Dear Sir,

I have requested so many times to Customer care # 198 and getting assurance/confirmation from them and after that Amount Rs.16/- dedeuct from Every week from my balance.

I am sending you herewith the following details for which Amount of Rs.16/- deducted from my balance amount after getting confirmation from Idea Cellular:

1) SMS Received from IG-Idea: 25.05.2011 at 21:10 Message contain "Your sms pack RC-16 will get auto-renewed tomorrow. Enjoy the uninterrupted SMS benifits with Idea".
I have called to 198: on 25.05.2011 at 21.25 for De-activation and assurance given me that your request we have received and your pack will not get auto-renew and de-active at 05 PM Hrs on 26.05.11.

2) SMS Received from IDEA Care: 26.05.2011 at 03:18 Message contain "Dear Customer, Your request for pack act could not be resolved. Kindly contact customer care. SR 1-[protected]".

I have called to 198: on 26.05.2011 at 04.00 for De-activation and assurance given me from Mr.ASIKHUSEN that i have De-activated your SMS scheme and your amount will not deducted from your account.

3) SMS Received from IG-Idea: 26.05.2011 at 07:00 Message contain "Your sms pack RC-16 will get auto-renewed tomorrow. Enjoy the uninterrupted SMS benifits with Idea".

I have called to 198: on 26.05.2011 at 07.45 PM for De-activation and assurance given me that your request we have received and your pack will not get auto-renew and your amount will not deducted from your account and at that time my balance was Rs.63.55/-.

4) SMS Received from IDEA Care: 26.05.2011 at 07:50 PM Message contain Dear Customer, Your request for pack deactivation has been processed successfully 05/27/11 4:48:00 PM. SR 1-[protected] Thank you".


After that today morning I have checked my account balance & it was showing Rs.62.43/- and at 12:30 Today balance showing Rs.46.43/-.

Also informing you that now I feel Idea Cellular like headache...

Hence, kindly look into and do the needful.

    This is to bring to your notice that I have a Idea net setter connection No.[[protected]]which was recharged on Dated: 15/May/2011 worth Rs 299Meanwhile the company has changed the scheme from Rs 299 to Rs 298 .
    I am a Teacher in a Boarding school where it is not possible to get the recharged done quickly so we have to depend upon the local shopkeeper of it.The shopkeeper was not aware about the change in scheme and it was recharged .When we discussed it with the consumer care cell of Idea they refused to refund the money and also to make necessary adjustment in it. How can a company accept all its consumer to know about its changed scheme when they don't communicate it to their consumers .Kindly take necessary action as I am not satisfied with it and also it has caused loss to me in my teaching to the IGCSE board students without net connection.My email Id is g.[protected]@gmail.com

      Hi,

      I am a customer of Idea Prepaid since April 2006,and due to horrible network problems,call drop issues which i faced with Idea from last 6 months,I opted for a MNP from Idea to Airtel,and i raised the request for the same.But 4 days after raising the MNP request i received a message saying,my MNP has been denied due to invalid UPC code.Hence i raised the request for the 2nd time and the same happened again,and this was repeated for the third time too.When i call the customer care or visit the idea outlets,i dont get a satisfactory reason for the same.This is ridiculous and utter negligence towards customers who have been with the network for such a long time.
      Kindly provide a resolution for the same,else i would be compelled to change my service provider as well as my telephone no.

        I am using Idea No. [protected]. I have been trying to port out of idea and they always reject my request because of reason which does not prevail. I have complaint customer care but did not yet any response. I have written mail to the Nodal Officer but even she doesn't reply. I have made 2 reminders to her but no revert. I just need the answer on why my request was cancelled with proof and also to make my number port out asap.

        I have opted for MNP from Idea to Vodafone due to the poor network / poor responses from the Idea Customer Care.

        The request for porting to Vodafone is not honored by Idea. Whenever I call the Idea Customer care they were telling me some strange things like, the porting will be done by 10 Am tomorrow or 1 PM tomorrow. Fed up after 2 weeks of hearing the same thing I wanted to raise a complaint through the Idea Website. Funnily, the complaint option does not work with some strange messages (nice way of avoiding complaints). So had to raise the complaint through the feedback option. Then I get a call from the customer care of Idea again on 23-02-11 informing me that my issue will be resolved in 48 hours. In the mean time, I get a mail from Customer care that I should visit the nearest Idea store for assistance.

        I have visited the Idea Store near greenlands only to be told that, they can not help me out as they can only assist in port-in requests. But the executive at the Store was kind enough to tell me that as per the database, my application was rejected due to 'contaractual obligations'

        Immediately I called up the customer care, today[protected] at 16.04 with which Mr. Rajesh, Team Leader has answered and informed me that, they will get back to me after verifying information.

