I am holding my salary savings account since 01/07/2017 in HDFC Bank Andheri Branch - Mumbai. Subsequently was offered credit card on 01/07/2017. Against this card, I made purchases of rs. 3000. On 15/09/2018 I cleared all the dues/outstanding and submitted the card closure form in Panvel and Mahape Branch by physically visiting the branch. We also had received the acknowledgement of card closure, and the card is displayed as In-Active in my account.
The first time we had to visit 2 branches just to close one single credit card. Now the bank should have de-linked my savings account from my credit card account.
But again the bank has linked another credit card which we were neither applied nor delivered to us (as seen from the system of HDFC Bank, some other credit card which we have never received copy enclosed). When contacted with customer care of the credit card department, I was told that these are my financial charge (1100 rs), even if no transaction has taken place and no credit card has been delivered to me. This was the 3rd time I personally visited the Brank.
When I applied for a housing loan in one of the nationalized banks, they issue sanction letter, but when they verified my CIBIL score, it is severely getting affecting due to these FRAUDULENT credit card and financial charges of 1100rs which HDFC is levying on me every now and then. (No fault of me)
Even after clearing dues against second FRAUDULENT card on 15th Dec'2018, and submitting the card closure form in 3 branches viz Mahape Branch, Vidyavihar Branch and speed post to Chennai Branch (Copy enclosed). I had to visit again at 3 branches to close the fraudulent card. But still, on 04/01/2019, I can see the charge against my credit card of 3rs and the card is still active affecting the CIBIL score.
Because of your careless and lethargic attitude and deliberate attempt to mental torcher, I have got no other option but to go to the court because nobody is guiding us properly.
WHEN HDFC BANK HAVE TO SELL THEIR CREDIT CARDS ANYWHERE, THERE WILL BE YOUR EXECUTIVE OR PERSONAL BANKER TO HELP. BECAUSE IT IS IN YOUR INTEREST. BUT WHEN WE HAVE TO CLOSE THE SAME, THEN EVERYTHING IS ONLINE/CONTACTING CUSTOMER CARE WHICH NEVER CO-OPERATES (BECAUSE YOU HAVE MADE YOUR SYSTEM LIKE THAT, SO THAT YOU CAN PROTECT YOUR OWN INTEREST AND YOU ARE NOT BOTHERED ABOUT PEOPLE'S HARD EARNED MONEY. BECAUSE OF YOUR IRRESPONSIBLE ACTS, MY CIBIL ACTION IS GETTING IMPACTED/DETERIORATING INSTEAD OF IMPROVING.
YOU ARE REQUESTED TO CLEAR THE MATTER AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE AND WRITE OF LETTER OF APOLOGY SO THAT MY HOUSING LOAN CAN BE FURTHER PROCESSED.
REQUEST YOU TO KINDLY LOOK INTO THE MATTER PERSONALLY AND CLOSE, DE-ACTIVATE, DE-LINK ALL THE CREDIT CARD WHICH ARE LINKED TO MY SALARY AND SAVINGS ACCOUNT.
