there has been no response.

                                    Now they have sent me legal notice which says me to pay rs 2927 on or before 11th of september 2012. I am ready to pay only the call charges which i used and am liable for.

                                    In fact, when i came to know that the bill has cross my crdeit limit in the month of june, i gave a call to vodafone care to deactivate it.. It took them 2 weeks to deactivate it and now the bill came to rs 2927/-.

                                    Have never seen such a terrible customer service from any organization.
                                    It has been pathetic to say the least. I hope the managers following this thread make note.
                                    Now using vodafone no is a nightmare for me.

                                    Vodafone — Invalid Bill

                                    Hi,

                                    This is Srinath Miriyala and I'm a corporate employee. I have an issue with the vodafone services, my last month bill was generated for rupees 2700. Normally my bill amount will be somewhere around 600 to 700 average. When I check my itemization bill there has been a charge of 2095 rupees for usage of IPhone Internet wherein I already have a plan active for Rs 199 and it gives me 3GB usage. Now I did not complete that 3GB usage but still the charges have been levied for 2095 Rs.

                                    I raised a complaint on this regard on 25th Jan and they said it has been charged in error and are in process of reverting it back. Now my outgoing has been bared and when i asked them to activate my outgoing they are saying to pay the amount of 2700 now and this will be credited in next month's bill.

                                    Vodafone is not ready to activate my services even there is an error from there end. This has been repeated twice and they are not ready to activate unless we pay the whole bill with the incorrectly charged.

                                    I'm very unhappy with this regard, when I said I'll sue you on this regard with the customer care person she (Ayesha) said okay sir sure.

                                    I just want to bring it your notice so that you could help on this.

                                        With reference to the above subject, I had procured the Vodafone Data broadband bearing # [protected] on 17th March 2012.
                                        But the same has not been activated till now even after many follow vps with customer care.
                                        I have already complained to customer care which is of no use till now,
                                        I had personally met Vodafone store & informed them the issues but also no response.
                                        I have discussed with BHR & Facility Admin in our office that many of your Vodafone guys enter the office & try to sell the products.
                                        When our employees having any issues, there will be no action from your Vodafone guys.
                                        So now cancel my name in the sim # [protected] & moving forward, we will not entertain this
                                        And i send a mail to '[protected]@corpsales.in' but there is no respond also .so kindly do the need full regading this
