BeamTele, an Internet Service provider, has been making a nuisance of shifting the internet connection from one local location to another.
I filed in a request to shift my existing connection from Nanal Nagar Area to Secunderabad Area on May 8,2012. The executive at the customer care logged in the request and said that it'll be done within 4-5 working days.
Even a week later, no action was taken on this. I again filed in a request, with a mention about my previous request and asked for a follow up on the same, but nothing was done regarding the same. All that the customer care representatives
did was promise that they'll look into the issue and get back to me. Its been more than 20 days now. No action has been taken as of yet. On calling up the customer care regarding this issue, the make the same promises again and again that it'll be taken care
of in 1-2 working days. When requested to connect the line to a higher executive as this issue seems to be beyond the understanding of the customer care executives, they put the line on hold saying that it'll be refirected to a higher executive within a few moments.
This call takes about 10-15 mins to be redirected if at all it has not been disconnected by then. The executive there says that there is nothing he can do about it at the moment and will get back with the issue tomorrow. The same statement was made by the other representatives
but without any action taken for days. This is a big nuisance for me as i have to shift my house. The landlord of the place won't allow an extension, rightly so, without additional payment of rent. I've no clue how to go abuot with this problem. Could you please help me with the same.
If required am ready to post the details about the request number and the subscription details.

    Broad band sevice was deacticated at my request as I found the services very very bad. I have received
    a message confirming the deactivation on 13/04/2012. The messege also indeicated that the amount due is Rs.2079.
    I had contacted their see call center and I was informed that refund will be effected within 10 working days.

    After expiry of 10 days I made several calls and sent emails but they showed not even the curtsey of replying.
    ACT has since refunded the amount and ied with their response andI am satisfied

      my name is rajesh. i have a beam fibre connection with account number 83914. am very happy with the quality of connectivity that this company is offering. but the services are very sad. i have been facing frequent disconnection. called up beam cable call center many a time but in vein. they say they will resolve the issue with in 24 hrs every time i call them. that 24 hour will turn to 240 hrs even then they say they will resolve the problem with in 24 hours. vexed with the call centers attitude i have given up and started living with it. i have faced disconnection twice due to late payment (am paying for the disconnected period also) which i agree. but they should also consider the problems am facing . one cant go blind sighted on this. but since last 10 days i have complete disconnection. i have registered a complaint on 11th may 2012 with complaint number 5086206. this was closed with out my consent and problem not rectified. then again i registered with complaint number 5094415. i have called up 18 times during this period with minimum 5 mins per call. every time i call the call center they have only one dumb answer " the problem is being worked on, will be rectified with in 24 hrs" even after 5 days. if they have promised to rectify the problem with in 24 hrs then they should do it. or they should give me a proper finite time to resolve the problem. i request the beam telecom to look into this issue.
      this is rajesh here. i thank The Beam fibre for resolving the issue. the problem of disconnection has been solved this morning by the beam fibre. i would love to continue with their services.

        MY USERNAME IS [protected]@yahoo.com account no 28388 i want beam internet wifi facility so i requested the beam to provide wifi roter with the fee of rs 2000/-
        i am requisting the beam tele com for wifi rooter from last 15 days but the beam the worst company is unable to provide it still. first the beam had promise to provide it on 1st may ,2 nd may and lastly 10/05/2012 . but today is 10/05/2012 the beam is unable to provide internet wifi rotter to me .if the beam is unable to provide the service which he is advetising company should closed/wind up
        i want internet wifi rotter today urgently if not i will file a case in consumer form /and publish it in loeading news papers

          Hello,

          I have paid Rs. 5600 for new connection but even after one month the connection is not established.
          there are 3 tickets created by them one after another without any resolution or any notification.
          556745, 4801943, 4939215.

          I have sent mails on this to nodalofficer RAVI CHAKRAVARTY, LAXMANA P. but is see not response from them.

          There are few friends of mine who have faced the same issue, so thought of raising a consumer compliant againt BEAM TELE.
          I have all the bills, mails and messages from BEAM.

          Even i requested for repayment but got a confirmation from that it will be estatblished by may 3 2012 but not yet established.

          Request you to take some action on this.

            Beam Broadband — Feasibility and non availability of pin

            Hi Team.Iam looking for Beam Broad band near my area aat film nagar.The exceutive to came to my area saw the place and said if we arrange a pin point near your house i can get the internet he said.For thathe said that to take 6months package by paying 3300. i accepted it, after that he again started asking 700 for the pin point which to be installed near my house.please have a look into it. if connection is available iamj ready to take and waiting for it so that people around my house also will take the internet connection.Please replay back as soon as possible,iam waiting for your reply.thanks for yourr help in advance.

