With utter frustration I am raising this concern on customer complaint forum as No support I am getting from my Travel Agent and neither from the airlines. What kind of service I am getting from my travel agent is that no one is following up my concern with the airlines, as if this is the scenario then Yatra.com should remove customer support as they don’t believe in delivering any service and have no ethics at all. If this complaint reaches to Yatra.com management then kindly share my worst experience with the British airways. And Yatra.com team wants to help kindly check on my below saga which I have gone through: 1. I booked ticket for 24th July Travel PNR - 6PA6RF Madrid till New Delhi for which I have also attached the screenshot of my booking. This BA denied boarding due not having transit visa for London and my son booking was being rescheduled to 25th July by BA. According to the embassy and airline call centre only No transit visa was being required while travelling then why he was advised to travel on a different date. Who would be bearing the loss and inconvenience of going back unnecessarily having no mistake at all? 2. Now when my son reached the airport on 25th July then again he was being denied for the same reason which was utter non-sense and they have come with a new story that my son didn’t reach the airport at proper time. What kind of non-sense it was?? I have attached screenshot having details as my son was at the airport at proper time he was again denied boarding as he was at the airport as contacted the other Travel agency and got flight booked on Etihad airways. Do think that we are fool enough and can buy this non-sense explanation. Just think why my son would be wasting money in purchasing another ticket. What I want is that complete refund on BOOKING BOOKED WITH YATRA.COM and British Airways UNDER PNR - 6PA6RF or else I would be taking legal action against them and would make them realise what they doing and having un-ethical conduct business and cheating customers. If Yatra.com still want any proof they can contact me on – [protected] // Yatra.com should realise its place in market as they are Travel agent and it’s their work to help if they selling tickets.

    We booked our package to Thailand on August 16th and while booking the YATRA members were talking very sweetly that in case of emergency we would be able to refund back the money to us. But we were in a situation that we have cancelled our travel due to personal emergency on Friday (4th September 2015) but again we confirmed that we would be travelling after we have recovered from our problem. While booking the package all your colleagues from Yatra spoke very sweetly and also committed that in case of emergency(bad) situation YATRA will be there to SUPPORT us. But it is jut the reverse case that is happening. It is not the one we are expecting from you and in future we are very sorry that we will never book a package in YATRA if this is the support you are going to give the customers. Also please note that while we are cancelling on Friday afternoon (4th sep) Sheeba Birla, Pooja Khanna and Rajat Saxena have informed us that we have booked the 2 tickets on your name and cancelling is not possible and you need have to travel. Considering this and our problem was also solved by that time we planned to travel and we confirmed the same to YATRA team that we are ready to travel on the date planned[protected] Wednesday ).But on Sunday we got another call from Sheeba Birla telling that our tickets have been sold out to some other persons and you will not be able to travel on the same date and she proposed a new date for travelling. We confirm you that we are not going to travel on the new date that was proposed by Sheeba Birla!!! . Could you please confirm us if we are travelling tomorrow[protected] or else refund back the money(INR 20938 ) back to us since the ticket was also given to some else for travel and it is no way loss to your institution. Could you please revert back to us as early as possible so that we can take another alternative or let us know the person we need to contact in case if you are not able to support us so that we could at least give back the money that we have paid to you!!! Since it was a group departure, we had to sell those 2 seats which got vacant as we received communication from your side on the cancellation. The flights issued gave us a loss as the tickets issued were under 100% cancellation. Only 20K could be adjusted and the remaining amount has been a clear loss.

    On top of this, since that was last minute cancellation we had to offer additional discount to those who have been confirmed in your place. That was another unnecessary hit on the company.

    Once again, we completely understand that it is your hard earned money, however, would insist you to cooperate as this has given loss to both the parties and we would not be in a situation to process any refund.

    It is not a last minute cancellation.


    I have booked the package only before 15 days from the date of journey and due to personal emergency we communicated to YATRA team to cancel the package on friday[protected] but YATRA team told that we cannot cancel the ticket because it was already booked on my name.


