Hi,

I am totally dissatisfied with the service from yatra.com has offered to me in hotel booking.

I booked, with 100% advance booking, a Hotel in Shimla through yatra.com for 7 Jan 2017 for 1 night for 3 adults and 1 kid (Aged 42, 36, 12, 6; 12 year kid was mentioned as adult due to policies) and got confirmation from yatra.com. Booking reference :[protected].

I reached hotel on 7th Jan 2017 after walking about 13-14 km due to snow and road block with kids (again 12 year old is kid; though mentioned as adult in hotel booking).

When I showed booking mail at hotel reception about my booking, he told this booking is not confirmed and he also told hotel had already informed Yatra.com about this.

But I had confirmation from Yatra.com.

Hotel receptionist called Yatra interface directly (someone Nitin from Yatra.com; if I remember name correctly) and told him that booking is not confirmed and why this was not told to guest. There was no answer from that side.

My kids were shivering like anything and were in panic mode. I was not able to provide a room to my family.

I called Yatra.com call centre from Hotel receptionist’s phone as my phone was out of network.

I told about situation and complained them why they did not inform me when booking was not confirmed from hotel side. (Sarika or Savita was the person from Yatra side). But booking mail said confirmed hotel booking.

She said sorry and promised me to call back. I specifically told her to provide an alternative only nearby as it is difficult to move anywhere far due kids and due to total halt, no movement in Shimla.

I got a call after some time and lady from Yatra.com (Ms Rajni…) told me yatra.com had arranged a hotel 6 km from this place. I told her it is not possible to move even few meters due to current sitation at this stage so I want a room nearby.

She was rude and when I told her I am with kids and they are not well, shivering. She told me you booked hotel for 3 adults, 1 kid and you are saying you have two kids.

That was so bad comment from her side. She was trying to look for some thing which is against me in this booking.

I strongly objected her and told 12 year old person is still a kid; he was mentioned as adult due to your policies on age. (had I mentioned 12 yr as kid, yatra.com would have said this is wrong booking)

Then she rudely said, confirm your alternate booking or cancel Yatra.com will refund your money. I told I will not accept the alternative booking, nor will cancel the same. It was very bad conversation from her side. And no furhter assistance was provided by yatra.com.

It was getting late, then I tried to look for someplace on my own for night stay as I could not sit in open with family.

This was very horrible trip and thanks to yatra.com for very poor service.
Yatra.com should have informed me earlier before leaving, that this booking is not confirmed. But on one side yatra.com are not listening to hoteliers; on other side they are committing wrongly to guests and poor customer relations.

Moreover, now yatra.com is asking for feedback for hotel where I was not able to checkin due to yatra.com's mismanagement and misalignment internally (someone could internally inform not to send this feedback request to guest). Further, there is no apology or refund from their side.

I will not use Yatra.com in future, will not recommend to anyone and thinking of legal options as well.

This is in furtherance of our conversations and email exchanges regarding booking ID –[protected] . At the outset, we regret if any inconvenience was caused to you.

We would like to state that we had processed your hotel booking at Hotel Sangeet for 1 night, at Shimla, as per the inventory of hotel rooms communicated to us by the aforementioned hotel. However, after your booking had been processed by us, we received a sold out notification from the hotel. We would like to clarify that we had no information about the hotel being sold out.

Later, We have arranged an alternate hotel arrangement, which was declined by you.

Further, we offered you a Yatra e-wallet credit of Rs 1000/-, which was rejected by you.

You will appreciate that we are merely a booking platform and do not exercise ownership over the hotels, which are the principal service providers to the customers. We process hotel room booking requests on the basis of inventory communicated to us by such hotels / third party suppliers. In case any of the hotels fail to confirm the hotel bookings on account of it being sold out, subsequent to the customer's booking transaction on Yatra.com, which happened in your booking as well, we at best can offer alternatives of a similar range/refund the money.

Since none of the above is acceptable to you, We have processed the full refund of INR 2971/- in your account.

We are still offering you INR 1000/- in your EWallet account without any expiry with 100% worth and same could be used in any hotels, flights bookings with us.

