I have purchased DELL company's(DELL-VOSTRO 1015 S.No.:POLPEN85409) Laptop dated on 26-Feb-2010(Invoice No.-Feb-19/2010 & Invoice Ammount Rs.32500 ) for its good will and good performance from Softech Computers(address-Khatyima Road,Ward No.-10.Near HDFC BANK. SITARGANJ. . Tin No.-[protected]..). but I am now i fell that it is a rumor and fake. because it is not working properly well after purchasing and DELL company's servicing. so many times I mailed to DELL Company’s area service engineer Mr.Deepak, Mr.Sayed, Mr.Chandra sekhar but no reply I have received from their side.
At first my Laptop started Heating abnormaly and a horizontal line arise in the screen. I informed DELL company. then company’s employee(technician) came or service and Issued a report - "check & replace LCD,LCD Cable, Motherboard ,Heat sink, CPU Fan and post new Note Book working OK." Dated on-08'june 2010 Service Tag-H5RXKL1. after servicing the Laptop was not working due to CPU Fan. because CPU Fan was not running and Heat-up and Hang problem of Laptop continued. during the service time I told DELL Company’s technician about that problem but he ignored. then Dated on - "16'th June 2010 DELL Company’s technician Mr. Girish Chand came and issued report- check Laptop Fan not working so replace Fan and Heatsink now system is working". but after servicing the problem wasn't solved. then i complained and DELL’s technician came again and issued report-"check & replace CPU Fan and Heatsink now Laptop working ok"-dated on 21"st sept. 2010.
after 3 times servicing the problem remain same. i have informed DELL company so many times but they didn't take any action.
I told Softech Computers authority to replace my Laptop other wise solve my problem. They also didn’t take any action and tell me –we can take your Laptop or buy it for Rs.22000(actual purchase amount is Rs.32500). But I wasn’t agreed because I have to loos Rs.10000 for that offer.

I am now helpless because nither DELL Company took any action nor Softech Computer. So that’s why I come to consumer forum to solve my problem. I hope after this complain you will take action.

DELL — not working well

I purchased one DELL laptop Inspiron N5010 4 month ago with service tag F9QY5N1 AND ORDER NUMBER[protected] but my laptop having some problems now.It become restarts when some small shaking occurs.I went dell service center in Hyderabad.they told me to pay 1500 rupees service charge.But my laptop having 3 year international warranty.But it bought from Dubai so the warranty location is Europe Middle East or Africa now .I already requested to change my warranty location to India but it exceed 15 days now.I didn't get any responds from DELL.you suggest me what I will do next.please contact me urgently my phone number [protected] and mail id [protected]@gmail.com

    Dell is cheating on his customers by charging them for licensed version of O.S but not providing one nor retailers are educating cust to create recovery disc.Incase you haven't created recovery disc or your disc is not working ,they are not providing O.S cd but image restore which is not complete OS what they have charged for.I will request everyone not to buy dell laptops at all as i have two cases known to me where there hard disk has gone faulty within 3 months of purchase and i also faced same issue with my dell laptop.Pathetic services and cheat company dell is.Now they are asking me 300 rs and the disc that they will provide will not still have Operating system but Image restore.Why should i pay?? when i ahve paid for licensed version and my system is only 3 months old.

    very true. i bought laptop in september 2010 and its very very slow. on calling customer care they asked to reinstallthe OS. it made no difference. but it seems they have no other support to offer even thopugh my laptop is under wsarranty. DELL is cheating its customers.buy any laptop but not dell

      Lan card not working. LED at the port where internet cable is connected is not working since last 2 months.Dealer from which Desktop was purchased not responding. No response from dell customer care centre also.Pls resolve the problem. For not reason I have to pay internet bill every month without using it.

        DELL — Delivery of damaged laptop

        Hi,
        I have purchased a new INSPIRON 15 R Laptop from Dell, after the delivery I found that Laptop is slow in performance and top pannel is damaged....I have logged a request with Dell to check the same and found that Hard Disk Drive is corruput and having Bad Sectors.
        I have reported the same issue to dell and asked them to replace the laptop. They have provided me the Service Request Number and told that it will be replaced in a month.
        Almost 2 months has passed but I have not received any call back from DELL regarding the replacement. Even after multiple followups I have not got proper answer from DELL Support team, they just forward MY calls into different departments and waisted my time.
        I am fealing like cheated after purchasing the dell laptop, please help me in resolution of the issue.

