I purchased the idea deta card . The executive came to my office and tell me thet the card will be activeted in8 hours after 2 days when i call beacuse card is not activeted then they use abuse ward to our director. i think is idea cellular is a bedest company in india .this company have no ability provide 3g service . all executives in idea are also like company.look at vodaphone.. just learn somthing from them

    charges applied without services
    Dear Sir/Mam,

    Following are the conversation I had with Idea people please refer to them and help me in getting my money back.
    I have recharged one of my Idea number( [protected] ) with Rs. 101through freecharge.in using my credit card on 24.05.2011.

    This number has not been recharged so I called up customer care and spoke to executive named Deepak and then Sanjeev they said it takes 7 days to recharge. I again made a recharge on my second number ( [protected] ) with Rs. 109 and that was updated immediately.

    I started calling up customer care on 30th May 2011. First with Kalpana then with Bhanu and few more I dont remember all names. I have asked to transfered the call to supervisor or TL on which my call was been disconnected. Yes, Ill say disconnected as it happened multiple times. Then I had a word with Sr. Executives one of them was Ms. Pooja who said my money can not be refunded and I can not take benefit as it is a first time recharge, i said i have been using it for last many years. On this she made it clear that I have to be sure in future before recharging.

    Finally I had a word with Mr. Vishal, he said he is a TL but i dont think so that he is a TL and if he is a TL Idea needs to think again before putting such people on high ranks.

    Mr. Vishal was same as like any other CCA who was more eager to win over the customer. But he said he will arrange a call back and some senior person will call within next 24hrs. but still Ive not received any call and it is more than 60hrs.

    Please let me know how would one know about it? If you are giving permission to any website for recharge services it is your duty to put an alert on it for such critical recharge options.

    I don't know how do you feel it but as a old customer of Idea it feels like I have trusted a brand which has no feeling for customer. It is not about just money it is about if you understand and feel the same like customer.

    I don't understand when you say no benefits can be provided and money is with you for no reason. Surely I'll break my relations with Idea, I have 2-3 numbers of idea which I will discontinue and will make sure that I talk to every individual about it so that they do not get duped by Idea and it's inhuman policies.

    I'll take further necessary actions against it. For you guys Customer is 'kasht se mar' and nothing else.

    Thank you for your inhuman, tricky, unhelpful, disrespectful and anti customer care services.

    when I have entered the amount on line it should show some alert so that one can stop making mistake.

    It is my money and how can you keep it without any services?

    I need my money back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Customers are in trouble they are happy and copy past is the solution. No senior has this sense of responsibility to even call even when one of the TL promised me to arrange a call back 4 days back.

    no credit has been made. what should I look for on the website?
    You guys do not understand anything you do not have common sense you are prone to policies but people run on behavior and love and affection not on polices but u r all macheines no human do what ever u want i'll switch to some other network u don't worth customer loyalty. I hope one day idea cellular would suffer for it's malpractices. How can u keep my money with out giving services? on freecharge every company notifies on such critical recharge account but u guys are corrupt so that's y u did this...

      My idea cellular number is [protected] and my name is sumeet kumar.
      On 1st June 2011 I recharged my number with Rs 28 GPRS Pack,on evening of 2nd june 2011 my balance suddenly become 0(zero) .I thought that my GPRS pack limit 0f 500 MB was over.So i recharged with Rs 30 and Rs 28 and i started using GPRS pack after 1 min i found that my Balance has again become 0(zero) In spite of my GPRS pack being active.
      I called Customer care repeatably they every customer care executive said me to call after 3 hour as they cant help due to technical problem each time i called them.

      STRICT ACTION SHOULD BE TAKEN AGAINST IDEA CELLULAR AND MY DEDUCTED BALANCE SHOULD BE CREDITED .

