(email : siju.[protected]@mahindraholidays.com) Ph : [protected] Sir, Sub : Cancellation of Membership and refund of Rs 44, 550/- New Mem No : 2643023 This is with reference to the above and further discussions we had with you on 17th July 2015 requesting you to cancel the membership and arrange for refund of Rs 44, 450/- debited to my credit card. I would like to bring to your notice that you and you had visited our office on 15th July 2015. You had requested me to take the club Mahendra membership. My credit card details has been collected and immediately you had debited Rs. 44, 550/- without my consent. Further I have to pay Rs 23, 871/- as EMI every month. As explained to you on phone on 17th July 2015, please note in this month I have to pay huge fees to my children education for my daughter and son. Further has expected I have not got the increment in this year in my organization. Now I am in big financial crises and I unable to continue my membership with ClubMahindra. In view of the same, I request you to Cancel my membership and arrange for refund of Rs.44, 550/- which is debited in my credit card. And also arrange to cancel the EMI in the Citibank credit card.     Step motherly treatment meted out to club mahindra members my husband's member no is 315253 ..We had waitlisted our request and also informed hotel poovar of our request but on arrival we were told that 1 br and studios get booked within half hour of opening of booking for the resort rooms and there are no cancellations thereafter. Indeed this is faster than even summer train bookings. We are dining at the restaurant here and we find it mostly empty even during peak hours and the resort itself has a deserted look. We have visited many club mahindra resorts at various times and seen the presence of crowds. Many of the studio rooms look deserted. Even the staff here mention that it is a lean period.The front desk gentlemen were only interested in customers who had come through different travels and not in club mahindra members-- we had been dumped by poovar resort management on second floor hus against our request for studio though we are senior citizens and i have a bandaged hand due to an accident. I have been a member of club mahindra redseason for more than 9 years. It is a 25 years holiday membership.For becoming a member one needs to pay the membership fee and annual maintainance fee -- above rs.10000.. At the time of joining we were given a rosy picture of holidays that could be availed with ease across large number of resorts.How ever our experience over the years have been as under--1)we vhardly ever get the desired studio rooms which we are entitled, unless we book three or four months earlier that too only on weekdays and not on weekends.
    2)lot of compromises have to be made regarding the place of visit and time of visit.Holidays can be planned not on your convenience but on the convenience of club m ahindra.
    3]at the time of joining we were given to understand that club mahindra resorts are meant only for members. However over a period of time we find more nonmembers in the resorts than members..---since the rooms are available through travel desk sights like trip advisor, make my trip etc.A cash customer is more valuable than a member who has already made an upfront payment.

    4)when we were offered red studio we were specifically told that studio apartment come with a kitchenette, where we could prepare our own food using microwave oven, cutlery etc.However most of the resorts now do not have kitchenette with studio rooms.

    5)with vast promotional drives to enrol members the ratio of members to rooms available have gone up., resulting in less inventory for more members .This has resulted in members not getting desired rooms at desired locations and time
    Above points indicate that the time sharing model is an imperfect one, currently heavily loaded against the members. There is no guarantee for the promises made while receiving the full upfront payment.There is no clause for opting out of this membership by refund of remaining value . In view of this it is necessary to bring in regulations by the government., so that malpractices can be prevented and membership to inventory maintained and promised services are rendered.

    Don't become a member of this club mahindra and squander your hard earned money.The above reply is the standard reply you get from club mahindra.If anybody wants to stay in clubmahindra resorts then book your holidays through make my trip, tri advisor etc .If you book your holidays through this companies you will be treated royally and given the rooms of your choice .And it works out cheaper too members have already paid and i feel govt. Should bring in some regulations so that members rights are protected. Rema muralidhar

      I have attended a session of Club mahindra holiday at mumbai... They have given Cine rewardz voucher for two times booking of movie tickets. But after registration and booking from cine rewardz site, I have not received any ticket both the time... They are real fraud... Later they issue me new voucher but problem persists... Really it is very cheap work from club mahindra...

        Hi I am venugopal I became member of club mahindra in February 2015. As one executive told me they produce ecs cheque after 3 month's and they made me member but they produced ecs to my account on March itself but they tell me story of sorry . So of this I dint have hope on club mahindra people one manager Kiran and his executive lokesh. This people call 10 to 20 times they need member's after that they don't have time resolve my problem I am feed up of this cheating club I want to close membership and cheque's to given back and give my down payment back

        Mr. Anil from mahiindra club bangalore reached me and telling the story about they cant refund my down payment. but i not even utilised there culb for 1 rupee. because of there fault we have to compramise with them, and they are sure about my down payment not posible. they have only option of convinceing.

