Dear Sir/ Madam,

This is to bring your kind attention towards the services provided by MTNL (Dolphin). I had made the online payment for my mobile bill yesterday i.e. 22nd February, 2010. It have been done payment for more than 24 hours but the activation has still not done. I had also checked with the customer care representatives thrice but they are also not providing me satisfactory answer. As per them if the payment made through Credit Card it will take them more than 3 days to resume the services but at the same time other service providers activate the services within 4-6 hours time. I am very much disappointed with the their in cooperative behavior, they are not ready to understand my problem and not listening to me. Due to the delay in activation my official work is also hampering. I won't be able to make the calls. That really making me frustrating, for any important official call I have to go the local PCO and make the calls.

I request you to take a serious action against them.

    Dear Sir,
    I m Sohel from KIFS Borvali branch,my landline no[protected]

    From 15/2/2010, m getting the problem of NSE leaseline,

    I have complained to MTNL but they are not giving the service properly,

    The persons from MTNL asked me to complain to HCL & Hcl person says that ur link is getting flap but we dont hav the LLM service o[censored]r leaseline,so pls contact to MTNL directly.

    From 16/2/10 to 19/2/2010 the link gets flap in between 3.00pm to 3.30pm,

    But at 22/02/2010 the line flaped 5 to 7 times in a day,

    The line-Man from MTNL has camed on 22/02/2010, he change the tag of leaseline & still the same problem occured,"LINK FLAPED"

    The line man came on 2.04pm,he took 1hour to resolved the problem,but after doing all they troubleshoot,the same problem occured on 3.05pm link flap.

    I hav called to fountain mtnl services,they said that the issue will be resolved today,but m not sure,as they said before,

      Respected Sir, Serveral times I contacted to MTNL Trump authorities to resolve to improve the network services in upper Colaba Area i.e. RC Church, Navy Nagar, Mumbai - 5, and after a lapse of 15 days, there is no positive action has yet to be taken. My Trump connections are [protected], [protected], [protected] & [protected]. It is to bring your kind notice that there is a very poor network service available from TRUMP like always network busy, error in connection, cross connection, call drops, otherside no answer but deduction in recovery, incoming and outgoing problems etc. Kindly instruct to MTNL MUMBAI TRUMP SERVICES, to rectify the problems immediately.

      TRUMP SERVICE — LOTS OF CROSS CONNECTION

      SIR,
      I am working in DNA PAPER ACCOUNTS DEPT thus i am using trump card last 6 mths. i am working as cashier so i am in connection with all banks.while making communication sometimes i am facing the problem of cross connection and some person listen our communication regarding cash.
      So it can suffer my life some times.

      mtnl mumbai trump — no service delhi

      i am a trump mumbai customer. I am not getting roaming services in delhi. also there is no free customer care number. delhi mtnl is not providing any help

      Very true. Even though they have towers all over the place, signal strength and voice quality are poor. There are frequent call drops. I read somewhere that this is due to a large number of trees and proximity to the sea. If true, the answer should be more towers and not a hands off attitude cultivated by the customer care department

          My phone number[protected] is not working fine from past 20 days. My telephone line has frequent disturbance due to which I'm not able to access internet. I have called MTNL so many times but they fail to provide a solution and always give me an another number to call and when I call the provided number, they say that this is not the right number to complaint. The customer service is so bad that they say that "what can they do i[censored]r phone is not working fine". A line man has visited our place but still could not rectify the problem. Please advice what shall I do.

            Hello Sir,

            I am having question using MTNL DSL 249 Internet Plan.
            On February 15, 2010, I checked my Download Usage History in Details from the MTNL's web site, that surprised me by making an entry of download of 109.99 MB on Feb. 5, 2010 on 1:59 PM. I was not downloaded anything from the internet. I know that download is counted of the contents downloaded from the web pages like pictures, text, flash, etc. But, the problem is that though I surfed to some specific web pages like Yahoo! Mail Inbox, some search engines, and was disabled Pictures, Videos, Adobe Flash Player Contents, etc., and was not downloaded anything, then what is the cause of this huge download?
            I called to 1504 i.e. the customer care phone number of MTNL. They told me to contact the nearer MTNL Office. I contacted to the MTNL's nearer office, but, they told me that this may be due to switched on position of the modem for some minutes in the day. Is it true? Does they also charge by this method?
            Please help me.

            MTNL Triband — unexpected broadband speed

            From 2 to 3 weeks i m unable to get full speed of 320kbps from mtnl. The current broadband speed i m getting is 120 to 150 kbps. Please help.

