Hello Kotak,

Based on the below email initiated Phone call to Bhavani, but there is no proper response.

Meet me in the my office between 09 AM-5 PM with prior confirmation on exact timing for further discussion on the below issue

As I already mentioned on repayment, provide your terms and conditions properly (Last Request)

With this note, henceforth don’t assign any customer relationship officers for my account, stop all your unwanted emails and phone calls from the bankers

It’s clearly indicated by Kotak bank, no show or interest in this issue and there is no value for the customers (corporate salary holders)

Further would be lodging complaint as per Banking Ombudsman Scheme

We wish to state that the processing Fees (Service charge Payable) as per the attached sanction letter are 2% of the loan amount + service tax. Hence, we regret our inability to accede with your request for refund of processing fees of 1%.

Further, we request you to kindly share the documentation / acknowledgment received from the bank for waiver of 1% processing fees enabling us to investigate your claim further.

Still in the investigation from the day of escalation 29th of August – 15 Days there is no information and action

I don’t see any importance is given to the customer complaints, but you have processed EMI for the first month perfectly

This was clearly stated before on the repayment of loan amount before the EMI processing

You can spend your timing on resolving the customer queries instead of posting a service call, is only to listen the complaints ?? and not to take any action on that ??

If this seems continual, will be escalated to higher level management upon immediate repayment of complete loan amount before the first month EMI

Wondering on the additional amount of Rs. 742 debited for the loan amount

Could you me the reason of deducting of Rs. 742 and was discussed only on Rs. 6000 on processing fee which will be waived off by Rs. 3000 once the loan amount credited

Can you please provide me the deadline when the waive off on document charge will be done ?

May I know what?s happening with my personal loan

Applied in the month of July 23rd and after a month still there is no information from the bank

There are many issues with your department from the day one

 On the Interest and processing fee, Agreed for 14.75% and 0.5% but same not processed

 Huge delay in the approval of loan amount

 Requested for 36 months EMI and processed for 48 months

 Two times rework on the agreement paper

 Several request on confirmation mails

 Document collect executive is not responding properly and bad service

 Overall Very poor service from the bankers and relationship officers


Would like to cancel the personal loan processing for 3 lakhs, if the total amount is not credited by COB today

No more excuse and discussion, post me back the signed original agreement and my blank cheque to address immediately

Kotak Mahindra Bank — Complain Regarding POOR Quality Service

This is regarding the poor quality service of your Ambala Cantt branch (Haryana).

I request for opening Trinity account on 30th of October and I submitted my entire document and completed the formalities..

My account got activated on around 4th of November and I got my first email regarding conformation of email and mobile number.

Demat account was my main purpose for opening bank account. When my saving bank account was opened, I have been told that, my Trinity account will be opened within a week.

In the meanwhile I was called by bank authorities regarding Kotak Smart Advantage plan and has requested me go for small investment.

When my Trinity account was not opened on time, I visited bank and met with manager. I was again assured and re-submitted my complete documents for Trinity account.

This happened number of times and every week I have been told that, my account will be open within 2 days. I was assured number of times and its have been more than a month, my Demat (Trinity) account is still in pending state.

I got a call from head office Chandigarh regarding conformation of policy and when I told then about the issues that I facing, I was again assured that my Trinity account will be opened shortly.

I even reminder authorities regarding the issue but nothing had happened. I called bank authorities and I never got a call back from them regarding this issue.

I am really feeling unhappy with the miss-management, poor quality and misleading service of your Kotak Mahindra Bank and I want to surrender my account.
i cant agree your attitude with me regarding intrest statement of my car loan cf4304080 for the period of[protected] to[protected].i meet with Mr. Imran Ali Mno.[protected] i visit your agra branch on dt.[protected] but cant response still now.

I hav no rating for Kotak Mahindra if there is any option in negative nos. hn i, ll give. My issue i had apply for personal loan two weeks earlier & submitted all rqrd docs after that they told loan, ll be encashed in three or four days after verification but still iam not get any cash in my account. And daily they told me new story or either loan deptt. person MR. Chanchal (Kotak bank chandigarh 9 sec branch) wants to hear anything or also they rudely behaving with customer so where, ll i go... Money i want one week ago but still i hv doudt whether im gettng any cash r not.


