    Hello,
    I have an account with ICICI Bank since 2019 and there was no obligation of minimum balance required for my account. Yesterday 504.41rupees was deducted from my account under the MABchgs, without even notifying me or sending me a message for the deduction . I thought that I might have bought something and forgot about it but in the statement today i received, it displayed that i have been charged for something spelt as MAB chgs . It have never happened before and at the time of opening my account i was not made aware of any such charges, so why am i charged of something which i was not made aware of in advance . Please look into the matter and help me in getting a refund of my money as soon as possible .

      My name is Mrudula M school teacher of Nallagandla, Hyderabad, account holder in your bank for the last 3 years. I hold an account in the name Nallagandla Hyderabad and account number[protected]. I wish to complain about deduction of money from my account. Since I started banking with you, this has never happened again.
      I wish to bring to your attention that 1052/-Rs has been debited from my account in a transaction not executed by me. On 23.04.2021. I received a text that I have withdrawn 1000/-Rs from my account. Unfortunately I did not make this transaction.
      I filed for a bank statement and it showed that the money is missing from my account. Kindly investigate and shed light on this matter. I look forward to your response to the problem.           I am sorry to say but you are just trying to fool people by taking their hard earned money without even informing them. As I earlier said my account was opened as salary account and at that time your representative didn't said anything regarding the mab charges or whatsover.And even when you are deducted amount from my account I didn't get
          even one msg or call or mail of deduction, what is this behaviour, are you trying to take money by fraudulent means in which you don't even notify the account holder about the deduction.

          This is really a tough time for everyone so I request you to please reverse my amount.
          I am hoping for a quick response.

            I have two salary accounts with ICICI bank, Mohali branch.
            My account no :[protected].
            My mobile no: [protected]

            My account has been debited by

            [protected] MABchgs-Feb21+GST 483.37
            [protected] MABchgs-Mar21+GST 399.99

            And second account[protected]
            [protected] MABchgs-Mar21+GST 3.61

            Without any confirmation amount was deducted. I am having a salary account and as per my knowledge salary account has no minimum balance requirement.
            I lost my job last year due to this pandemic. I don't have any job right now and I arranged this money for my personal use and it was deducted. I am very disappointed.
            I didn't receive any email or regarding changing my salary account to a savings account. (If this is the case).

            I emailed customer service, also live chat with them. But they didn't provide any proper solution.

            I am very frustrated I am gonna close both accounts due to irrelevant charges. Please understand my situation and refund my money back in my both accounts.

              Hi,

              It is with a heavy heart that I have to write this mail (for the umpteenth time in the past couple of months). What started as a beautiful relationship with ICICI Bank has now become a nightmare!

              Without beating about the bush, let me go back straight to the point-

              1) My initial complaint was about the deduction of INR. 826 for the Demat account charges. Mind you; I don't use the Demat services of this ICICI Bank; I am not even aware of my Demat Account Number. The reason that was given (after multiple email exchanges was that since I have 2 Demat accounts against my PAN Card, this amount was charged- I have another bank's Demat account already added to my PAN)

              2) Now the issue is when I first had this account created (on the 4th of November, 2015) I did not tell the executive to create a Demat account for me, but he went ahead and did it anyway behind my back. Had my Demat Account not been created that day by the ICICI personnel, I would have only one account and subsequently would not have lost INR. 826 as monthly charges for an account I don't even use

              3) Coming to the MAB issue- I have been getting emails regarding the maintenance of MAB for quite some time. Now I am currently pursuing an MBA, and hence I am a student without any earnings. It is not possible for me to maintain INR. 10, 000 per month. In fact, I have secured a job offer through my MBA placements, and I am yet to join the company. I requested the Bank to grant me a grace of 2-4 months at the most, pending which this account will again be the salary account.

              4) In fact, I have already published the details of this bank as my salary account to my future employer (which I am heavily regretting now, as I think it would be better if I would have closed this account altogether)

              5) Calling the customer care (after hours of waiting and getting dialled off) gave me another cruel dose of humiliation which I don't think I needed. They told a currently jobless unemployed student like me to maintain the required INR.10, 000 as if it was no big deal to do so. Another executive flat out rejected any chance of help, stating, I have to travel to my nearest branch and show my offer letter to have any chance of reversing the already deducted amounts! This was also suggested during my DEMAT account charges harassment days (brings back haunting memories!)

              6) I have chronic asthma; travelling outside my house to my branch would mean risking my life, but I guess that is what ICICI bank wants of its customers! Is this how the bank made 261% profit this quarter? By leeching unemployed students' money?

              7) I want, no, I demand an answer! And yes, I have complained multiple times to consumer forums, but this time, I am also going to use social media to garner attention.

                Am an icici bank customer. Today 25-04-21 ecsrtnchg charged 590 *4 =2360 rupees MAB charges 708*2 = 1416. I don't know what the charges ecsrtnchg... They the bank hit the charges without my knowledge and without any confirmation email or sms or any phone call. Please explain what the charge it is. This type direction is not good please return my charged amount. My email id is dadi.[protected]@gmail.com

                  Dear Sir,

                  This is Khaja Mohammed Neha Anjum holding an ICICI saving. My complaint is related to the minimum account balance charges, that bank has debited from my account without even notifying there policy changes, if any. I get quarterly statements but I have never got any information about the policy changes. I think ICICI bank is not even following the guidelines mentioned by RBI.
                  It is extremely disheartening that Bank is just debiting hefty amount from their customer's hard earned money, without any intimation through phone or statement or any way.