    Considering this message from YATRA team we planned to continue the trip again and was also communicated to the YATRA Team through mail and telephone (on Sunday[protected].Canceling the package on friday and again we came back for the travel on the next day of cancellation.But the YATRA team called us on sunday and told that your (sasikumar) ticket was already sold out to somebody.So you(Sasikumar) will not be able to travel on the booked date and YATRA Team proposed us the new date of journey.


    But the date proposed was not comfortable to us(Sasikumar) so we are asking for the money REFUND.


    We have given the confirmation of journey through mail on sunday morning but YATRA sent us the package cancellation mail on sunday evening .Is this the way YATRA team supporting to customers???


    Do you think it is a mistake on our part or YATRA??? I clearly understand that it is the mistake from YATRA since they are not able to communicate to customers properly and cancelling my package without customer knowledege.


    Since we are ready to travel on 9th of September as planned earlier but YATRA already sold out the ticket to someone else and also not ready for a refund..


    It is no ones responsibility to provide more offers to the other customers with my valuable money.


    Now YATRA have sold my ticket to the new customers with additional offers without my confirmation and not able to refund my valuable amount back to me.It is a double JACKPOT to YATRA .


    Finally Indian customers are fools to trust YATRA!!!


    I am not expecting any apologise mail from YATRA telling again it is the loss to YATRA .It is very clear that YATRA is earning money from both the customers and how could you tell us that YATRA is in loss.????


    Kindly refund my money back to me.

    So as per the comments from YATRA we decided to continue our journey and informed YATRA through email and telephone on Sunday Morning[protected].But on Sunday evening we received a call and email from YATRA telling that your package was cancelled and also your tickets have been also sold to someone else and they also proposed a new date of journey.


    But we are not comfortable with the new date proposed so we are asking for the REFUND of our money.


    Could you please let me know how could you cancel my ticket without any prior intimation to me ???


    It is no one's responsibility to take my money and giving offers to other customers when we are willing to travel as per planned date.Is this the way you treat customers ??


    It is very clear that YATRA has done the mistake by, even if the customer is ready for a travel on the date planned, they have cancelled my package and the same package was sold out to some other new customers without our knowledge & the money paid by me was also not refunded .


    It is the double JACKPOT to YATRA since it took the money from both the customers!!!


    Finally Indain Customers are fools to trust YATRA !!!


    I do not want any apologies mail from YATRA telling it is a pure loss to YATRA but it not really the loss to YATRA but it is a very big loss to me since only i know how i struggled to get that valuable money.


    Kindly refund my money back to me.

      Respected Sir, I have made a payment of Rs.3330 on 7.7.2015 through net banking for booking flight ticket from Kochi to Bangalore and back for my wife. The ticket was not issued. .Till date I have not received any refund from yatra.com On verification with the bank, the subject transaction was successful. I am attaching the following e-mails sent by yatra.com and bank. Sasidharan Pillai.

      I have already contacted the bank and they say that there is no such transaction with order ID.Two months have lapsed, I have not received any refund from yatra.com towards the failed transaction. There is no manual process required in online money transfer as we all know. And if anyone has to contact the Bank's grievance cell, it should by yatra.com as the transaction processed by you has not reached your customer. If a transaction done by me fails, I will be liable to enquire about the failure in the process.

      And you cannot just justify yourself by giving me some random numbers. How can I be sure that these numbers are even genuine for that matter. Moreover, why don't you just check with your account whether the money has been deducted from your account and if it is the case, then first show me the proof and then contact the bank to check the fault in the process.

      Since last two months, I have been following this issue with yatra.com but no fruitful result has come out.

        I did a booking from Yatra.com for my trip from Kuwait to Trivandrum, India. Unfortunately the amount when compared with the actual airline website of Oman Airlines shows huge differences, the amount charged by yatra is way high than what offered by Oman airlines. Booking Reference Number from Yatra- 270815F83627, 270815F82221.
        The amount that yatra is showing in their website during booking was Rs. 22354 each which includes online processing fee as well. So A total of Rs 44708 is the price for my travel. After the booking I happened to check the details of the price in the airline webpage, it shows far less the amount. The website offers the trip at Rs 41794, which is far less than yatra.
        Also to add, I chose the service based on the filter option which the site has showing the lowest flight amount with the less number of travel hours. Which gave me the best option of Oman Air and hence my booking of the ticket. Kuwait airways which has direct flights to my location was termed as highly expensive in the website because of the least travel hours. However, when I check kuwait airways website, the actual amount is only Rs 31, 248. I am frustrated. I just faced a huge online scam with one of the best reputed website in india. What a scam.

