I have paid 1500 RS (2 months of 750 RS per month) for Internet Dongle with Vodafone [protected] I have not even used this for one month I have to travel out of country for Work and unfortunately I don't remember this above said Number for which I want to make safe custody payments since then I have been following up with Vodafone for my Number so that I can put my Sim on Safe Custody but I never got any response. Later am still getting bills, I have never Used the dongle even for two months which I have paid already on top of that I have been asked to pay 1800 RS by Vodafone. I kept chasing for closing this service even that was not done. I have even reached TRAI waiting for them to respond even nothing I am seeing from there end too.

    I made an online recharge for 1GB 3G Internet on my prepaid number [protected] yesterday, as I have done multiple times in the past. I clicked 'buy now' on the mobile Internet page and paid via credit card. Today, I find that the plan had not been activated, but rather I had been given some vodafone to vodafone minutes, which I don't need. Furthermore, thinking that my plan had been activated, I used 3G and ~Rs 200 were deducted from my prepaid balance in one day! When I asked vodafone, the customer service representative was rather patronizing and rude. When I asked that this is not the plan I ordered from the website, she suggested that I forget about the issue and told me to just use the vodafone to vodafone minutes instead, in a very patronizing manner, as if she had more important things to do. She also suggested that I don't know how to recharge online and I had made a mistake in the recharge process. She also refused to let me speak to a senior representative. The call was made today at 1:29 PM from [protected], and the customer service representative refused to tell her name clearly when asked. I would also like to file an official complaint against the customer service representative.

      My name is Hemal Jhaveri. I have been using Vodafone service for at least 7 to 8 years. Since the past couple of years all my bills are paid through auto-debit on my credit card. However, Vodafone decided to credit the amount of Rs.1850 of my June bill back to my credit card company without intimating me. For 3 months they didn't inform me or add the due amount to the next bill cycle. Out of the blue, on 22nd of September I received an SMS from Vodafone telling me Rs.1850 is overdue and I need to pay the amount immediately. I have made numerous calls to their help lines and even written emails to explain this amount. They've barred my outgoing for the same reason. Till the 2nd of October they couldn't tell me exactly what this outstanding amount was. Finally one of their call centre executives explained that due to a technical error the amount was reversed back to my credit card. The outstanding from June now features in directly in my September bill with late fee charges. The outstanding money was picked up on the 4th of October. However, my outgoing calls are still barred and am left without internet too. In fact now they are asking me to pay the September bill before it's due date to restart my services. It's extremely disgusting and appalling that Vodafone makes its customers pay for their own folly.

      This is the response I get to my query. Repeatedly I've asked them where is the amount of Rs.1850 that was billed to me. They are still beating around the bush and twice have sent me emails regarding outstanding of last month's bill whose due date is 27th of this month.

      They really want their customers to get frustrated with their dim-witted answers and lose all motivation to pursue their complaint.

      Here are two of their emails just skirting the issue completely


      Dear Mr. Jhaveri,

      Thank you for your e-mail dated 09/10/2014, regarding Bill clarification on your Vodafone mobile number [protected].

      With regard to your concern, we wish to clarify that, there is outstanding amount of Rs. 1614.64/- only/- as per bill dated 28/09/2014.

      Hi Hemal,
      I too have been subjected to Vodafone helpline high-handedness. Vodafone should change their punchline from "Happy to Help" to Happy to Harass".
      I have since got another carrier as my main phone and have maintained the Vodafone no. only as a pre-paid back up phone. My monthly bill with Vodafone used to be Rs.3500, but now I only spend Rs.1500 on the other carrier with 3G including 5gb data. I have been a Vodafone customer since the Max Touch days and they really don't give a damn about how long a customer has been with them.
      Vodafone has an attitude that the customer needs them more.
      You should escalate your complaint and Vodafone are viable to give you an apology at the very least.

        Dear Sir, This is to bring in to your notice that today around 6 pm bill of my Vodafone no [protected] has been paid directly from my credit card even when my card is not linked and ecs service has not been activated and i have not initiated the payment still the payment has been received by Vodafone . I came to know about this when i received the below mentioned message"We have received pymt of Rs.1844.5 for your number [protected].Your outstanding amount now is Rs.0.Dial *111# (toll free) or 1111(toll free) for Payment, unbilled amnt & Credit limit info." How Vodafone can take payment without my knowledge from my credit card please reply immediately how this fraud has been done.           Hi. My name is Sreerag Paramel and my vodafone postpaid number is [protected]. I had got a lot of excess amount in the current bill. The current bill is Rs 2170 .I had registered the compliant in the customer care around 6 times from which i dint get a positive feedback. I had a internet pack 1 gb with the monthly rental, in the excess to that i have activated another 1gb and 300 mb pack. So all together i had an internet pack of 2gb and 300 mb. Having added an amount of rs 600 for that in the monthly rental i guess you have again me charged for a extra 300 mb. There is no chance of that. The due date of this bill is october 10th. If i dont get a immediate action against this, am gonna cancel the postpaid connection.

