I am a customer of Vodafone and have activated DND since 3 years. Recently I started getting like 5 calls a day from Yatra.com (+[protected] and were making my life a hell.(Thank god I have a little black list feature in my cell phone)

I tried making a complaint with Vodafone on 198, but they asked me to dial 111 and disconnected the call in 10 seconds. I don't think this is the way you really talk to your customer?

I am never able to contact a customer care executive through 111.

I have applied to port on Aircel. They handle these request carefully.

But I still wanted others to know whats happening with vodafone and yatra.com
Due to some reason i have deactivated my connection and give a request for the re-activation the connection.
As on 24th September 2011 i have received the New sim and after that i continusally conntaced your customer care but no one has ready to help me out with same concern.
24-Sep-11<> Ms.Navjeet Kaur(Escalation team) she has commited me that the same information will be update in next 2 hrs.
24-Sep-11<> Mr> Mukesh Kumar<> He also committed me that it will take 4 hours to update the same information.
25-Sep-11<> Mr.Sandeep Singh(Escalation Team) he give me new informaion that due to outstanding amount of INR 31 due to this SIM related informtion is not updated.
Today i pay INR 50 thorough Credit card and again call after 4 hours and told her the entite story from the begining, and asked for the Escalation, she put me hold for the 6 mintue, but no one give me the information and she disconnect the call.
Mr.Sandeep singh(Escalation team) has give a assurance the if you clear your outstanding amount the same infomation will be updated within 4 hours.
But till the date nothing has been done.
When i asked for the written commitement from Mr.Sandeep Singh(Escalation Team) he refuse to do the same, he told him TRAI norms regarding the same, i asked for the call back he refuse to do the same.
Please suggest me what should i do now ??
Should i continue to with your service or not??
What you mean by Happy to Help ??
Is this is my falut to using your serives for the last 3years.

Kindly suggest me how can i terminated my service from your pathic network??
I am from Delhi using vodafone for last one year and I faced a lot many problem in its service, apart from network problem, value added services got activated automatically without any consent o[censored]ser. When I tried to complain by writing mails as they never answer call no response came from the concerned authority and at last when I called Nodal Officer she just said that I should have activated DND services. So make sure when you are going for vodafone, do activate DND services or maintain balance less than 15 - as they are always ready to deduct balance by any means HAPPY TO DEDUCT instead of HAPPY TO HELP should be used by vodafone as its tagline. Very soon I am going to disconnect this network and won't suggest any one to go for vodafone...

    I am Vodaphone customer , Mobile No [protected]. I have visited three times to Krishna Nagar , vodaphone store. it's very bad experience from the mobile store. while I have taken the post paid connection , they have taken security deposit of RS. 250/- ( Two hundred & fifty ). They have assured me after six month . when you changed the plan from postpaid to prepaid they will adjust the security deposit (Rs.250) from the outstanding bill. I also got the confirming call from vodaphone company. But now they denied to do this. Unnecessary they are creating problem to provide the service.

    Pls do the needful from your end.

      I had taken vodafone unlimited yearly plan o[censored]sb data card worth rs.7500/-which was finishing on 20 june 2011. They continued my no. without intimating it to me.Then too i agreed to pay the bill for the month of jule 2011 as per 699/-rupess unlimited monthly plan but they did nt provide me any hard copy of bill nor mail.I had personally gone to vodafone gallery mulund for stopping this system which is still kept continued by them till date and now they are forcing me to pay bill of more than 3000/- (by applying plan of 899/-unlimited monthly) and forcefully telling me that i have used internet during thisperiod whereas i had given in weitten to stop this service from 20 july 2011 then y will i use it. I came to know recently that they have not yet stopped this service.

      Kindly help me in this matter.