          Hi,
          I purchased a new DELL laptpop Inspiron N5010 on NOV 10th 2010. This laptop dint even last for few hours. When i try to switch on the laptop its not turning on. Remind you this is just the second try i was trying to switch it on and for the first time it was just on was 20-30 minutes. This is because when you close the laptop it goes to hibernate mode and this keeps the battery running. After this i goggled and found out that dell laptops has this problem from long time especially INSPIRON N5010

          This happpend on DEC 10th 2010. The complaint was raised (ref. no 5820909) at DELL customer service, they took 3 days to attend the problem. Now they say that the battery and motherboard needs to be replaced and it takes one week. Do you beleive its not even a month of purchase and those things turns faulty. Customer care always take 3 days to 1 week to provide onsite service and more time they take the warranty periods gets over soon. Dell gives you just mere 3 months of warranty period.

          The laptop costed me around 41,500. Such a waste of money by chosing the worst product. First of all DELL laptops are very costly and on top of that they want to make lots of money by proving such a faulty laptops and billing us for the service. If this had happened after 3 months then i would ve to shell out around 10-15k more.

          GUYS PLEASE DONT GO FOR DELL Inspiron N5010, BETTER AVOID DELL BRANDED LAPTOP ITSELF. YOU WOULD DEFENETILY REPENT AS I AM NOW.

          It is because you had purchased a branded computer but the service is worst . The reason is due to the rotten management managed by Manager, TM and Trainer Manager and ER who train for dell laptop in Mumbai.
          The employee are not to be blamed, cause it is due to the pressure put on them by their seniors and also lack of training.
          You should notify the VP, CEO who stays in US and also notify the headquarters of India in Chennai, Dilip Vellodi who is the MD of sutherland which has dell process and also there is Sitel.

          dell inspiron n5010 — System Does not Work Proper

          I have sent this mail 10th may 2011, dell didn’t reply me.
          This is my final mail i[censored] didn’t reply within 24 hr I will take action.
          I have faced many problems after purchasing DELL system since last 8 month.
          1) I have used Seagate Hard disk. It had unallocated space problem.
          I have also registered complaint to your technical department.
          They send Service Engineer to repair HDD and RAM.
          He removed Seagate HDD and inserted Samsung HDD on my system However, RAM is incompatible to the system therefore He didn’t replace the RAM.

          I told to the technical department that “please send me the HDD that is exactly about as per my system configuration”. But He said they did not send proper part.
          Dell had sent me the web link of customer feedback on my mail ID.
          I had given the feedback to the dell web link.
          They did not give me the proper solution about my problem.
          2) 3 month before changed HDD,
          Again facing same problem.
          Like...
          ? System Hot within 2 hour.
          ? 2 and half hour system automatically stop working.
          ? Cannot work properly.
          ? HDD space unallocated.
          ? USB Port Do not recognized.
          ? Bluetooth did not detect mobile phones.
          This problem I have faced many time.
          Again, I spoke about this problem with technical department
          And I requested please give me the proper solution.
          In April Month I had certainly called 7 days to technical department
          Every day technical person told me.
          “Today proper tools are not working can u call tomorrow”.
          Finally, After 7 days I was very hyper tension and I told technical person “After proper working update tools then come office”.
          He told me “sorry sir”, and finally
          He manually made by dispatched.

          I told to the technical department that “please send me the HDD that is exactly about as per my system configuration”.
          They told me ‘YES, I will send proper HDD as per your system configuration of HDD and RAM.
          They assured get back within 4 to 5 working days as replacement.
          I was waiting for 4 to 5 working days but service Engineer didn’t not came on time.
          After 15 days I get a call from Service Engineer. He came at my home and replaced above mentioned part.

          Service Engineer changed HDD and RAM product of Samsung company

          But I have already told to the technical department that “please send me the HDD and RAM that is exactly about as per my system configuration”.

          Again they did not send me proper part.

          I told Service Engineer why you are installing HDD and RAM of different company.
          He said I don’t know about this product please called Dell Technical Department.

          Give me the Answer about replacement Dell Provided Services.

          3) After Changing HDD and RAM, Facing New Problem
          Like Do not recognized USB Port and Bluetooth.
          I had called technical department and I spoke the problem what I have faced.