        Subsequently, I got a call from Mr. Lakshman, [protected] at 16.29 (on[protected] and he informs me that my application was cancelled as it was recorded in the database that I have given my consent to continue with Idea, Which information is completely FALSE!

        Infact I requested Idea that in case they can not port out, to terminate my connection.

        But now, I am going to the consumer court to settle the issue.

        I am posting this here to make the users aware of Idea's malpractices. What an Idea, Sir ji!

        Even after so many days no body, TRAI, Idea, Vodafone seems to bother.. there is only one standard reply from Idea Customer care, that they are verifying records..

        Vodafone, on the other hand, who collected the security deposit for the new MNP connections, washing their hands saying they are helpless!
        IDEA Cellular :WORST SERVICES EVER I HAVE USED : MOBILE NUMBER PORTABILITY
        SINCE LAST ONE WEEK I AM SENDING SMS TO 1900 FOR MNP BUT NO RESPONSE. I JUST GET A RESPONSE MSG. "YOUR REQUEST HAS BEEN RECEIVED , WE WILL GET BACK TO YOU. ... EVEN I HAVE CALLED CUSTOMER CARE OF IDEA FOR ALMOST 30-40 TIMES DAILY BUT SEEMS THEY ARE JUST PLAYING GAME OF TRANSFERRING CALLS TO OTHER COLEAGUES. AND EVEN THEY KEEP YOU ON HOLD FOR ALMOST 20-25 MINS AND FINALLY THEY PUT U ON HOLD AND FORGET THE CALL. THIS IS THE WORST SERVICES I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS..

        I HAVE DONE THAT 100-200 TIMES BUT NOTHING HAPPENS. WELL NOW I DONT HAVE ZEAL TO CALL IDEA, NOW I WILL ONLY DISCUSS THIS MATTER IN LEGAL WAY.

I was applied for MNP and hand over all proofs in mobile shop, He filled all details in front of me and he told that will forward application form to idea office. After 10 days my reliance sim signal was lost after signal lost I inserted my MNP idea sim in my mobile and tried to activate but I didn't get signals. I called to idea customer care from other number and explained regarding signals problem. They told have to submit my proof's again in idea office, I went to idea office to submit my proof's. They told their is no problem with proof's and ready to activate. Again I checked signals in my mobile and checked in other phones also still no signal. I called to idea customer care few times 1st executive told due proof's problem, 2nd executive told will activate after 24 hrs 3.super executive asked my sim number after explained idea executives previous conversation after 15 min's he asked my sim number, I told him and he replied my sim was wrong. I informed to executive that mobile shop person entered all details in front of me. He told to contact in idea office. Next day I visited to idea store at ameerpet near to ICICI bank and explained all conversations of executives. I was not tried to solve the problem told move to mobile shop where I applied, I went to mobile shop and said regarding sim problem. Again he told to better to contact in idea office, Again I moved to idea office he directly said move to Idea head office. This is idea best service. Please solve my asap, and I am facing this signal problem from past 6 days.

        On 02/07/2015, i have submitted one online request for "MNP to Idea Cellular" from there website. And i have got one confirmation that there representative will call me shortly to help me in the process of MNP. But as on date 04/07/2015, i have not received any call from Idea Cellular.

        After this i have checked there website for nearby Idea Store to go for MNP. But again i got the dis-appointment by finding that there is only one Idea Store available, which is in the distance of 25KM. It means for a MNP i need to waste whole the day.

          Hi.
          I have purchased the IDEA Net Setter 3G connection around May 5th. My billing date is May 12th.
          But on May 8th, my connection got barred and I was told to pay the bill of 800/- as this bill is above the credit amount allotted to me. I have informed them that I have practically not browsed at all !!!!!!

          I got the reply that "We can not do anything till the time bill is generated".

          So I paid the bill and started using the connection.
          I browsed 1/2 an hour to 2 hours everyday. No download aapart from 6 old hindi songs and 2 hours online movie. No video chatting apart from 25 minuts of skype chat.
          The bill cale 11000/- and my connection got barred.
          So I directly contacted the GPRS desk and asked them to assist me asap as I was working from home and HAD to have the net connection.
          So they relaunched the GPRS and within 2 hours I got my connection. BUT ONLY TILL NEXT FEW HOURS when bill amount was 13000/-
          Now I am not browsing at all and the bill amount is 15000/-

          What is the use of customer care is you CAN NOT help till the time bill is generated , which is June 12th.!@#$$$

                My name is Preetika Mahindroo.