        Hello Sir.
        I recently switched my network from BSNL to VODAFONE, portability was complete by 14th sept 2011, since then i am trying to recharge my number with RC48 so that i can enjoy V2V call rate of 1p/3s day time and 1p/6s after 11pm to every local number along with 10lakh V2V free msgs, but i always recieve a msg saying that i can't use this service right now, please sir help me out with this as soon as possible.
        My Vodafone number is:-[protected].
        I tried connecting myself to vodafone costumer care, they did nothing for 7days and now i am even recieving an error in trying to speak to vodafone executives, i am seriously having a very bad time with vodafone.
        I will be thankful to you if i am allowed to use these services as soon as possible.

          Dear Officer,
          I bought a ''Blackberry pearl flip 8220'' on[protected], and since i bought this phone i have regular and constant working problems and various issues with this set.These are the problem i had with the phone with the dates i handed them to the customer care ''vodafone store gaurav tower jaipur'''

          Bluetooth and Wifi enabling problem

          2. Audio Speaker not working,charging problem, 2497 [protected]
          low battery backup,wifi connectivity problem.
          (recommended to change handset and got a new set)

          3.Frequent random restarts; phone restarts anytime. 3114 [protected] Ask to change the handset and replace the battery,but got
          that handset again with the same battery.
          I got the handset again and still having the problems i
          mentioned above of ''frequent random restarts''.

          So officer take a look at the problems i mentioned above and if i dont get a satisfactory reply in a week, I'll be force to lodge a complaint against u guys in the ''Consumer Court''.

            With regard to my complaint , i went to vodafone store and to my surprise my number [protected] has been deactivated & released in the market..............
            they are talking of some clause that in 6 months min. recharge of 200 is must............
            i think i had recharged about 200.......
            If this was a clause they didnt inform me even once that your number will be deactivated & you recharge it.......
            The person at VODA store says that there was an intimation......
            bt i didnt get any intimation...............
            My balance around Rs.40 was also forfeited...........

            Mu number was deactivated due to negative verification on account of reference number and that too was because of irresponsibility of their executive sitting and distributing new connections. He told me to give my frnd's number in reference who himself was taking a new connection. I have submitted reference number form on Monday (1st June'09) but my number has not been activated yet on wednesday too (4th June'09).
            Can somebody tell me what is the implication of line "Happy to help"???
            I dont think there is anyone in vodafone whi is happy to help.
            The executive doesn't even picks up the phone to listen to ur problem. Can anybody tell me what could be done against such executives of vodafone??

            I am holding vodafone mobile no:[protected] which was de activated on saturday. I have already submitted documents on monday , in sector 19 vodafone store, but my number has still not been activated. I have contacted vodafone customer care atleast 20 times for activating my vodafone number but i never get any satisfactory answer excepte waiting for one more day. Due to deactivation of my phone i have missed many important calls which has effected my career badly. I want a strict action to be taken against vodafone for doing mental harasment of mine.

            I Ashok panjabi applied for number mobile number portibity from airtel to Vodafone and the same accepted by company and its executive collected the document from my recidence and then they didnt provided me sim card i have to collect from Panvel gallery and after televerification my number activated but after 2 hours o[censored]sage my number again deactivated and i called customer care for 4 times and every time i was said that i have to wait for sometime and my whole day gone in this. My number is still deactivated without any reason and i suffered heavy bussiness loss as my clients tried to contact me but i m not in contact because of Vodafone

              Sir, I am Vodafone user, they give an offer that on bonus recharges, that the 25% of the money will credit on us account with in 24 hours. I recharged the bonus 148. But they do not credit 25% on my account. I complained in their customer care 111. The officer told that they going to credit with in 24 hours, but problem not cleared. I called him, this continues for 3 times after & after 24 hours. Next time they told that to be cleared with in 6’o clock on 02.06.09. But not cleared. And finally told the date to clear on 08.06.09. But still problems continues. I extremely worried about it, and they wasted my golden times on waiting on the line.
              I want to give one complaint on them that they to repay my 25% and penalty them for minimum 25lakhs on wastage of my golden times and my worries about it. they cut my customer calling service also. I complaint this also from another number. But still that problem also continues. So I grandly request you to solve my problem and please take action on it.               I have recharged 97 rupees for internet sevice on 5th march