          I have communicated 2 and half hour with technical person finally she provided me the solution of changing the Mother Board.
          She made a dispatch and case no. is 6997567. Date is 8 May 2011.
          She told me provide the part of replacement within 3 to 4 working days.
          This is list of Problem .....


          1) LCD rounded Hinj Problem there is different sound...chance of crack the base
          2) System automatic hang and stop working
          3) Cannot work properly.
          4) HDD space unallocated.
          5) USB Port Do not work proper.
          6) Display Problem
          7) When DVD content copy on Hard Drive then system take a time 2:45 min.
          8) Changed mother board two time but problem still there.
          9) Battery Problem...


          I spoke about this problem with technical department
          And I requested please give me the proper solution.

            crashed all of sudden,putting me at the risk of losing all my personal data
            that i have stored in the laptop.

            I have registered a complaint with dell case no-5796833,and there are
            going to change the hard drive.

            I want to raise certain points in this context about the kind of product
            Dell india is selling through

            1> Dell product has no reliability and have resorted to cheap tactics of
            assembling low quality and very unreliable product.
            2> Dell are selling substandard product to consumer in order to be competitive in the market.
            3> Dell customer service executives are the most pathetic in there Customer
            response and handling.

            DELL — hard disk

            Hi my name is Allwyn. I have purchased a dell laptop Inspiron 14 on[protected] after two weeks I had problem with my laptop. I went to the dealer where I purchased the laptop he called up dell customer service and gave complaint. After a week yesterday[protected] I received a parcel from dell contains a motherboard & a hard disc. And also they have arranged an engineer visit today[protected] morning by 10.00am. He checked my laptop and he said there is problem with the hard disc. He said he will service and fix the new hard disc. I dint allow him to do that because it’s not even a month so I told him to replace a new laptop he told me to contact the customer service. I called up customer service more than five times they put my call on hold and they disconnected my call. No proper Response, Poor customer service.               Hi !!! Let me introduce myself. I am Ashish. I work with Coca-Cola as Team Leader and looks after Chennai.

              One day while working on my Dell Inspiron 6400, discovered that mic is not working. I went to Dell service Centre in Chennai.. They b4 checking made me clear about charges (as my warranty period was over well b4)..

              (1) Consultation fee Rs 1200/-( that is just to say what is problem with my laptop u need to pay Rs1200)

              (2) If it is mic slot/point which is not working i need to change full mother board(cost Rs.22000)

              (3) When i asked problem is with mic why do wana change full mother board he says that is d only way out..

              I mean it's complete loot... I really recomend b4 u buy any laptop plz confirm after sale services. Just bcoz one smalll chip not working they will change full laptop and earn profit.


              DONT BUY DELL!!!!!!!!!!

                  hi this is dikul patel from gujarat.. i have purchased dell inspiron laptop from dell india online and contacted via their seles department.. mR raj khan sold me this on 11th nov and i received laptops on 18th nov.. but yet not received adapter, mouse which is mentioned in the bill/quotation...

                    Dear All,
                    this is regarding my dell laptop with Service tag 33YRK1S Inspiron 6400 Model.

                    I am Owning Dell Laptop since many years and i gave approx 9-10 K every year to dell for increasing my warranty.

                    my laptop is covered under complete cover accidental coverage for which i am paying huge premium.

                    approx 2 months back my laptop was accidentally damaged..

                    since then i am chasing dell and laptop is still not resolved. although my service contract is On site , but still they sent me to service centre, still issue not resolved.

                    every time part coming from dell is fabricated part which is non-functioning.

                    i have wasted my 2 months in giving time to technician, lots of call . service is pathetic and call customer is full of complains.

                    last time i spoke to them and ask for Refund, Manager advised me that i can process the refund but my advise is to give us one more chance to resolve the issue, and if not then we will refund, even after that when part reached it was faulty.

                    today when i called same thing they said, and said no for refunding amount.

                    Kindly Help Me.

                      With reference to above cited subject it is stated that I have purchased a Dell studio 1558 notebook Lap Top -OCQT S541031IN8 R/O order No 0492734 Tax Invoice No. 00399929, service Tag No. DK7V4BS, express service code [protected], Model No PP39L, purchase on Invoice dated 27.01.2010 from your company.
                      But it is regretted to say that the Lap Top is not working satisfactorily since it is purchase either due to manufacturing defect or other defect of Lap Top. The fault comes frequently again and again in Lap Top. Frequent maintenance has caused disappearance of original look of Lap top. Your service centre also so far in my son IIT College Ahmedabad so very difficult to approach frequently. The details of fault observed and restored to your company are as under.