        All the data furnished above is based on my travel search on Aug 28th 2015 for my round trip from Kuwait to India. The date for my travel is 22nd OCT 2015 (From kuwait) with my wife and return trip from trivandrum on 24th Nov 2015.

        I need justice. Yatra is a trap in disguise. I contacted their customer service. They are sweet but they are not worried because I already paid them the booking monies.

        Please do help get me back my money and also to inform people about the online fraud.

          Its been long I am writing mails and trying to contact yatra's finance team for my pending refunds which are piling up daily. there has been no processing of following refunds and i think now I will have to file a strict complaint against Yatra people as they are already holding amount of approx 1.6lakhs that i want refunded soon with damages as suitable. 1.20.02.2015 Rs 10656 for flight booked for Mr.Ajay Chawla Del to Dxb 2.19.08.2015 Rs.114808 for multicity flight booking of Mr.Ajay Chawla and Mr Rajesh Chawla 3.31.08.2015 Rs.11890 for Le Royal Meridien, Chennai booking for Mr.Ajay Chawla And Miss Xing Lai 4.31.08.2015 Rs.12321 for flight booking for Mr.Ajay Chawla, Miss Xing Lai and Mr.Peeyush Gupta Chennai To Delhi 5.31.08.2015 Rs.12321 for flight booking for Mr.Ajay Chawla, Miss Xing Lai and Mr.Peeyush Gupta Chennai To Delhi(again) I need company to Process above mentioned 5 refunds soon with suitable damages or else I will Have to File in Consumer court as even after n no. of reminders refund is not released and my money is on hold with them. All bank statement evidences are attached for reference.Hope for no further disappointments from their side..

            I booked two air tickets online from yatra.com on 29/07/2015 with yatra booking reference nos. [protected] and[protected] and Indigo airlines PNR nos. NECW6U and OG8ZMR.At the time of booking and making the payment the amount asked by the company were Rs.10488 and Rs.5727. Even on the hard copies of tickets the amount paid is printed the same, but they have charged Rs.11488 and Rs.6327 respectively for both of the bookings.When I contacted yatra.com in this regard, first they asked about my mode of payment and when I told that through PNB debit card, they told that discount code is valid for all other card other than PNB.If it was not valid for PNB card it should have been mentioned.Apart from that, when I entered the discount code, it appeared SUCCESSFUL and the amount after discount were asked to pay, but when I made the payment they charged Rs.1600 extra.This way the company is cheating the customers.I, my family, friends, relatives and colleagues were very regular customer of yatra.com but now all o[censored]s are not going to use this site.

            If it was not applicable on PNB card then, when I applied the promo code it appeared SUCCESSFUL on the screen, and on the hard copy of ticket also, discounted fare is written, but charged more.No where it was written that this promo code is not applicable for PNB card.Before going for second booking, I confirmed the same on telephone from yatra.com and then gone for thesecond booking.

              TICKET FORCEFULLY CANCELLED booked a ticket using promo code given by Yatra.com Paid balance amount After few days receive a call from YATRA.COM that I have to pay extra 3100 for the ticket else my ticket shall be cancelled I resisted as because I had already paid the full amount and booked my meal & seat with the Air India directly (free option) Now suddenly when I checked my PNR it says cancelled???!!! Please advice what should I do??