              I Had opted to port my number from the service provider (Vodafone) what i was using to a different service provider they provided me the port no. then on the next day from the customer care Vodafone on of the executive called me and asked me what is the problem that you are facing from our service, the i told them that if i recharge with top up scratch card the amount shows me that Rs. 25.20 is been credited to your account Example if i had Rs.10, balance after recharging it should be Rs. 35.20. Instead of that it shows me 33.20, and i told them that if i recharge with easy recharge through mobile from the shop instead of the top up card it will get recharged Rs. 23.20/- this is what i explained to them. Then they told me you can go for different plan, i asked which is the best at low cost then the executive (Female) she told me that you can recharge for Rs. 29, that is 1/2 paisa per call to all service provider including the landlines, then she told that you can continue with this plane. Then she told that first time we will recharge from our side so i said ok then there was no balance in my account then i recharged for Rs.30/- then they detected Rs. 29/-, from my account, then i called the customer care center then they told it will be refunded to you account. so then they did, after that i used it for two months with the same plane and then 16/08/2011 was the last date for the second month recharge, i recharged for Rs. 30/ on 16/08/2011 then on 17/08/2011 i went and recharged for Rs. 29/-, the plane did not get activated and the amount for each call was deducting 50 paisa for each call, so i called the customer care center on 18/08/2011 at evening because i thought it will be activated only after 24 hours, but the executive who took the call (Male) he told that sorry for the inconvenience sir it will be rectified with i 4 hours. so i thought i will get activated, it did not get activated then i called on 19/08/2011 at evening again one of the executive (Male) a Muslim person he told who told you i will get active within 4 hours, sir it will take minimum of 24 hours, the i told i already given the complaint about this he gave to team leader then he also told it will rectified within 2 hours then that also did not happen then again i called the customer care on 20/08/2011, one of the executive (Male) a Muslim person he told there is some problem he told you have to wait till Monday and again the same team leader also told the same thing it can rectified by Monday. Then i told them what about the calls i made and the amount paisa 50 got deducted for each call after recharging for Rs. 29/- then they told it cannot be refunded. They told the recharge for Rs. 29/- what you did will be refunded. And the executive told that this plane is no more you can go for a different plane. This is not the first time what is happening to me for the fourth time for different reasons in kormangala, indiranagar and kalyannagar twice
              Respected sir, i have done a recharge on a mobile no [protected] of amount Rs47 .
              The recharge was succesful a msg also i got but i dont receive any balance of 38.83 rupees and 1 Vodafone night minute.

                I had another worst experience with Vodafone Kolkata Simcard no.[protected].I recharged with rs 103/- for 100MB data usage on 19-sep-2011 8:44 PM and activation SMS stating the activation of 3g pack was received on 19-sep-2011 8:54 PM still I am getting deducted of balance at 10p/10kb starting from 19-sep-2011.Balance was 78.08 to 77.98 to 77.88 to 77.78.

                A Vodafone Facebook Discussion Board Team Exectuive admitted and refunded me Rs 47.2 as it was genuine fault from vodafone back end for deducting balance even after activation of 3g pack.What is the use of such refunds??.If VMC &VL usage of 3g data deducts from my account. She also told me that the problem has been reported to the concerned vodafone team and assured that problem will be positively resolved by 23-sep-2011.

                It is 24-sep-2011,still 3g pack of Rs 103 is not yet activated.Now my balance was 56.48 was reduced to 56.38 for using VMC.
                Even after paying Rs 103 for having 3g experience,the company is adopting malpractices for harassing me.Please do take necessary action.

                    I have got 3 vodafone numbers on my name where 1 is used by me and the other 2 by my family. Ihave been using these numbers for more than 3 yrs now and the payments were going through ECS from my credit card. last month my credit card expired due to date validity and i received a new one. Vodafone had been sending mails on payment and been calling my wife and mother through collections agents but they never bothered to ask me to provide my new card details. I went to Vodafone store on August 24th 2011 at Vadapalani and cleared my bills and also gave a written SI to take future payments on ECS, on 18thSep 2011 i received an SMS stating the my SI was just activated it took close to 25 days to activate a service for customer, despite this my payment for September 2011 has not been debited, when i was out of station collection agent have been calling me and my family members asking me to pay the amount. The services of one of my mobile number has been barred, when contacted customer care they say that your connections are fine and they are not able to answer why the ecs was not debited.

