My Name is Vijay Anand. I have got excess bill amount for my post paid number [protected]. Download charge of Rs. 307. And I have logged complain in Vodafone Store (Rajbhavan Road, Hyderabad) on 9 Sep 2014 (Service Registration Number: [protected]) also I have sent email to corporatecare.[protected]@vodafone.com and cc to vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com. I am not received any call from vodafone customer care but getting lot of sms and email to pay the bill. Today morning i asked the status of my query. This is the Answer from Vodafone " Sorry Sir, We forget to fwd the mail to backend. Please send mail again". Don't know the status of about my Service Registration Number: [protected].

My Mobile no is [protected], operating in kerala, i have taken this post paid connection years back..and with out any due i have correctly paid all the bill's till the date. But many times i am getting excess bill, sometimes when i complaint the issue, the company have waved some amount. Last month i got excess bill and i have complainted, but they have not waved any amount. My bill date is 21st of every month.this month till 20th and 21st morning 7am my bill amount is Rs.278/- and on 21st 10am when i took the statement the bill became Rs.376/-, when i called the customer care, they told me that, it is the Tax amount added with 278/- so the bill became Rs.376/-. so i kindly like to know how is the Tax calculated.is there 100 rupees tax for 278/.There are so many confusion, kindly look into this matter seriously and waiting for a favorable reply.

iam using vodafone postpaid mobile number . i had free usage of
internet of 500 mb with out noticing i used 1.2 gb . i was given a bill
of 7500. while i was filling the form i mentioned my credit limit to be
2000 rupees and i even mentioned that i will not pay the bill above 2000
rupees. they assured me that the bill will not exceed 2000 rupees in
any way . but when i approached vodafone store and asked how will they
charge above my credit limit when i mentioned it in written. they
answered me that the server will increase the credit limit on its own
according to the bill payment summary .
sir my question is how will they
increase the credit limit with out notifying me . its clearly cheating .
they are cheating customers. i want a clear definition of credit limit
and how they increase it.
They are overcharging me from the time I ported my number from prepaid to post paid.. My post paid number was activated on 27th June and they added data plan with my talkplan while I did not requested for the same and also I was not aware of it until they called me and told me about this and that too in next bill cycle. So I had to pay the bill of data plan for 4 days of June 2014 while I did not used it but still I paid the bill and in July 2014 I used the data plan without any requirement as they refused to deactivate it. Now they did it again - I activated data plan in September 2014 and next month when I checked on MY VODAFONE website if it is still active or not it showed NO ACTIVE DATA PLANS, but in the bill they added charge for it. Then I talked with the customer care on 3rd Nov and he told me that it is still active and he deactivated it. But now in the Bill of November 2014 again they added the charge for the data plan. when I talked with the customer care executive and told him that I checked on the website and no data plan was active on my number then he told me that the website is not updated timely. Its the fault of their system that the website is not updated timely. I sent mails to them to do adjustments in the bill but they refused for it and now they have blocked outgoing services on my number as I did not pay the extra amount in bill.
(pathetic service btw, the agents cant converse in just about manageable english nor do they care if the person can hear or understand them, their only aim to finish the call as fast as they can, who cares about customer service...)


Please refer back to my call on 22nd jan and 21st feb, there are some calls prior to 22nd jan as well - reason for calls high bills

on 22nd i searched online about a plan that could lower my bill as i am not using the unlimited internet to its optimum and gathered that there is a 450 rs plan... i called 111, and spoke and asked the agent about this plan, he/she (i dont remember) told me that i need to send an activation sms and that he would de activate the existing plan ... i sent the activation 450 sms... I should have actually got an sms that my 750 rs plan has been deactivated... which i did not, infact i got an sms stating that the 450 pack cant be activated as it is an add on pack... or something like that (that sms is deleted)...

this month i got a un usually high bill... when i checked i realised i have been billed per kb o[censored]sage...

is it my fault that your agent did not know that the 450 pack cant be activated with the 750 plan??? am i supposed to know that???

is it my fault that your agent de activated the 750 plan without knowing the 450 wont get active????

why should i have to pay this extremely high bill when its not my fault...

please correct this and make a reversal...

