I have purchased a 4G upgrade SIM for my existing idea no. [protected]. It's been 4 days, the 4G sim remains unactivated.
I'm unable to send or receive any calls/SMS. Too much inconvenience.

    IDEA CELL BILL DESK – FRAUD DRAMATICAL CALLS

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    My ICICI Credit Card ( xxxx xxxx xxxx 2020) and SBI Credit Card (xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-9195)
    has been misused by a fraudulent team today between 11.45 AM – 12.30 PM.

    The numbers of those frauds CALL FROM [protected] I have attached the transaction dispute form for your reference. An amount of Rs 19477.00 was deducted from the ICICI & SBI Credit cards.

    As of now, I have blocked my ICICI & SBI credit card and have registered an online FIR . NO. 75802 Please stop this transaction that happened in the name "IDEA CELL-BILL DESK" on 04/07/2017 for the amount 19477.00 Rs.

    All the four transactions has happened via IDEAMONEY

      Hi, I am having 2 sim cards of Idea Network. Now 1 is in Roaming and other one is a local sim. The Roaming sim will be working Awesome where as the local one will not. Roaming sim will be showing full network where as Local will be having a single tower or no network.
      For this complaint is being done but nothing happened.
      Finally I decided to go for porting for the same, As I had sent the porting message the Idea person called and assured that the problem will be resolved and on the other hand he gave me a very nice offer " The plan value of Rs 649 is given to you at the price of Rs 349" ( FALSE PROMISE ).
      When the Bill is generated of Rs 980, then they are talking nonsense as Ur previous plan + the new plan is Rs 980. Or its due to Roaming. I mean in 649, every thing was free, then they are telling its not updated by the executive " I mean is it my fault???

      Why should I pay for His mistake, then these guys are asking me the persons contact number. If I am getting a call from Idea Landline number, How can i save a number or point out a person. Its their work to identify as who had given this plan.

      Further in every call made by me to 198, they never transferred the call to their supervisor instead they will be keeping me on hold or they will tell a call back is arranged. But till yet I didn't got any call back.

      So,
      1. Wrong Plan provided.
      2. Misleading Information provided.
      3. They know some thing wrong is there so the call is not transferred to Superior.
      4. Call Back arranged is again a Lie.

      I think roaming is free both incoming and outgoing. DOn't you know that. check below link

            Hi,

            My Idea prepaid number was not in use from March so it's status got inactive. ON 22June we got a new SIMsim from MP Nagar idea office after submitting the required documents.

            They said, you cannot get the same no in prepaid but in postpaid you can, one person will come to your home address for verification then same no will be activated on this sim. We asked so many times for verification, but no one came for verification.

            I tried connecting to the Idea nodal officer on 3July via mail. I sent mail to these three id-
            ccare.[protected]@idea.adityabirla.com, appellate.[protected]@idea.adityabirla.com,
            grievance.[protected]@idea.adityabirla.com.
            Got an automated reply from appellate.[protected]@idea.adityabirla.com that's it. No action taken after that not ever a single follow up mail from idea for the issue.

            Yesterday(5July) when we went to Idea MP nagar office they said this no is already allocated to someone. We checked with the new owner and he said this number got activated 2 days ago only.

            When we have already submitted the documents and they gave us new sim. How could they can give that number to someone else??
            Is this a way idea deal with the customer?? And I must say Idea has very poor customer care service. Nodal officer details are not present on the site.
            Even you drop e-mail they won't take any action on that.

                It is so annoying that, every time i recharge my mobile, idea company adds some vas services, without my permission, n they cut the money from my recharge. When i try to call the customer care, it takes forever to speak with them. Whenever i am able to connect to them they says, u have activated it from your end, after deactivation, it will be refunded, but it never.

                  Dear trai team,

                  My last bill amt is rs-377.46 due date is 21/06/2017 which is paid on 01/07/2017, time 17:54:55 through hdfc net banking transaction reference number is hdfc[protected], but till my pending amount is shown. I have already communicate with idea cellular customer care executive on 03/07/2017 :57: 14 pm through communication id c1-[protected] but till not resolve payment posting discrepancy. Today (On 05/07/2017) out going service is stop due to a reason as not bill payment... My second communication id is c1-[protected] on 05/07/2017. Plz interfere & resolve the problem.

                    On 27-June, I have received SMS from idea reg. value added service called Bluelima. I immediately called customer care & asked them what is blue lima. With my surprise, they don't know anything & moreover they said, this service was activated with my permission. I asked them to show the proof of permission. They don't have any record. I asked them to cancel all VAS services from my account.

                    Today, 5-July-2017, I have received a monthly bill from Idea with Rs. 35/- charged for Bluelima service from 26-June-2017 to 2-July-2017. Again I called customer care. They simply said we don't know anything about Blue lima. If they don't know anything, how can they charged without our permission.

                    When I asked them to show me the proof of my request / permission of activation of this service, they simply said, you don't pay, we will waive this amount.

                    This is very bad that a we, customers are charged for a VAS without our concern. This way Idea is minting money through backdoor. If they charged Rs. 35/- from 40 % customer like me then they will get more than Rs.50 Cr. per month. This is nothing but cheating the customer.