                    The relationship manager - uday called me on 20th sep 2011 and assured to get back on the same day evening to resolve this issue and till date no one has reverted back, and the services of all my numbers are being barred one by one.

                    This is really a harrasing a guy called KIRAN - [protected] has been calling continiously asking to pay the bill, when payments are being made with out default for more than 3 years and when required documents are provided well in advance why ae customers being treated like a piece of crap for no fault of theirs..........Kindly do not subscribe vodaone their services are going down the drain......

                      So many times I have wrote to vodafone people but all in vein..also logged a complaint on vodafone complaint page ......PLEASE HELP to resolve the below complaint which i have sent to vodafone company so many times

                      I have been a vodafone customer for a very long , my contact number is [protected] ... till April2011, I have no complaints. But When I received the Bill for the month of May, I was surprised to see the LIVE charges mentioned in the itemised bill ....I never requested for this services.... even I didnot download or open any website....I did regular follow up with customer care and corporate customer care but all in vein........please clear my below points:
                      1. I have opted TV TODAY Corporate plan for Rs 100 , STD charges are not same as offered in rs 249 plan , If I make STD call you will charge as per my plan not start charging as per rs 249/- plan..if I want to change my plan then I have to contact customer care for such changes .....without my consent you will not facilitate me any service....then why you activate LIVE service without my consent
                      2. at the time of corporate connection you have offered us 'just pay Rs 99 @month and you can use unlimited NET service/GPRS/Live service ' which I never opted as I don't have time and not fond off these things.......if need LIVE services then I must opted Rs99/- offer, why should I spend more for the same
                      3. If any one opted for GPRS services then you people send the setting and customer has to save the same, then only it will start working.....when You have send me the setting, pl explain
                      4. our corporate connection is looking after by Ms Neha and Mr wasim......several time I have send the complaint to resolve the issue and settle down my account, but they refuse to help me out from this......I have already told them that I will pay only for my actual usage of telephone calls , i.e rs 240 till 3rd september ............. my vodafone connection is not working from september'11.
                      5. If I will not get a positive response from you on above problem I will go to consumer court as I have already discussed this case with one of my advocate neighbour.

                        Please go through the attached details and continue mail received from Vodafone. Actually We have send the request to change my earlier plan DLF CUG 249 to DLF CUG 99 as per attached details and trail mail. It was activated on 03.08.2011 as per confirmation mail received from Vodafone (attached). In DLF CUG 99 plan the uses of Vodafone mobile connect is Rs. 199/ for unlimited usage. But at the time of billing Vodafone has charged the GPRS uses as per our old plan DLF CUG 249. Also on my request vodafone peoples have told this charge o[censored]nlimited uses @ Rs 199/ will be activated on 03.09.11. We have send the attached details of confirmation date of plan change then vodafone peoples have told that VMC was not activated. If you go through no where it was mention to activation of VMC. I have confirmed by other office college they have not send any seperate request for activation of VMC. Now further you have reply me repeated answer but no conclusion.
                        I don’t know why you people are manipulating the same things. I am sending continue mail about this issue and I need proper justification not repeated answer.

                        Vodafone — Bill is not charged as per plan

                        Hello,
                        I have taken Talk Roam plan 299 with addition of talk vodafone @ rs 1, and i was told in that plan that i will charged Rs 1 on my call where ever i am. on my all national call

                        but when i received my bill i found that i have been charged as normal roaming tarrif... and i was fooled by the company by giving me normal plan in the name of talk roam plan

                        after paying Rs 300 for this plan i am not getting any other benefit also
                        [protected]-PATHETIC SERVICES
                        1) CALLER TUNE FACILITY - which was never asked for by me and was mysteriously activated on my line. futhermore on calling on 111 for disconnection of the facility -various explainations were given...