    Hi, I have Vodafone postpaid plan with 300 MB 3G every month. My 3G usual is primarily during commute time from home-to-office and vice-versa, and I use Wifi or Internet usage at both Home and Office. Now, my usual trend of data usage usually fits the 300 MB/month plan, and I have been doing that for last 18 months. In the August period, I received a message from Vodafone, on Aug 17, 6:40 PM that I've used 80% of my usage. And then immediately I received another message saying my Internet pack has exhausted (Photo attached). So, that means...I exhausted 20% of my 300 MB pack in 1 minute? This was frustrating, and I stopped using 3G during the rest of bill-period after that. And, after 2 days, I get a call from a Vodafone representative (can't recall his name now) saying they have recorded an additional usage of 70-75 MB for the month, which was even more frustrating, and I raised the concern to them, but they didn't provide any help. So, I waited for the August-period bill to be generated, before I raised my complaint here. Attached snapshot of data-usage charges. One more thing I want to highlight here, I get NO network connectivity at home. Absolutely ZERO! So, if you try to reach me on my cellphone regarding this complaint, you'll find it unreachable most of the time. I'm reachable via my undersigned email address. To summarize, I'm not at all comfortable with paying additional charges for something I didn't use. Kindly look into this, and provide me with a solution.       Hello sir..my no is [protected]. On 8th of September I recharged my no with a pack of 147. I was getting a msg about offer of 3G internet that on recharge of 147 I will get 1 GB 3G internet but wen I did I received only 500Mb data pack...I tried to contact ur customer care everyday but dey did not helped me...I talked to Ms Shivani on 10th of September and she said that I will receive a complain msg and a call wud come but it did not happen...den on 11th of September I talked to Mr Ramanuj. He did nothing and said he can't help.Its my kind request you to take actions against dese two persons and solve my problems. Thanku...

        My Vodafone no is [protected] and I have a monthly fixed plan of Rs 599 in which I get 750 local +STD mins free, 200 SMS and 1GB unlimited 3G data. Since it is fixed plan I get a bill of (Rs 599+service tax 74.04) Rs 673.03. This month I received a bill of Rs 732.57. They have levied charges of Rs 30 towards download charges which I have a unlimited internet and I have not download any thing.My total mins was 373 and they have levied Rs 2 for call charges whereas I have 750 mins free.They have also levied Rs 18.60 towards concall charges which is absurd and is not charged in any other service provider and moreover I have never made any conference call also. They have levied charges for roaming of amt Rs 14.10 but I have not gone out of state in last 3 months. When I called up customer care the person behaved very rudely and bluntly refused to take my complaint and said I have pay for all the charges even if I have not used it. This kind of fraudulence and such behavior is not acceptable. Vodafone is fooling customers. I am not going to pay a single penny extra. How dare customer care executives have such audacity to talk to customers such rudely and tell them do whatever you want to do.if the don't get a revised bill with all my wrong charges revised I will certainly change my service provider.

          Dear All, i have also face same. some culprits share your personal data on pakistani web site... +92 country code of pakisthan they are MC ... please write to TRAI IF your service provider can not take necessary action against them.. please avoide to use free downloads site like PK SONGS etc... if you share your personal details there then they will use your details in such type of activity...

            Hello sir, i am consumer of Vodafone since last year and haven't faced any issue regarding wrong deduction. on 10 sep14 i have got a message that i have lost 99 ₹ on downloading some (shots ). Though i am not did it of it. i placed a complaint to customer care on 10 sep 14 17:58hrs .that customer care representative assured me refund of my balance in next 24 hrs but he didn't even register my complaint.. Its the serious issue he was misguiding the customer as i came to know this on 12 sep 14 morning when i called care again .. I request you plz don't misguide the consumers... Please look into the matter as care is not helping me on my problem..

              Below is a snap shot of the emails floating around which might give you some background of the issue: 1) As of June 09th, credit limit of the number [protected] is 5800 Rs (aprox), 2) Vodafone reports bill of 14000+ Rs on the number out of which 12000 (aprox) is for data usage. 3) June 25 : Vodafone increases the phones credit limit to 7300 + Rs 4) Customer agrees to the accidental data usage on June 09th (although no evidence found as the phone was switched off. Bill shows data usage within few minutes time frame) 4) Customer requests why phone was not barred as soon as the credit limit was hit for the phone which was 5800 Rs as of June 09th. Evidence can be provided showing mail from Vodafone showing credit limit was 5800 Rs up until June 25th. The incident in question happened on june 09th. 5)Customercare provides a short span - long span theory according to which credit limit is a bogus concept for short span calls. Not sure what constitute short span - long span duration. 6) No answer provided on how does this concept work on a prepaid number (non postpaid) . Does Vodafone allows prepaid number to talk infinitely in a short span of time. 7) Customer agrees to pay the amount uptill the credit limit as that is the stake on the customer 8) If Vodafone has a system deficiency where it cannot disconnect the call once the credit limit is exceeded, the cost should not be levied on the customer but borne by the company.

                      IM DINESH RICHARD IVE CALLED 198 CSR DID NOT RESPONSED TO MY REFUNING AMOUNT 5RS WITHOUT Listening he disconnected the call and I'm. also a csr of realiance but I've completly disappointed. PlPlzPPlzPlz take action today 5rs tomarrow 5000 on postaid...