And pls give some training to Mr Chanchal. He loudly asked m who, ll give you my no, instead of any response to my issue. He clearly said this is his junor fault & only ask to him. And deduct my call.

And my salary account is also in that branch.

    I had taken a loan from the Kotak Mahindra Prime with Agreement number CF5576646 for a Maruti Ritz VXi in 2009.
    My loan tenure has been completed and I have emailed the team to complete the closure procedure clearly asking to return the security cheques that were submitted as part of procuring the loan.
    Kotak Mahindra Prime is somehow ignoring my request to send the security cheques back and I perceive this a threat and a possibility of attempting fraud in future.
    I have sent 2 emails asking for the return of cheques along with the NOC and form35 but have still not received the security cheques back.
    The email replies that they send also mention only about dispatch of the NOC and form 35 with no mention of why the cheques are not being sent back

    gud evening sir, myself manish aggarwal and my father name is mr. vinod aggarwal actualy my father had taken the one personal loan from kotak mahindra and he has paid this peronal loan amount and the account also has been closed of this kotak mahindra but the problem is that the cheques which has been paid by my father at the time of security are not refunding if we try to contact from the bank but there is no response from that side and the address of that bank is amba deep building, cannaught place, please cooperate with us and my father name is: vinod aggarwal, contact no. is [protected], and the agreement number is 1140653, date of agreement 28/07/2006...please contact on this above e-mail id thanking you..

        I had taken Kotak Smart Advantage Plan (Policy No. : 01754827 Name Mahesh arora) by seeing Brand Name of Kotak Group by investing monthly 1,000/- since 27/10/2009. But, we are totally frustrated with the behavior and approach of Kotak Life Insurance Company which we have been never seen in our whole life, this kind of responsibilities and irregularities. They are trying to cheat us since 27, Oct 2009 when I purchased this policy.

        At the time of purchasing that policy (Oct, 2009), the sales executive (Mr. Naveen #[protected]) of Kotak had given all wrong information and said that after 3 years, if you want then you can withdraw your policy and get your all invested money with good return (1000 * 36 months=36,000 + Good % of return) (I have purchased this policy due to this feature only which is told by the executive, and I had paid 1,000/- per month since May, 2009 to May, 2012). And after 3 years, I had been called and mailed to Kotak Life Insurance Customer Care he said that your one year invested money will be gone into Kotak Account and it will not given to you, I will get only 2 years invested money with 2% deduction also. I was totally shocked. This is ridiculous. Therefore, I am totally mentally, physically and financially harassed by the Kotak Life Insurance Company and decide to surrender the policy (Policy No: 01754827, Name:Mahesh arora).
        When I said that your sales executive had misguided us regarding the policy and given fake/wrong information then Kotak’s representative said that it is not Kotak’s responsibilities for their sales person/team or executives and you should verify the things. It means there is no accountability and responsibilities of Kotak about their plan and policies and their Sales Executive’s. All the responsibilities and loss paid by the Customer only!!!


        I am in big trouble now I want urgent money for purchasing new flat.

          on 12th december, 2010, I purchased a pizza of worth rs 198 from dominos pizza house, in pune. I started operating the card since 2008 and I duly made the payment of all the outstanding expenses. Infact, I think I'D kept some balance to my credit card account for some future adjustments too (rs 88).

          After purchasing the pizza, I didn't receive any bill to my email address and resulting in missing of payment of that due amount which was rs 110 (this is actually the outstanding amount). After a couple of month, I was sent the first email (autogenerated email from back) to make a payment of rs 2026.79 on 22nd march, 2011. I immediately had spoken to the people mentioned in the email to contact and upon discussion, I'D paid rs 1000 to kotak cards after the discussion with mr arjun garipatti and he confirmed that the payment was received over email. Later on, I asked him also to confirm that my entire outstanding amount is cleared and to confirm that over email, but he never DID that. I tried again reaching all the other recovery managers (srinivas pidaparthi/ Dilip kumar) but till the issue is coming back and forth. They didn't update the amount in their system as a paid amount and recently I opened a savings bank account with kotak mahindra and they debited rs 4533 from my account. I found that while I taken a savings bank account statement from atm box.