                        2) ASTRO PACK- this too mysteriously began...and I have never availed of any updates.

                        I have still not received any explanation in writing as to why they cannot credit my account for the services I never requested for, inspite of me providing proof and hardcopies of the bills at their gallery(Hyper city), The complete case has been explained and documented in your system and it is very clear that your customer service team has handled the case very badly.
                        The customer service also have mentioned that this case is genuine and the charges needed to be reversed but till date the customer service is disconnecting the line and reconnecting the line at their own whims and fancies and are expecting me to pay for services not utilised by me.
                        Customers should be careful as Vodafone themselves disconnect the line and then reconnect and charge reconnection charges which should not be paid as in my case all dues which were payable by me were paid timely.

                          I HAVE SERIOUS GRIEVANCES AGAINST VODAFONE MOBILE SERVICE PROVIDER----DESPITE COMPLAINING SEVERAL TIMES THEY HAVE FAILED TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE[protected]INSTEAD THEIR CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVES ARE EVASIVE---DONOT REGISTER THE COMPLAINT AND KEEP PASSING ON THE BUCK----

                          HERE I ENUMERATE THREE INSTANCES WHERE ILLEGAL DEDUCTIONS HAVE BEEN DONE:-



                          1) Shabby gprs service and resultant fleecing of customers
                          vodafone offers internet daily pack with 40 mb download limit for 4 rs
                          /Day and also 10kb/10paise volume based plan ( which is quite
                          expensive I.E for 40 mb it will come to 250rs apx. In volume based
                          plan)
                          I on 18/8/2011, sms *444*5# to activate 4rs/Daily internet pack at 7
                          am-----no confirmatory message regarding the pack activation was
                          received ----neither I was helped by their complaint helpline 198 on
                          this issue
                          I sent an sms ‘use’ to 144(gprs toll- free number regarding usage
                          balance for gprs customers)----message came u have 41150kb usage to
                          use till 19/8/[protected]I again sought clarification from 198 complaint
                          helpline regarding activation(as this type of message can come only
                          after activation)---the personnel were clueless and rude ----I was
                          told----“if the usage is available use it---pack might have been
                          activated’’
                          I again sent an sms ‘use’ to 144(gprs toll- free number regarding
                          usage balance for gprs customers)---- just to confirm----again message
                          came u have 41150kb usage to use till 19/8/2011.
                          Reassured I used internet , to my horror after using the net for 10
                          minutes my balance dropped from 43.524 to 31.724 rs ----net loss of
                          11.80 rs for 1156kb usage under volume based plan(this I was informed
                          when I lodged the complaint with 198 complaint helpline)
                          I requested for 4rs/Daily 40 mb pack, was given the impression by
                          vodafone personnel and the reply to sms ‘use’ to 144(gprs toll free
                          number regarding usage balance for gprs customers)---that pack might
                          have been activated ,,but above instance highlights how I was cheated
                          in the garb of daily internet pack, I was billed on the basis of
                          volume based plan.
                          For 1156 kb usage under daily internet pack 4rs had been sufficient, I
                          was billed 11.80 rs ,all due to inefficiency of vodafone personnel and
                          deceptive nature of vodafone sms
                          why internet pack was not activated in the first place?no satisfactory
                          answer despite repeated requests
                          why on an sms ‘use’ to 144(gprs toll free number regarding usage
                          balance for gprs customers))----message came u have 41150kb usage to
                          use till 19/8/2011?—this I tried 10-12 times—before making use of
                          internet----no satisfactory answer despite repeated requests

                          2) on 8/9/[protected]on switching on my number (which was switched off) my balance dropped by rs 3 from 8.9 to 5.[protected]

                          an unsolicited unwarranted flash qiuz service is going on at my mobile phone-----

                          as per 198 complaint helpline i was told that by accident u would have replied to the quiz questions resulting in deduction[protected]which i am not sure as i just switched on the phone on reaching delhi----

