I am highly unsatisfied with the services of dish tv subscription service and i demand the following -

1) since jan-18 first week, we are not able to record any program on our set top box (Vc number [protected]) because of which we are facing inconvenience and not been able to avail the full subscribed service.

2) as per subscription invoice for dec-17, my pack is "hd world" with monthly subscription charge of inr 512 per month. I don't find a standard pack with the name of "hd world". I have requested dishtv to email me the list of all channels under my subscription plan (Hd world) and breakup of cost (In case of they charge for any add-on service) but didn't hear from them since jan second week despite of assurance to provide the same by their telecom executive on phone. Thus, i can say i am not able to find any such clarity / transparency from dish tv in this regard. Please provide the same by return email.

3) in addition, we find that despite of subscribing hd pack (Hd world), a lot of hd channels are blocked again and again by dish tv and repetitive reactivation request (As advised by your executive on phone) is annoying and not possible. I demand that all the channels under my subscription plan must remain activated for all the time during the active subscription period. Please confirm by return email that this shall be ensured with immediate effect.

4) also email me full channels lists under various hd subscriptions packs so that i can chose a more cost effective pack.

    I have the package of rs 171 per month, on dt-6.2.2018 i asked customer care about it, he told me to recharge for rs 462 for three months with gst. After it i rechared for rs 462 on dt-7.2.2018. According to it the next due date should be dt-1.5.2018 but now it is showing dt-12.4.2018 as its due date. Today on dt-9.2.2018 i talk with customer care about this problem for 15 minutes but she can't solved it up to now, so kindly solve it as soon as.

      Dish tv has mentally harassed me by calling me all the time. They have called me so many time and i am completely frustrated with them. I have told them many times not to call me still they call me and still call me. They call me at everywhere and disturb me when i am at work or sleeping or doing anything. They keep pressuring me to recharge. I have no mental peace because of them.

      I've been getting non stop calls from dishTv on my vc connected number. Though I've activated DND on my phone number but still. There in no solution by blocking these numbers as there are different mobile nos. I don't receive such marketing calls from other companies except from dish tv.

      Please look into this as soon as possible.

        In setmax channel, it's broadcasting that Sony ten should be available and if removed, please demand from your operator. When I contacted, they are saying it's only available with subscription charges. There is something wrong behind the screen and the issue should be resolved. thanks

          Dear dishtv,

          I am currently using world pack on my dth for a long time. My vc number [protected]. I am able to watch sony ten services till last few weeks but it has been disabled and the pop asks to pay extra.

          My question is why? Especially when i have already paid the amount in advance. You are saying your cost has increased, but that incremental cost should feature in my next recharge and not in current pack.

          This way of business will definitely affect the customer loyalty and trai should make some rules to regulate such practices.

          I will definitely like to switch to other dth because this you have done with other channels too in past. All of a sudden you make changes in customer plan.

          As per our conversation with Mr. Ishan Dutt on [protected], it has been informed that the broadcaster was charging huge increase in rates of the Sony Ten channels despite the channels not having so much value on it. We would have had no option but to pass on the same to the subscribers. They are charging extremely low rates from cable operators but were demanding a huge fee for DTH subscribers. To protect the interest of the subscribers, we did not agree to the demand of the broadcaster. Furthermore, to ensure the availability of the channel and also to give choice to the subscribers, the channels are available on addon basis to the subscribers.

          Details of Sony Ten(Sony Ten 1, Sony Ten 2 and Sony Ten 3) Addon are below mentioned:-
          Sony Ten 1 worth Rs. 8/- + 18% GST = Rs. 10/- Per Month
          Sony Ten 2 worth Rs. 8/- + 18% GST = Rs. 10/- Per Month
          Sony Ten 3 worth Rs. 8/- + 18% GST = Rs. 10/- Per Month

          Kindly note that a lock-in period of 30 active days is applicable on the all mentioned Add-On pack(s) i.e. it cannot be deactivated before the completion of the lock-in period. Moreover, you are not happy with the removal of Sony Ten channels and shared the same with our concern team. Furthermore, we have informed you that being our valued customers, we are activating Sony TEN 1 channel at no extra cost till 25th Feb’18. Post that, it will be charged at Rs.10/ month including GST. Also, informed you that if you do not want to continue the Sony Ten 1 channel after 25th Feb 2018 then will submit the advance request for Sony Ten 1 channel which we will activate free till 25th Feb 2018 but you refused for the same.