              Beam fiber Customer Service team is the most unorganized people I've ever seen. I've asked them to waive the shifting charges else close my account. I can reopen the account at the new place without any installation charges by paying them 3/6 months fee. They never allowed me to close my account!!! They've raised Tickets to escalate my issue and just before i could shift, they called and confirmed with me to shift my account to the new place without any shifting charges. After coming to my new place within HYD, they're charging me for shifting charges. I've called them to review my account to check who all called me and confirmed there won't be any shifting charges. They don't have any clue who called me and confirmed about waiving the shifting charges -- they have the tickets raised for the same (very lazy to check my history and find out). On Apr 25, I've called and asked one agent to look over this. He promised to look over it and raised a ticket. After two days I came to know that he raised the Ticket about informing me the payment details and nothing about waiving the shifting charges -- crazy customer service!!!! No one after that tried to listen to Customer. Before i could explain the situation, they're just jumping into the policy pages they have in front of them and gave all unnecessary information. I'm fed up of Beam Fibre customer service team --- no customer should be fed up of any service (they should understand that to retain customers.) I've asked them to close my account and that will take another five days to process as if its a court case!!!!

              I don't want you to address my issue any further... as i said, I'm just fed up of your mean service. I've cleared my April bill today. Reference Ticket 4954534. Just remove the cable from my home... I've got good offer from other ISP.
              I hardly used internet for 20 days... still your people collected full amount for the month... you took 7 days to shift my connection and kept my account on hold from 25th of April... (total 12 days in a month without connection) is that not mean in collecting full amount and feed your lousy Customer Service Team?????

                Hi,

                I jobin Thomas am difficulty with beam my registered beam number is [protected] and account email address is [protected]@gmail.com .

                These guys are charging me for something I have asked to degrade I am currently on 1020 plan I have asked the customer. Serivce agent to degrade it to 400 plan long before on march they failed to degrade and I had to pay the extra money and since then I have all the ticket numbers and was confirmed by them that I did make a complaint and from till them I had no response regarding it they have already disconnected my service the nodal officer all their promises are in vain and no update regarding it.

                I need help, please advice on how to go ahead.

                  I have paid money to beam telecom on 22nd March to get a new connection; But still i didn't get the connection. I have been calling to customer care almost everyday; they kept on telling that it will be resolved in next 24 hrs. They are not even giving the exact reason of the problem in issuing the connection. I am wasting my time in calling them daily. I don't have internet connection now at my home to connect to my office network to do my job. Frustrated. Please help.

                    I,being a customer of Beam Telecom with the Account No : 278356. We have requested for the shifting of connection on 1st April 2012.As per the rules of Beam Telecom, request should be addressed in 5-7 days after requested date. But till date the request has not been addressed by the company even after making repeated calls to the customer care.

                    Hence, we request the company to shift the connection as soon as possible and the next month billing should have the deduction from 1st april to the date till the connection has been shifted.

                      Ther is no internet connection at my home from last tuesday dated 10/04/2012
                      The call centre of beam tele is keep our on hold for minium half hour
                      But after that also beam tele com disconnect my phone every time
                      I had paid annualy amount in advance but why the beam tele com is disconnect my internet service from last four days. As i had paid amount so i want continously internet service at my home
                      I want internet service at my home urgently i need internet service urgently note there is no curfew in my home area in chanchalguda, if the beam tele com is unable give contiously unliited internet service at my home so refund my amount which i had paid i advance.

                        Hi,

                        I've opted for Beam fiber-600 plan for six months post which raised a request through beam site and communicated to the customer service team about the updation of the plan in Jan'2012, however the request is still pending with the bill amount collected 600 further stating all stupid reasons.
                        For the month we've paid 400/- and we were continuously harassed to pay 200 more,the services has been disrupted since last four days stated for the pending balance on our bill while I've the requirement to do my work through web, am suffering even after being sincere to the services provided and also demand the refund of the additional amount paid.

                        System is turning a deaf ear to the multiple complaints raised with merely issuing the ticket#/s with no solution.

                        I urge for severe action to be taken against the firm that stands out as a lesson to others prior to letting the common man's life at stake being irresponsible and for illegitimate reasons.

                        I am posting because i had to go through all this.:, Are you ready for the same?

                        This story is not first time. It’s the same experience every time i have for the last one and half year, BEAM support staff need either training or replaced with people having minimum human understanding.


                         Ticket No: 9346011 (I logged a complain saying to send someone to collect the money long before the expiry date and mentioning clearly not to disconnect).