                Hi, My name is Puja Sarkar. I booked my ticket on 15 th August 2015 with my Booking Reference ID: 150815F5988 from Hyderabad to Kolkata. Yatra offered a discount promo code for Independence day FREEDOM69. I applied the coupon while making my payment and only 1 rs was deducted from my account and I got message from the airlines that my ticket has been booked. I thought that may be its an offer for the new customers as I was trying Yatra.com 1st time. So I booked one more ticket with Booking Deference ID: 150815F7390 same destination. At the time of payment again it shown 1 rs when I used the promo code again. I booked the ticket and 16673 rs was debited from my bank account. I was shocked. Then also I thought may be the offer is valid for 1st ticket only and I cancelled the ticket. The cancellation charge was 3550 rs. On 17 th August, 15 around 4:32 pm I got an Email from Yatra that due to their system error the payment could not completed so I have to pay the full amount of Rs. 8756 by evening 7pm on the same day otherwise my booking will be cancel. I came from office and I called The customer care of Yatra. They keept me hole for half an hour after that the person on call told they were busy with another call. I told everything to that person and we came to the conclusion that for the next ticket they will not charge 3500 and full amount they will return but I have to pay 7959 rs for the ticket which I got in rs 1 and the payment I have to make by 8pm on the same day(17th August). I agreed to his proposal and I ask him for the guideline, he told I have to call the customer service again for the payment as the payment for the same ticket can be done only through guideline. Then I called the Customer care again at 7:40 pm and till 8:10 I was on hold and nobody received my call. Today again I got a Mail for the re-payment and again I wrote a Reply mail to them that not to disturb me. Just 1 hour back(Night 10:30 PM) I got a call from Yatra.com and the told they are cancelling my ticket and they canclled my ticket. My question is is this the way to deal with your customers? They have done the mistake and my entire planning for the Christmas got spoiled and I loose my 3550 Rs also for no reason. Are they trying to make money like this to cheat the customers? Please help me out to teach Yatra.com a lesson that the should not play with the customers emotion like this. I am attaching my ticket, and the repayment mail also. Kindly have a look how they are cheating and making money.

                  I have booked an air ticket for my daughter ARADHANA MAHANTA date of journey 30/7/2015 which was refundable/economy from JORHAT-DELHI. This was cacelled afterwards.But to my surprise they have not refunded a single rupee.I have contacted Yatra several times via emails there answer was negative.They told me to contact Jet airways.When contacted they told that I should get some amount after deducting the cancellation charges.But still Yatra didn't refund.I am attaching the ticket for your references.

                    I have booked the ticket on 15th Night @ 3:00AM from Mumbai to Jaipur and back for May 2016 for my family. After surfing the internet and apps for an hr or so I found the best deal on Yatra apps hence booked the ticked by paying the sum through credit card. I have also received booking confirmation. "Congratulations! Your flight booking is confirmed. Booking Reference Number - 150815F9485" Now, YATRA team is harassing by writing emails / calls and demanding extra money. They are threatening to cancel the ticket if I don't pay the sum to them. Yatra team this is not the best business practice to harass the customer once we have paid the price shown on your apps. please do not threaten us and keep your commitment (booking confirmation as it is)

                    Further when Independence Sale was on obviously as a customer I booked the ticket at the offer given by you.

                    If rate was shown at a discounted price then how come you can bother us for your system.

                      I had made my travel booking on the Yatra.com site and made payment of Rs.6690/- for it today i.e 17th August 2015 at around 13:13 hrs. but the ticket was not issued to me and around 13:15 hrs. I received a call from them to wait for half an hour and my booking would be confirmed but even after passing of half an hour my booking was not confirmed. And as I was checking to lodge a complaint I did not find their email id on the site. They have their own complainting system where in I do not receive any copy of my complain nor do I receive any kind of reference no. for future reference. And their contact numbers are everytime busy for any one to get in touch. But at 14:15 hrs. some how I happen to get connected to their representative, for literally waiting for 20 minutes and who confirmed me that the ticket has not been confirmed and I have to make another booking and the ticket amount which got debited would be refunded within 5-6 days on checking whether it has been deposited in their account ( at that time they did not had any information on my payment whether it has been deposited or not where in my account was debited for that amount).I would like to lodge a complaint regarding the negligence and the lack of information on their site.