        Dear Sir/ Madam,
        I have idea no [protected] and have come to grahakcompints.com. on26th May 11 for wrong deductions of Rs 340/- made by the service provider for the alleged GPRS facility provided in the month of May 11, just after I charged my cell with amount. Whereas, I lodged a complaint in this connection to Idea on 25th May 11. While taking the status with Idea on 31st May11 with complaint cell, it has been informed by 198 (so called complaint cell) that no complaint has been lodged and it was a simple talk. When again asked to lodge it now then it has been informed by 198 that as no issue as per them exists, so complaint can not be lodged and the deducted money can also not be refunded. When asked to give the reference no of the talk then the number given was 1-[protected] and straight way refused to enter any complaint even by their senior office in-charge Sh Akhilash, it is totally arbitrariness. Now the basic question arises that:
        1. Where is so called complaint cell i.e. 198? Why Forums / Judgments making bodies are telling to first lodge a complaint then come for resolving the issues. – Where are the sanctity remains of such versions when there is a basic wrong-ness in the procedures. There is lot of space for the company (idea Cellular) for the planned escape & defense? So Idea Cellular has arbitrariness and play with the customer’s money customer care talk as per their convenience and whims. This planned nature of their system will save them for any legal actions against them. It informed by complaint cell that there are no records for the talk when asked to record for further reference. So complaint can be accordingly manipulated to enter the weaker complaints their-self to show to the authorities / public bodies, if so mandatory or under some system. This is height of planned & safe arbitrariness by any service provider company.
        2. There is no other mode as told to me my complaint cell (198) in which the written or recorded complaint can be lodged for further actions, and the regular complaint cell needs activation by them only, which they do not activate timely.
        3. No one for such a pity amount peruse the matter for longer time? So is the loop hole with the company to pilfer the small amount by backhand.
        4. I therefore, request to grahakcompints.com. to look into it and such cell in the company’s are to be made which should be “open to public” and should be advertised / displayed appropriately/ easy / approachable easily for the use of customers (present require activation from Idea Cellular in which time of activation is as per their whims). If any thing grahakcompints.com can do on the first hand before trying to resolve any issue of the customers of Idea Cellular. Otherwise, any agency even grahakcompints.com. will be handicapped to resolve even of the genuine problems raised by the customers.
        5. I hope grahakcompints.com. shall be able to resolve the basic question along with getting me back the wrong deductions made by the company for which I have no complaint no, but has only the aforesaid reference number only for the reasons best mentioned above.

          Idea network not working from last 3 months
          Don't treat this complaint as negative but to improve your service and gain the trust of your esteemed customers.
          I have suffering the poor service, False committed made by Idea cellular, mental harassments,

          Hi , I have taken Idea SIM card and they claim that the network will be the best in Maharashtra and they claiming it by TV Ad also.And now there is no signal at all.
          Though sometimes signals are there but is someone calls up, it just gives message that the phone is unreachable.
          So either they should stop from giving such decieving adverisement and claiming that the It has full netwok coverage.

          I have recently shifted from Reliance to Idea by Mobile Portability but in my hometown it really works very good.           I'm using Idea cellular post paid service since January 2012. I'm facing the network problem from very first day. I've complaint 2 times with their customer care executive. but did not get any response from their side. most of the time there is no any network signal in my mobile meanwhile if signal detected and we want to make a call then withing a few minutes its become silent automatically but meter reading is going on.

          I'm very troubled by their services so I would like use mobile number portability.

I am facing network issue if i go inside the building no signal even we can&#039;t find the single point of signal. If i am out side the building signal will come. I have given complaint in Idea customer care two times. They told me that they will resolve the problem and they closed the ticket but they didn&#039;t resolve the problem. Idea service is very bad.             Hi,

            I am idea netsetter user and my number is [protected]. I started facing network issue from 11th May and was not able to work with the device at all. At that time I was in Patna(on roaming) and a complain was placed at local idea gallery. It was not fixed there and upon returing back to mumbai the same problem persist. I again lodged a complain at mumbai on 18th May (Docket Ref No:1769811​2). The customer care called on 24th May and said that there may be device problem so visit a nearest gallery for a check on. I visited the idea gallery(Garima Enterprises, Chembur), they took the device for checking and kept it for 2 days. (on 27th May) After 2 days they replied that we need to send this to headoffice for repairing and it will take minimum 15 days. They're not ready to provide any standby device, so that I can continue my work.
            Now how can somebody work for 1 month in this situation where internet is a must for work. On top of that they continue to send me bills with full charges, evenif I am not able to use their services.

            Customer care is insensitive to the issue.

            My friend lost his mobile phone which has IDEA POSTPAID connection few days ago.So with concern to security he tried to inform on idea customer care.The worst part of idea customer care is that if you want to register a complaint of lost of sim(post-paid), you have to call from some IDEA post-paid only.Do IDEA management does not have sense that if someone has lost his sim-card how he will be able to call??That person then have to search for some one who has idea post-paid connection them only he can register his complaint..Don't they think that this wrong management of their service???

            whenever i call to customer care they charge call @ Rs 50p/3min.............it is disgusting........hum c.c. k phone help karne k lie karte hai or ye uper se paise deduct kardete hai mai ye chahta hu k jbi bi koi bi c.c. ko phone milae ko rs deduct na ho.....i tink dis prob was solve
            Now they're using threatening trick. I was a user of their netsetter [protected]. The device was not working and was not repaired for 1.5 months(It was in warranty period). Now they have charged for that period and their recovery agents are giving threatening calls. I told them that get the device repaired and I am ready to pay the bills which they refused.

                      i m a new user in idea cellular services from Febuary 5th 2011. before it i use airtel prepaid no. n i m satisfy with there service. bt main problam with airtel its to costly. actully i want a postpaid connection who have minimum call rates nd gives me other offer like internet nd sms packs. so i change my service provider nd choose to idea cellular its plan amaging. bt main problam with it they r no responseble with custmour problem n there service. After one week of MNP i have registered a request in DND. I know very well DND Process take approx 45 days on activation bt after 90 days i received unnessery calls, SMS from commercial offer like flats, laxmi yantra, charity orgnaisation, n much more. i have try to many time coustmor care nd every time they give me a new complaints no. who r mention in foollowing manner.