            Club mahindra Member ID given in message is 2639057. I have applied for club mahindra holiday package on 28th June 2015.They called me after 5 days for confirmation but the call was disconnected.I called their customer care and requested to complete the application process.But they called me after one week and explained the actual benefits what I am going to get.Sales representative presented lot of offer and in actual during the confirmation call these offers are not existing.They have taken the down payment through credit card. I requested to cancel the application and refund the downpayment but they are refusing to do that because they are telling the cooling period of ten days is over.This is not my mistake that they called me after 10 days for confirmation. Please take necessary action to cancel my application and refund the downpayment.

              I with my wife and son visited your Growel’s Mall, Kandivali East-Mumbai store in December month. Mr. Aryan and Mr. Amit were the personnel who attended us. We were told many things of having a Club Mahindra Holidays. We liked it and decided to go for the Blue-Studio membership on EMI basis. I paid Rs. 22000/- upfront payment and set an EMI of 5662/- starting from February 2015. We were also given a complimentary 3 nights-4 days holiday and Rs. 3000/- food voucher. Mr. Amit asked us when would we want this complimentary holiday and I specified March end. To which he said fine. Somewhere in Feb or early March I logged in to your website to book the same but couldn't do as the inventory was not available. I visited the store and told Mr. Aryan about the problem. He told me that I had to pay minimum Rs. 37000/- to avail the same. I asked him how to make an advance payment to which he replied that the same can be done on website. I went on the website and found that there is no provision to make an advance payment. Hence I could not book the holiday for March end and thought I would wait till 7th April, my EMI date. Post 7th April when I visited website I could not get the availability for your Goa Resorts. I also received one phone call in April end, from your customer service, saying that a special permission has to be taken for my complimentary holiday if would like to avail the same in May because my membership is for a lower season. The rep wanted me to give him the booking dates then only. I told him that I would have to check with my wife and plan a leave before I can do that and told him to call back after 2 days. I never received a call back from your representative till date for the same. Then I decided to close the membership. I tried calling your customer care centre twice on 6th May, the call went through but no one spoke. You can check your call records for the verification of the same. Then I wrote an email putting a request for stopping of EMI payment. However the EMI still went through reason being that I made a request post you organisation’s deadline. In this digital age where transactions happen online somehow your organisation is still stuck in stone age with a TAT of 15 days. Why is it that to accept money organisation works on a lightning speed but when a customer requests for stopping a payment your entire machinery start dragging its feet. I wrote an email requesting for a refund of May EMI and stopping further payments. I received a call back stating that I need to have an active membership to avail the complimentary holiday which I was allowed to avail post Rs. 37000/-. Fine. I requested on 19th May that please book complimentary package for any 3 days before 7th April. Your customer service called after a day, discussed the dates but while booking the gentleman said ‘system is slow sir, I will call you back’. Great. Well I never got a call back. Instead after 2 days I received an email stating that since I have taken Blue season membership I cannot travel in the said duration. I want to highlight few points here which shows wrong selling at your part. 1. No calendar or chart showing which dates fall in which season was shown to us while taking the membership. We were told Blue would be an off-season and we said ok. If your organisation has such strict demarcation of seasons then we should have been told the full detail so that we can take an informed decision. How one interprets off season can differ from person to person. It was your organisation’s responsibility to make the customer aware of the most important details of the plan. 2. If complimentary holiday was to be taken post payment of Rs. 37000/- we should have been informed accordingly. Mr. Amit made my payment plan and didn’t inform or consider that taking the same in March end will not be possible for reason of incomplete payment. It is hard to believe that he somehow missed this detail. 3. We were not told that the complimentary holiday can only be availed in the membership season. This was never told to us at all interactions – a. The day we took the membership b. The day customer care called to ask if we have been explained everything. I had said ‘Yes’ in ‘Good Faith’ to your organisation and people. c. The day when I re-visited your office and met Mr. Aryan. 4. As told by customer service that to put a Stop Payment request the deadline is 24th of every month. This means that we should have availed the complimentary holiday between 8th and 23rd April so that in-case if we wish to cancel the membership we could do so by 24th April. Till the time 3rd EMI was not captured by your system holiday inventory was not updated and this took at least 2 days. So your system gave me a window of 13 days to plan, book and take the holiday. Even this somehow being fine by Club Mahindra’s standards, by the time inventory was uploaded on my membership id the said dates were already filled. 5. 3 different statements for the same holiday package – a. I was forced to book the holiday at the same instant as some approval is required. After I requested I was told that I will get a call back after 2 days. I never received the call. b. Again your customer service called discussed the dates said system is slow and I’d get a call back. No call received. c. Instead of a call an email stating I cannot travel between the said dates. 6. One more thing I want to mention – RCI membership. It was a much hyped membership and was sold very loudly. We were shown a very rosy picture of 5 star hotels and resorts around the world. However it was not told to us that, in India, more than half of the resorts under RCI would be Club Mahindra resorts leaving us with a very limited choice. Though it was given free, but still wrongly sold. I asked for a full refund however i was flatly denied. Moreover instead of giving a solution i was coerced into taking a holiday and let go of 4th EMI and forget the manner.               More Great News!!! Immediately on posting the complaint i receive a call from [protected], Vikas, claiming to call from Club Mahindra. He said he will refund the entire amount and asked me how i paid. i told him via credit card and gave him the bank name and of course the link to that bank was down. He then inquired if i can give him some other credit/debit card number and i gave him that. he was very insisting on SBI bank thankfully i had none. He asked for the card number, expiry date and cvv number to transfer money.