                  Who has given right to them to debit the amount without any notice or intimation to the customer? How one can be updated with the hidden rules modification.?

                  I have been checking about MAB charges and which accounts are eligible for it.I'm shocked to know that my account is not eligible as it is salary account.I have not been charged once in 4 years with this account and now suddenly they have debited amount without even notifying me.No sms or email alerts nothing.I came to know about is I noticed difference in my balance and checked my estatements on online banking portal. Bank is not supposed to charge me and yet I'm charged twice.
                  Please help me and resolve my issue by refund.

                  I have visited icici bank and did call customer care services.All they tell me is they converted my salary account to savings account "all of a sudden in feb 2021" while I was using it from 3-4 years now for which minimum balance is 10, 000 or else I'll be charged. I mean this is so unprofessional.They didn't even notify me about the changes in their policies.
                  All the trust and respect for Icici bank I had is evoparated now.What kind of customer service is this. How can a middle class customer maintain 10, 000 in account ?

                  Someone named Rahul Tripathi emailed me asking for my contact num saying he is one of icici customer support and will resolve my issue.I didnt understand if he is acually from bank then he must have my number right..though I provided him my num.And when he called from this num [protected] which is indeed icici customer support number..
                  He was again asking me about what my issue was and everything so I had to explain it to him again.He said he will refund my amount and asked for debit card number for confirmation.I provided it and then he asked for CVV... that is not supposed to be shared right.. I was sure this was a scam and quickly transferred all the amount from my icici account to another bank account.

                  And to confirm my doubts I got a message that someone was trying to debit 9, 438 rupees from my account.
                  This is just so ridiculous..I came here on this portal for help and even here people are trying to scam.
                  I really dont trust icici bank anymore and will be moving to another bank which is indeed safe...secure and reliable and actually cares to provide service to their customers rather than scamming them.

                    I have ordered clothes on flipkart at 30/03/2021 and paid Rupees 1434 amount through UPI from Google Pay and the RRN number is[protected] ...At first its failed and within a minute its showed as Success (paid) in Google Pay..Amount is deducted from my account but flipkart didn't received my money on flipkart its showing as "order not placed payment was not confirmed by bank" hence i have contacted flipkart customer care they told me that "they didn't received my money coz the amount is first failed it means its bank issue" and then i have mailed to icici bank they are telling the " payment was success you can call your merchant which is flipkart its their issue"
                    but i can see that the payment is first failed and then succesed which clearly means its bank issue, , and its been many days they haven't refunded my money ..and this os the second time iam raising my issue with consumer complaint ...at first when i complained here i got a reply from them to email them but they give me a invalid email id.. And my amount not yet refunded..
                    i want my money back ASAP.

                                Hi,

                                It is with great sadness that I have to write this for the umpteenth time. Firstly let me explain the context as to why I am writing this complaint (this was the body of an email that I wrote to ICICI on the 5th of April, 2021) -

                                1) My ICICI Bank Account was created in November of 2015, and it was my salary account. During that time, it was stated that I would not have to maintain any MAB for my account (it was a Zero Balance Account). But recently, I have been getting emails from ICICI Bank stating that I will have to maintain my MAB; otherwise, I will be charged for the same

                                2) I have not been maintaining my MAB for years now, then why am I suddenly being harassed for the same? This is reaching a tipping point wherein I will be now forced to end my more than 5 years of relationship with ICICI Bank. I had called the customer care today morning (which again takes a lot of good fortune to get hold of), and the executive was asking me to go to my nearest branch during the pandemic in order to get this issue resolved

                                3) Previously, I have been harassed by deducting INR. 826 as Demat charges for which I was again directed to go to my nearest branch! It has become a joke at this point when all other corporations are doing everything online. I am sorry to say my trust and fondness for ICICI is slowly evaporating, if at all left
                                It goes without saying that I need this resolved ASAP, failing which I will be permanently leaving the services of the bank and will go to one of its many competitors where customer service is still existent, and customers are treated as being more than just a means to make money!

                                This is the mail that I sent earlier. I had also mentioned earlier that within 1-2 months, I would be converting this account back into my salary account as currently, I am a student pursuing a course. Couldn't you have given me the grace of 1-2 months more before deducting the MAB charges, given the fact I have been a loyal customer for so many years?

                                Is it justified for ICICI Bank to deduct INR (826+ 537.38= 1363.38) from the customer's account, especially for someone without a job as of now? I am attaching everything below --

                                  ICICI BANK is linked to ICICIDIRECT. I sold my stocks and the amount of Rs.4919 is bein credited to my account but 1856 and 80 rupees is being deducted I understand 80 might be for the sell charges but. What about the 1856 in the name of EBA/ NSE. Is this a way to earn money in the name of bank.

                                      My account number[protected]. I just forgot about my SIP date. I registered for ECS mandate for mutual fund SIP recently. Morning 8 am itself bank sent message for failed transaction. I don't know that fund has to be transferred one day before my SIP date. Totally 590*3 - 1770 debited for ECS bouncing charge. It's not fair. Since it is not even a loan, it is just an investment in mutual fund. Please repay my 1770.