              Dear sir, i am facing lot of problems in your vodafone operator service regarding internet.since last few days i am unable to access the Internet properly and not getting any speed in 3G services.                     On 19th sep 2014 I activated my international roaming on my VODAFONE NUMBER [protected]. 2 days into my trip my bill was 24000rs. The VODAFONE CENTRE IN VADODARA said that I was using Internet. Which I was not. But they threatened us mt cancelling our service. So WE EVENTUALLY PAID 24000rupees. Then on 3rd October 2014 THE VODAFONE GUYS TOLD US THAT THE BILL WAS 34000rupees. Again they said that I was using the Internet. Which is not true. I m not using Internet here in Germany. Infact I baught a prepaid card from O2 mobile in Germany to use Internet from my IPAD. NOW AGAIN THEY ARE THREATENING US WITH CANCELLATION OF SERVICE AND USING ALL FORMS OF WAYS TO MAKE US PAY. THIS IS MY HARD EARNED MONEY AND I DONT MIND SPENDING IT BUT I MUST KNOW THAT I M NOT BEING CHEATED. AND IN THIS CASE I FEEL THAT I M BEING LOOTED BY VODAFONE AND CHEATED. I HOPE SOMEBODY CAN HELP ME. AS I M JUST A SMALL MIDDLE CLASS MAN FROM INDIA AGAINST THIS HUGE COMPANY VODAFONE. SENSE OF HELPLESSNESS AND FRUSTRATION IN ENORMOUS.

                              My name is Ajay Upadhyay. On 29th September, 2014 i apllied for Port-Out. On 1st Octoberber, 2014, I got the customer care executive call, for confirmation of Port-Out request .On 4th Octoberber, 2014, they Blocked my sim card .I went to the store in Prabhadevi the very day(4th October, 2014). Ms. Priyanka, at help desk said due to non payment of my bill(Rs. 33.05) my sim card was blocked and there KIOSK was not working properly. The shocking part was, When I went to pay at some other store they told me that my postpaid number has been blocked on request from a random number and to reactivate my number, I have to visit a Vodafone Gallary. 2 days ago I got a call from vodafone for port-out confirmation so how can he give me this reason. Also, I will not get this number again. I again visited at other store near Shivaji Park at Dadar that guy was PATHETIC and PUSHED ME OUT, Whenever I call at vodafone complaint number (198), I never get a proper answer from them. This is HOW yor are HAPPY TO HURT.

                                resp authority, myself dr raju surwase working as private practioner, running a private nursing home at parbhani[m s].i was user of reliance cdma network since last 8 years, but because of sudden shut down of reliance network, i swiched on to vodafone. since last 15 to 20 days most of the costomers of vodafone are facing network problem.to be more specific cal gets connected to other network but due to poor quality network with out disconnection of call we are facing interrupted talk in between. complaint was given to local centre, but this issue is not solved till date. please look in to matter and do needful.                                   My mobile number is [protected].I have been using vodafone services since last 8 years.But since last two months I am getting extra bill as downloading charges from Vodafone.I have an active Net pack and no extra services have been requested or used by me.My data charges were under limit for last month but this month its bit more which i was good to pay but this extra downloading charges is killing me. Last month downloading charges came Rs300 extra which i complained, but as forced by customer care, i had to pay but they promised not to activate any services again.But this month again i received bill of Rs 2200 in which downloading charge of Rs 500 is there which is unaccepted because no service has been used by our side.

                                    My name is Harsh Virdi. On 29th September, 2014 night my sim card was blocked. Next day(30th September, 2014), when I spoke to the customer care executive, he told me that my prepaid number has been blocked on request from a random number. And to reactivate my number, I have to visit a Vodafone Store. I went to the store in South Extension the very next day(1st October, 2014). Mr. Amarjeet Singh, at help desk said there is no record of the random number from which the request was made and due to non submission of my documents my sim card was blocked. The shocking part is, I submitted my documents 8-9 months back after I got a call from vodafone so how can he give me this reason. Also, I will not get this number again. After an hour, he agreed to reactivate my number. But for that, I will have to pay Rs.250/- and will have to use a post paid connection. I paid them and agreed to use the post paid connection against my will. I got the sim card and he said it will be activated within 24hours. Now, it's been 3 days my number is still blocked. Whenever I call at vodafone complaint number (198), I never get a proper answer from them.

                                      Again today I have lost my 100 rs for unwanted deduction from Vodafone service. I really upset or harrash from vodafone. My no is [protected] I am surely decide leave from cheated vodafone company. I have 4 sims and all sims port into another connection.

                                        Your customer care number does not give option to talk to customer care executive, which is very bad on you company's part. There is no value of customers. Unnecessarily 75rs were deducted from my number without any intimation and now there is no service top lodge a complaint. Highly dissatisfied by your services! you are loosing your customers! i want my balance back and do not want any download activation. My no:[protected]

                                        I am Debjit from Chennai...out of nowhere I received a sms that some due to some value added services I am charged Rs 35...Even customer care person was unable to solve and wanted me to call after another half an hour when it was already 3: 33 am in the morning...I need an explanation and solution from Vodafone.