                        This is in reference to my mobile nos [protected] and mobile nos [protected]. I also have one more Vodafone nos [protected], but there is no issue pertaining to the same. i had taken both the nos few months back and opted for a data plan of 1 gb and also a voice plan for 299. Recently my data usage had increased and after receiving consumption alert, I downloaded vodafone app in my iPad and change the data plan for both of my phones to 3gb. The app showed a message that the change will be done within few hours post which I left and continued browsing. Post that I received my phone bill this month and have received a huge bill in which the the additional 2 gb has been charged at the rate of 2000 per gb, I was shocked to get the bill and contacted your customer service, which said there has been no requests received from my side to change my data plan. First of all it is highly improbable that I will be lying to vodafone for a issue which is not hugely important, please check my history o[censored]sage, payment etc. Secondly after assuring the customer service officer multiple times that I have applied for change my data plan, the customer service personnel lodged a technical request for verification. Thirdly please check whether I downloaded vodafone app on my iPad, I can provide the iTunes login I'd which I used to download the app, and also please check why the plan did not change even after requesting for the same in the app. Fourthly, in my other plan also in my other no there is a capping plan where even if the plan exceeds the usage limit there is a cap, wherein the charge is limited, please check my mobile phone nos [protected]. Fifth how can a telecom company charge a flight fare charge for 2 gb of data usage, wherein a consumer is fleeced in such a way that it becomes impossible to continue usage of the same. I need to understand in what way your software is error free that when the consumer is saying that he has done a transaction and still it's not being reflected in your application, when he is giving so many proofs. Isn't it calling a customer liar wrong enough even after billing him incorrectly? I extremely dissatisfied the way this's billing has been done incorrectly even after requesting for change in plan to 3 gb for both my nos. my mistake was rather than calling the customer service I trusted on the vodafone app for requesting my change in data plan. I need this to be resolved and closed and need someone to come and meet me before I make the payment for this min bills. This is highly incorrect and is extremely bad business practice for a organisation at the statue of vodafone, where there is a business process wherein by which you can charge a unsuspecting customer equivalent flight fare for 2 gb usage data.

                            This is highly irritating.

                            Please do a complete investigation what went wrong from your side and give me the refund for all the excess that was charged till date.

                            I’m holding the above mentioned 2 numbers.

                            The recent bill I received was a shocker to me. This is close to4 to 5 times more than my usual bill.

                            My [protected] had a billed amount of Rs. 2600 (approx) and[protected] had a billed amount of Rs. 4800 (approx).

                            I noticed that the high charges were due to data usage.

                            I have received 80% data usage SMS from Vodafone but haven’treceived any other SMS stating that I have used 100% and subsequent usage willbe charged extra or anything of that sort.

                            Why I was not informed anything in this regard? In previousmonths whenever I’m exceeding the data limit I used to receive those SMS. Thisis absolutely unacceptable.

                            And moreover beyond 1 GB of free usage my speed should have gotreduced to 2G – but that didn’t happen. I suspect there is an error fromVodafone side.

                            I am having vodafone connection with unlimited internet download plan. I have received bill for Mar-15 from Vodafone indicating download charges for d2c mobilart & d2c mazza. The charges for d2c mobilart was shown four times & for d2c mazza 1 times in the same bill. I have talked to customer care & they told that the charges are correct, since you have downloaded it. I told them that my plan is unlimited & hence there is no question of download charges. On that they told that these are premium download. These download happens when you are touching the screen even by mistake. There is no further warning or confirmation required by these type of download. These are designed like that. I explained them all this, but in vain. Firther i asked them why you are keeping such items on site, they told that they are not concerned with it & the same is on internet by default & vodafone dont have control on it. They have put charges multiple time for same site download. whetre any body will do this type of mistake to download same content twice or thrice. the samw isdue to touch by mistake. Now my question is, who is going to get this charges, ofcourse vodafone is charging to me & i will giving to them. If the same is not controlled by vodafone why they are asking for this charges when my plan is unlimited download. When they know that the cahrges are doe to such tricks by internet mafia, they should not ask for payment. Since my plan is unlimited there is no question of download charges. Since the system is wrong i will not pay to them & why they are asking to me when my plan is unlimited.                             Mahinder ([protected]) activated the plan, at the time of activation he said 512MB 2G data included in the pack.

                            But after billing I am charged for using 64MB with 300rs incl vat in the bill, when I contacted mahendar regarding this issue he said to write a mail to our manager amount will be waived off and a mail to Vodafone care to change the pack.

                            I have written a mail to managers Anil and Kshitij([protected]) messaged them and calls, But no response from them for 15 days.