                         The ticket was closed mentioning that the person came to my home and did not find me. I clearly mentioned that my home has network issues, so please call me before coming and if i am not reachable that means i am at home or else i will pick up the call and tell you when to come.

                         So that means, the person who came in was dumb or the support guy did not update the person about the information because there is no point in randomly coming at whatever time and expecting me to be there without calling me.


                         I raise another ticket: 9376896: This time i clearly repeat the same saying-please call me before coming and come directly to my place if i am not reachable over phone but try calling me first before coming.


                        I also requested not to disconnect connection because i am running an online course which is very important and mentioned clearly on the call that i should not be suffering for your mistake.


                         The ticket was closed, i escalated only by sending the SMS back and i explained the whole process again and again to the escalation person calling me in saying I will receive a call back.


                        Nothing happens, I called again and logged another request[protected], same process, explained clearly that no one has called and come to house or called me to collect money.


                         I escalate it again and the same old story and by this time i am sure, the support is dumb as well the escalation not knowing what to do next, waited and expected someone to call. Nobody called.


                         Finally Beam disconnects and i paid today 5am in the morning waited long enough to get it activated.


                         Called Beam support to get an update[protected], it gets closed without activation.


                         I call again and another ticket[protected] opened. I spoke to Imran, Priya and Raj at different intervals and they read the script of 4hrs time stamp when it will be activated, even after i mentioned them its already past 16hrs it’s not done. They cannot escalate it.

                         I forced Raj to connect to a supervisor but he said he cannot first and then he puts me on hold and comes back saying "He does not know his supervisor name and his supervisor is working on my issue which is caused due to a server problem"


                        I asked if you don’t know your supervisor's name, how you know he is working on the server issue due to which I am facing the problem. Then he says he gets an offline message when he called his supervisor's toll free number. I was shocked to know that Beam has that kind of facilities to update their support staff about their supervisor's ongoing actives but cannot update supervisor name in the offline message. You know what kind of lie the support staff are Saying and trying to convince me that "they are just doing their job".

                         I called the next day again at 12 PM and "Deepika" picks the call and tells me the same story (She appeared very new to the system and leering the not so good things), 24hrs from now and i wanted to speak to supervisor. She puts me on hold and comes back saying the same
                        (Supervisor is busy resolving your issue). I thought wow, what jokers. I asked her supervisor's name, initially she tells she is not supposed to disclose the name to customers. I asked in a different way, now she tells, Its "Sohan" and drops off the call

                         I raised 2 complains within 2 hrs. on their online portal knowing that it is of no use but still to test "BEAM at their worst".

                         I called beam again and got disconnected twice. I called in the evening and got "Om Prakash". He tells me that my account is not activated yet. I asked "Why?” he said it will take 24more hrs. I said it’s been more than 48hrs and now you are asking 24hrs more whereas i am losing my online classes and my days. I asked for his supervisor and He disconnected the call.

                         I called again and got "Azharuddin"(He sounded very old rat) on call. Surprisingly and contradicting the just previous guy "Om prakash" said "my account is active and there is some problem at my end". I said i am getting IP however after getting the IP it is redirecting to the BEAM page again where it says "log out if paid" or "Pay online". I told him that there is no issues at my end, its account issue. He started troubleshooting and told me that it’s my problem because I paid late. Wow! (watch the blame game without knowing the back ground)
                        I asked to connect to supervisor but he did not saying the same old story "Supervisor is busy". He told me to send a technician even after i told him clearly that this is an account issue. He did not listen to me. He simply said 24hrs and to send executive.

                         There is one more ticket created for the same issue[protected]. So basically they do nothing and keep on becoming robotic.

                        Next day (today-): Call from BEAM- Sreekanth called me and told me that there was a hardware failure from my area box and many other customers reported the same issue which took time to fix. Sreekanth mentioned that it’s a known hardware issue and the hardware is replaced which took some time.

                        I asked if it is a known hardware issue why "Azharuddin" was insisting me it’s a problem on my side and told to send a technician even after i told him it is not an issue from my side.


                        I have not still checked the connection as i am in Office.



                        All that above mental torture and shaking the peace of mind is not at all accepted at any level. And you can see my patience level and tolerance from the number of tickets i raised and number of minutes i spoke on each call explaining calmly what i wanted but all in vain. So the time spent with beam staff was not only a pain but it’s a suffering of time and money. So it really impacts a person's mental health and spoils days.