                    When anyone object then they simply waive the charges. Which means it is bogus charges & for that Idea should be punished with compensation to every customer they charged, for this type of fraudulent activity.

                    Kindly take this complained to TRIA & also give us contact details of TRIA so that we can write to them.

                    Same here with [protected]..I got a SMS mentioning Bluelima Service being Activated and Rs.35 being deducted for the same..and Surprisingly I hadn't requested for the same anytime...This seems to be a Fraud with Customers as VAS is activated and Customer is charged Unnecessarily without his consent...TRAI must look into this matter..

                      This is the fourth time I am raising porting request to get out of IDEA. Such a horrible service you provide to customers.

                      I am not using postpaid but still I am paying bill from January this year, tried to change to prepaid but the store people are least responsible in helping out.

                      Now I am fed up and raised a porting request on[protected], still now my number is not released and I am being asked to raise a request again. After waiting for 23 mins on line your customer care executive disconnected my call.

                      After paying outstanding amount only I raised port request, How many times should I do that. Such disgusting service you provide ??

                      I want my number to be released immediately, I do not want to raise again, If you are not processing I am not going to pay your bills (as I am not using it anyway).

                      MY DAD IS AN ADVOCATE AND I CAN VERY WELL POST A CASE IN CONSUMER COURT FOR THIS TORTURE IF YOU ARE NOT RELEASING MY NUMBER TO AIRTEL.

                        Hi,

                        I was using idea's corporate plan of 399 from past 2 yrs and bill was regularly coming between 400 to 500, in last month they gave me 10 GB of free data for which I never did any activation, now they are saying I have used more than 10 GB of data for which they have charged me 600 rs extra in this month bill.

                        If I have not made any internet activation on my number then why should I pay this extra 600 rs to them, the service was provided from their end forcefully without giving me prior intimation.

                        Could you please help me for this as I have been using this number from quite long time so switching this number is very difficult

                        in which VAS charged is 584 rs
                        Normally bill I receive is 450 -500 rs pm

She said a person named shanty provided your number and his bill is due. So that we are going to disconnect your connection. I would like to tell you that I am using aircel number.                               Dear Sir/Madam,
                              I raised porting request from idea to other network due to unavailability of 4g network in my area. My bill had to be generated on 1st july. I am using the plan of Rs.349 on discount of Rs.100 but my bill has been generated with monthly rental of Rs.489 on 1st July which is incorrect. Trying to understand the ambiguity in the bill I called 12345 for idea customer care. For which I was told that they are unable to check my bill details as the database is not working and it will be active after 5 hours. I was asked to call again after 5 hours. After those 5 hours I am continuously trying to call idea customer care on their various customer care numbers(12345 & 198) but couldn't connect as it keeps repeating the same voice message-. Please link your idea number with adhaar, even when my number is already linked to adhaar. The message keeps repeating forever until the ph is disconnected. Due to incorrect bill generated by idea I couldn't pay the same and waiting for its correction. But the idea customer care never seems to connect. It is like they have intentionally redirected my number to Ivrs system which keeps repeating the same thing. Also the number couldn't be ported as idea doesn't approve the porting request without bill payment. I am stuck in the middle. Neither could I connect to idea customer care nor I could get my number ported to other network. IDEA don't seem to care or help. Request the team to please look into my concern and help me.

                                    Last week(28 Jun, 30 Jun 2017) I had port 2 SIM in idea ([protected], [protected]) with 349 unlimited plan. That time Idea store Executive said, idea will provide me 31 GB data per month, but after activation of both SIM card, Idea provided me only 5 GB data per month. After I had made the call to idea store Executive than she said, she had never said for 31 GB data. After that I had visited to Idea store than she talked with misbehavior. Now I want to report my both number idea to other network.

                                      I am Naveen kumar kudikala from Hyderabad. I received a fraud phone call from CITI lady (+91 [protected]) informing that my rewards points is going to expire.
                                      She said that they will adjust the rewards points Rs. 4785/- to the next payment, she told my card number, so I have agreed to share the OTP.

                                      Then, she ask for the OTP which I received through sms for transactions of Rs. 4785 each took place (total 4).
                                      For the Fraud transaction using my CITI Debit credit card card. Merchant is Idea Money Mumbai.

                                      Below are the Fraud transaction (Narration & Debited Amount taken from Account statement) on my SBI credit card on 29-April 2017.

                                      By the time, I realized, my account got debited with 19140/- (4785 each).

                                      03/07/2017 PURCHASE SUBJECT: MCUPOS 03JUL0733 Card no.: 5497XXX0XXXX2302 03JUL IDEAMONEY MUMBAI Ref:[protected] Ref No :- 03JUL0733 4, 785.00
                                      03/07/2017 PURCHASE SUBJECT: MCUPOS 03JUL0734 Card no.: 5497XXX0XXXX2302 03JUL IDEAMONEY MUMBAI Ref:[protected] Ref No :- 03JUL0734 4, 785.00

                                      I got call from [protected].

                                      Please take severe action against the people who did this and reverse the amount back to my account immediately.

                                        Plz provide the transaction receipt for the same of rs 550/-
