I recharged 950 rs. For three months on dt. 08.03.18, for offer showing 10% extra cash. But after recharge they didnt gave me a cashback of the same. With fullush reason that i deactivate tan1 channel after recharge but i requested about deactivation before recharged and after that i recharged... Thats not my fault thats company fault and they are whopping me for this that is not fair

    I have requested re-installation of dishtv at my residence on 09.03.2018 through call centre and charges for it was 200/- confirmed by the executive. I also confirmed regarding cable charges as it may required more than existing cable and charges confirmed was 9 rs/meter would be charged extra. No other charges were told to me during call.

    On 10.03.2018 executive mr. Jay singh came and during installation he said receiver is not working, so need to change it. After sometime he said set top box connector is also faulty, so it also needs to change. I told him first change the connector then try, he did so and it worked (Means receiver was alright and he just want to make money). Now it’s time to pay the bill and he said total amount is of 260/-. I asked for breakup then he said 200/- installation charges, 20/- connector and 40/- fastener bolt charges. I said but fastener charges already included in installation charges and extra amount for connector will pay you with service charges. But he said no, fastener is also charged separately in bill, it does not come under installation charges. Then i called to customer care to confirm the same and my call transferred to senior executive deepika and she also confirmed that fastener charges were also included in installation charges so, don’t give fastener charges and total amount is 220/-. He was agreed with the same as customer care connected him in conference call. I said the same to executive after call but again he argued with the same line and said he also called to customer care and charges would be 260/-.

    Now last call done to customer care and now there is different story. He said charges would be 260/- and fastener charges not included in the bill and has to pay. But fastener charges were not charged in previous re-installation and not told to me during call also and your senior executive also confirmed the same as well.

    But now dish tv is charging as they want to charge without giving any knowledge to customers and when customer asked they added inappropriate amount like in this case fastener charges!!

    I want to ask one question here what is meant by installation charges without setting up the dish on wall??? And different executive tells different story, why??

    That was the worst service experience i have ever faced!!!

    Please tell all hidden charges to the customers and stop making fool of customers.

      I have paid full 2 yrs subscription in advance for full sports or all sports pack.
      Every time the cricket series starts, those specific channels covering the matches is not available on my connection.
      It happened recently when, south africa series started, now today the triangular series has started, koi channel is unavailable.
      And against the court order, dd sports channel is also deliberately cut and is vanished from my pack. Where i confirmed that it is available for others on chan no.630.
      This is is happening for last three years now.
      Dish tv must make good the mental torture, that is me and my family is put to.
      Very heavy financial fine like twice the amt i have paid in adv., shld be charged as penalty to dish tv.
      I am sure to take this fight upto final levels,
      Pl help me in this matter.

          I had contacted dishtv for a new connection on 28th february. I had clearly asked the customer care representative to provide me with a package which included all hd and sd channels. She provided me with a package worth 5390, and also mentioned it would include all channels.
          After installation, i found out that i was not subscribed to more than 75% of the sd channels. After this, i spoke to the customer care and they said they would check the recordings and give me a resolution.
          And today, they tell me that there was no fault from their side, and refused to give their client id. The complaint was closed against my will by a representative named jyoti tiwari,

              Complaints and concerns with dish tv

              1. The condition of total subscription amount (20%discount will be lapsed if opted for change of addon pack after recharging for 12months) was not there at first time, it has being newly added. This should have been communicated to customer at time of recharging.

              2. Following hd channels not provided by dishtv

              Ten2hd, ten3hd, living foodhd, epichd. Mtvhd, mnx hd, movies now hd, newsxhd, sony le plexhd, sony roxhd, sonytengolf hd, timesnowhd, vh1hd, star jalshahd

              Only 50hd channels available with dishtv which is less than other service provider which provides 75 hdchannels.

              Also there are sd channels like neo prime, neo sports which are not provided by dishtv and there are many other.