                I had made a request for an new Idea postpaid connection lat week. Somebody from "i-com solutions" came on 17/05/2011, at my office address(Valvoline Cummins Ltd, plot number 278, Udyog Vihar , phase II, Gurgaon) and handed a sim to me saying that the number will be activated in 3-4 working days and somebody will come for verification also.
                I waited till 20/05/2011, but no one turned for verification and suddenly a lady called me and told me that the number which they have given to me is already activated on someone else's name, so they will change the number and someone will come and exchange the sim and give me a new one on 21/05/11, first of all this was a blunder made by them that they allotted me a number which someone else was already using, then also no one came to give a new sim.
                Since Monday I have been calling Idea people of Faridabad branch at [protected](Mr. Bunty) and at [protected](Mr. Bharat), and since i have spoken to them on Monday, after that they are not picking my call, or else they give the call to a person named Pawan and he says they are in meeting and have left their phone outside the meeting room.

                Is this the way a new customer is been treated, and no one caters to call back or don’t have the courtesy to pick the call or give a call back???

                I request you to look upon the matter and let me know what can be done about it and i want them to return my security of 250rs. And I will not be interested in buying a connection from idea now.

                    Dear Sir/ Madam,

                    My mobile no is [protected] and I had registered a complaint with your customer care today stating that my 98/- Rs was deducted while I was sending sms. The response which I received from the executive had no base. They said that I have activated my GPRS and hence my balance was deducted.

                    I have never made any usage of your internet plans since I have switched to Idea, but still my balance is deducted automatically and this is not the first instance when my balance was deducted. And now I was deducted Rs 1:50/- (when for STD it is 1:20/-) for my smses when there are some initial 35 smses free. And on complaining again your executive said that they have no information with them. There is no initiative seen from your executive/s side I had to take this step to mail you.

                    Hope that you will take your customers seriously and look into this matter and do the needfull.

                        My phone has just activated a 51985 number automatically, there is a deactivation code, i have had these unwanted numbers numerous times and found it impossible to cancel.                           Dear Sir/Madam,

                          I have recharged my mobile through online banking for Rs.200/- and i got internet services activated on my number, where in I was expecting TalkTime. However my mobile doesnt support internet I could not use it.I contacted the customercare immediately within 2mins to revert the recharge so that I can recharge again for talktime.
                          I did not get solution for it.More over as I was travelling I could not do anything else other than contacting the CC. I am really very sorry to say that the services provided by IDEA is pathatic.
                          Also we get daily atleast 20 promotional calls which are very very annoying.

                          Please revert my money back or else atleast from next make sure, whenever a user does a online recharge give a pop-up mentioning the list of recharge type for the amount of recharge seleted.

                          idea top up recharge — not received recharge top up

                          on 7/09 i have recharged my mobile through online easy recharge and my amount of rs 500 deducted from my bank account i personaly logged my complaint to idea center but still i have not received any satisfactory answer and also not any complaint number stll i have not received any balance

                            Dear Sir,

                            I am using Idea mobile services from last 8 years, it has been a good experience for me until this incident happened with me.
                            i got calls from [protected]/ [protected] these Nos. A guy by the Tarun spoke to me, he said he is calling from Idea cellular Service and they had a good plan for me.
                            Tarun personal mob no. is [protected].
                            i liked that plan and i decide to get that plan activated on my present No.([protected])
                            plan was to covert my present prepaid into post paid connection and i will get the benefit of reduced call tariff.
                            he said we will send our executive at your place he will give you a Sim Card that will get activated in a day. a guy came at my place his name was pradeep, he took my present address for verification purpose,
                            and he charged me 250 Rs. in cash and also took my Driving licence Copy and gave me a receipt of Rs. 250 and a sim card (Sim no.[protected]) on receipt, the name of his Co. name was Majestic Infotech Services. written

                            at evening i put that new Sim in my mobile set, how ever it says registration failed, it did not get activated neither i got any call from that co for new plans details. which i supposed to get as per mr, pradeep.

                            then i went to idea store in rohini sec-9, i told them the whole scene that i got calls from idea and and i have brought a new sim for converting my present prepaid no. into post paid , i showed them the new Sim card ( (Sim no.[protected]) At idea store they said the Sim card is original but no body can issue you this Sim card unless you give him your photographs present Address proofs and present Simcard Photocopy.

                            idea assistant said give me the Sim card no. so that they can find out who had been alloted this sim and how can that person distributing Sims like this(on fake basis)
                            he said this co. might have cheated you, because they did not take my photographs and neither did the take my present sim photocopy..

                            then at idea store that assistant lodge a complaint to idea concerned Authority regarding all my issue, that a customer has been fooled by some fake organization operating by the name Majestic Infotech Services. representing idea.the complaint no. given to me by that assistant is[protected].