With reference to your feedback regarding customer services, we regret any unintentional inconvenience caused to you. This is not the aim of our services level and assuring you for better services ahead.

I could not reply earlier.

Though I got reply from Yatra.com and spoke to floor supervisor, he was polite while talking . However, he did not agree that yatra did any mistake and tried to shift responsibility to Hotel only. Floor supervisor provided 1000/- voucher to me which i had denied accepting.

I will not use yatra.com further for any bookings and will ask to permanently remove my name from yatra.com database.

    I had the booking reference no.[protected], however the hotel clearly said that they did not receive any email for the booking. Also it is clearly mentioned in the recording []that the booking was not sent by yatra to the hotel. Its a proven fault from the yatra's end. However upon asking in writing you said its a sold case wherein the rooms were not available. I had a conversation with yatra's representative in the afternoon stating they had a word with hotelier (Prem gupta) and the booking is confirmed. But post reaching the hotel they clearly denied that. It was the falsifying information provided by your representative. As a result you spoiled our trip and the time worth alot. We booked the car costing us rs. 18000 and new year eve party event worth rs.10000 and if we include all the risk of wandering around late night in the streets without any place to stay, the risk of our lives should be borne by you. Yatra.com... Still no escalations, you are handling the case on your own, no solution till now. It been more than a week. Guys dont evr go for yatra.com..

      I booked my hotel on yatra.com on 4th dec for a family trip to Amritsar(28th dec 2016). On 27th evening, i got a call from yatra executive stating that the hotel is sold out. i was about to board my Delhi flight from where i would take the train and had no idea what to do as i was in transit and will have limited access to network. i have spent so much time over net to book the hotel with such good reviews. in the entire transit i was stressed and following up trying to convince the executive. finally they gave me alternative hotel with very poor review even in their site, So i denied. I demanded incase u cannot provide me the same hotel or a hotel with similar good customer rating, u have to provide me a quality 5star hotel as i didn't have time to review their hotel options anymore. I went to the same hotel which i had a confirmed voucher from yatra and they said that yatra has communicated with the hotel only 2 days prior my check in and so they were not anymore available with the rooms. the entire picture was clear. i was travelling with an infant and my dad's health was also not so good. i tried explaining to the executive again and again but in vain. i even said i will make a consumer complain but they did not listen. me and my family had to face immense stress and inconvenience for this negligence. it was really unexpected from such a popular company like Yatra.com

        My first & last pathetic experience with yatra, booked 3 rooms with yatra for goa now when i reached here got to know that they have shared the fake pictures on there on portal, pictures available on portal was for a different property & booked property is different & when i call them they don't have any answers for the issues, I had to wait 3 hrs outside the booked hotel and after that as well they have done nothing

        Pls beware think 100 time before u book any property with yatra

          I Booked a bus ticket from Pune to Goa for 24 th Dec 2016, how ever when i tried to cancel the ticket i got a error message that getting error as, no refund found on your request, please try later.

Everytime i book airticket through yatra.com, it generates additional ecash but i could never understand how to use the ecash in my current booking of air tkts. Everytime they claim that you will get discount in your next booking and the next never comes. I kept calling their toll free no: [protected] &[protected] but none of them are available for tele-discussions with any tele-executives.

              I had booked hotels in Andamans in Dec from email id [protected]@gmail.com but due to natural disaster cyclone I was not able to board. The airlines gave me full refund but the hotel bookings was done thru yatra and I paid the full amount in advance. Now even after this emergency situation they are not refunding my amount and neither responding to my email.

              I had booked a seat from sangli to nashik of konduskar travels.
              The amount of Rs.812 was deducted from my account but the ticket was not issued. So I had rebooked the same ticket. I had called them and also had sent mail attached with bank statement of debited amount.
              They didn't reply for my any request. This is so pathetic.

                I had plan to trip of Kerala for my honeymoon so I asked Yatra to send me quotation. I like quotation so but Yatra executive called me multiple times and insisted to book package but I asked him to pay booking amount in weekend which was 25% of total amount. He provided me option to pay some token money I.e 5000 Rs and pay remaining in weekend. I did the same. Now, problem is that I came to know that my company is providing me with holiday.