          This is something where in spite of repeated follow up from my end with all the recovery /Collection managers at the regions(hyderabad, pune, delhi and mumbai) my case is intentionally been activated by them and they recovered the amount in an illegal way.

          Infact, when I found this is not getting resolved, I logged a complaint to their "complaint redressal" team about 6 months back, till now they couldnt able to come back. They say (mr dilip dabade) that he will call me by eod, but he never gets time to update and my outstanding amount continue to rise.

            On the 24th sep 2012 at 7.06 pm I have tried to withdraw money from New India Co-Op bank ATM located in Andheri East, Mumbai No.400069 using the ATM address: Andheri East, Mumbai No.400069 . I have used my debit card of Kotak Mahindra Bank Debit card No. [protected]. I used the card to withdraw an amount of Rs. 800/- (eight hundred only) two times Rs.400/- each at 7:05pm and 7:06 pm The machine failed to disburse money. On enquiring my bank about the fault in the machine, they informed me that an amount of Rs. 800/- have been debited from account.
            i have to complaint in my Kotak Bank. My bank have give assurance for me to getting back my money in 7 days. but At the last movement my Kotak Bank said to me we do not help me becouse New India Bank said money have withdraw from my Kotak Mahindra Bank Debit Card no. [protected].

            Kindly look into the matter and consider my case and help me to get back the amount of Rs. 800/- debited by New India Co-Op Bank.

                Miss selling complaints complaints was submitted to Kotak Mahindra Old Mutal Life Insurance Grievance Redressal officer Mumbai on 16/09/10.In this regards the agent Mr Devinder approached me on 27/09/10 and assured me that after 3 years definitely I will get min 10% appreciation ie Minimum Rs 5,10,000/- and asked me to withdraw the complaint. I said that I will withdraw it Conditionally.He said sir you believe me definitely you will get min 10% appreciation. On his assurance I withdrawn it Conditionally.So far I have paid 3 premium of Rs.1,50,000x3 = 4,50,000/-.But now When i approached for Redeem The said I Will get only around Rs 4,10,000/-After adjusting their all charges.

                  I am Veejay, opened an account in Kotak Mahindra Bank with home branch Preet Vihar (New Delhi) in 14/12/2009. My account type is saving account. At the time of account opening bank's customer representatives told me it is zero balance account and you will get welcome kit at free of cost. Due to some personnel problem I did not deposit money in my account from long past time. I have Rs. 4441.97 on 20/08/2012 as per bank's email alert but it was Rs. 3,599.27 on 23/08/2012. Rs. 842.70 is cut due to AQB Non Maintenance Charges. If it is zero account balance with saving account then why these kinds of charges applied on my account. These kinds of charges never told by bank's customer representatives. I thought these are the hidden charges imposed by the bank. I mailed to customer service of this bank on 10th sep 2012. They replied that they are looking the matter and try to solve out this problem. But till now no action is taken by the bank. please help me to got my deduct money.

