We had ordered the modular kitchen from Home town. Snehal took the order & confirmed that it would be installed in just 20 days. After paying the down payment of 28000, we got to know she left & sneha & sachin has replaced her. None of them had any clue about the order placed. We had to give them the details. The order was placed in last week of Feb-13, they confirmed the material would be delivered in 0-15 days and complete installation would be done in remaining days. Till today the installation is not completed properly. Below are the problem areas. 1. the dustbin holder & detergent holder was delivered on 29-Sep-13 month after multiple reminders & phone calls. 2. Its still not installed.The doors quality is worst, the nuts, bolts, hinges used are not of good quality.The doors are falling apart 3. The trolley is now rust & a replacement was ordered, replacement received but not of correct size. They took the trolley back & now replacement is yet provided.No call since then, neither is the replaced product still available with them to provide it to us. 4. The handles had quoting which is now not available. These are not fitted properly. 5. Everytime we call up they say the, material is orders but not received .. am not sure how long does it takes to order the material. Its been like more than 7 months now & i still do not have my kitchen trolleys, doors & others things delivered by hometown nor fitted properly.6. I have already done the full payment (1 Lac 14 thousands) in Apr-13 month & still I am struggling to receive some parts & for replacement. I am cheated. no value for money, Worst customer service & inpsite of paying all the amount even after 7 months iu dont get the product, how pathetic & frustrating is this.7. Everytime I call they say will come on weekends, we stay at home for them & there is no one coming nor do they have courtesy to call and inform about the change in schedule. 8. This is really frustrating and no one from the Home town is ready to take the complaint & provide the service ASAP. I have also dropped couple of emails to Priya ([protected]@futuregroup.in) complaint reference id 12363, still no response. Its been 19 days no response to my email. 9. Its been more than 7 months now & still the kitchen is not set-up whereas I was promised it would be done in just 10-30 days while purchasing the modular kitchen. 10. VERY BAD SERVICE AND NO FOLLOW-UP DONE FROM THEIR TEAM TO COMPLETE THE SET-UP OF THE KITCHEN. Could this be look into please. Thanks.

Since i tried calling your team twice yesterday on update . they confirmed to call back but i havent heard from them yet.
I still dont understand if the team cant call back, why do they even commit???????

I would appreciate a swift response & resolution on the issue, since its more than 7-8 months now.

    hello i have made purchase worth RS 5301 and the cashier swiped my card two times, when i asked him why he did so he said some connection problem, i was a little suspicious and asked him will i be debited twice he said "no sir the first transaction is cancelled" then i returned home and i crosschecked with my online banking and i was surprised to see there were two debits 5301 + 5301 = RS.10, 602. i rushed back to them and they said it will be credited back to my a/c in 8 hrs but its been 24 hrs no response i have registered a complaint with their customer care and raised a ticket no as well 7019466. invoice no 0079933 tid no 54311996 so please help me out with this mohsin [protected] mohsinabrar.[protected]@gmail.com

      I have purchased of Amount 4400/- on 22/9/2013 (Vide st-2545, ch-277641, tr-49514) of which returned some garment of Rs 827/-(vide credit note st-2545, ch-172448, tr-21523).

      In my next visit to you on 5/11/13 (Purchased of Rs 1722/-), your counter is refusing to take the credit note as it is expired in one month which i was not noticed at that time.

      Is there any other option to get the amount. please revert to us as it is a big amount for us.

        Hi, Request all people who read this post to check your bill against the MRP or promised discount on offer signage, I'm sure you will realize how brazenly Big Bazaar is cheating us of our hard earned money.

        Day before yesterday I bought two cans of Real Juice with offer signage claiming INR 161 for two together for select flavours. I selected the flavours mentioned. My bill should therefore show 161 but it showed 178. I was shocked, I asked the staff, they had no clue. The staff asked to go online and register the compliant, this felt extremely criminal to me, as Big Bazaar fraudulently overcharged me in the garb of discount. I had already paid by credit card. I then asked the staff to ask the store manager to see me immediately, as needed an explanation. No headway but utter incompetent behaviour and pleading to let go or over look.

        Then the staff made a hugely insulting gesture offering a couple of coins, which was so infuriating for me as my intention was to understand the problem, rightful apologies and remedial action.

        But I'm so hurt and disillusioned by there cheating and incompetent system and staff that I know seek compensation for such criminal harassment and they money they have stolen from me.

        Anyway my friends were also getting their billing done in parallel aisle, they randomly checked three products and they were overcharged (more than MRP) for a product of Amul. And the signage discount offer on Cherry Shoe Polish and again like my case Real juice not honoured and charged more.

        I have recorded video of the whole incident, and if I will release it and it will be extremely shameful for Big Bazaar to see it. I also have photographs of the bill, signage and products.

