I booked Sony Xperia mobile phone on HomeShop18 on 20th July 2013. Made the payment through credit card and the order was accepted.
On 25th July 2013, since I did not receive the delivery of the product, I called them to inquire about the status. They informed that it has not been delivered and shall make arrangement to dispatch the same.
On 26th July 2013 I received a SMS and an Email that the order is cancelled due to no stock. Immediately I checked on their site and it was still showing IN STOCK but with a different higher rate. I called their customer care and the lady informed me that the colour I had ordered by me was out of stock (unaware of the fact that I had already seen the availability of stock on their site). So I informed her that any colour was acceptable to me. I even mailed this to them in writing by another mail. In the mean time I received a mail from Mr. Mack Donald (from HOME SHOP 18) informing that I had cancelled the order and they were processing the refund. I replied him that it was their message that informed me that they were out of stock and therefore cancelling my order and processing refund. Soon I received a mail from them informing that I have forgotten to place order for the one I was checking on 26 July 2013 indication that they have stock in the given colour.
Even today i.e 28th July 2013 at 15.43 hrs their site is showing stock available in the colour I had asked for and can be delivered to my pin code.

This indicates nothing that the company does not want to deliver the order due to increase in the rate.

I would request you to kindly take adequate legal action against the vendor HomeShop18 so that they stop such practice henceforth. Also inform me the action taken. I am interested in claiming damages from them.

Homeshop18 — non-delivery of order

I BOOKED OVEN 17 LT. WITH HOME SHOP 18 ON 9TH JUNE AND MADE PAYMENT ON 17.610 THE CO. ASSURED BY EMAIL THAT THE MATERIAL WILL BE DELIVERED WITH IN 8 DAYS OF PAYMENT BUT IT IS STILL NOT DELIVERED WHEN I CALL ON TOLL FREE CUSTOMERE CARE [protected] THEY MISGUIDE MANY WAYS . THIS IS A BIG FRUAD IN INDIA GOVT. MUST DO SOMETHING TO PROTECT THE CUSTOMER UNDER LAW. H S 18 — Non delivery of order

I have placed an Order no.[protected] for Samsung mobile on 25.07.2010. I have made the advance payment of the cost Rs.4999/- through mcheck (one of the modes of payment mentioned). I was assured that the delivery of the product will be made within 8-10 days. However even after a lapse of one month I have nor received the item till now. I have lodged a complaint no.60113567 with HS 18 ON 6.08.2010 but there is no follow up from their side. Almost daily I am taking up with them on their Toll free no.[protected], but every time I am told to wait for another 24-36-72 hours. I have already conveyed to them that either they should deliver the item or refund my payment, but they are dragging on the matter on some pretext or other. Kindly take note of it and help me in getting my complaint redressed.

Please get this addressed imnmediately to HS 18, we had some problems with HS18 and wrote big complaint and asked them to return the money if product not delivered. They immediately took action and problem was resolved in span of 10-15 days. Be affirmative when you are addressing your grivenace to them. I am sure you will soon get your handset... All the best..
HS-18 service is very bad now a days. I have decided and also advised my friends and relatives to avoid shopping on line from HS-18.
Did the courier agency miss your order? dude you should call them and check. It happened with me too once. When I went to the courier office I found my delivery lying there.

I bought "Little India Rajasthani Real Brass Sword Armour Wall Clock -107" suborder code: 48590915 on 1st October 2012. Product was packed in just a soft cardboard box and as expected the clock's front glass was broken when it was delivered. After reaching support, I was guided to send the product back to supplier and send the courier receipt to homeshop18. I complied and it's been around an year, two service requests[protected] and 75110351 and I'm still waiting for the refund for the product. They have returned the courier charges but not product money.

1) As soon as you open the support tickets, someone will ask for some information (which I already have provided) and will close the ticket. And there is no way you can reopen or REPLY to the tickets. All you do is create another one, and you are back to square one.

2) I wrote a review of the product on homeshop18 which they have conveniently removed. All you can see are good reviews, authenticity of which is highly questionable.

As mentioned above, I doubt homeshop18's intentions in doing fair business.

    Dear Sir,
    I have received the Intex cottage Tent for indoor outdoor fun for kids vide order No[protected] on Saturday 20th Jul’13. But in that packet 15 Sticks and Poly cover is only available, but the clamps(Jointer which should joint the sticks to create tent) are not available. For that clamps i am not able to use the product. Provide me the solution and also sent me the product again.

    I have already raised complaint vide ticket no 84235315, but still ticket is open.
    Already 7 days crossed. No response from Homeshop18 Team.

        Ordered Philips 100w salondry compact (order no. –[protected] by paying 725 (225 netbanking + 500 Non cart GC). After 3 days homeshop gay informed the ordered product is out of stock & order is cancelled. I got refund only 225 & still struggling to get new noncart GC worth 500 rupee.