                        Does Beam not paying good enough to the support staff or training the staff on how to really support? It’s really pathetic to see the kind of support staff Beam has and moreover they seem all not having the simple understanding of what
                        They are doing and why they are paid for. I know for sure, if this is the case with me, many would have quit by now silently without having the patience to raise this issue to beam with the effort i am putting here.

                          This is what the customer care told me on daily basis today being the 10 day after I raised a request to change my connection and now I have decided to terminate the connection. The customer care is horrible.. Please never take beam connection.. The connection takes ages to start and is not there half of the time.

                          I agree with you completely- I had my internet connectivity disconnected by a neighbour, it took 2 day for beam telecom to tell me what has happened and ever since I have been calling their customer care and following it up. The funny thing is, every call to the customer care is registered and given a new ticket number which means it becomes a new complaint- a trick to cheat the rating agencies and customers that the complaint redressal had been done in a shorter time !! The customers can never talk to the supervisor or the customer care manager, only the executives who pick up the telephone calls will answer like a robot, parrot! It is quite irritating and frustrating !! I even called up the Beam telecom Corporate Office in Banjara Hills at their number 4470 0700, the funny thing is even on this number the option 2 for talking to the operator is never answered by any one, I tried this in vain for two days. I even wrote to the nodal officer, I was given another number, #534598, by this nodal officer, same old story. My disconnectivity continues on the 6th day and the solution is not in sight-Isahll we form a aggreived people forum and go to court and file a compensation case against Beam telecom? my beam telcome account number is 113705.
                          This is totally ridiculous. i had mailed many times and had chat with the customer care but today again i got a mail from beam for payment of Rs3718 towards the payment of the Internet bill. Please find my reply below. I am not using Internet connection from march 2012 and still today they are behind me to pay the bill. Why should i pay the bill for something i had not used?

                          I had sent the below mail on the 04th April for disconnection of the service and also had many calls with the beam telecom call centre before the 04th to disconnect the services, but again today i got a message and mail stating for payment of dues. I am not sure why i should do the payment of Rs3718 as i am not using the Internet connection from March 2012.

                          PLEASE NOTE: -

                          I am not going to do any cash payment as i had not renewed my beam Internet connection.

                          Please find below the mail i got today -

                          "Dear TUJESH E.G.,

                          Please note that your B-Max610 6M package with us, has been disconnected reason AUTO HOLD.
                          Please note that your last invoice amount was Rs.3360/- and current due in your account is Rs.3718/-

                          Iam also facing problems with Beam telecom landline phone. I have given complaint eight months before, still they haven't fixed the issue. iam not getting incoming call from intracom numbers with in My Home Jewel, Madinaguda, Hyd.

                            I am a Beam Telecom Internet user, I am not getting internet connection from 27th March 2012 (Tuesday) Evening 5:00 PM onwards. When I call to customer care of the company. They told me that they are going to send the Technician with in 24Hrs, but till now they haven't solve this problem. When ever i call to them they say they are sending to technician to resolve the issue. When asked that i want to talk to higher authority, they are not giving any detail. I hope with this mail my problem will resolve as soon as possible.

                            Beam Telecom — Not getting connectivity

                            Sir,

                            I Had taken Beam telecom internet connection on 2nd october.I paid 1200+600 for installation and activation respectively.Since a week I am not getting any proper connectivuty,I have been calling hte customer care center and even contacted their nodal officer and din't got any solution from them.

                            Every time I call the customer care center they simply give me a complaint number and will close it after 2-3 hrs without providing any solution.

                            Kindly look into this matter

                            I have been a customer since August 2010 and have been facing connectivity issues frequently (at least 5 days in a month and every week I complain the issue).

                            I have been complaining a single issue several times and none of the technicians are able to provide permanent solution. They are closing the ticket without even getting the confirmation that internet
                            is working.

                            They usually close the tickets with in 24 hours without resolving the issue.
                            Contacting nodal officer and appelate officer also make no difference.

                              Sir,

                              I applied for new Beam Cable and paid Rs 5,500/- for six month plan on 18th Feb 2012. Exec promised me that I will be getting connection within 10 days. But till today 17/03/2012 they simply installed a empty box with any instrument. When ever I call them they ask for 24-48 hours for solution. every time I get a new ticket number. Really they have eating my money and time. I request every not to go for this conection. If possible plz try to resolve my issue.