        We had asked the staff to give us contact details of the store manager a hundred times, which they did not do. So we are forced to shame Big Bazaar on the internet. I will post the pics now but giving las chance I'm holding on the explosive videos for now.

        Not to mention the staff had promised that they will contact us today and no body has contacted us. Also we have overpaid by our credit cards.

        In the bill look for the item Real with amount of 178, which should be 161. I will ask my friends to also elaborate their compliant here.

          We have recently shifted our house and hence the entire furniture was dismantled..Urgently we wanted it to be re-assembled to get settled at the new place...Mind you...a normal carpenter cannot fix it..Now, even after calling them up for the past 5 working days they haven't turned up till tow to re-assemble it...They committed to arrive today, hence I called up today morning to remind them to ensure that they send someone today at any cost..But all in Vain..Once again.. While writing this, I am on my 6th call with the Home Town customer care deptt...who has put me on hold for the past 17 minutes on the pretext that he is connecting to the local home town store... BUYRS BE WARE...THEIR AFTER SALES SERVICES IS PATHETIC..

            On 02/11/2013 I went to Big Bazar, Avani Riverside Mall, Howrah, and shopped amounting to Rs. 1401. First I tried to pay the amount from my Axis Bank Debit Card No. [protected], but according to the staff who was present at that time in the cash counter the transaction was not completed. So, I paid the amount of Rs. 1401 from my SBI Debit Card No.[protected].

            Later, when I checked my Axis Bank statement, I found the amount was debited from my account. E-receipt which I got from my Axis Bank e-banking is enclosed herewith for you ready reference. I am also enclosing the copy of the bill, which was billed using my SBI debit card.

            I also contact to the customer care present in the Big Bazar Avani Riverside Howrah, they wrote down my Axis Bank card number, my contact number, name etc. for contacting me about the matter, but I yet not received any call from them.

            I have also booked a complain to Axis Bank as per suggestion of Customer Care, Big Bazar Avani Riverside Howrah. but as per reply from Axis Bank they have not received any refund from the merchant i.e. Big Bazar. I am attaching herewith a screenshot of the mail from Axis Bank for your ready reference.

              Sir, I had booked two of the wall paper from Home Town on date 27/07/13, vid. receipt no 0001002. After some days about two weeks when I had taken rigorous follow up for delivery than they replied that the stock is not available. I requested to refund my money, then one of the sales people Mrs. Anuradha (Mobile no. [protected]) accept my request, and promise me to refund my money within two days. But it was not happen. Then I approached to Mrs. Renu for refund, she replied that they cannot refund money but they can make possible of next purchase by credit note. This was not acceptable to me so I approached to customer care and register one complain no [protected]. On date 07/10/2013. But they close my complain saying that with your concern we are closing your complain but actually I didn’t give any concurrence. I again launched complain with customer care No of complain was [protected] saying without my concern how can my complain can closed. But this complains as often closed by same day. This clears the picture of business practices of Future group. It seems to be organized frauds. This group has no value to the customer. All these event made me feel bad I request to you please intervene. It is my promise to me and to other civilians that I will fight this corruption and frauds to my last extent and I make ensure that all involve person must penalize. This series of event and breach of promise made me upset, I demand for full value of my money (Rs 4000) with 24 % interest and Rs 4000 as recompense. In Hope of justice …..                   Hi this is chitikela.praveen i have gone to big bazzar at Phoenix mall at Velachery on Oct 27th 2013 to purchase formal dress.
                  I have purchased the two formal shirts and that displayed with a big hoarding as buy 2 for 699, but as i went to pay for my products at the till it took for around 1 to 1.5 hrs there where two to three issues while i was waiting in the queue as the card machine isn't working, and at once they say they do not accept cards and finally they have accepted my card at the counter, as there is no card machine the staff a has to run to another counterpart to get the transaction through my card.
                  The cashier name : S.uma she says that the offer is not available on the shirts that i have picked from the spot where there is hoarding displayed with the offer as buy 2 for 699, they are just fooling Customers with these big hoardings displayed irrevalent.
                  S.uma she has done mistake by adding a 1.5 bucket to my bill that i haven;t purchased.
                  From there i went to the Customer Service desk that's the worst customer service i have found there is no response from there end.
                  Finally after 1/2 hr there comes the manager Balaji who has said that i will give you return and he had returned me 169 that they had charged from my card.

                  Finally overall bad experience with the Bigbazzar the offer is relevant and bad service overall it took 3 hrs and finally they have done the mistake.
                  Manager : Balaji says that these staff are not trained and they are placed to serve the customers.
                  Kindly take some action.
                  I thought to take photo of the hoarding at big bazzar but unfortunately my mobile has been out of charge, so i cannot go ahead to take pictures of hoarding.
                  This really is bad experience and worst image on big bazzar.