              Fraudsters also scout this website and ask for card/bank details. Please don't give any details to someone over phone.
              I was one of the victim of the Fraudsters and lost Rs.17000/- within 5 minutes.

                Hi My name is Asfaq Shaikh and I was invited to one of your branch at surat rajuraj mall, dumps road. One of your employee name Arrun or arpana patel(I don't remember her name excatlt) insulted us. 1st she shows us all pakage and v agreed to take one but v have postpone it after 2 month because of our prior commitments .But she forced us to buy on the spot and pay money and when v said no c started insulting me and my wife and passed sarcastic comments. We have liked your product so much but your staff don't know how to get with customers.You are in service industry and this is starting point with club mahindra and I have complaint.how you except to stay with you for 25 year.                   I was a member of club mahindra id 2629762 i had withdrawn few months after i joined it. Mr brijesh who worked i dehradoon branch made false statement that we can refund our money even after we go for a vacation if we dont like but the case is different when i had backed out from it. So in future i will make sure people should know through social media how CLUB MAHINDRA agents lie & fake things.

Hamsa Dara that the membership is fully refundable if you don’t like our services in the gift voucher given resorts which is totally false. Even the 4 movie voucher’s which has been promised to me is yet not delivered at my doorstep. None of your executive is picking up my phone to proceed with the cancellation procedure as agreed earlier. It is very unfortunate that an organization like Club Mahindra is having such customer unfriendly terms and conditions since there services does not meet the promises which the sells person tells to the customer. I have been informed that you can always reach out our local branch Andheri executive which was not at all reachable on phone (have call log details and SMS’es). I wish to withdraw my membership since the promises made to me during offering were false and mis-leading. There was no clear communication on payment of first 3 EMI’s for my complimentary voucher in the first meeting, if it has been told to me that I have to pay membership fees plus 3 EMI’s then I could have avoided the deal. This was miscommunication and has also been reported as complaint to the feedback team. I have started escalating the matter and no responses been made to me. Mr. Abdul Shaikh was not reachable for so many days and only conversation was happening on SMS which is totally frustrating. All I was informed is that if I can cancel my membership now, I won’t get any refund amount due to some clause which was printed in their application form which I was totally unaware of and have not been mentioned anywhere in the welcome kit. Since I relied on the information given by the sales executive and his manager and saw no reason to read the application form which might they have forged my signature also on the specific terms and conditions. I was not informed about this clause at the time of taking membership since it does not suits my requirements and does not fit to my pocket. This is not just a complaint but a case of ignorance, misleading, cheating and fraudulent towards the customer. So I not only want my refund back with full interest but also a compensation for my time wasted for the last 2-3 months with atleast an apology from the employees involved. Therefore I request an intervention from the highest possible authority and immediate action on this else would be forced to take the legal action against the company and 2 executives involved.                       Hi, I am getting constant call from your DSA (claiming so) from number - [protected] on my mobile. Several time I have informed that I am not interested about the free packages and all but that person keep calling and calling. Even that person using very bad language. I am almost frustrated about this. Please take care about this kind of fraud case.