THE COMPANY FORCEFULLY DEDUCTING MONEY FROM MY IDEA ACCOUNT FOR UNWANTED SERVICES ACTIVATION. FOR INSTANC, I NEVER DID ANY REQUEST FOR THE SERVICE OF " LOVE KI DISPENSARY' BUT THE ACTIVATED ON MY NUMBER AND CLAIMS 30 RUPEES PER MONTH AND AFTER RENEWING CONTINUESLY EVERY MONTH EVEN AFTER MY COMPLAIN TO DEACTIVATE AND REFOUND MY MONEY.
                        IN ADDITION TO THIS EVERYDAY I GET UNWANTED SMS REGARDING IDEA PROMOTIONAL ADs. I COMPLAINED TO THE CUSTOMER EXECUTIVE AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES TO BLOCK THE SERVICES OF THIS WANTED SMS BUT TO NO AVAIL. THEY SENDS SMS EVEN AT LATENIGHT. SOME OF THE SMS ARE BASED MAKING FRIENDS, GIRL FRIENDS AND DO ROMANCE.
                        I KINDLY REQUEST YOU TO PLEASE SOLVE THE PROBLEM.
                        I too have the same problem and customer care says they are not aware of this service and thus they are not able to deactivate it.

                          Yesterday evening my SIM Card was active till 9.00p.m. & suddenly it was showing status as Inactive SIM. I am very much surprised that I have taken this new SIM Card while porting my Vodafone Number [protected] in Feb 2011.

                          Now the company want to pay Rs.99/- to activate the number with the purchase of new SIM Card. But it is very costly to pay this much charges to the company to availing new SIM card. Because it is no fault of the consumer bt due to cheap technology they are taking such additional charges from the customers.

To deactivate this service SMS UNSUB Love7 and send it to 53030" I tried to send this message for deactivating this service which I never asked for but the message remained undelivered. This is nothing but cheating. I never asked for this service. I do not know for how long the company is charging me this amount. It is deliberately not reciving the message for deactivation.                                 My phone non [protected] (pre paid) had a cash balance of more than rs. 200/- on 27.5.2011. On 28th May, my balance was reduced to rs.11/- without making any call. I had recharged Rs. 222 on 28th May. My balance was reduced to zero on 28th. Again I recharged with Rs. 50 on28th. Again my balance was reduced to zero. Once again i recharged with Rs. 50 on 29th. I contacted Customer care at Cochin. Their reply was that i had used Internet on my mobile. I have not used Internet on my mobile justifying such huge deduction. I tried to send my complaint through email to customercare. The mail was returned to me saying that the email id of customer care is disabled. i have seen that the customer care of idea cellular is name sake and they dont care about anything else but making money by such unlawful means. I am seriously thinking about discarding my connection with idea and will also discourage my friends in using idea cellular.

                                  Very Recently i switched my mobile number from Aircel to Idea due to poor customer care and no benefit offers in Aircel. The customer care and offers are good in Idea but the network coverage is very poor. Kindly take necessary steps to improve it to retain the customers. I decided to wait another three months. If the network coverage is not improve than will switch to TATA Docomo. Unfortunate that the portability waiting period is Three months.

                                      I have been using my idea cellular number ([protected]) for the past 8 and half years and was one of the first to get an idea connection when the company launched in india. All the connections in my family were converted to idea because of our loyality to them. Recently i haven't been staying n Delhi that often so i keep my idea delhi sim switched off while i am away and i revert back to using the Idea Delhi sim as soon as i am back in delhi... the sim remains off for about 4months at a stretch and this has been the pattern o[censored]sage for almost 4 years now. the phone however always has cash balance and validity in it. But this time,on return to delhi, i found out the my sim wasn't working and the connection had been sold by idea people to someother person without informing me or without my consent. my sim had some 400rs of balance in it and validity till dec2011/jan2012. What i do not understand is why would i buy validity and credit if i did not plan to use it later. and how can the cellphone service provider just terminate my connection and transfer ownership without my knowledge? this has caused a great deal of inconvenience and the idea customer care is definitely of no use on this matter! i plan to file an FIR and a consumer case against Idea Cellular for the same.

                                        The hard copy of last two bills for the month of April and May 2011 of my postpaid mobile number [protected] have not been received till now.so the payment has not deposited & disconnect the services. since the payable amount of mobile bill is reimbursed by the department after submitting the hard copy of bill.therefore you are requested to send the hard copy of bill of above said months immediately.so that your bill could be deposited and the same amount of bill will be reimbursed.

                                        Idea — not sending hard copy bills

                                        we r idea custmer and we have a bill problem always they cannot send us a bill and if we go to the idea center then they r not reacting any thing plz help us answer it immediately