                    I have purchased a 3 door wardrobe from Hometown Dahisar on 15th September 2013 and the order no. was [protected]. The said wardrobe was delivered to me on 25th September 2013. On opening the packets, in front of the carpenters who had come from hometown for assembling the wardrobe, it was found that the mirror had 2 horizontal cracks on it. Immediately we called the customer care and informed them on the same day that is 25th September 2013 about the defect. The Customercare executive took the complaint and allocated complaint no [protected] and assured would look into the matter, which would take about a week’s time. Till about that week there was no response from Hometown. On 1st October 2013, I received a call from the customer care of Hometown and they told me that the request for replacement of the damaged mirror has been approved and since the same would come from their Nagpur warehouse, it would take another week’s time that is till 7th October 2013. I waited till the given time, but no action taken from your end. So I called up the customer care again on 7th October 2013 evening, the customercare executive told me that the issue would be resolved by 11th October 2013. As usual till the said time no replacement was received by me. For the same compliant I called the customer care 3rd time on 12th October 2013, the customercare executive told me she would report the matter to her seniors and they would call me back. Accordingly the senior executive called on the same day, he was not at all aware of the nature of complaint and was no able to tell by when the issue would be resolved, and he just kept on saying that he would look into the matter. It has been a month that I purchased an item from Hometown and made the full payment for the same, however they are no even able to provide an after service for a trivial item like replacing a mirror!!! The customer service is really pathetic; they just give big full page advertisements in newspapers showing discounted prices that they offer. But the services really bad. All those who are reading this please take this a feedback and do not purchase anything from Hometown looking at the discounted price, the trouble that you will face later is much more than the so called discount given by them. It would worth to buying all your needs from somewhere else where you are assured of good services and damage free items at the first instance

                      Dear Sir / Madam, I, Rajesh Lobo, have visited Big Bazaar located at Bharat Mall (Mangalore) several times, but never faced an issue until yesterday (October 11th, 2013) after purchasing stuff at Big Bazaar RCITY Mall (Ghatkopar, Mumbai). I purchased food items worth Rs. 1970/-. At the billing counter, they swiped my card twice. As soon as I received a notification text message from the bank, I enquired at the billing counter, for which they asked me to pay the amount in cash. When I asked for an explanation, they said that there was something wrong at the servers end and the money had not gone through hence I was asked to pay the amount in cash. I then insisted on speaking with the manager, who assured me that my money (that was debited twice electronically) would be credited to my account latest within 24 hours. I then co-operated and paid the amount through cash. I then managed to get all of this in writing from them since this is INDIA and its difficult to trust someone verbally. Its been more than 24 hours NO response from their side. On calling them, they now say that the money will be credited by Monday evening. My question to Big Bazaar / Future group is that, if you guys assure someone of encashing/crediting their money back, don't you feel its your responsibility to keep the customer informed about the status of the issue? I mean, all you could do is, inform your customer the reason for crediting the amount late and at least have the courtesy to drop a text message.                         When we[Family] visited to Big Bazaaar Kachiguda, We looked for our stuff but the services were so worse and inconvenient so we felt to go back and when we passed from the Exit door, Another man with a bag came along with me and siren beeped, He was standing at the door and it was beeping for long.They took me to checking room and harassed and found that i was innocent and none of them apologized me for the inconvenience, i saw the manager standing at the doors but He was being unaware of this thing.

                        I would suggest everyone not to visit this center, Because it too crowdy with no proper Infrastructure and no proper services are there.

                          I purchased a dinning Table from Home Town Vikroli againng order# [protected], When was it delivered I complained it was not from werehouse and delivered me from store as display unit. I complained at your customer care center, nobody responded me for a week so I had to visit you store and your one of senior representative convienced me that it was new piece and I agreed to assembled it. When your fitter open the box there were 2 chairs in broken condition and other 4 chairs were of 2 different model. They told me that they were replace with new set of chair and when replaced 2 chairs come that was also a differnt model. Couldn't understand how are you running such a big store with this basic issue. I am chasing with your customer care center since one month to take it back refund my money as I don't have trust in Hometown even in future group. I got call 2 weeks back that some will come and tke out dinning table but no respond after that either from store or from customer care. I had a call to your customer care 2 days back and they assured me that store will call you in the morning, i waited whole day yesterday but no respond. Trying to customer care today morning but seems some technical issue. I had a made a mistake to buy dinning table from Home Town I am chasing with them more than 2 months but not got money refund

                              With refrenace to my below complain I got a call from one o[censored]r field guy that he will be coming at my house to inspect the furniture, adding to it he said that I wil charged for the visit i.e ( 350rs ) & all other repairing charges which are there.


