My father (Late Ajit Dey) had purchased the above mentioned policy in Dec’10, we had earlier opted for health policy, but due to the fact he was suffering from CA Rectum and his age 65, he was not considered eligible for health policy, instead the agent Ashish ([protected]) from Bajaj Allianz advised to go the above mentioned policy as this was an investment policy and no condition related to health prevails (the cover condition does not mention of any health conditions or existing diseases) also there was no medical test, also we are assured that the sum assured and riders will be payable with guarantee and all the claim would be handled by the agent (INDIA INFOLINE) by Vikash ([protected]).
Unfortunately my father expired on Feb’11, to my utter disbelief and disappointment, INDIA INFOLINE was not helpful, their contact number in “certificate of insurance†does not work and I myself had to submit the claim to the nearest branch, also both the mobiles of Ashish and Vikash are not reachable, although an email intimation of the death was given on 9th March to Bajaj Alliance and INDIA INFOLINE.
We have received ONLY “certificate of insurance†as the ONLY policy document, we have not received any proposal and/or other policy documents or bond, two complaints has been lodged (I track Number: 10750699 and Issue No.[protected].
I am been given the reason of claim being repudiated as non-disclosure of material facts, I beg to disagree here as all the facts were revealed to the agent, also the agent advised that the policy in question is of “investment†nature and not of health or life, also we have not got any policy documents or terms and condition, where we could peruse and raise any objection or discrepancies found, we could have raised our grievance then.
There was no reply on question like:-
1) “If this was investment policy why are question on heath raised�
2) “If the policy has life cover, then why no medical test done or it is not mention of non-coverage of existing diseases�
3) “Why are the terms and conditions not part of the policy kit and not given or shared with a member�
Now after my email communication with Bajaj Allianz, I can only come to a conclusion that my father and now I have been misleaded and fudged by the agent or I am been given to experience lame excuse of not honoring the claim.
Bajaj Allianz Company is known for its justice at same level for all customers, but in this case I am facing in-justice that too at the time of my tough time in my personal life. I am expecting Bajaj Allianz Company to honor my claim. My Father and now I have invested our hard earned money and now I spending my precious time in getting my money back. I would request you to kindly help me in this tough time.
Hence hereby I put my humble request you to get the claim honored with an unbiased and without prejudice treatment to my claim. If not possible, then please assist me to get my premium of `50000 returned on the base of “breach of trustâ€.

BAJAJ ALLIANZ GENERAL INSURANCE — Not entertaining the claim already registered with the Company
My Wagon-R car No. DL 4C AM 1988met with an accident on 15.11.2010 and in the process Front Wind screen glass,Front and rear bumpers were damaged. The claim of the said damage was registered with the Company at around 1145 hrs.on 20.11.2010 vide no. ,OC-11-[protected]. Accordingly I went to DD Motors, PiraGarhi and filled up the Claim form.At around 1430 hrs a received a message from your Company to contact one Mr.Mohinder Singh,Surveyor.When contacted he refused to entertain the claim on the pretext that No-claim bonus has been taken by me in the previous year.I have taken Insurance cover for all Accidents andthird party insurance and such type of reply by a surveyor is totally vague.If your company is not able to entertain such a triffle amount, then why your agent contacted me and forced me to change from my earlier company i.e. National Insurance Company without knowing the entire facts.. If you are not able to entertain it, kindly refund my entire amount so that I should revert back to my Original Insurance Company.
