I have registered for the SMS package of RS 35 per month. I was surprised to find SMS charges of RS106 levied for the month of OCT - NOV 2011
On speaking to a Vodafone representative Nikhil on 29/11/2011 I was informed that I have sent out messages on Diwali day which is supposed to be a black out day. I do undersatand what is a black out day since I have not been informed about it by Vodafone nor has it been mentioned on the bill anywhere.

Please have these charges reversed or provide some documentation that was communicated to me before charges arellevied for blackout days.
Charges cannot be levied on services provided for which the customer is not informed.

I hope Vodafone has its ethics manual and follows the codes provides in its ethics manual.

I have a vodafone postpaid connection no.[protected] which i was hardly using since this is my alternate number n i had to pay monthly rental every time
i decided to convert it into prepaid and went to vodafone store sant nagar branch on 15th november...so they checked everything and agreed to convert it into prepaid but suddenly at the last moment the executive said we cannot convert it till the billing cycle ends...so i went on 24th november 2011...first of all the executive started convincing me to continue wth the postpaid scheme..on me being very firm he agreed for conversion n asked me fr my ID n photograph..i gave him my license n photograph to which he further demanded MY PAN CARD which is quite absurd...on me being harsh he agreed for the conversion...suddenly again he picked up another point that my photo in my DL is not clear so my request wudnt b processed further...i rushed back to my home n brought my passport fpr proof...i submitted a copy of my passport n photo n my postpaid sim to which i was handed over a new prepaid sim with a promise that it will get activated within 24 hours....it has beeen more den 24 hours n my fone is showing SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED.i called up customer care to which they said that due to photo not being clear my request for prepaid conversion cant be processed

WHAT THE [censored] is this?....when a customer goes for a new connection u guys provide it with no problems of photograph being unclear but when a person wants to convert it u harass the customer this way...THIS IS HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL n m sure that such executives working at vodafone store have orders of not converting into prepaid n harassing customers..
me being a businessman am suffering from lot of inconveniences because of all dis......
I Hope that vodafone people look into it or else i wiill be forced to port my number intO AIRTEL n wud also urge my family n freinds to port out oF vodafone

              Dear Sir,

Below is letter sent to Vodafone authorities at email id 'vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com'

Request your intervention to resolve this at the earliest, please.

In spite of having Lifetime recharge done on my number [protected] in Feb 2009, I find that I am unable to use my phone as my validity period did not get automatically extended as confirmed by you Customer Care Exec Mr. Dinesh, Vodafone outlet in Viman Nagar.

Also I had logged a complaint through him, Service Request No. [protected], on 23 Nov 2011, at 4.51pm. I was assured that my lifetime validity would get activated by 26 Nov 2011. Till now NOTHING has happened. I am at a loss to understand that in spite of having more than Rs. 690.00 as my balance, I am unable to use my phone.

Your Customer Care Exec. Mr. Dinesh says all he can do is to send an email. This is of no use as already I have been without any contact with anyone since 22nd ie more than 4 days NOW.

Today after waiting more than 1.5hrs at the Vodafone outlet in Viman Nagar, he very conveniently says that I will have to wait till Monday, without any connectivity whatsoever.

Request you to look into this matter and resolve at the earliest, please.

Vodafone — No life time validity

              Dear Sir,

This is to bring to your kind attention, that Mr. Ghouse Basha my collogue, has purchased life time validity card from Vodofone (formerly Hutch) he has been allocated [protected] as his phone number.

He was continuously using the phone connection and has recharged the facility at regular intervals, unfortunately due to unavoidable circumstances he could not do the recharge in the recent time.

As per the terms and conditions which the marketing person has explained to him, he was under the impression that the validity of the number will be active though the recharge has not been performed, ie he would be in position to receive call though he could not make any out going calls.

However now the fact is that he is not able to receive any incoming calls, per discussion with the customer care executive who explained him that the incoming calls will also be barred if the recharge has not been performed at regular intervals.