                Hi, The MTNL mumbai has unable to provide better service of GPRS on the Cell phones..
                After lots of trials, conversation with Customer Care Executive, complaints, requests The MTNL still haven't activated those services to appropriate Cell phones.
                I am requesting MTNL not to provide such services if they can't handle it, and should stop to make their customer fool.
                I wish, company will improve their services and will not let customer to speak that

                This inform to you that I have been visited mtnl customer service centre bandra office on 13/01/2011 and requested your counter staff to activate email or GPRS service to my nokia 3110 classic model mobile phone .in this subject your customer care staff did not know all the skill to activate and operate the instrument. Then they are connected to one person he was asking me to visit flora fountain office, it is not possible to me travel such long distance again the staff connected on person his office located at BKC complex. He also asked me to visit BKC complex office .Then I came to know your department never trained any person to activate all the skill any one at the customer care center...Because I all ready contacted your call center department several time LAST 3 MONTHS they are saying the will activate the instrument sending me through SMS some file and save it and switch off ABOUT 15 MINUTE then the instrument switch on then after it will be activated. I was done several times and it never working. I am a senior citizen 65 plus age having angioplasty done last year. And my health not permitting to go this entire place to activate my hand sets.



                Now I am waiting for the golden day 20th January 2011 when number port ably will announce then 2 nd day I will go to private telecoms providers shop located at hill road bandra to activate my hand sets within 5 minutes with out any trouble.because your department creating lots of trouble to the existing customer.



                This letter I am writing to you may your department in the near future train some staff and appoint in the customer care center the person must be experienced and MTNL will gets more clients for the new and latest technologies introduced.

                Similar experience is mine. Although MTNL activated my GPRS (unlimited), still they are charging me extra amount for data charges every month, apart from the monthly rental o[censored]nlimited plan. Several complaints to helpline (1503), or personally visiting customer service centre at chembur didn't yield any result. All the time they are telling to meet accounts officer ar BKC, whose mobile is always switched off, and landline always busy/out of order. This is happening for about past 8 months. I will say that how private companies are providing better services with lesser staff, and lesser ground space. This shows the lack of committment on part of MTNL management.

                  I have been trying to use the broadband services of MTNL mumbai but have never been able to use beyond few minutes. The PPOE light of my GLB-502T modem goes off. I have to switch off the modem and restart to be able to use the so called high-speed triband connection. This exercise I have to keep doing. Several personal visits to MTNL Mulund(W) Exchg. have only brought assurances from Mr Vaidyanathan. The only so called help given by him was to send 2 jokers (line-men I believe) who kept arguing what needs to be done, told me to purchase 2 splitters and 3 two metre wires with connectors, which I did and when brought were not utilised, they made their own connections and have made things go from bad to worse.

                    I am a subscriber of MTNL Landline and Broadband Service with my tel No.[protected]. Most of the time my phone is not working properly (Disturbence and No Connectivity of Broadband), inspite of several complaints, the concerned authorities do not take any permanent solution. They have just temporary solutions which works for a day or two.

                      Dear Sir/Ma'am,

                      My mother holds an MTNL connection[protected]. This is with regards to MTNL Mumbai broadband connection. I had given a request to change my plan on 26th Jan 2010 from Combo 249 to Unlimited download 749 w.e.f 1st Feb 2010.

                      I received a docket number from the Customer care center T[protected] and a confirmation on 2nd Feb 2010 that my plan has been changed to 749 unlimited download w.e.f 1st Feb 2010. However, today (11th Feb 2010) when I called on 1500 the lady who answered the phone had informed me that the plan will be changed from 1st March and my unbilled amount has reached upto Rs6000/-.

                      I have already given written complaint to Mr Vaidhyanathan from Mulund West's office about high bill for Jan and Feb 2010 even though my usage is low.

                      I sincerely request you to kindly look into the matter at the earliest.

                          sir,
                          my mobile (handset motorola L-7,cell no: [protected]) was stolen on 12th january,2009 at around 10 am. i gave a request to MTNL at 4:30 pm to block my SIM card(request no:R[protected] and according to their database my SIM was blocked at 5:15 pm. subsequently i registered an FIR with the police. when i again went to MTNL to reactivate my SIM, i was surprised to find that my balance which was Rs 550(at the time when phone was stolen) was reduced to just Rs 130. when i asked the customer care executive about this, (request no:R[protected] he gave me the following call details:
                          at 5:34 pm (after my SIM was blocked) one call on the no:[protected] was made which lasted for 2817 seconds and Rs 432.40 was deducted from my account

                          sir, i want to ask that how could this be possible that when i have given my request at 4:30 pm, a call can be made from that no. after one hour. moreover this no. seems to be an international no. (possibly the cell no. of saudi arabia)

                          i would like to complain to you that because of the negligence on the part of MTNL i have incurred a loss of more than Rs 400. moreover since the number is an international no. i am mentally stressed because possilbly somebody can use this no. for wrong reasons.

                          so please help me and suggest the future course of action.

