I have applied for new broadband connection on 20th April 2021, at that a representative from Airtel called me and told that connection is available in your area, will provide installation with in 24 hours and asked me to make the payment first, I made payment for 6 months plan. On the same day evening I got message that they are facing some issue so it will take 72 hours. But today as on April 24 2021 still I did not get any call from Airtel. So I called to airtel customer care but the answer I got was not all satisifactory. Now they are saying some technical terms which I cant understand and it will take more than 48 hours without any specification of maximum time. It means it can take 48 hours or 100 hours or even more. What kind of a customer service they are providing very worse of its kind.

    I am lokesh suthar(chitri, Dungarpur, Rajasthan) holding airtel mobile no. [[protected]]. Now in my mobile suddenly lost network and doesn't show any signal.. I try in another cell but having same issue..if I search for network then my application is hanged and stopped working, and showing only emergency signal. I am not able to call(dial & recieve) anywhere including customer care(121). You plz resolve this problem asap. Its very urgent..
    I have this type of issue 3 times in last 1 year..and paying 150 ruppes every time..

      I am using Airtel sim card no [protected]. According to me it is pre paid card. When I have depositeed Rs. 500 on official website of Airtel the amount is accepted. But when I tried find out balance of account I am told that my sim card is not a prepaid card. Please give me details of account

        Whenever i make a call to someone or someone's call is coming to my phone, we weren't able to talk correctly and clearly to each other because of voice cracking problem during phone calls. Please solve my problem as soon as possible. I'm facing this problem since 7 days.

          Not able to dial 59059 and it's automatically disconnecting. Tried switching off and on for 3 times, tried in 2 different phones and tried after 10 hours and tried speaking to 121 also from a different number. Pathetic service.would have tried atleast 20 times to 59059.

            Airtel mobile No.[protected] is not working properly in that, while dialling, calls are not connected evenafter 4 or 5 trials. Very rarely connection is given; but it is automatically disconnected in a few seconds. The phone exists only for collecting subscription by the company; not for the customer to make or receive any phone call

              Today morning i have made 249 pack then 98 rs data back now i got aleart 70% usage done .
              Am mot use more then 5GB.
              And now net working not working very worst service am very unsatisfied.i never suggest your network for anyone.
              Am also am changing to other network.

                Airtel made a mistake. Which in itself is understandable - They incorrectly recorded my visa validity date.

                They then went on to ignore my emails providing a visa copy to allow them to correct their records.

                They incorrectly claimed that the email address did not match the phone number. I sent them proof that it did and they still ignored me.

                Each time they responded instructing me to go to an Airtel store or call 121 to speak to an advisor. Given COVID risks I was only willing to entertain the latter.

                When I called 121 I tried every option to speak to an advisor. There are none. So they are misadvising customers. The responses, changes in advice and actions taken since then have been entirely inconsistent.

                They got a SIM to me but now say they cannot activate it without me going to a store. I have now been without a phone for over a week which is obviously dangerous. They also do not seem to understand anything about fixing their own mistakes or good customer service.

                I find it insulting how they have treated me and I think all their customers deserve better.

                Airtel are now refusing to allow me to keep my old number. This has lost me my Sony Liv and Hotstar accounts.

                In addition they continue to stall and not activate the new SIM

                Airtel now using lies to form excuses. Asking for documents and information which they have already been sent. I have attempted to contact the CEO. Not for the first time.

                In general airtel customer service just think they can send a polite message and do nothing. They seem to think that is their job description. They are unable to think it seems.

                Worst customer experience of my life. I’m disgusted.

                I’m still waiting for my answers and a complaint number. It’s been 3 weeks. I’ve given Airtel the following questions. Since they refuse to correct their error and have been sending me the same nonsense over and over, my response is to ask them every day for answers.

                Still no resolution or even an attempt to answer my questions. Despite me trying to remind Airtel this is their mistake daily. They are now just ignoring all tweets, DMs and emails. They really are a disgrace.

                  Hello,

                  I would like to highlight regarding I issue we faced while recharging my mobile no. [protected] on 6th April with Airtel service provider. This number was earlier a postpaid no. & I was in process of switching the service provider from Airtel to Jio however got convinced through the Airtel customer care to get it changed to Pre-Paid plan to save money.

                  Now without any idea how to get first recharge done, I made the recharge done via Paytm (using paytm account [protected]) & recharge was successful from Paytm side & Rs 598 (1.5 gb per day/84 day validity plan) was deducted from Paytm account for recharge of Airtel Pre-paid plan. (Refer the attachment in this email as a screenshot) However, I was not able to get my SIM activated for mobile no. [protected]

                  Enclosing the screenshot of this for your reference.

                  Later while raising a complaint to Airtel customer care, I was told, first recharge of prepaid has to be done at the retail outlet & not online. Hence, whatever recharge amount you had paid would get refunded via Paytm within 10 working days. So had to make another recharge by going to retail outlet of Rs 198 for activating my SIM of mobile No. [protected] which worked this time.