                    Full of agony and severe pain I am writing to you as I have been incurred false demat charges for last 3 years. Though I have submitted my documents twice. Last time I have submitted on 2nd july 2011 at Sakinaka, Mumbai branch(some lady Miss/Mrs Mandal was manager). I got calls from the bank assuring me the refunds. But nothing happened yet.                       myself gaurav goel residing at muzaffarnagar in uttar pradesh.i had applied for marksheet loan of amount Rs.5lac on 06/09/2012in kotak mahindraa finance one day danik jagran newspaper me add aaya sa loan ke liye mene usme diye number par call kiya number was [protected].he.asked me to submit amount of rs.-2550 charge of documents create by lawyer..i deposited in Mr vikram singh a/c no.-[protected] of punjab national bank.a/c on 7/09/2012. After that they told me to send scan copy of marksheet,photo, bank passbookcopy and one id in your email id- [protected]@gmail.com. i send all document in this email id.next day morning they said one message aayega from bank. one message coming that(dear customer your loan has been approved with 5 lakhs,please pay 7000 processing fee to your company regard-YES BANK) that mobile no.([protected]) then call him then he said he amount only bank security yeh return ho gayegi loan ke sath.then mene kaha mere pass only 6000rs. unhone kaha sahi hai then i deposited in same accont vikram singh in punjab national bank.after deposited unhone us din mera koi phone nahi uthaya.next morning phir unhone 8225 rs insurance he kaha.par mene pucha kaise insurance then he said if suddenly your death then amount recieved by insurance then mene only 5500 deposited in hdfc bank of dharmendra accont that said me. after that unhone kaha 10 minute me aapka paisa accont me aagayaed but evening me aa gayega but not. next morning mene kaha me aapka office dekhna chahta hu then he message me apna address(gmd tower,5 th floor near gleria chowk sec 14 gurgaon).then me gurgaon gaya waha koi office nahi sa aur mudhse mile bhi nahi.aur kaha ki orgit wale yahe hue hai.next moringf mudhe kaha aap loan ki sari formalty puri ho kuti hai.aapko m.D. SHAB KE SIGN KE LIYE UNKA EXPENSIVE 2% DENA HAI .MENE 5000 RS PHIR VIKRAM SINGH KE ACCOUNT ME DEPOSITED . KIYE .aur abhi tak 2 din baadf tak mrer account me koi paisa nahi aaya hai mene total 19000 rs ge diye hai plz help me im very poor.plz refund my money or loan

                      kotak Mahindra finance — Not issuing original property docu.

                      I am Jaffer Ali from Virudhunagar, I have approched the subject bank 1 year back for house loan till now i didn't get any positive massage from the bank and 4 manths back i cancelled my application and till now i didn't get my orginal property documents whenever i am asking them they told it is coming from chennai. There was a stupit Mr. Ramamoorthy is working as a manager ( Useless idot) last 4 months repeating the same answer. Please help me to get back my docu. as soon as possible.

                        Dear Sir,
                        policy no.00301325
                        Sub: Fraud and change proposal form
                        I am very disappointed to receive unjustified report for above issue. I want to draw your Kind attention for below mention points to justify my view.
                        1) I am senior citizen and applied a single term policy on dt .21/12/2004 for Rs 1,00,000/- to insure my life and against that i has issued a cheque drawn on uco bank but for some reason my cheque was dishonored. After that kotak people told me to issue banker cheque against that cheque so i made a pay order on dt 17/1/2005 and hand over to kotak people without proposal form, pan card, and balance sheet.
                        2)When I have not received policy through post after 2 months, then i made complaints to customer care and kotka people for inquiry.
                        3) After 4-5 Months I received call from kotak people and inform me to collect the policy from brabourne road branch, Kolkata.
                        4)I reached the branch and collect the policy, after receiving policy document I saw that my proposal form has been change with duplicate proposal form and signature. Immediately i contact branch manger and inform about cheating then manger verify my signature and told me that signature is mismatched with pan card and he will communicate with RO and change the policy from multiple to single term policy.
                        5)As per manager advice i wrote letter for discrepancy in policy and hand over to manger with in 7 days, and he also inform that this policy can not cancel because as per 15 days overlook period is over. He verbally promised me that he will change the policy terms from multiple to single premium.
                        6)That above manger may be suspended or left and new manager told me to direct communicate to Mumbai Customer care and i lodge many complaints over phone and mail id, but my all complaints went to deaf ears.
                        7)I have not submitted any document with proposal form then i think that these all document(Pan Card Xeox, balance sheet, medical check up report)must be change from my old proposal with the help of Kotak Back Office People. The company has kept policy document for 5 months in branch and when they released their commission (app 25%) they inform me to collect policy from branch
                        8) The kotak people never appoint any officer or approach me regarding fraud Because they Knew that their people are involved and they all are suspended for this type if practice, If they appoint any officer and easily recognize the signature difference.
                        9) I had already approach Insurance Ombudsman for justice, but they replied that sale of policy is not covered under RPG rules 1998 and my complaints dismissed.
                        10) This is policy is not issued as per terms condition because Policy proposal form is not signed by me.
                        So I request you to looks in to above points and take signature expert view for false proposal form