                        Sir myself Rahul Yadav, I have ordered a dell Laptop and paid Dell money on 27th Oct2010.Then i got order conformation and order number as I will get Laptop on 11th Nov 2010.When i confermed them what is status on 8th Nov, they told me that modle is stoped production we will give you higher confrigation in same price and asked me for 8 days time and then new order conformation they have given and new delevry date was 19th Nov.On 18th Nov they says it will take again two weeks so i deceided to cancle they told me it will take 8 days and they asked me to drop a mial regarding this.I did it then in some time they again call me and said they will give on 27th Nov and said sorry for it.I said ok but they have not given order conformation.They have given on 19th evening.And in that mail they have given date 14th Dec2010.I was anoyed and i sended them order canclation Mail but they have not responded me.So i called them on Customer care number for canclation on 22nd Nov as Sat.&Sunday was there Off so on monday 22nd Nov i called them now they says it will take 25 working days.I said your manager has said me that it will take only 8 days they said sorry for wrong information.
                        Sir you only tell what to do.If it is the case my money will be come back to me on 28th Dec.Means 2 months from my payment to Dell.Sir i have taken loan for it bank will not leave loan intrest because of Dell delay.They will take.Sir Dell is using my money for two months and giving notting.I told them about i will go to consumer court.They says we can't do any thing it is out of our hands.I have every documents they sended to me and so many mails which i have sended them.
                        Please sir help me.And get my money as soon as possible.And i want Dell to have a good lesson on this.You can see sir iam not the one Dell India Pvt has done to many ones like this in Delevry.They says 8 to 10 days.But reallty is diffrent.Please Help sir.

                          I have purchsed laptop on 11 september 2010,after two dats laptop got problem & it got hanged. after contacted with Dell Techniocal support they told me that problem with Hard disk so they will replace that.
                          On 25 th september Dell engineer visited at my home He Replace Hard disk & DVD drive but due to Unavailibility of Operating System Disk i could not checked Laptop at that time,
                          so again i booked complaint for OS Cd. after 15 days later i got OS Cd but still laptop not working, On 8 octomber 2010 I gain called customer care & spoken with Dell Technical Support. & I asked about Replacement of my sysytem.
                          On 8/10/2010 they promise to give me replacement of whole system.
                          Today is 18/11/2010.
                          but i'm not received any replacement.
                          such poor service of Dell

                          Dell / Inspiron 15R — Not giving the working Laptop

                          Dear Sir,

                          This in reference to the customer harassment in Dell.
                          I ordered (Order No: [protected]) Dell Laptop (Model - Inspiron 15R) on 21-June-2010 and paid the billed amount of 37,800/-.
                          After the payment, they sent Laptop on 29-June-2010. When i tried to start i was unable to start the system.

                          So in reference to this problem i contacted Dell customer care for replacement (Dell Service Tag No: 43J46BS) on 02-July-2010. And i have returned the Laptop on 16-July-2010.


                          From 16-July-2010, i am waiting for the resolution and i have contacted to them so many times. But every time they try to avoid request. I have done this investment from my whole year saving. Now its really painful that even after paying the billed amount i am not having the Laptop.

                          So i am requesting you to please provide me guidance or help me in this situation.

                          I am eagerly waiting for your positive reply.

                          Dell India is making its customers fool and making money out of poor people.It is height of irresponsibility on the part of company that even after passing of 3 months during the warranty period it is giving false assurance to its customers.I have purchased dell inspiron 15R laptop mod no S560805 dt 17.07.10 in name of swati salarpuria and to my great surprise its DVD went out of order on 18.07.10 and i have registered complaint on 19.07.10 with service tag no JNN76BS & complaint NO 4413778.But even after passing of 20 days company was not able to replace my DVD drive so i have changed my request to WUR but company is only cheating me and giving only false assurances.Meanwhile my business interest suffered grealty due to problem with DVD drive that also for such a long period of 3 months which is not accepable my any standards and also during warranty period. My current complaint no is 5368220,

                          i have purchased a desktop 2 months back, it is sorry to say that within two months Hard disk & CD drive becomes failure. what can i do .