            Dish tv offering rs. 25/- they will give us
            All sports hd pack for 30 days.
            But when we do recharge after 2 days they deactivate the pack and again say us to recharge for rs. 99 to again continue the pack.
            That means they are cheating and doing fraud openly.
            When we contact them they are disconnecting the phone for 3 times.

              I have faced issues with dish tv while taking the connection itself, but recent issue i am highlighting and have consulted a lawyer also to file this in court.

              I have recharged my tv with 169+taxes plan for 3 months altogether,
              They told 7 hd channels free with this, i have recharged in december 2017, validity up to 25 feb 2018.

              In between from 31st december 7 hd channels stopped, and when i called customer care they said you have to recharge another plan, now

              How could they change there benefits after accepting price,
              It's like i ordered a car with some price and in between they took out engine and said now pay more.

              Really dish tv is worst company i have ever seen and i will take them to court where they will pay 20 times what i have lost.

              you are just running a froud company, and by anychance government mandats 1 set up box for all companies, then you can't fool some one for more than 1 month..

              but anyway quality of Pics are good(which is surprise)

              Bcoz you have this kind of consumer policy just to eat there money

                I was told that i will get coupons worth 2000 when i install the dish tv connection. I got the connection on 4th feb. Now when i asked customer care about coupon. They told me senior will call. After 1 hour i received call from some gaurav who claimed he is distributor incharge of d8sh tv and told me i will not get coupon. He also told me that this is way of dish tv to get new subsciber and challenged me to do what ever i can. This is pure cheating

                  I can't view live cricket on dd sports in dishtv. But i can view live cricket on dd sports in tata sky. When i view dd sports it says "dear subscriber as per the court order dd sports channel will not be available during the matches of the ongoing india - south africa cricket series

                    I had subscribed to sony ten (Channel 615) with charges rs. 2/- per day. But automatically dish tv has stopped this service for no reason.

                      From last 6 moths dish tv is silently removing some channels, they have disappeared from my channel list. Even some of free dd network channels also been removed. When i called dish tv customer care they suggested me to replace the setup box which i bought only two years back. It seems my set top box is obsolete now. I think this is cheating customer, why do they need hd set top box for sd channels like dd chandana.

                        I have a subscription of world sports pack valid till 08.03.18. The company stopped telecasting sony ten channels suddenly from last few days which is unethical. I paid for the subscription 6 months in advance. It does not make any sense to change the pack whenever you want to. Plz continue the subscription as original pack and i would also request for the refund in the form of credit for the time since when it was stopped telecasting on my vc.

                        Received a call from Dishtv customer care to understand the issue properly. Afterwards a regular follow up was conducted on email along with a chain of email conversation. Since I recharged my account as long term (6 months) in advance, the company created MAP/kity bank with points so as to resume the telecast of Sony Ten channels as a part of Base pack till the switch off date. Fully satisfied with the resolution of the issue. Thanks Dishtv & Consumer Complaints Forum!

                        I am already in touch with Dishtv Ccare. The subscription has been restored using my kity points which does not make any sense. There is a message on television suggesting all the customers to ask the operator to add back Sony Ten channels. I really don't understand why there has been such unethical behaviour by the company. Kindly check and resolve the issue asap.

                          Sony ten1 hd channel have been removed from my fullon hd pack which is bad. Now i have to pay extra rs. 100 to view this channel. The addon pack of rs. 100 has all the channels that i already subscribed for except sony ten1 hd. So i need to pay 100 bucks for a single channel. What do want dishtv to trouble your customers by charging so high for a single channel. You have the right to change but what is this monopoly or what. This is bad to charge so much to your customers

                              I have submitted complaint vide dish tv customer care ticket no[protected] but so far no action has been taken.
                              I have renewed my dish tv subscription in last week of nov'17 for a period of one year. At that time, it was informed that ten sports channel will be charged wef 1st of dec'1 and presuming that ten sports channel cost was also included in the subscription.
                              But now the channel was removed because i need to pay again.