                        Booking Reference Number - [protected] Proceeding of the events are as following: 1) On12th August 2015 through Yatra.com portal I have booked 2 rooms at "Sariska Tiger Camp" for 15th & 16th August at 8:37 pm. confirmation of booking has been sent to my mail ID [protected]@gmail.com 2) On 13th August 2015 Mr. Rajendra singh from "Sariska Tiger Camp" mailed me that no rooms are available at the hotel & same has been informed to Yatra.com. 3) On upon receiving this information I called Yatra.com helpline number [protected]. The Yatra.com representative said they have no information regarding this and will resolve the issue by the evening of that day (13th August 2015) 4) On 13th August 2015 at 7:41pm I have called Yatra.com again & the representative confirmed they are working on the issue & only be able to communicate by14th August 12:00pm. Additionally he assured that if my booked hotel is not available on 15th & 16th August, Yatra.com will accommodate me to an alternative property which is equal or better than my booked hotel. 5) On 14th August 2015 at 1:31pm I called Yatra.com again & Yatra.com replied that they are still working on the issue & need time till 6:00pm. As my journey was on next day, Yatra.com is delaying again & again, I asked for email confirmation that they will resolve the issue by 6:00pm. Yatra.com has sent me a mail confirming they will resolve the issue by 6:00 pm. 6) On 14th August 2015 at 2:57pm Yatra.com sent a mail to my ID saying my booking at the Sariska Tiger Camp has been confirmed. 7) On 14th August 2015 evening I called Sariska Tiger Camp, the hotel staff said there are no rooms available & same has been informed to Yatra.com also. 8) On upon receiving this information I called Yatra.com at 7:32pm. They said they will need more time . As I was suppose to start on the next day, I told Yatra.com to resolve the issue by half an hour & call me back. 9) At 9:03 pm on upon receiving no calls from Yatra.com, I called again. At this time Yatra.com confirmed that the Sariska tiger camp is not available at they will provide me an alternative property . They also ensured me that they will be mailing me with the available options within half an hour. 10) At 9:58 pm after receiving no response from Yatra.com, I called . At this point Yatra.com confirmed they cannot arrange anything & after long confrontation they send me a mail at 10:36pm confirming that. Yatra.com has twice confirmed my booking, Assured falsely that they will arrange alternative, never updated the situation. If I have not called Yatra.com I would have made the journey to the hotel site. Moreover Yatra.com has provided me cancellation information in such a time that no alternative arrangement could not be made. For spoiling my holiday plan & the harassment caused by Yatra.com I demand full refund of the booking amount & twice the amount of booking as compensation. Regards Ayan [protected]

                        On 15th August (On the day of my booking) 3:00 pm Yatra.com has sent me a mail saying the booking at the said hotel can be done by direct payment at the hotel. If this information was provided one day earlier that would have made some sense, On the day when I suppose to be at the hotel by 12:00 pm (Checkin time), reading the mail at 3:00pm & start my journey toward my destination seems like a joke from Yatra.com.


                        As said earlier, full refund of the payment will not suffice, I demand full refund of the booking amount & twice the amount of booking as compensation.

                              I tried booking tickets on 9th July 2015 from New Delhi to Lucknow. After my first transaction failed and the amount was debited from my bank account, I received a call from Yatra customer care executive. She provided me a reference number and asked me to complete my booking through the same. She stayed with me on call for some 16 minutes during which i tried to make the same transaction two more times. All the times transaction failed and amount (INR 1719 for each transaction) was debited from my account. She confirmed that the amount was not received by them and would be auto credited by my bank within 48 hours. After a week of follow up with my bank it was confirmed that the amount has been received by the Yatra team. Upon confrontation, Yatra team has send me refund for one of the transactions on 27th July 2015. But after almost a month from the date of this issue, I have still not received any acknowledgment or refund for the remaining transactions. They are too irresponsible even to respond on time or keep me posted on this issue on their own. Constant follow up with them is an added trouble. Even after informing them that I would be escalating this issue, they have not responded. This has been my worst experience till date with any of the customer care support services and I look forward to refund of the remaining amount ASAP.