        I had launched 3 ticket which got closed without any solution. Called more than 10 time no response is received. Complain (complain id –[protected] logged on 5th july is still pending no one is there to take care.


        I really wonder with this worst management how Homeshop18 is running.

          I had purchase AIR COOLER KAIZEN JR. under the live tv advertisement which found to be not the similiar one as per our choice and the air cooler and the trolley aside with it is not fitted and similiar to be the same of the air cooler. So,i request you to please refund it under the refund policy,as it was complaint 1 week back earlier on a telephonic conversation. Therefore,it was found that no action has been taken yet.With on season,I had purchase online through phone. which found to be none of our use till yet and found to be the other order. The details are enclose with this mail. kindly see over it,nor i had to talk to consumer for it.             Seeing a TV add of home shop 18 i place an order for the product which where casseroles.The offer was buy 6 and get 6 free.On delivery i got only six.i called the customer care and the person answered the lid is free.i laughed and called again the person said the spoon was free.I ask them to decide and tell me what is it but got no reply.I Also got the colour wrong and was also promised rs 200 worth coupon which was not given.I managed to gt the number of head office and called there.i spoke to miss bhavana told her the story .....she said mam there is some miss understanding as the shops are free only .i said well if i understood so wrong the i need a check up of mine to be done and requested her the change the colour,she promised me a reverse courier.i settled at that.after two days i receive a call and a person named anumit said for that was also not possible.I told him that i will then log a complain in the consumer court.he said not an issue as the court could do nothing.............its true as till date i am the sufferer .PLS HE:LP.

              Don't trust on promise of replacement within 7 days by HS 18. My Order no. is[protected] and I Ordered 3-clou Men's XL T-Shirts set. When I checked this on same day of delivery, siza was unfit to me. I just called to customer care of HS 18. They did'nt collect these wrong size set by reverse pickup. After 12 days they informed me that I have to send this myself. Regretfully, After one month when I got this set again, size of T-Shirt was same of former size (XL). They spent one month in replacement of product after cash on delivery.

                  Homeshop18 — NOt delivered 22000 product not refunded money

                  HOmeshop18 on their website www.homeshop18.com promised to give 22000/- Sony mobile at the cost of 8000/-.I paid money online & even after 3 months they didnot deliver the product nor refunded the money despite my proper follow up.

                  Some time money will not be refund by company because it have some rules and regulation but you can choose other product with same cost to there site and also this type of balance have some validity. So i think you can try once more time to helpline and concern with them.

                    I Sandeep Raheria places an ordered no[protected] Zync Android Calling Tablet with Bluetooth & Dual Camera on 10th June 2013,but o 14 June to got wrong product , i called asked Homeshop 18 and complained no:83132841 for replacement same got collected by aramex courier on the very next day, now after follow up i got the same wrong product again on 26th June .. when called HS18 they are just asking for more time but not collecting wrong product nor replacing it with correct one... i haven't received any confirmation till 28th June 2013

                      I have purchased this item using my Ingvysya Netbanking, INR 1649 had been deducted after completing the order.

                      But unfortunately i submitted my Pincode wrong in shipping address. When i called to Homeshop18 customer care ([protected]) One executive named "Shelly" received my call i explained my problem that i want to change my shipping address what i need to do?
                      First she asked everything about my product, order number, My Name, and shipping address. I explained each thing in detail.
                      Afterwards she replied me it is not possible to change your address, i was surprised to hear these lines. Then i asked what is the possible solution to get my product "Huawei E3121 3G Data Card" She replied i can't help you out for this. I request her to talk her manager but she just disconnected my phone.

                      Now I am feeling cheated by Homeshopshop 18. There is no way to get back my money or product. It seems i lost my 1649 INR.

                      I suggest you to all never go for shopping at Homeshop18, These people have no sense of talking and there is no customer satisfaction.

                          Never trust on HomeShop18 guys & buy anything by paying in advance.

                          You all could see how much effort I made to recover my 500 access paid amount. After tons of effort I received a GC which is not working on any of the product.

                          I had lunch the complain regarding same (Complain Id[protected] & calling everyday for follow-up but yet did not receive any response. I believe they are not willing to give my money back.

                          Ordered Philips 100w salondry compact (order no. –[protected] by paying 725 (225 netbanking + 500 Non cart GC). After 3 days homeshop gay informed the ordered product is out of stock & order is cancelled. I got refund only 225 & still struggling to get new noncart GC worth 500 rupee.

                          I had launched 3 ticket which got closed without any solution. Called more than 10 time no response is received. Complain (complain id –[protected] logged on 5th july is still pending no one is there to take care.


                          I really wonder with this worst management how Homeshop18 is running.