                              Whereas sony channel issuing a statement to the effect that "customers should demand from the dish tv" operator to include the ten sports channel in the subscription.

                              As per our conversation on [protected], informed you that due to increase in the input cost, Sony Ten channels are not available in Base packs and can only be offered on add-on basis since 1st Dec. 2017. However, as our old and valued Subscriber, they can get Sony Ten channels at Rs. 10/- or 20/- (SD / HD) from 1st Dec. 2017. Moreover, a Scroll has already been given to Sony Ten channels from 25th Nov. 2017 regarding removal of Sony Ten channels from base packs.
                              Moreover, Sony, Ten 1 Free activated till 25th Feb. 2018 and waiver of Rs. 90/- given to provide Sony Ten 1 on Free basis until next renewal date.

                              The complaint has not been resolved yet. Dish TV has increased the monthly subscription i.e. from Rs.590/- + Rs.25 Malayalam HD channel to Rs.600+Rs. 25 from Mar'18. . They had given Rs.90/- as discount and started recovering Rs.10/- per month as such I have been given a loan of Rs.90/-. Now they are charging Rs.600+10 (for the discount) whereas it should have been Rs.590+10), . When questioned the call center agent initially confronted but later informed that the matter has been processed with higher ups. So far no information has been received from higher ups;
                              What about the customer care ticket no[protected ? why no one has called so far?

                              Inspire of your assurance dish tv is charging every month Rs10/- March, April May. Giving false assurances is not good for the big companies like yours as wells it tentamounts to cheating the customers. Due to your mistakes repeatedly I would request you to provide all ten 1;2;3 channels for free till my rext renewal date I.e Nov’18

                                Sir, today I have recharged my dish Vc number [protected] with the amount of 2268 with 6 months free benefits as per directions of Dishtv customer care. When I recharged my Dishtv account and inserted my viewing card in setup box and it shows error 201 when I seen subsequently I called to customer for solution and they advised me to go Dishtv dealar nearer to he could pair the box and card, after receiving advise I rushed to spot and I disclosed the problem before them but they refused and told we couldn’t pair it you buy new one setup box. And then I requested to refund my in account to which they failed to reply me and ignored my requests/complaints. Dish customer care has deceived me your are requested to take necessary against the defaulters

                                  I am currently using all sports pack on my dth with hd services on my vc number [protected]. I was able to watch sony ten services till last few weeks but it has been disabled and the pop asks to pay extra.

                                  My question is why? Especially when i have already paid the amount in advance. You are saying your cost has increased, but that incremental cost should feature in my next recharge and not in current pack.

                                  This way of business will definitely affect the customer loyalty and trai should make some rules to regulate such practices.

                                    I have all sports pack and according to this plan i had all the sports channel (Non-hd) before this month and as the ind-vs-sa series started, dish tv removed this from my subscription without any notice and also as channels are reduced there is no cutoff in the pack rate. And moreover they are demanding extra amount for that channel. Why should i pay extra for the channels i had? Why there is no compensation for the removed channels? And main thing why only these channels are removed? It is visible to all that this is just a stupid plan of yours just to make money from common people. This is cheating on common people. You know that people are crazy for cricket and therefore they will pay extra for the next three months for sa series. And tell me one thing what the heck is tha meaning of all sports pack if you are not giving tens channels. I don't know anything i want compensation and my channels back.

                                      I am vikash khanna-my vc no for dish tv is-[protected]. I have taken all sports pack with monthly charge of rs 378 inc of taxes. Earlier sony ten was airing in same package but now since india vs south africa match has started in sony ten they has stop airing the channel. When i contacted customer care they are arguing that for this specfic channel you will have to pay extra money. When i argued that then why you are charging consumer for all sports pack. They dont have any answer.