              3. Switching time between channels too long compare to other service provider

              4. Add on pack (Fullon hd) doesnt provide all hd channels. I was promised that i will get all hd channels alongwith newly added hd channels will be added automatically, however same has not being fulfilled.
              Also meaning of fullon hd is getting all available hd channels to customer however it is seen that regional hd, ten1hd, tengolfhd is being removed from full on hd.

              5. Hd channels cannot be viewed even if just drizzling (Even if it is just slight raining)

              6. Change in terms and conditions at anytime.

              This is just fraud and cheating with customer.
              My experience with dishtv is not at all good, hereafter i wont choose dish tv and recommend it.

              This is just an unsatisfactory reason given by Dishtv, My both numbers are reachable.In the latest email they have clearly mentioned that we cant take your request to change the pack,
              Also they said that if I discontinue dishtv services at this point of time they I wont be getting any kind of refund. On the other complaint website it has written that you will be eligible for refund if you wish to discontinue services at anytime,
              Also I like to add one more concern with dishtv is that there first pack which is Bharat pack( Rs 100) consists mostly channels ( almost all)which are provided free of cost by DD free dish dth service provider.And if customer wants to opt with bharat pack then they have take mandatory 1 addon pack or regional addon. Then what is the use of Bharat pack as the cost becomes Atleast 140 for base pack ( CustomThis is share fooling, fraud and cheating with customers.
              I request consumercomplaints board to take appropriate action against Dishtv . Also I suggest other customers not to go with dishtv.They just want to loot money from customers without providing proper service.

                Recharge of Dish TV DTH [protected] - Recharge done on 9th Jan, 2018 and I called DISH TV customer care on 10th Jan, 2018 to inform them about my package selection and they said they have seen and its conformed for next 6 months the Bharat Pack has been activated.

                Now just after 2 months my services are de activated and when I called Dish TV to complaint about it they said it was not what you booked. You did not booked for Bharat Pack, I mean you have recorded line why don't you check - They just denied. When demanded to speak to their Manager (Sumanth - Manager Name) he just denied saying no you have not bought any Bharat Package. He was rude and doesn't even understand the customer problem. I did many calls to Dish TV in last 2-4 days but no help.

                After many attempt I was told that they can not give us what we paid for and he just denied. It's pathetic. I have attached for what I have paid for.

                I regret as why did I buy Dish TV at first place.

                  I was using a pack of rs 448 super family and game on hd pack in which i was getting channel sony ten1 hd but suddenly it stopped and when i contacted customer care they told me that due to increase in input cost they have removed that channel from my pack but my issue is that i have paid for my pack for next
                  12 months and any changes made by company should must be effective after that duration as i am prepaying for that product. This is pure monopoly shown by dish tv company if such issues will not be taken into consideration they might remove many other channels from list. And on dish tv site currently in game on hd pack sony ten hd is there. Plz help. I was thought that due to ind vs sa cricket series this is not coming but after i get this. My vc no :[protected]

                    My name is richard anthony my vc number is [protected]-4 i bought this connection around 1.5 years back and in october i was facing an issue with voice so i got my box changed since then i have beeb facing issue with the box error 401 i was not informed regarding the 3 month warranty of the replaced box today when i spoke to dish tv they told me charge 265rs + 405rs for stb swap its been 4 months i got this box replaced and what i assume the case is that all dish tv dose is give temp working box which work for 3months then stops working this if fraud as per law how ever i have recorded the conversation as a record. This is why dish tv has 26% customer satisfaction.