My humble request to you is that is please explain me what is the purpose of marketing a product that it has life time validity and which in reality has not at least the facility of incoming calls to be facilitated to the customer as per the description catalogue of the product.

And now he could not recharge the validity of the card since the scheme has been scraped in entirety.

I‘ll appreciate if my friends grievance can be resolved from your end. Or some steps has been taken to avoid such false advertisement.

              Thanking you

              Yours truly,

              R. Baskar.

This is regarding my vodafone 3G services and the billing format.
I have taken a new vodafone connection recently (15th October 2011)
I have asked for Rs 249 plan (for calls) and for 3G I choose to go with Rs 850 (3GB) plan.
In which we can use 3 GB services and over and above whatever the usage is will be charged 2 paise per 10KB.
I have payed Rs 500 initial deposit amount.and upon that I have paid Rs 2386 on 4th November as my services were barred and received an sms saying that I have crossed the credit limit.
to restore my services I have paid the amount.
                No is[protected].
I have used 3G services from 18th October to 6th November.
my services were again barred from 7th November onwards saying that I have to pay Rs Rs 4356 again.
Since then I have been sending mails and calling customer services to solve the matter but of no use.
Now I have received a bill saying that I have to pay Rs 8, 266.

My total usage of 3G services is

Total Usage 3970420 KB (3.[protected] in GB)

from which they have to deduct 3 GB and charge me for 824692 KB as 2 paisa for 10 KB (which was told me when I was taking the plan and as per the website as on today (http://www.vodafone.in/3gworld/pages/3g_serivces.aspx?hc=5&cid=hyd)

Now they are saying that (customer care) that they are charging me as per new plans which are came being iposed from last week (there was no intimation regarding this to me or any other customer).

Request you to do the needful.

                          hi

this is to complain that recently i recieved an Email from BMW lottery board stating that i have won 769465 pounds that has been pproved by Bank Of England and same will be delivered to me on 4th Jan but they are asking to pay 48000 indian currencey
but the problem here is that how to belive that it is true or fraud as there have been may instances with other persons in Delhi
so this is a complaint that such lottery amount should be delivered after deducting the taxes and all and should not ask the winner to pay at the time of delivery that creates a fear and suspect of being fraud

                          Hello all,

Do not call back to any one and don't try to reply their email at any cost. they can be theif or terrorist, those can user your account and phone no. for their needs.

I also know that there are some software who can record the message and recent contacts from your phone and user them. so beware about these (BEEP) calls.

Note# There is nothing without some effort, the guys who played lottery only those can win, if we did not play a single trick so how you can trust that you can win 25lakhs . Its just a joke. hahahaha

                          Thanks

I understand the fact that I have an unpaid account with Vodafone New Zealand and I have called them to cancel my fixline and broadband account so that we are able to pay it off without them charging me monthly connection for the broadband which they have blocked me from using for 3 months now and yet I get billed :(

I received a Phone Call from Vodafone this morning to discuss a payment plan, which was more planned for their purposes then it was for my purpose and the situation I am in to pay that Account, even though I had told them I could not afford to pay the amount of $74.00 a week for 3 months, but offered to pay $20.00 per week instead because we just simply could not afford too even if we tried.

What was said to me was they were not going to accept that offer and pass it on to a collection agency, was that going to scare me, I don't think so.

Because I can ignore that Collection Agency for 5 years and that Bill will disappear, it does have it's downside, you will not be able to make Higher Purchases etc during that 5 Years.

However my complaint is this company is willing to do this to people that are actually willing to pay the account but on our own terms which is affordable for us at this time. Times are really hard and yet these corporate business don't give a damm about it's customers.

My husband Mr Chandramurali Iyer had been working with Vodafone since 2005. He expired in October, 2010. His PF settlement is yet to be received by me. He expired while working in Mumbai and prior to this was with them in Delhi. For the last 13 months have been continously following with Vodafone, Mumbai and filled in two sets of forms as apparently one set was lost in the PF office. I request someone in the Mumbai/Delhi PF office to look into this urgently and help me get my payment. I am based out of Gurgaon.