                          i told him(198) to stop this unwarranted value added service of flash qiuz to which he said it was by default active

                          he could not lodge the complaint for this 3 rs deduction-

                          3) AGAIN ON 20.9.[protected]an unsolicited callertune service was activated on my phone number without my consent -rupee one was deducted before it was deactivated[protected]
                          complaint helpline 198 refused to lodge the complaint

                          this arbitrary deductions and rudeness of their personnel has harassed me a great deal---and cause unquantifiable mental trauma and monetary losses

                          sir i hv been sending international messesages which is always pending & fails in delivery report but still rs 5 gets deducted frm my accts which is a unfair according 2 trai if the messeages gets undelivered or failed d company cannot deduct d money but dis vodofone ppl they deduct plz see dis ppl should pay fr dis malpractice
                          I have recharged Rs.50.00 on Dt.11.12.09. On 12.12.09 at 10.35 am. I received a call from customer care about the voda chart service, after 10 sec. end the call (didn't switching any key other than end key).At 3.05 p.m I received a message that voda chart service has been activated on my mobile. Then I call to the customer care how they activate the said service in my number. They replied me that, it happened due to my mobile operation. I tried my level best to make them understand that, it didn’t happen due to my mobile operation. But they told me that I was only responsible for that activation & they can’t refund me for that. Then I ask for do not disturb service. I send a message as they directed. They told me that this service will activated on this number with in 45 days. On that same day at at 10.25 pm I received a message that the caller tune service was activated on my number. I was again surprised & became sad when I found that Rs. 30.00 again deducted from my account & the balance was – Rs.9.18. Then I immediate ring to the Customer care & ask. About this. They replied me that some friend of mine requested them to do so. And the most shocking thing was they can’t tell me from which number the request was came.


                          One thing I can’t understand that how can they deduct such huge amount from customer account without asking once.

                          Vodafone — Self Deduction of mobile balance and Refusal to lodge complaint and harassment by customer care

                          The Vodafone has self activated the VAS "Music Junction Service" with a message from the 543213 informing about its activation and deduction of INR 30 from the mobile balance. Upon trying to lodge the complaint, the customer care, when trying to connect to the customer service representative, states that "Your request cannot be completed at the moment". The same response has been from the grievance phone number as well as while trying to lodge complaint from an alternate number "[protected]", the customer service representative refused to lodge the complaint while harrowing us for 24 minutes on the call. Upon calling the customer care again when again trying to connect to the customer service representative, states that "Your request cannot be completed at the moment". The customer care has BLUNTLY REFUSED to address the complaint and stated that they will NOT lodge any complaint for the fear o[censored]s moving to consumer forum.
                          I AM FACING THE SAME PROBLEM ON MY 3 DAYS OLD VF NUMBER. THIS COMPNY SIMPLY DEDUCTS MONEY WITHOUT YOUR KNOWLEDGE. WHEN YOU CALL THEM, THEY DON'T GIVE COMPLAIN NUMBER. MAKE YOU WAIT FOR COUPLE OF MINUTES AND CHARGE YOU. JUST STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

                              Am having one vodafone prepaid sim card ([protected]) where i was using my internet on my computer and recharge my sim @Rs.98/- (2GB) for 30 days.

                              I recharged my internet pack on 8th September, 2011 and suddenly i got one sms on 19th September, 2011 12:32am that i have completed my free browsing limit. I also had some Rs.25 in my account. I have stopped browsing my net after 30 minutes once i get the sms from their end. But morning when i tried to checked my mails, i can't able to access my internet. So i have checked my balance and found my balance amount has been deducted from my account and moreover i got shocked when i saw my balance was showing - (minus) Rs.99.79.

                              So I request to put this complaint against Vodafone (Assam) asap.

                              With reference to your mail. I have already mentioned that i have stopped browsing my net after 30 minutes when i had received your sms. My balance account has been deducted which was some Rs.25.XX paisa. Moreover i got the minus balance of Rs.99, 79/-.