                      I have been subscriber of dishtv for the last 10 years.in 2017 dec i had paid for 3 months subscription fees to extend till 7th march 2018. My pack consists of base pack plus the hd pack. (Including of sony ten 1 hd).
                      In jan they suddenly deactivated sony ten 1 hd just before the india-sa series.
                      When i complained first time in first week of jan 18, they said they will activate it till my next recharge date without any extra charge i. E. 7th march 2018 but after that i have to pay extra charge when i subscribe again. That was fine with me.
                      But in first week of feb they again deactivated the son ten 1 hd channel, saying i have to pay rs 20 for one month activation of the sony ten 1 hd channel. When i asked them about the jan commitment they had given they said they had just adjusted it against some points which i gathered, now i have to pay rs 20.
                      They asked to pay within a week failing which it will be adjusted against my already paid balance. Reluctantly i paid the rs 20 they had asked but the payment got delayed after 7 days.
                      The activation should have been valid till 7th march. But on 22nd march they deactivated again just before the final t20 match between sa and india, asking me to 30 rs more.
                      When i asked them what for, they said they had credited 50rs and i had negative balance etc. I never asked for any 50 rs credit.
                      Dishtv is doing all illegal and unethical practice o[censored]surping money from their subscribers.
                      I had raised multiple complaint but no avail. Neither are they activating sony ten1 hd channel nor are they refunding the rs 20/-.
                      I have lost trust in this money minded company

                        I m fed up of receiving several irritational calls sometimes thrice or fortimes in a day, from dish tv call centre. I have told them several times not to call me or block my no. But they dont listen.
                        I want these calls to stop immidiately.

                          Dishtv has the worst customer service i have ever come across. They activate top-ups on their own and then extort the customer to recharge their account for continued service. We activated 3 channels for viewing on 24th january and paid for them. They activated the asked channels plus a random pack on 24th. On feb 1, they deactivated the 3 channels as we were "overdue" as we had activated a "mega pack" and not paid for it.

                          On feb 4th, we again paid for the 3 channels. They got deactivated again on 8th of feb. On 10th feb, i again cancelled the said "mega pack" (Which we never activated in the first place) and activated (And paid for) the 3 channels. Again, the channels were deactivated yesterday, 20th feb.

                          When i talked to the customer service today, i was informed i don't have the service as our account balance is again "negative" as we had activated the "mega pack" again. I was informed that i should pay again for the service.

                            I had purchased Dish TV HD+ Recorder box on 10th September, 2017 .Accordingly, I should have got set up box that would enable viewing HD channels. In the initial months, I had not subscribed to any HD channels. But in the month of January, 2018, I got an option to subscribe for 2 channels free for 2 months. I subscribed for channel & Prive HD (Channel No 578 ). But was unable to view the said subscribed HD channel. The error message on screen was "Signal not found". Hence, I called in the Customer Care on [protected]. They sent technician on 4th February, 2018. The technician pointed out that the some device named MONO that enables to view HD channels was not fitted on our dish. He said I will have to follow up with the Customer Care team if I had bought an HD connection. Because the MONO device is something an HD customer should get by default during installation itself. So, after following up a number of times, the Customer Care has given me this reply (over call on 19th February, 2018) that "Dish TV's franchisee who installed my dish connection is no more in operation with them. They cannot figure out why the MONO device was not provided during my installation. If I want to view HD channels now, I will have to pay additional charges for buying and installing the MONO device."

                            This is no fault of mine. They are saying that I should have raised the compliant earlier. But like any normal customer, I assumed that the box is functioning properly. I am no technical person to inspect the set up box for different trial and errors. This is absolute cheating. Customers buy the set-up box trusting the name Dish TV. If they get their installations done through third parties, they should have control checks to see that the work is done efficiently. If they are no more working with the said installing company, they should get in touch with them and resolve my issue. What is the point of me buying an HD connection in the first place, if later on they are again asking me to pay charges for SD to HD transfer.

                            Please provide me with the requisite MONO device so as to enable viewing HD channels.

                              Dish tv has stopped to air baby tv through ordinary set top box and has restricted its service of baby tv through high definition set top box without any intimation though had already paid for baby tv. Here is the question of the payment of hd set top box for which the dish tv is forcing me to pay by the misuse of its position. The company has been harassing me for about last one month by not resolving the issue. I have written to ceo dish tv also vide id 84190 on 10th of february 2018 but to no avail till date.

                                I raised a complaint with dishtv on 15th feb saying that the signal doesn't last for 5 mins after switching on the tv with the service request no.[protected]. When no technician visited even after 24 hrs and followed up, they say that the locality is sensitive and they can't visit and also they can't help. They even sent a message saying the request is closed without the issue being resolved.
                                I find that dishtv doesn't care about the customer and they are least bothered whether about customer satisfaction!