                              Instead of sending me the original Fidato company product seller shipped me Cheap Women Plastic glass,cheap belt worth rs 20.
                              I mailed the hs18,but they say check our Return and Replace policy(48 hrs), i was outside and when i returned and open products i was shocked.
                              So i advice to always do Cash on Delivery and not to shop from HomeShop18

                                I had placed an order for Lloyd 4in1 cooler. Upon receiving it i was not satisfied with the product as it did not look the product shown on TV and also the air throw and cooling (in a 80 sft room) was very weak for a Rs.6999 cooler. I called Homeshop 18 customer service immediately on the same day, 17 May 2013 to request for a return/refund and was told that someone wil call me in 48 Hrs to schedule a pick up of the cooler. I didnt get a call for 3 days and called again and this time the person mentioned that the concerned department will call me in 48 Hrs. This time I got a call but the person I spoke to also asked couple of questions and said someone will call to schedule pick up of the cooler. I did not get a call from anyone and when i called back again today on 24 May 2013 the customer service and the person kept on insisting that someone called me and i didnt pick up the call. I have not missed a single call in last 4 days (even if i did why not call me one time again atleast). He also said that i cannot get a refund and when i asked him the reason he told me 'dont worry' concerned department will call me in 48 Hrs. I request someone to look into this and arrange for return pick up and refund me money. The TV ad and your website state the returnand refund policy (within 15 days). I am getting frustrated with the experience I am having.

                                  I booked Symphony Air Cooler ICE CUBE with Homeshop18 on 26th Apr 13 under order No.[protected] with a delivery commitment of 2-3 days (confirmation mail received same day). Till 2nd May 13, product was not delivered after many follow up and calls. On 2nd May 13, I cancelled my order and requested for the refund of money paid via credit card upfront. I was informed that my refund will be processed after they receive back the product from their courier company. Eventually, after number of calls and emails, we refused the delivery of the product, as advised and on 15th May 13, I received a confirmation from call centre and was told that money will be refunded with 72 hours.
                                  Till 20th May 13, no refund has been processed and to my ultimate shock, I received a reply on mail from the customer care that refund can’t be processed, as the product has been delivered to your address. Today again, I spoke with the call centre support guy and was astonished to know that refund request has been raised on 9th May 13 and till today no refund has been done. Now they are telling me to wait till 27th May 13 for the refund.
                                  This is the worst experience of my life shopping online with Homeshop18. I purchase most of my products online and have never been harassed like this. I am left with no option but to file for the refund of money and damages with the consumer forum.
                                  I wish to use your medium to inform public in general about the modus operandi of Homeshop18, as to how they are cheating people by not delivery the product as per the commitment and then not even bothered to refund back the money. I strongly recommend that Homeshop18 should be blacklist and pubic in general should not shop with them.
                                  Hope you will share my views with all the potential buyers and help in safeguarding consumer rights.

                                    I bought a vacuum cleaner from HomeShop18 (Order Number[protected] Eureka Forbes Trendy Steel model. The product was delivered on 13th May 10:30 AM. When I unpacked the product it did not power on. I immediately reported this to HomeShop18 (Complaint no.[protected] and to Eureka Forbes who came the same day to check it and found the winding cable faulty which could not be due to logistic. The product was faulty when shipped. It has been 7 days and no replacement or refund has been initiated after number of calls made to them, they have called me only twice without any resolution. Apart from this when I call them they disconnect my call when they see the case. It has been an unpleasant experience doing business with HomeShop18.

                                    There is no mention on the website on how to escalate this matter or register a complaint against them.

                                    If something can be done for this from this portal it would be very good.

The buggers slept on order and when I submit complaint on 15 May, I was told they are working on it. On 17 I asked again just send me book and relieve me . They replied me through their website that they will send me book on 27 May.                                         Dear Sir/Madam,

                                        I purchased a "V-Guard Electronic Voltage Stabilizer VG-500 for AC Upto 2 T" from www.homeshop18.com website ref order #[protected]. The stabilizer had cracks and was not functioning. Citing a return policy clause of 4 day for complaining defective items the HS18 team simply rejected my compliant #81264721. The packaging was too bad. No thermocol or any such safety precautions taken in packing the product.

                                        When we later checked with the V-Guard technical team at a service center, they assured of a replacement since the product was not functioning and would be risky to use it by repair. And, they told us to talk to the people from where we purchased this item as the product packaging was not good due to which the product suffered damages.

                                        I would not worry of complaining if it was a small problem which could be rectified. And, I am not asking HS18 for any help now. However, I am not at all happy with HS18 service. They did not even consider my compliant without any verification of the state of the item when I complained. If the product is not at all functioning then there is no point linking the compliant with return policy of 4 days limit from the received date that too in a market where other popular websites accept items with return policies up to 1 month's time period. The policy should be considerate for such exceptional cases where the item is not functioning. This simply shows lack of responsibility in delivering a functioning product without proper packaging. Not at all a professional service. I was just shocked with the way the customer support team simple rejected my ticket. This is really a very bad service.