                  Now, Why paytm will make the refund of Rs 598 when transaction was successful? & Airtel ideally (being a merchant) should refund the money if service is not being offered. I already spoken to Paytm as well & they giving the same response as I was expecting, it is the responsibility of Merchant (Airtel) in this case to refund back the money back to my paytm account.

                  I already spoken multiple times to Airtel customer care but with no result. I was told within 10 business days paytm amount would get refunded, but then Airtel staff is claiming that paytm will refund the money but this is never going to happen since transaction didn't failed. Merchant (Airtel) already received my money & Airtel should be the one who should refund it back to my paytm account. Attaching the proof of ticket raised with Paytm where they clearly stating, its the responsibility of Airtel (merchant) to refund back the money in my paytm wallet. please check attachment (paytm response). Even after escalating the matter to airtel via email & contacting customer care, no help has been provided so far.

                  So could you kindly look into the matter & assist to resolve this issue at the earliest?. I already wasted lot of my time on this issue.

                  Looking forward for prompt response & fix to refund my paytm amount at the earliest from Airtel.

                      Airtel mobile no.[protected] is not working properly in that, while dialling outgoing calls, calls are not connected evenafter 4 or 5 trails. Very rarely connection is given and it is disconnected immediately after about 5 seconds. As this phone is not working properly, it is not possible to give complaint over phone.

                        On 5th march 2021 I came to DUBAI my Airtel sim [+91 [protected]] was working fine with DU network till 1 week. Now my sim is showing NO SERVICE since one month I have tried every possible way to tell Airtel customer service to look into my issue but they are not replying now. My friend is also having an Airtel sim in DUBAI and his sim is working fine with no recharge at least he is having network on his phone. I contacted Airtel customer they told me my complaint is been registered and it would be resolved by 19th April 2021 and now they have closed my complaint without informing me and I also contacted them on Instagram but they didn't respond to me there as well at the time of writing this, it is 23th April 2021 and my sim is still not showing any network. I request them to activate my sim as I will be not able to go to India due to Covid-19 and I Don't want my sim to be deactivated I can do a recharge of whatever amount they will ask for only after I will have network on my sim . I am facing issues while getting an OTP also. Please tell me a proper solution so that my sim can work here and give me a reason why my friends sim is working fine but not mine . My alternate contact number is +[protected]. I repeat I will do recharge only after my sim will show any network

                          The broadband service is down for 5 continuous days. This happens multiple times a month. The local customer service center switches off their phones and they don't fix the issue.

                            As we all know docomo has been merged with airtel.

                            My docomo sim had been deactivated.
                            Can you guys reissue my docomo sim number in airtel network either in prepaid or postpaid.

                            It's little bit urgent as my documents are linked with docomo number.

                              Hello, my name is Vinish Daniel. I live in Bhopal, M.P.

                              In the last week of March 2021, i requested for a new broadband connection at my home through the airtel website. Next day an airtel executive named Mohammad Hasnain (Hassan) who's name displays as 'Ali Manuri' also at some platforms, came to my house and proceeded with the formalities and i completed the payment of Rs.3536 that had to be done.

                              After a day or two the Hassan calls me and says that "Sir, some problem has occured and i have to login on airtel again so send me Rs.3236 (he said he was giving me Rs.300 discount because of the delay) and i will login again and proceed with your connection. After 3 days the installation was complete and ge said he will return the amount of Rs.3236.

                              After a few days i asked him (trustfully) that if he could arrange a connection at my uncle's house. He agreed and said to pay him the required amount for it i.e. Rs.3532 for the selected plan and said he will login amd tell us what can be done.

                              He didn't even bother to call for a week. Wehn i asked him to return the money he just stalled by saying that i will return this evening or tomorrow. But he didn't return any amount i.e. neither the Rs.3236 nor the Rs.3532.

                              I scolded him once so after that he returned Rs.3200/- and is now not returning the remaining Rs.3568 and not picking up phone calls.

                              This is a complete fraud case and i would like you to please contact Mohammad Hasnain and take action against him as soon as possible. He might have done the same to other customers also.

                              I will attach screenshots of the transactions.

                                On dated 03.04.21 we made a request of Airtel Xstream Fibre Broadband connection through Mr Mridul Srivastava (Airtel Employee) contact number [protected], and pay Rs 5232/= through net banking and received payment confirmation through Airtel Thanks app, transaction reference[protected], with a commitment that the broadband will be installed within 48 hours, at our office address N K Associates, F-495, Transport Nagar, Lucknow, Near Parking Number 9-226012
                                Since then his number is switched off, and we are trying to lodge complaint but unable to get any platform for the same.
                                In the above situation we are requesting you to made refund of our payment ASAP.