                              I have no problme in paying the chnarges, i just want to know is it my fault that I am trying to contact you guys from past 6 -7 months, but was not success due to u'r wrong no/fax mode no. o[censored]r branch.


                              No customer service number is been provided on web also, after so many unsuccessfull attempt i came across writing a e-mail.


                              If I had made a fault by buying furniture from u'r big brand, i regret for same & will let all my near & dear know about the same so that they should not be cheated as I am.


                              Please help, I do not want to loose trust on u'r brand.

                                I had ordered furniture worth 90,000 from Hometown Vikhroli. Was promised delivery dates for all 4 purchases - Bed, Mattress, Dining Table and Wardrobe and that furniture would be set up the very next day of delivery. The bed was delivered on time but I had to follow up multiple times with call centre to send a guy to set it up which yielded no result. Visited the store twice and after several follow ups got the guys late night to set up the bed. The mattress delivery was delayed by a day and they delivered wrong set of pillows which the store told me not to use and that they would replace them in 3-4 days. I followed up in store and on call centre for around 20 days before I got the original pillows delivered. Wardrobe delivery was promised within 21 days, a day before delivery date, I got a message saying "as informed, delivery date is pushed back by 10 days" without providing any information. again had to follow up with store and call centre to no avail. On the next promised delivery date I called them again and got to know they had pushed delivery back by another 10 days without any information. 15th September 2013 (which is today) was the date promised by the in store personnel. Again on inquiring I have come to know that the wardrobe is still out of stock and they have no visibility of delivery date. In summary they now hold my money with no promise of delivery of the item ordered. Its a case of fraud with the customer and I have no clue how to get my money back from them. Their customer care is absolutely incompetent and they have no regard for their customers and are committing fraud. Strict legal action must be taken against them, will recommend that no one visits this store in Vikhroli.

                                    Dear Madam/ Sir, This is with regards to our shocking experience at your Home Town Store located at Ishanya Mall, Pune. I am reaching your customer service for an urgent intervention from your end. Brief details: I had made a purchase of curtains worth Rs. 4077/ from your Ishanya Mall, Pune store on 28th July, 2013. After the purchase, we realized there was some minute damages in the curtains which we had purchased. These damages were on the curtains which were completely packed and were so small that it was only visible once we decided to open the curtains in our home. Basis communication from your store staff, our understanding was that the Policy allows customers to return the purchased products within 15 days and also in cases where the product is damaged we can avail full refund. Basis this understanding, we requested your store to return the curtains on Saturday 3rd August, 2013 (6 days after the purchase) and requested to provide us with a credit note so we can make another purchase. When we reached your store and highlighted the small damages in the curtains to your store employees, they blamed us for the damage and clearly said we cannot return these products. It was a situation of a complete shock for us realizing that a store of this stature and repute was blaming its customers for their damaged products. Your employees could not contemplate that how the product could have been damaged from their end. The entire discussion was focused on interrogating us so as to why we didn’t check all the 4 curtains before the purchase. Somehow, your store staff wanted to make us believe that we must have intentionally made one minute hole in the curtains and are trying to cheat the store. After one hour of arguing, shouting, convincing and being labeled as ‘CHEATS’, someone from the Management team had to be involved. Thankfully, good sense prevailed and they decided to return the curtains. By this time, in our mind the store had lost all its repute and we didn’t intend to make any further purchases. Therefore, under the Policy we requested them to refund the entire amount. After nearly 30 minutes of the process, we were assured that the money will be refunded in 20 days back in my credit/ debit card account. Till date, it’s been more than 30 days and I have no clue where my money is. When my wife tried reaching the store customer service executive Ms. Sneha numerous time, she seems least interested in helping us. After numerous follow ups to understand the current status of the refund, Sneha has stopped taking our calls and there is further help coming from your store. I request your urgent intervention in this matter. I am saddened by this experience from your store. Being in Corporate for so many years, I have fundamentally believed in big brands and blindly trust them because of their customer centric policies. However, this store of yours reflects essence of any local small time outlet. Its employees and customer service executives lack basics of dealing with customers. If avoiding customers is the new way of doing Business, than I am sorry to say that you will no longer be able to sustain such a Business.                                       I visited big bazar,Rave market,Kanpuron 24/08/2013.When I went for payment throughdebitcard,they replied me that as there was no connectivity,payment through debit card was not possible.In a city like Kanpur it is very sad.Another thing using debit card for payment,thrre were some benefits for me.Why do u use such type of service which doesn't work?

                                        we bought a bed from hometown which got delivered in three weeks but after that its now more than a week that nobody has turned up to assemble the same.the call center number is always busy and at times when we do get through, the guys at call center gives false promises that we are sending somebody tomorrow who will assembel your bed but unfortunately nobody turns up. we feel that we have been cheated and now I want my money back.