                            Sir i would like you to kindly look into the matter, many innocent customers are getting fooled by this Fake/forged Co. who come at your place charges money rs.250 take your personal details , your ID proofs
                            and then they disappears neither they call you back nor their any contact no get reachable.

                            A sooner response will be highly appreciable

                              i am using n70. and my mob card is postpaid of idea co. some one made a international call by hacking my mob no. from 19/5/11 without my knowledge. and mob. co. charged me Rs.7000/- as bill of one day. i complained to idea co. about the incident but they not respond properly. the all international no. are appeared in my log book. and idea co. disconnect my outgoing no. These international no are +[protected], +[protected],+[protected],+[protected],+[protected],+[protected],+[protected],+[... when i opened this website i learn that so many complained registered here like me. so many people were affected like me. you are requested to look into the matter seriously. in all complaint the phone no. are same. please find what is the racket behind this crime. or it is the company policy to loot the people. pl. send the action reply at [protected]@rediffmail.com. regards.

                                my name ia abbas daudi
                                my number is [protected] is running well with reliance since last three years, because of no handset choice i want to change my operator to GSM. i have one idea connection [protected]. so i think i switch to IDEA. i subbmitt my all documents since last 1.5 months. but my card is not active. i contact customer care 2-3 times. and also contact idea stores also. idea charge me bills .. but i not done any call from this SIM.
                                and they send me the bills of both numbers together. they have already documents for my id and address. but they are not responce me..and answer me...so i am frustrate from company and i decide for complaint to TRAI.

                                  Dear Sir,
                                  My no.is [protected].Everytime when I recharge or topup my mobile a fix amount was deducted and after sometime there are be a negative balance. When I contact to customer care no satisfactory answer from there side. One day I got a message that "Your Subscription to Tic Tac Toe Monthly could not be renewed due to low balance".I dont know what type of this service is?
                                  Please Deactivate this service so I could recharge again and avail mobile service.

                                    I am a Idea (Maharashtra circle) prepaid user ([protected]). I have activated 3G services.
                                    I am getting poor upload speeds. My upload speed is just 58 Kbps. See attached screenshot.
                                    58 Kbps is not a 3G speed. At such low speeds I am not able to use voice chat and other features.

                                    It is completely fraudulent practice by Idea to call such poor service as 3G service and looting customers at Rs 10.24 per MB.

                                    I have made repeated complaints to customer care and Nodal officer but they are saying that's maximum speed they can give. But that is not the case. I have seen that with other SIM card (my friend's SIM card), I am able to get upload speeds more than 400 kbps. That means it is a provisioning issue on my SIM card. The other SIM that I used is a postpaid connection.

                                    I am using iPhone 3GS handset which is a HSDPA handset and I am able to get good upload and download speeds on this handset with BSNL and Tata Docomo SIM cards. It is purely Idea 3G provisioning problem which they are not accepting. It is not even a cell site problem because everywhere it shows the same test results.

                                    I am using well know software called SpeedTest.Net to do this speed testing.

                                    Idea is big cheater in 3g. I have recharged wih 950rs for unlimited pack for 1 month. But i couldnot find any difference with 2g. All my friends have same problem. If they couldnot provide 3g service then why they r giving advertisement. I vl wait for 2more days, after that we all together file case in court for cheating customers.

                                    computer takes data as Byte(which is capital B) and over provider cheat as saying they will be give as kbps/mbps which is(bit)
                                    and 1Byte=8bit
                                    means they say 7.2Mbps than they actually say (7.2/8=)910kBps which is actually meaning and which depends upon network factorsSssss
                                    means you get 700-750kBps max
                                    and in idea netsetter 3.6mbps means (3.6/8=) around 400kBps which you get upto 3GB(byte or bit dont know maybe is B) after that 80kbps means 10kBps (around) and also if you download more(which you will because that is why you get internet connection to see video on youtube, download software from sourgeforge, listen last.fm etc etc) there will FUP(decrease speed by ratio 10 than 5 than no connection at all) so basically you are (birla, tata, vodafone etc are laughing at you)


                                    so brothers consider the broadband connection they are reliable. bsnl and other like(you broadband is awesome) gives you 8mbps(20gb tak) and than 2mbps

                                    Dont be you are consumer here and they have taken advantage of your foolishness so please i beg you all to disconnect and connect into broadband any you like
                                    thanks i will post again if it is deleted(yes they regulate this site also like refulating TRAI by money and i have video footage of that also)

                                      i purchase a idea 3g sim and a idea 3g modem, it is completing one month. but it was not working properly. i submited it there, from where i was purchase it, it is completing more than 2 weeks. and there are not giving any responce how can i got it??
