DTDC Courier & Cargo Complaints & Reviews

I booked DTDC Courier to send 2 packets on 13/04/2015. 1 packet was for Kolkata and another 1 was for Bankura. For Kolkata the PINCODE is 700092 and for Bankura the PINCODE is 722101. I was told by the DTDC Manpada, Thane office that for Kolkata( PIN 700092 ) DTDC PLUS service is available and the courier will be delivered the immediate next day i.e on 14/04/2015. And for BANKURA( PIN 722101 ) it will take 2/3 days for Delivery as PLUS service is not available and they have to move it using LITE EXPRESS Service. So accordingly I paid Rs 950 for the PLUS service to Kolkata with Consignment # V21879250 and Rs 720 for the LITE express service to BANKURA( Consignment # M[protected]. A total of Rs 1670. In the evening when i called up the helpline number 33004444 they told me that Consignment # V21879250 has not been booked under DTDC PLUS but it was booked under NATIONAL BLUE( when i paid for METRO PLUS ) and it was addressed to BANKURA which should have come under Consignment M15409851. Whereas the other Consignment( # M[protected] was addressed to KOLKATA which should have been BANKURA. I am attaching proofs of Invoices. THE GOODS TO BE DELIVERED WAS FOOD ITEMS WHICH HAVE PERISHED FOR THIS DELAY AND MISPLACEMENT. I have been cheated by the DTDC MANPADA, Thane office and I WANT A STRICT ACTION ASAP. Details below. This complaint is regarding me consignment M17969344. The status of the consignment is showing delivered. However I have yet not received my parcel. I have been misguided by one of your employee at sarojini nagar having no. [protected]. 1. He told he has wrongly updated the status delivered on the portal. 2. He said the parcel is with INA franchises. AS a proof i have every call recorded. Please look into the matter else I will go to the higher authority for it.

Dear Concern, I have a complaint of courier with doc. no. H42606725. It was couriered from hyderabad and it get delivered in gurgaon dtdc office on 4/04/2014. The courier have to deliver under the below mentioned address: Max Pest Control Services, 1st Floor, Near Ram Mandir South City 1, Near Signature Tower, Sec-30, Gurgaon [protected] But when the start checking my courier with your respective offices at sec- 30 & sec-31 they start behaving like anything. Request you to get it check and delivered it as soon as possible else i would lodge a case against it.

When I received Courier, then I see that already courier already Open by Someone. Who is responsible about my missing goods. This is One of the worst way of DTDC People

I WANT MY PARCEL TO BE DELIVERED ON OR BEFORE 11:00AM by Tuesday, 14 April, 2015. I have to receive a parcel whose AWB/Cons. No.: Z51721499; was already reached at Gorakhpur, UP on Friday, 10 April, 2015 and local officials at your Gorakhpur Branch;(Add: V.B. Complex Near Khove Mandi, Purdilpur) still they have no time to deliver my package. I was trying their contact number available on web i.e. [protected] from saturday morning but i am very sorry to say that every time the call was diverted. Any how i got an opportuinity to talk in today morning and it was commited that i'll will recive my package by evening but i am sorry to say that i haven't recieve my parcel and not even a single call from DTDC. I have checked the DTDC website also there is a fake information available on it "ATTEMPTED". What attempted??? I haven't get a single call from DTDC for any type concern.

Dear Sir, I have a very bad experience of sending my courier using your service. On friday 10th april 2015, I have booked two courier parcel(tracking no.V22050969 and V[protected], one for Allahabaad(UP) and one for Varanasi(UP) ...by availing DTDC plus service, which means that my parcel should be reaching the receiver on next day 11th april 2015. But today when I checked it on DTDC website in the afternoon...both the courier tracking nos. were showing IN TRANSIT.Also I have cross checked with the receiver .It hasn't been delivered to them. I sent 2 parcels (weighing around 30 Kgs) through Bijnor office to be delivered to Mumbai on 6th April, 15. First of all when I asked their representative what is the minimum weight for which they can book a cargo then they replied me that it is 30 Kg. So, somehow I managed to brought those parcels at their office. When I reached there they said they have no idea regarding weight and they need to ask their boss from Meerut regarding the same. Then they called him and he replied that 30 Kg is minimum wt. for Inter-UP. For Mumbai we need a minimum weght of 50 Kg. Then those guys charged me for 50 Kg although on phone they confirmed me 30 Kg. When I asked for receipt then they said that they will give it tomorrow as it will be booked from Meerut. Next day when I visited their office for receipt they said by mistake Meerut office has booked the shipment for 30 Kg only. Then I asked them that why you have charged me for 50Kg. Then they said that they have to bear the loss of 20kg from their pocket and then issued me the receipt of 50 kg only + Service Tax. Even after 7 days of shipping when it didn't reach the destination then I checked the status on website. I came to know that this shipment was returned back from Ghaziabad on 11th April and arrived back to Bijnor. Now when I called the Bijnor office they confirmed that yes sir it returned and we have again sent it to Ghaziabad. When I asked them the reason they said they don't know. Then I asked them that why didn't they informed me on 11th so that I could have collected it back then also they didn't answer. They were not even knowing that it came back from Ghaziabad itself and they have again dispatched it so as to earn the money and cheat us. Now after seeing the current status my party is not ready to take that shipment and I have suffered a loss of Rs. 13000 due to the same + Courier Charges + Freight. These DTDC people have again dispatched my shipment and are not aware of the current location. I feel cheated. I want my parcel back + courier charges + damage. Regards Pulkit Gupta [protected]