                              Your normal rate is Rs.0.10 paisa per 10kb and if you calculate you're putting the bill of Rs. 124.00 paisa, ie; 124MB (minimum).

                              As per your maximum speed on cell phone is only 15kbps So, how come you can deduct the said amount this way once i have stopped browsing my net after 30 minutes?

                              Sorry to tell you that even the technical guys are not able to explain me the reason properly. They just tell me the amount is getting deducted which he/she has seen in on your server. I was not getting any kind of problem in Bangalore, Karnataka till 4th June, 2011. Am thankful to the people who have given me a great response as well as their service.

                                VODAFONE/Data Card — Connection getting disconnected frequently!!

                                Just to bring this to your notice we took a DATA CARD with plan of Rs5999 Data only plan, 1GB free every month and in case we exceed this limit then charges applicable, When we get our bill we see that a we are billed under a wrong plan of RS 499 of monthly rental, have visited the vodafone center located in sec-18 noida, more than 10 times a month, beyond this every week internet gets disconnected and every week we have to visit vodafone centers located in sec-18, its beyond the limit now this is strictly unprofessional, i would want if you can highlight this case and rectify my problem, the executive have been very unprofessional in handling this as he always leaves the complaint unactivated and today when we tried to raise the complaint with them, they did not respond at all.
                                i totally agree on this...

                                  I have been a Vodofone (TN) customer (Mobile # :[protected] for more than 10 years starting from the period when it was known as BP US West. Been having a very challenging time with Vodofone in the last six months. The episode started off when our company had submitted all proof of documents thrice as per TRAI, the Officer at the Vodofone Store (R.S.Puram, Coimbatore ) did not understand the procedure / documentation of Limited companies, disconnected the line arbitarily without any request from our end when all payments and documentation was in order. As it was a number that was being used for 10+ years and I was about to leave overseas on a business trip I was left with no alternative but to seek the help of another Vodofone store. The Vodofone store at Saibaba Colony, Coimbatore informed that they would re-issue the connection on a personal name as it would be easier to process. They charged an activation fee of Rs.550/- along with Rs.6999/- for my Black Berry. For reasons known to them the connection could not be activated on the personal name and they stated that they would revive the connection in the old ID but wanted a deposit of Rs.5000/- which I promptly paid on the spot. In total I had paid Rs. 12,549/- for already an existing connection. Inspite of paying Rs.12,549/- the connection was not activated and I was told the same would be up and running in 24 hours. My office kept on following up for 4 days but nothing happened. I was left without a phone and had to leave overseas and was assured that the phone would work. For over 4 weeks the phone did not work and on my return to the country the same state existed. On visit to Vodofone Saibaba colony store, I was informed that the line would get activated in 48 hours, it did not happen due to some technical issue with Black Berry services. After a couple of visits the line got activated.
                                  In the mean while they served me a bill of approx Rs.2300 for a period when I did not use my BB and insisted on payment although I had paid Rs.6999/- as advance rental for the BB , they also charged me for the internet though it was packaged with the BB Plan. I had no option but to pay the money and then resolve it later just to retain the number. The subsequent month the problem did not get resolved and the served another bill for approx 2250/- which included BB charges for the month and Internet charges without adjusting for any past payments. Again was left with no option but to pay just to retain the number. By now , more than Rs.17500/- was paid for a actual usage of less than Rs.3000/-.
                                  Inspite of several visits to Vodofone store, the issue remained and I was always told everything is handled and next month bill would be in order.
                                  In the firstweek of September, my phone was disconnected without any notice and I get a call from their Payments team stating that my bill has exceed Rs.14,500+ and I need to immediately pay up if my line has to be activated otherwise the number would not be available. I rushed to the Vodofone Saiababa colony store and checked with the helpdesk, the person insisted that my usage was only Rs.450/- and there is enough balance and I need not pay. The line got activated back after 8 hours. The next day again the line was disconnected and a SMS was sent stating that I should pay up Rs.16,850/-. I was left with no option as I had a series of overseas client calls on the number but to immediately pay up Rs.16,850/- so as to make the line live. The line got activated after 6 hours. By now Vodofone had taken over Rs.34,000/- for an actual usage of less than Rs.4K. The very next day the line was disconnected with an SMS stating that Rs.6850/- had to be paid.