                            i am getting problem in my broadband connection since i take the internet connection as on Oct'09.it is not working properly.The speed is too slow. as per the plan Trib_UL_DATA_256_COMBO ( i.e- Broadband plan-599 unlimited) my speed should be upto 256 kbps, which is not delivered to me.I have regulary registered the complaint at 1504 but they only gave assistance that action should be taken from their side. i complaint about it many times but no action had been taken till now. I am still suffing form the same problem.

                            I have mailled many complains to [protected]@bol.net.in but no response i got in return. I personally visited to MTNL distric centre they given me only assurance only no solution. Now at last my problem is before you. request u to give your attention towards my problem.

                            MTNL Broadband — bad connectivity

                            sir i have been using mtnl broadband connection for the last ten months but yet i have not been satisfied by the service they are providing.almost every day i have to register a complaint for bad connectivity.speed is too slow and regularly disconnects.even calling to to 1504 is of no help.no action has been taken yet.every time they assure me to send a line man who never comes.

                            My ADSL is not stable form last one month and my complaint NO. 1173 on 23/03/2010 but their is no responce from your side. Please solve my problem

                              I have this MTNL Triband connection with a landline having number [protected]. When we check their official site, their downloading speed is promised to be 256 kbps while the one we're being offered is merely 30 kbps.
                              Their connectivity is just pathetic and often the accessibility is interrupted.
                              I don't know if this is what they have got to offer. If yes then why fool us???
                              Why not say the reality so that we consider other option beforehand. I am paying Rs 649 per month for the internet and am not satisfied with the services at all..
                              Kindly look into trhe matter as soon as possible.

                                I was asked to submit Life certification in the month of November 2009 which was duly submitted as per their directions. But I have not recieved pension of Dec. 2009 till yet i.e. 02.02.2010. I was told by the bank to visit your office. I therefore, request you to kindly release my pension for the month of Dec. 2009 or Jan 2010. PF A/c no. DL/8444/165, P.P.O. no. DL/CPM/31037.

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  I am user of MTNL Broad band, I am facing problem form January 28, 2010, I log a complaint at 1504 MTNL number, the complaint number is 64800004, my request for internet not working since 28 january 2010. Person come to check for my internet and said take modem to recify the problem at the near sanchar hut.

                                  My request is when MTNL charging for maintains charges every month. How can they ask to take modem to sanchar hut for repair. One important thing is engineer how come to attend the call he always say I don't have tools to repair it, check than why he came for ?

                                  Site engineer only killing money and time of MTNL.

                                  As a user of MTNL broad band. One thing I know every few people are working for MTNL.

                                  I had word with my area manager of Mr. D.K.Singh from batra exchange on saturday. He said I don't have proper man power, you carry the modem as well as the adapter in my office I will do change it. Otherwise I would be done on Monday. Monday is over now. My problem is still Pending.

                                  Now Same reply as an area manager given to me, I can go there and collect it somehow when I am paying for every month to MTNL for my on side service than how can i off site.

                                  Please have look this and try to resolve these kind of issue, there are much more things to do have MTNL.

                                    Madam/Sir,
                                    I am holder of broadband connection on my telephone no. 22597709 as per plan Rs. 599/-p.m. The present speed of Net is in between 45-75 kbps which is too slow as result a lot of difficulties are being faced by me. I have already made four complaints no. 3173, 1704, 9903 & 5886 with your office but no action has been taken by your good office till date. It is once again requested that kindly check it and get the needful done at the earliest.

                                    MTnl Triband 599 unlimited is a 256Kbps Unlimited plan i.e. it provides download and upload speeds of 256Kbps which would provide you maximum of 32KBps downloads and uploads.

                                    Please note this is a misconception among many people.

                                    "Kbps" is different from "KBps".

                                    Kbps is Kilobitspersecond and

                                    KBps is Kilobytespersecond.

                                    To know ur speed in KBps divide the speed provided by MTNL(or any ISP) by 8.
                                    It seems that MTNL has reduced its speed to fetch more money as users will upgrade their connections to higher speed plans. You know business tactics.

                                    Hi, I just 2 days back got the Unlimited 599 plan, and even i am facing the same problen i.e. poor download speed. Speed is ranging from 17-19 kbps.. I have tried calling at the helpline but it always keeps faling on deaf ears. I am really stuck with a plan which I cannot do anything wth. I tried calling the 1504 helpline today in the eve. I was told that there is a server problem since 2-3 days.. and reading the earlier comments posted I fell that the problem of poor speed is an on going thing. Wot should I do now..? Please Help.. My Number is 28362594.
                                    My ADSL and Dolphin both the connections are pain in the .
                                    The Officers are not concerned at all.

                                    Internet not functioning

                                    Internet not working for the last three days. Have been just receiving calls from MTNL whether the internet is working but nobody is willing to come to residence and check the problem. Complaint No.1485.