                          Have purchased Kotak Smart Advantage Policy ( Proposal No. 01672080 / Clent ID No.[protected] with a condition of one time payment of premium.

                          now, have recd a letter with a cheque of Rs. 4000/- (against my premium of Rs. 40,000/-) stating that policy has been terminated for non renewal of policy.

                          infact i am eligible for refund of Rs. 40000/- with a intrest from the date of policy till to-day.

                          Request to take up with the concern authority and provide me justice please.

                            Deduction of amount without notice.

                            Sir/Ma'am,

                            I had a 'salary' account with Kotak Mahindra Bank. I left the company services around February and withdrew major portion of my account. Only a few hundreds were remaining in my account with Kotak Mahindra Bank.

                            Few days ago, I received an SMS that my account has been deducted with those few hundred rupees. On inquiring I learnt that for maintaining the amount below the minimum balance, a fixed amount needs to be deducted.

                            However, I have accounts in another banks like ICICI and they have never deducted my salary account even though it was below the minimum balance amount. I also learnt from somewhere that 'salary' accounts can operate in zero amount also and nothing can be deducted from that account. Amount can be deducted only with other normal accounts.

                            Plz tell me that what should I do and what are the rules and regulations for the bank set by the Government of India with regard to this? If I file a case then what are the chances that case will be disposed of in my favor?

                              someone named Sajid called me at my residence number[protected] on 28th August 2012 around 4 pm and misbehaved first to my wife and then me...they often call me on this number as we have told them that we dont want any kind of your service. He very rudely behaved and often called between 4 pm to 4:30, so please help us and do the legal process and check our phone details.

                                Sir,
                                At the time of loan executive who was doing loan said if I want loan at low interest rate I.e 12.5% (which was confirmed earlier), you have to pay one advance EMI. After disbursement of loan when I called their customer care they told me that there is no advance EMI updated. But from my HDFC BANK A/C two EMI's already deducted one on KMPL Name & one on another person name by cheques of same amount as of loan EMI & cheque no. Were same which was given to the executive. Sir, please help me out.

                                  This is my Kotak account number :Account No. [protected] & CRN No.[protected]BRANCH -ANNA NAGAR),this account is in my previous salary account but recently i switched to other company without communiaction they are deducted INR 529 for AQB Maintenance from my account now its zero balance.but that time i didnt maintain the amount even i having Zero balance they wont deduct anything.so kindly take this high priority issues then provide the favourable solution for me.

                                    Dear Sir,

                                    I have a account with Kotak Mahindra Bank Nagpur, my CRN number: 12368317, Account number: [protected].

                                    Kotak bank charged me around Rs. 3000 without any notice or details. I have requested them and they told me that it is non maintenance charges. Still without any extra details I paid around 3100 in account and requested for account closure on 10th August 2012 (Service Request Number: SR#1-[protected]). I have taken the follow up after 15 days and my account was still in "Active" status. I called customer care and they said that because of signature verification issue, Nagpur branch has raised another ticket (Service Request Number: SR#1-[protected]) and my account will be closed within 7 days.

                                    After 7 days when I looked into the account again I got Rs. 1123 extra charges. I again called to customer care and they said my closure ticket is pending (Service Request Number: 1-[protected]) and they will forward it to concern department.

                                    I have also attached the net banking images which itself shows back discrepancies.

                                    The Kotak Mahindra Bank is mentally harassing me from last one month or so and I need legal action against this unethical bank.
