Surve from Pune(Maharashtra). I have a Vodafone number [protected] as a
postpaid. On 01st Oct 2014, I went to Vodafone store in Aundh around
3:15 pm in afternoon.I paid my all balance and asked for a
replacement SIM card for the same number(...1620) as my old SIM was
damaged. Your Vodafone representative advice me that it will take half
an hour for the SIM to get activated. I was OK with that. However I
wanted to make some emergency calls from my number, so I asked him
thrice that, will it get activated after half an hour? He replied, " Yes
! And then I left the store.I was waiting for my SIM to get
activated. I waited till 9, o clock, still it was not activated. I
called customer service of Vodafone. One agent told me its been active. I
told him I cannot see any network. He kept repeating the same, then I
asked for a Manager. That guy transferred my call to Networking Dept. I
spoke to one lady she said we received request from store at 3:47 pm to
activate the card, however after they receive request it takes more
24hours to get activated. I got 2 different information from 2 different
people. I was not convinced with her answer. So I again asked for
Manager. And that lady again transferred my call to prepaid dept.
!!!I asked the prepaid agent guy that I want to speak
with a Manager and then he hung up. Second day(Yesterday) I went to
store, but it was closed because of government holiday. I called up
customer service again, and they got me a supervisor Swapnil. I told
him all the story. He was sorry for all. He advised me that he will mail
back office people to complete my request, but was not sure whether it
will be done. And he also advised me to send mail to you guyz. And
that's what I am doing.I never expected this kind of service
from Vodafone. I have all the call recordings when I was talking to
customer service. I have all proofs of giving me worst service and
misleading Information . I can forward the call recordings to you guys.
But trust me I am going to file a big case against Vodafone. I had spoke
to my lawyer. I really want to bring this up in everybody's attention.

Sorry To say Vodafone: Services like this will not take you anywhere, I pay for what I use not for your Stupid service and for your insane customer service people.