                When I told this to Yatra executive which was in contact and who was talking very politely with me before now he show some rudeness to me and asked me to pay remaining amount of 25% without Lister my problem.

                When I mailed Yatra regarding this they simply said they will not refund it.

                Yatra guys request you to refund my money and make sure that We both do our business without wasting time in writing here.

                  Hi all,

                  I made different bookings from yatra.com
                  Booking 1 : 19218614
                  Booking 2 : 19310252
                  Booking 3 :[protected]

                  First i made booking 1 for ahmedabad to toronto via new delhi and chicago.in that booking yatra advisor (Vishwas singh) did not informed me on call if flight is going through chicago than i will need transit visa for us. I got to know this when i called airlines for extra baggage as yatra's concern person was not reachable.

                  After that i had word with rahul from yatra and he informed me that he will check the issue and will call me back but there is no call back from 06 dec 2016
                  When i did not received call i called yatra toll free number and lady informed that she is sending email to his higher authority (Vishwas's leads) to call back but no call back received.
                  After that i called to airline for support that they suggested they have a direct flight from new delhi to toronto where no transit visa will require but there was no revert from vishwas. I also marked several email but no revert. Advisor did not kept any other email in cc so others can work on his absence.
                  Finally i booked new ticket which was suggested by air canada from yatra executive as fare was increasing. I also informed that person to call me back to discuss once he complete the booking procedure but no call back received.
                  As there was no call back, i called air india for cancelling my old flight delhi to chicago and chicago to toronto and wanted to keep ahmedabad to delhi but air line suggested it is not possible as entire flight is under same pnr and multiple sectors can't be cancelled. Entire flight will be cancelled.
                  I again called vishwas but his extension was not getting connected hence i dropped email to different teams but there was no revert from any of the team.
                  After that i placed online cancellation request for entire booking cancellation and booked a new ticket for ahmedabad to delhi.
                  I received call from vishwas on last friday stating he was not available in the office and he will get my both the flights connected which is still not done from past 6 days.
                  I also received call from vishwas's manager on last friday and she suggested she will call me back next day but no call received till now.

                  I marked email to yatra with several questions why i was not given revert but there is no revert on the email from past 7 days. I still not received even acknowledgement.

                  It is creating mental harassment to me. Now a days, it is being my regular task to call and email yatra which is impecting my personal life as well.

[protected]@tsi-yatra.com, [protected]@tsi-yatra.com and harpreet. [protected]@tsi-yatra.com since 03.11.2016. the only reply that i get from them is please wait, our it team working on it, soon we will update you.

                    Fail to understand why there is so much of delay in sorting the issue.

                    Kindly have the issue sorted at the earliest as it has been delayed over a month and a half now.

                      Permission may be possible after 12.30 pm with no guarantte

                      So my father said no becused they will reach kanyakumari at 4.00 pm is no use of going there

                      Now when i called yatra executive, he told me that i will discuss with my travel partner and come again

                      I waited but no one has called, again i called yatra thrice and at last called they take concall with travel partner

                      Mr. Kannan (Travel partner) told me that your father said no that's why we didnt go there but main problem yatra executieve no aksed,

                      Now yatra told me that as travel partner is not going to refund, we are not going to anything on this.

                      So meaning is that yatra is cheating with customer, they are less bother about what metal truma my parents has gone through.

                        Its been 40 days, im been misinformed always, my new years is been screwed, i can't travel anywhere, my money is struck, always i have been calling these people and getting an update but no one is bothered to give me the right information and now i have been informed that i may not get my my full refund, i'm a normal class working guy, 24000rs is a lot to me and it take lot of hard work to earn it,

                        I really don't know if i will be able to get my refund or not, but i am information that its been more than a month, yatra and air asia are just playing around and giving me false info all the time, i really request you to see to it and help me to get my refund back.