                                hi,
                                this is Karthik,i have applied for a new connection and paid 3300rupees as half yearly payment on 01/03/2012 they said that i will get the connection in 3 days but they failed,after calling them several times i got connected on 12th that was ok till that.....I started to use my Internet from that day it just worked for a day and its disconnected after a day(i.e.,on 13/03/2012) when i call the customer care they are registering a complaint,sending a ticket number and saying that technician will approach in some time,But no Technician is approaching to me and when i call the customer care the same story is repeated.Please help me as soon as possible

                                Not only that they also said that the net works when there is a power cut but it fails when i ask them they r telling that a battery will be installed soon but no proper response

                                So Kindly solve my issues as soon as possible and take action on them.Thank You.

                                  -i'm a prepaid customer of beam since a month.
                                  -since the last ten days my connection have been disconnected, and I've been calling the customer care since then daily.
                                  -every time i call they tell me they'll resolve my complaint in 24 hours, but that moment never came till now.
                                  -when i asked to disconnect my service he is more than happy to do that, n asks me if he can forward this this request of mine
                                  -the customer care is not even ready to connect me to higher officials.

                                    Hi Sir,

                                    I have opted for an Broadband connection 10MBPS for (1000 RS+ 600 RS Installation)Which i should pay in advance unlike other companies.
                                    I took this connection on 4th February.I used it for 2 days.Then Unexpectedly I have to change my Address.
                                    They promised to do the shifting in 5-7 Days.Even after 5-7 days, there was no response from them. I called them so many times till that time.so, I have to put a Leave for office and go to BEAM cable office for shifting to be done.
                                    I went on 14th February.ThenI have to forcefully make them come and install bont on my house terrace.
                                    and on 17th february, i have to go their office again to set a cable from bont to my home.
                                    now it is 17th evening, and till now, its not resolved nor i got my connection. t

                                    THEY CALL ME NOW AND SAY, IT WILL TAKE TWO MORE DAYS TO DO THIS SHIFTING AFTER EVERYTHING IS DONE.

                                    IT IS AFFECTING MY WORK IN THE OFFICE AS WELL AS MY HEALTH.

                                    THEY WONT GIVE CLEAR INFO AND MAKING US SUFFER FOR THEIR PROBLEMS.

                                    THEY ARE GIVING FALSE PROMISES AND COMMITMENTS.

                                      Hello;

                                      This is Radha. We have taken Beam cable broadband services in November 2011. Its more than 3 months, nobody turned up to give the connection . For initial payment they used to continuously call us till we make the payment. we took 6 months subscription and paid 2600.

                                      This now only cable is given, but nobody turned up to give the connection. we are continuously making calls to their customer care, every time they raise a tickets and nobody would turn up.

                                      We are really fed up with their service, further not interested to have the connection.
                                      they might even repeat the same in future. We just want our money back refunded.
                                      My sincere request to everybody , don't go by Beam Cable Broad band services.
                                      Its really waste of time & money.

                                        Hi,
                                        i use ACT internet in Bangalore and i have a billing issue first to start with I do not get my bills in E-mail as promised by ACT when i took the connection, I have called ACT support center and reported E-mail ID which they have in their system is incorrect and needs to be changed from months now and this is not getting changed

                                        Now for this month same issue I didn’t receive in my E-mail, DAS the collection agent dropped into my place and delivered the bill and gave me an option of paying online. When I checked my account on line it showed my outstanding is 2800 INR and the bill I received was for 1100 ( aprox). Immediately I called ACT support and asked for a clarification and informed post clarification received will make the payment, which was agreed by support staff and I was offered a call back. I never received a call back for week and spoke to DAS and asked for escalation which I never received.

                                        While I was waiting for clarification to make the payment post clarification from ACT my line was disconnected on 30th. I called ACT support and asked for clarification & asked him to release my connection yet again I was promised a call back which never happened.

                                        I called ACT support team again and asked for clarification on billing again asked to release my line because there is no fault from my side in payments however I was promised a call back again which never happened.

                                        I called again to ACT today to know the status surprisingly i see my outstanding moved from 2800 INR to 4800 INR and told i didn't pay the bills for few months, actually for the months they informed me i got a wavier from Mr. prem for which i have E-mail proof for the same which was provided to ACT and they are denying to agree the same and denying to release my connection and denying to agree only 1100 in pending.

                                        Need help to get this issue sorted

                                        My Name is Vishal Kumar, I am from Lucknow I have ACT Fiber net last month I took this service I pay Rs.1884 on 8th April than I pay 677.41 on 5th may and my due is 15th may but still I make this payment on 5th may because I don't want any issue on my work but thanks to ACT Fiber net they suspended my account and the reason is I did not make payment I provide all the proof and submit transection id . I call customer service more than 5 or 6 time but they give me only time 1 hour, 4 hour and now 24 hour, my question is why I suffer when I make payment . All the time they say sorry, or I understand it's a worst service