                                  As there was no resolution coming from Vodofone store, I decided to pay up Rs.6850/- and then take up the issue with the Nodal officer. By now the total amount paid to Vodofone in four months was in excess of Rs.40,000/- when the actual bill is less than Rs.4000/-.

                                  The worst part has been the attitude of Vodofone Customer care team. I have been repeatedly requesting for an appointment with their Nodal officer for the last 11 days over telephone and email. I have been made to talk to four different individuals who would always say they would get back but nothing would happen. This includes the Regional Customer Care Manager and Sr. Nodal Desk people. The sad part is I was told that I need to go to Chennai to meet their Nodal officer , when I requested them to send me an email with address and time for the meeting at Chennai nothing has come in yet. The fact is Vodofone's Nodal office for ROTN (Rest of Tamilnadu Circle other than Chennai) is located in Coimbatore as per Vodofone's website and TRAI's website lists the Nodal office for this Circle as Coimbatore. The Executive's mindset the customer can be fooled and if repeatedly ignored customers would give up. Yes, customers would give up but definitely would move on to other service providers.

                                  I am not sure if Brand Vodofone would do this to a customer in the UK? I hope some one from Vodofone corporate cares for customers in India.

                                  Vodafone KANCHIPURAm server is down for more than one hour and the response from the shop attender also not have full information. Irresponsible answers getting.

                                  When the server will up ? The answer I got 2 hour that too not sure. Leading telecom having this type problem then think about customer network. This shop not have phone to check serve is up or not.

But I have been going through a bad experience from the staffs ... The staffs are under educated and have no manners... When I said the behaviour of the staff is bad, the manager at the stores said u can even tell less than zero I do not care
                                  I am not worried about the cheap staffs but I want my problem to come to end...Hope this msg reaches management and my problem to be solved ... From a unhappy vodofone user.

                                        bahot der ke baad jab woh activete nhi hua to mene mene Rs.4 wala pack daala magar fir bhi koi infom msg nhi aaya to fir mene vodafone customber care ko caal kia unhe ho ne bola thodi der me ho jayega unse baat karne ke baad foran msg aa gaya ki aap ka activete ho gaya hai pahle Rs.4 wala msg aaya fir uske baad Rs.26 wala aaya tha
                                        me do din tak net use kia net user karte time mere 500mb me se charge cut ho raha tha me har time net user karne ke baad foran net or other balance check karta tha to mere jitne other balance hote the utne hi dikhata tha usme se kuch cut nhi karta tha to me yahi soch ke use karta raha ki mere net pack use ho raha hai magar 2 din ke baad shaam ko kareeb 6pm ko mere brother ne balance chk ki to shi tha magar jese hi dusri baar check kia to mera account negative me chala gaya woh bhi pure Rs.432 fir mene customer care se baat ki to unhone kaha me apne senior se baat karwata hu magar 30min wait karne ke baad phone disconnect ho jata tha mene 3 ya 4 time try kia magar har baar yahi hota tha 3o min wait karwa ke phone cut jata tha to me vodafone ke mini stor me gaya waha apni problam batai to unhone kaha ki server se aap ka account information 6 ghante ya 24 me active hota hai magar sir mene airtel ki ka bhi net use kia hai uska kabhi negative me nhi jata jitna blance hota hai utna chalta hai uske baad nhi chalta or woh usi time bata dete hai ki aap ka net pack khatam ho gaya hai jis se hum dubara use nhi karte and sir mere sim me bhi pahle Rs.-70 me the magar mene baad me chk kia to Rs.-632 me chale gaye eh hume up to date information nhi dete aap pls inka kuch kariye eh chhor hai sir pls aap inka kuch karo