                          I have kept an international flight ticket to usa from hyd on hold for 2 days looking at its cheaper price comparing other sites.in the hold period i got about 20 mails. But none of the email or in the booking pages or at payment pages i didn't seen any information of about transit visa required to stay for 24 hours in uk airport.
                          While booking time also i received many calls about time and other things like payment info but they didn't mentioned about transit visa.
                          As it was my first flight booking i was not aware that in the layover gap they wont provide any food and accomodation which i confirmed it with yatra support during this time he informed me it is needed and required. Later i enquired with british airways support and vfs global & v-assist. Everyone said we need it to stay as it was a date change and its nearly 24 hours.

                          Request to cancel my flight ticket with out any cancellation charges. If its not my mistake why should i have to pay for it.in the website while booking we see only 1000 for cancellation charges. But in real they are taking about 6000 rs on the whole. Why the things are not mentioned along with it. You are misguiding customers with that one line of 1000 rs towards cancellation charges.

                          I was requesting to reschedule it to an other flight on the same price. But they were asking huge amount of money about 60, 000 one time and 22, 000 one time. The flight cost is 61412 on the day i booked. Along with it other different timing options are there. But i have not concentrated on all that.

                          When i asked for rescheduling it to different time which had the same price for that day. They are asking so much money which is ridiculous.

                          Have called to their customer support for 8 times each lasted about 30min-1hr. I said i want to talk to their manager's or head's. But no one connected. After some time they were disconnecting it. Few said we will call you later.
                          One of women misguided me about cancellation charges she said the discount given 4000 also adds in cancellation charges as they applied it.
                          None of their agents are on the same par of rules and fares studied. Each one handles differently.

                          Have literally irritated with their customer support and services.

                              My booking reference No. is YH3006041. I booked a holiday packages of Andman and Nicobar from Kolkata from 03.12.2016 to 08.12.2016. Due to the cyclone I had to cancel my airline tickets of of Vistara airlines ofPNR No.7LMAPS and 8IR7QM from Port Blair to Kokata on 08.12.2016. I contacted the Vistara Airlines Customer support for the refund, and they said that they sent the refund amount to the yatra with waive off of cancellation fee remark on same day i.e. 08.12.2016. But even after 6 days I did not get the refund amount to my account.
                              Dear yatra I have really suffered a lot during this vacation and I did get little from your end. So this is my humble and last request to you kindly reimburse my amount to my account immediately. Do not make me feel that I make the biggest mistake of my life for making booking from your site.

                                I booked my flight ticket for 4 persons with Airpegasus through yatra.com on 5th July, 2016 vide booking reference No;[protected]PNR – WIO3B4) to travel from Bangalore to Trivandrum on 6th Aug’16. I had received the message just a few days prior to departure date as cancellation of flight due to unacceptable reason.
                                I requested with airpeagasus to arrange alternate flight or through with anyother airline such as air asia or air india for 4 persons. They refused to arrange the same.

                                While I called air Pegasus, they said they refunded all amount to yatra.com But yatra.com says they are awaiting refund amount from airpegasus.
                                I am not getting positive response from yatra.com and airpegasus for the past 5 months.
                                Kindly intervene and resolve the issue within 15th Dec'16 meanwhile I will send legal notice to yatra.com for the deficiency of service.

                                      I had booked a ticket along with my wife & children in Air Pegasus through yatra.com (BANGALORE TO GOA )flight on 1st october 2016 and my PNR number is XHHJQ4 and Booking Reference Number of yatra.com[protected] .The airline cancelled the flight on the previous day of departure without any proper reason. I have received a call & mail from yatra.com saying that the money will be refunded to my account within 20-25 working days. It has been 4 months and I haven't got my money yet. I have tried to reach them numerous times and nobody replies the call. Where is my hard earned money gone?
                                      As per my knowledge, yatra.com & Airpegasus is cheating the customers by doing a robbery in the name of air tickets. They have not refunded many tickets yet and all their cancellations are pre-planned.
                                      I would request you to take an action against them to stop their robbery. I am really looking forward to get my money back as soon as possible.

                                        I booked domestic flight tickets to yatra online, and after submitting the payment, the page errored, then asked me to resubmit, on 2nd resubmit the payment got processed and ticket confirmed.

                                        However, I am seeing 2 transactions taken out of my account, so the errored one also took the payment.