we had sent a packet, but its not deliverd showing address is not found though the address is correct and others are able to reach eaisly .i called to the dtdc center they did not responded properly, mis ritu received the call and very rudely she speak . dtdc center number-[protected], chattisgarh consignment no-B20151003

Respected sir/madam Im an aggrieved customer begging for the kind help from your forum. In Nov 2014 i sent a packed led tv 40 inch from Thoppampady, Kochi, Kerela to Namchi South Sikkim through dtdc courier services with an insurance coverage of Rs25000.for the item. Due to some problems with the dtdc item was not able to delivered at the destination and it was recieved by my friend in Siliguri West Bengal in a total damage condition. He complaint it to branch officer and BO told to recieve the item and lodge complain to concerned office and Regional Office from where it was booked. I lodged written complaint and handed over all origional documents including shippment papers etc. But unfortunately with wholeheartly i would like to inform you that i have not recieved any letter or call... Money i can't thought about. Sir its a great financial loss for me due to the carelessness of dtdc. I had sent a small courier yesterday i.e. 10 April 2015, i clearly was confirmed that it will be delivered the very next day i.e. on 11th Apr 2015 after lunch before 5pm. But now when i enquired i am being told that the flight got delayed so we cant help in this and your parcel will be delivered on monday. I was confirmed twice that it will be delivered tomorrow for sure, for which they charged me premium amount . Also on checking on net there is no status. I feel i have been cheated by your company and in future would never use DTDC Plus or DTDC services.

I am really upset about your delivery system. i have received a courier from CHILDL LINE INDIA foundation mumbai on dated 12.04.15, I found this documents in open envelop and and documents are in very worst condition .it was official / sensitive documents delivered in Bilaspur Chhattisgarh .some letters and documents are missing. Please take necessary action against the service provider.

I sent a courier through DTDC from Pune to Bangalore on 30th April 2015. It has still not reached. When I tried, I found with the consignment number given, it says could not be found. DTDC call center person said that I should contact the place where I sent. That person picked up phone and said that many parcels are stuck due to some problem & asked me t send consignment number. I sent but still no response and now the person is not picking up phone also. I regret that I used the courier for Rs 80/-, since I wanted to send urgently. I could sent through normal Postal service which is very reliable. Contact number of DTDC person whom I gave is Mrs Shinde [protected]. This is in Pune, Bibewadi area.

I had sent a couple of time-sensitive documents from Bangalore to Trivandrum via DTDC on 8th April 2015 (Consignment No. V[protected]. The courier office person in Malleshpalya, Bangalore took Rs. 225 for the package (Secure Courier Rs.50 + Express Delivery Rs. 175). He said the package would be delivered on the morning of 10th April 2015. As of now (10th April 2015, 12.30 pm), the package has not been received at the delivery address. On enquiry, it was found that the package was sent to a different DTDC office in Trivandrum rather than the one closest to the delivery address! As of this moment, the package is not yet delivered and the courier person is supposedly bringing it from the wrong office. It is sad to see a courier company of such reputation as DTDC handle a secure package with utter negligence and abysmal timekeeping. Please take necessary action against this irresponsible action on the part of DTDC.

hi, my cheque (R[protected] is not received yet...but it shows that it was delivered i repetitively write for the same thing to customer care executive...but they not properly reply every time when i drop a email...your customer care executive call me and asking the same repetitive questions...they even not knowing my query/problem...after such long time... today the first male executive can not able to answer my query...he simply hand over to lady who started conversation with "what is your problem/query?" what the hell is going on over there?...if...

Dear sir, i was courier one small parcel through dtdc SF032 branch on dated[protected] from delhi to alwar but today when i see online status of this then it shows at merruth when i was trying to talk with costumer care on these no's[protected], 14, 15, 16 they even dont pick phone when receive call after 20 minutes they told me that we register your complaint and talk to you very soon. i am very disappointed and i have never thought this kind of casual services from dtdc, so please look into matter and resolve it as soon as possible. I had sent a courier through your company on 9th March 2015. POD No. - P31490461 from Pune to Noida. The courier did not get delivered at the destination and yet in the tracking it showed as delivered. After about a month's follow-up we were informed that the courier did not actually get delivered, but wrong update was given by the delivery boy. This was an important courier which was to go to our client and has cost loss of goodwill.