                                  A defective dish tv set top box was replaced on 13/jan/18 with new set-top box. However, the said new set top box stopped working and was replaced with another set top box on 12/feb/18. No visiting charges were taken on 12/feb/18 (Monday) since it was within one month from 13/jan/18.

                                  During the installation of another set-top box installed on 12/feb/18 there was viewing card error 402. Dish technician called the support and solved the issue and went. However, from 14/feb/18, same 402 error problem has started.

                                  I had called dishtv support center on 14th and 15th, i was told that the technician will visit to solve the problem. Also visit charges will not be charged since the new set top box was recently installed on 12/feb/18 (Only 3 days back).

                                  Now the distributor in my location is telling that the visit charges will be applicable.

                                  I would like to state here that it is only 3 days before which the set top box was installed, then why visit charges are imposed. Probably, the box installed is defective.

                                  Our remote was upgraded with new equipment and remote 54.0. Our 2nd remote is 52.0 and original. It is malfunctioning. Requested replacement remote 54.0 so both remotes would be the same. Was told will have to purchase it. 54.0 & 52.0 have different button orientations causing confusion especially when using in dark bedroom. Have been a customer for years with no sign of appreciation on Dishes end. Once you sign on they treat you like garbage and your bill will only go up with decreasing benifits. They prey on the elderly like us. Plan on switching asap! Horrible company!!! I would give them no stars if I could.

                                    I have using dishtv for seven years. Dishtv is now migrating the south indian television channel broadcast from mpeg2 to mpeg4.
                                    First it was
                                    1. Raj digital
                                    2. News 7 tamil

                                    And suddenly,

                                    4. Vasanth tv
                                    5. Nxt / colors tamil

                                    Also moved to mpeg4 compression without any notice.

                                    When tatasky decided to go with mpeg4, they offered the box upgrade for free to all their customers who are using mpeg2 boxes.

                                    But dishtv is expecting customers to pay 799+tax ~ rs.1000.

                                    Consider giving mpeg4 boxes for free, if you are so sure that the transmissions hereafter will be in mpeg4.

                                    Do not expect us to pay for your mistakes.

                                        Dish tv has been acting unprofessionally a lot off lately and since there in no transparent and effective process in place to take care of customer complaints, i finally decided to put this issue in forum. I am sure there would be lots of similar cases.

                                        After so called removal of ten channels from the base packages in between the subscription duration, dish tv asked to pay rs. 10 per month for availing the channel again -
                                        1. Technically you pay twice for a channel for same duration just because ten and dish had some business issue, customer bear the burden). I believe this is a violation of a basic agreement when a customer has paid full for some service and in return he gets only 80% of what he ordered.
                                        I called up on customer care thrice but executives nare not knowledgeable enough to respond properly and they just come up with a robotic pre memorised statement. If you tell then to connect with their supervisor, they will make you wait for 10 mins and then say that supervisor is busy. Issue didn't get resolved.

                                        2. I waited and followed up for 3 days and later had to end up paying the amount to view ten 1 again since dish tv has a poorest of the poor customer service. Now hoping that since i paid again channel will run smooth for next 1 month. To my surprise channel again got switched off after a week giving an error message that i need to subscribe this channel. I availed the channel on 12 jan and since then channel has switched off thrice for at least 3 days. So effectively our of 24 days upto today, channel was switched off for 8-9 days. To add up to this, i had to call customer care each time and each call at least takes a minimum of 12-14 mins to get over (Amount spent 10 rs. Per call).

                                        Effectively i had to spend 30-35 rs. For a channel that cost 10 rs. Per month and still didn't get full service. Ridiculous on dish tvs behalf to do absolutely nothing about it.

                                        I would be eager to know how dish tv plan to compensate for the money, time and energy that had to be wasted for a nonsensical issue that should not have happe at first place since this issue is between dish tv and ten and customer should not suffer.

                                        Quite a bad branding for dish tvs product and services.