                          Hi this is Gurudas Haldankar. I had attended one seminar at their Mira Bhayander Mumbai office and they gave me one cine rewards voucher. The Cinerewards voucher is a big fraud. They say we need 48 hours to book the tickets and despite 96 hours they dont revert. They dont even bother to take ur call and answer back. Its looks like a scam.

                          I had called Cinerewardz today but no one picked up the phone. Its a fraud or scam Club mahindra with Cinerewardz. I did cancelled my movie visit with family also as it would result in seeing the Movie twice. U people failed badly.

No.1 We went for presentation not for disclosing our personal life data. No.2 During the presentation music player like dance club, which was not able to held a healthy conversation. No.3 Employee were doing their personal work or rather I would say not like a company it's like café area where love and romance held. No.4 Immediate all employee validation suggested if club Mahindra tag No.5 Due to ethics and norms all company name, reputation and image is going down.                                 So many unsatisfied customers their hard earned money being cheated by club mahindra legally they promise the holiday and they can't provide as there is no room atall only few available they are booked alredy . they took the money when we call every time they say there is no availability club mahindra should realize they can cheat one or 2 customers but not all the customer some the other day they will have to pay a heavy price . shame on clumb mahindra shame club mahindra owners immoral business you people are choking and sucking the hard earned money of innocent public your life will be a mess too so many people are cursing day and night you can't leave in peace in this life nor next.

                                  Anuradha Bansal, contact No : [protected] & [protected] stole a cheque from my diary, Cheque No:142622 of SBI Dispur Branch. I have lodged a Police Complain against the lady and the organisation. a copy of which will reach your Salt LAke office in few days.Take corporate action against Anuradha Bansal and Anunay Jha, As Misss.Anuradha is planning to move to Dubai, so action has to be taken as soon as possible. Police will do its part, as I have spoken to the S.P. as the fraud has happened out of Assam, and they will coordinate with Kolkata police, is assured. but their are certain corporate actions as firing the employee, as it is a compliance case company should take actions. it is a fraud only to me but to company also, misleading the company saying a sale has been closed where as they have been tourist in Shillong, which is a hillstation.If any action is not taken against Anuradha Bansal and Anunay Jha, Club Mahindra Holiday office will be actioned strictly. It is a warning as I will publish the incident with proofs in the news paper, if the actions are not taken immediatly.

                                    MIss.Anuradha Bansal and Anynay Jha visited Shillong and as I knew Anunay Jha i went to meet them, see off. while that I had my cheque book along with me. While i was busy talking to Anunay Jha, i was noting down the Kolkata office address in my diary. within that period Anuradha Bansal stole a cheque leaf. They went back to Kolkata, and in order to show their sale in Shillong, wrote an amount of Rs. 1, 75, 000.00, and deposited in their office as a sale done. They in fact wanted me to arrange 4 fake SIM cards to show the details of sale, which I disagreed. now Anuradha Bansal in order to show the sale deposited my cheque with a fake signature of mine and as such the cheque bounced and fund was debited from my account and I got a SMS & an intimation from the bank. I discussed the details with the bank who suggested to make stop payment of the cheque, and lodge a complain of fraud in the Police station. I have lodged a complain in the Dispur Police Station for THEFT, FRAUD, MISLEADING CLIENTS, FAKE SIM CARD, Take your official action as soon as possible as she is planning to move to Dubai, permanently or else I will lodge the complain against Club Mahindra Holidays, for fraud.

                                    I have tried to call Miss.Anuradha Bansal and Anunay Jha repeatedly for past few days, but they do not come over phone and do not even reply to SMS. I am sending you the screenshot of my SMS as they took Rs.1000.00 for lend, as they were falling short of money to pay to the broker to confirmt their ticket.
                                    Take company's action as your norms, and I am lodging a case of Fraud, Theft, and Bank Cheque Fraud in Dispur P.S. Guwahati

                                      I checked ur mail regarding no plicy for refund...

                                      So how can be my complaint resolved??????????

                                      i want my deposite amount back and dont want to continue with club mahindra.

                                      Not Refunding money

                                      Their sales guys has deducted money from my credit card without my authorisation. I have been told that If I opt for cancellation, then within 10 days I can cancel it and get my refund.