                              I have been using vodafone prepaid connection for last two months. Last week I converted it from prepaid to postpaid and as a result my prepaid sim stopped working on 9th of sept at around 2 p.m and the postpaid sim was getting tower. But I was not able to make any phone call/sms. In the next 6 - 7 hours I called customer care 5-6 times and each time they said it would start to work inone hour. But it didn't happen. As a result I went to the vodafone shop and they changed my sim and said that it would start to work within 2hours. But nothing happened till now (2 am, 11th Sept). I am not getting any proper help from customer care/ service centre. They ven charged me RS. 250f or the conversion.

                                  I am a vodafone e customer since over 10 years making me a customer since this was owned by hutch. I recently had a vodafone executive by the name of MR Anmol come home n offer me a vodafone anniversary corporate plan package. When the verification person came home he told me the package on my account was nt what was offered to me. Upon which I filed a online complaint with vodafone. Hello! Your service registration number [protected] is registered on 23-Aug-14 01:59p.m. We shall respond to your query by Tuesday 02-Sep-14 01:59p.m. and then on 5th sept. Hello! Your service registration number [protected] is registered on 05-Sep-14 05:18p.m. We shall respond to your query by Tuesday 09-Sep-14 05:18p.m. Its 10th September and I haven't received any call. I had filed a complaint vide email requesting a refund of my 500 rs since those were the fees charged. I had attached copies of all correspondences etc along with that email and the receipt number to which I got a text message Dear Customer, due to your interest in Prepaid connection, your request for disconnection of the new Vodafone connection is in process. Please call on [protected] or 111 immediately if you wish to continue with the Postpaid connection. I didn't respond assuming I'd receive a call as scheduled on or before 2nd sept and then 9th sept. thereafter my number was disconnected without any intimation or activation of my prepaid card. Upon calling the customer care was completely helpless and I had to go to a store who activated it and scheduled a call back within 3 days. This call however again did not come and my phone was deactivated again. In fact I had called on the very next day stating nt to disconnect my number n to continue the postpaid connection till the end of the billing cycle however he registered completely the opposite hence disconnecting my connection.. I called Vodafone support who was again of no help and told me they'll arrange a call back by the end of the day aka no day 8th sept which again never came. I have a ligament tear and could nt go on Tuesday the day after my line was disconnected and went the next day when feeling a little better. Upon going to the store they said my verification was nt completed which I don't understand why since someone had come home on Aug 28th around noon. They said that the complaint was on high and verification dept will call me by day end. I had in fact carried my Identity proofs which he did not accept . Its over that period now and my phone is nt activated. This is horrible service and complete harassment on vodafones behalf. Making me run around places. I am one step close to filing a complaint for this against ul cause I am left with no other option. Please help me before I am forced to do something I don't want to.

                                    i want to complaint about a vodafone customer who is massaging me very wulger and abusing and torching me by calling again and again if you wont take any kind of action than i will case on that number orn on your company too please trace this Gujarat number and warn him or take action on him asap..

                                      i am vodafone postpaid user. i went to vodafone store of cp branch around ;3.50 pm on 10th september
                                      Wednesday. the behaviour of staff was ridiculous.the staff of the store is unresponsible in giving the proper details of the plan.i just asked them to shift my postpaid number into prepaid number and the are failed to give proper information as well unresponsive behaviour is towards clients.
                                      the were forcing me to use the postpaid plan and my work still not done yet.
                                      they treat client in a very bad manner.i hope higher authorities will look into this matter and take the prior steps against the il mannered staff.

                                        Hi All, This is the third month with Vodafone and the customer service is absolutely pathetic. My service are barred for the second consecutive month (For multiple times) causing me lot of inconvenience and issues. Last month Vodafone has added an extra charge of 1050 rupee in my bill and since the total (Rs. 2100) exceeded the limit of 1500, they barred my services before the bill due date almost 20 times. Every time i had to call Vodafone ask some to unbar my services and every time it took an supervisor to understand my concern. (why are the frontline representatives so dumb?) To solve this initial issue it almost took me 2 weeks’ time and mean while my service were barred time and again and i kept calling the customer service to get it unbarred. This month my approximation of the bill is supposed to be between 800 to 1000, and again they have produced a bill of Rs. 1800. Since its not 24 hrs post my bill is generated they cannot explain me my bill, but they can BAR MY SERVICES !!! (What a pathetic way to help your customers) I am absolutely certain that there are errors in this month’s bill as well. In efforts to get my concern resolved today i called your customer service and i got nothing but lies and false expectation. i spoke with Yakub at 17:30 and was promised a call back within 1hr as supervisors were busy. I waited almost 3 hrs and there was no call back. When i called back customer service again, they informed me that no supervisors are available and to get my issue sorted i will have to call back again tomorrow and just to mention mean while MY SERVICES ARE BARRED!!! SO Please suggest me what and How can i escalate this issue further??? I am really annoyed with the poor service and pathetic customer service. Regards, Sudhansu Shekhar Bisoi. ([protected])