Reference number[protected] However, due to Yatra website or airline issues, I received the flight ticket confirmation for one sector only (GOI-BLR). Besides, I received an email on same day in evening from yatra team stating the refund money for BLR-GOI sector. I replied to their email next day (12th July) requesting to cancel remaining sector as well. (GOI-BLR) Since today, 04th August there was no official reply to an email from yatra team, thus called for customer support. Yatra teams inform me that they will not able to refund the full flight ticket as there are flight cancellation charges and yatra charges. From total deduction from Rs 6000+, I will receive just Rs 112. To conclude, I booked the flight ticket from YAtra.com with option of return flight yet they booked one way ticket (GOI-BLR) and despite it being their mistake are now refusing to refund the full flight fare. This looks for me Yatra are one step ahead in moving towards the yatra_forgery.com. Awaiting for official reply from Yatra.

                                  I booked my Goa - New Delhi ticket on 19th July 2015 and cancelled it on the same date due to some reasons. According to Yatra.com, the refund or Rs 11979 has been transferred but i have not yet received it. Its been more than 13 days and I get no reliable replies from yatra.com. All they say is that they have transferred the money and should reach you soon. Being a Engineer, I know that there's no manual interruption required in the process, so if the money has been transferred, it should have reached my account.                                   I have already contacted the bank and they said that there is no transaction for this order no. There is no manual process required in online money transfer as we all know. And if anyone has to contact the bank's grievance cell, it should be you guys as the transaction is made my you and have not reached your customer. You should enquire about the fault in the process. If the transaction done by me fails, I will be liable to enquire the bank. But in this case, the transaction is processed from your side.

                                  And you cannot just justify yourselves by providing me random numbers. How can I be sure if this number is even genuine for that matter. Moreover, I don't understand why don't you check your accounts and check. If the money is deducted from your account, show me the proof and then yatra.com should enquire about the money.

                                  I will be pleased if this matter resolves quickly.

                                  I have already connected the bank and they say that there is no such transaction with this order id. There is no manual process required in online money transfer as we all know. And if anyone has to contact the bank's grievance cell, it should be yatra.com as the transaction processed by you has not reached your customer. If a transaction done by me fails, I will be liable to enquire about the failure in the process.

                                  And you cannot just justify yourself by giving me some random numbers. How can I be sure that these numbers are even genuine for that matter. Moreover, why don't you just check with your account if the money has been deducted from your account. If it is the case, then first show me the proof and then contact the bank to check the fault in the process

                                  I will be pleased if the matter is resolved quickly. I will not be able to bear this mental harassment for long and will take legal actions against yatra.com if needs to be.

                                  I don't know if its a coincidence or what, but in 4th Aug I warned you guys of taking legal actions against you, and on the very next day, I get my refund back. It would have been lot better had you fastened this process. I don't know why you guys did this tantrum and how it benefited you, but you have surely lost some customers (me and my friends).

                                    Hi, I have booked a holiday package for Malaysia with Yatra.com in June. "[B]Return airfare[/B]" was included in the trip. Yatra booked my flights with AirAsia. Before booking the package I had confirmed with their sales agent whether baggage will be included in the package or not and he replied positively. But Now after booking and paying, when I got tickets, It has provision of only cabin baggage. When I brought up with this sales executive, He is saying I have to pay extra for booking baggage (bare minimum 15 Kg per person). When I am taking a holiday package, I expect such basic amenities to be booked along with. Is one supposed to travel without baggage going on a holiday trip. I tried to convince Yatra people but no avail, they now are saying that only cabin package was included in the package, but there was no such mention in the package details. I am cheated by this lying and not stating all the things explicitly before booking. I had some other better packages from other travel agents who were offering AirIndia flights, but I booked with Yatra thinking they are market leader and can serve customer better.

                                    It was never informed to me that checked baggage will not be included in the package neither it was in the package details where other exclusions were listed. I can send that details as well if needed. Moreover I had confirmed with Sales agent (Adit) before booking and he never mentioned about this but once confirmed that checked baggage will be included as usual.
                                    No Update, No resolution, such bad response.