                          Some problems in hardware like function keys, and problems in software like graphics card. Slow process after formet the computer.

                          Laptops warranty update

                          There is issue about my laptops warrenty update.
                          I bought laptop last year in august from authorusied outlet of dell.
                          I get 1 year warranty on it but somehow they did not update my warranty.
                          Now there is some problem wid laptops screen.
                          Its been 12 to 14 days i have submitted laptop but they cant go further cz of warrenty update.
                          Hello I received DOA letter.what to do next.The exchange team nothing informed me.Also it has validity 7 days.

                            I ordered dell laptop on 3 nov 2010. I received the quote saying the delivery date as 11 nov. After few days I received the order confirmation saying the delivery date as 16 nov. When i dint receive the order on 16 nov, i called dell and they said the delivery date is 25 nov. Now my order got cancelled and new order placed by them with delivery date as 9 dec. Please advice me how i can legally approach this. I have paid the amount by credit card and already converted the amount into emi's. There will be loss if i cancel the order.
                            The company authorised dealer has cheated by giving me duplicate windows Xp ....
                            in the original configuration on company website there ios genuine windows vista..the dealer has charged for original windows but not provided that..
                            I AM ALSO FACING THE SAME PROBLEM, NOBODY IS LISTENING TO ME FROM DELL

                                I have purchased Dell Laptop From Laptop world before 2 monts appx. but it was not in working since 10 sep. 2010, I have launched many complaints regarding this to Dell Company Toll Free No. & service tag no is H1PG6BS. but till date company will not taken any action regarding my complaint. Please Give me furthur suggestion what can I do.

                                  I had given my above mentioned Laptop for repair to "Intelenet Infotech" having following address
                                  37/ 42 Ground Floor,Shiv Centre,Near Arenja Corner, Sector 17, Vashi Navi Mumbai
                                  He( Mr Suman R.Prasad ) claims that this is an authorized centre for DELL.
                                  He took Rs 4000 advance for the repair work.
                                  When I went to his shop to collect my Laptop, he refused to give me the Laptop saying that it has been stolen. He refuses to give me Rs 4000 which he took as advance.
                                  Please get me my Advance and also the laptop or an equivalent.

                                  I have complained to DELL about it but they do not want to listen.

                                  I had written you yesterday but I do not know how if you have received it and if you are taking any action.
                                  Please keep me informed.

                                  Dell laptop -inspiron — cheating by the dealer of Dell laptop

                                  dear sir/madam,
                                  I am cheated by a dealer of Dell who took away Rs 4000 on pretext of repairing it. Now he does not give me my laptop back. He is not giving Rs 4000 also which I gave him as advance to carry out repair job.
                                  I wrote to "dell" many a times but there is no response.
                                  Please help.

                                  They have changed my battery while i am giving it for service in dell Authorized dealer itself in chennai.
                                  Every thing is working for only one year,so dont prefer dell laptop ever.

                                  this guy (Amit) is the cheat and fake laptop provider which are registered in USA already and sells in India by smuggling. it dont carry any india warranty even if you call the dell showroom.plzz dont buy it from this shop. they use dell banners for their advertisement. they cheat customer by telling themselves as authorized dell dealer. you wont get any warranty from dell if you buy from him. he even replaces parts if you give them for repair. the dell showroom dont take any responsibily for this.

                                  lets join our hands and protest outside his shop with banners so as to make aware about this anti social elements in our society.

                                  lets see who are involved in this racket. i heard even local dell dealers are involved and police don't take action against such racket.

                                      I bought inspiron 1564 lap of dell. From the first day itself it starts showing problems. First its A/C adapter gone. Also its card reader was also gone and both are replaced. Then my display got small dot in it. Which is also replaced. After replacing the display my lap upper cover bulged out and called the customer care many times and its been about 4 months they still don't resolve this issue.

                                        i purchased dell inspiron laptop on 22/4/2009 ..it had lcd problem and dvd writer problem so they replaced both on 25/1/2010.. since i had a year warranty initially. now the second lcd they have installed has got the same problem and dell is not taking responsibilty for the second lcd what they have installed it worked for 6-7 months and i complained but they want me to buy new lcd again...for Rs.12000..so plz help me out with this,,,my mail is sharan.[protected]@gmail.com and ph no:[protected].
