hi

I have been trying to contact your call center @ 1503 for the last 2 weeks, but am unable to register my complaint as the call keeps getting disconnected due to some technical flaw in your call center.

My SIM has been locked and I get the message INPUT SIM PUK. please provide me with my PUK number. My details are as below:

    hi sir,
    i m neeraj bhalla from delhi, i have a dolphin postpaid connection of mtnl. my outgoing was barred on 16th nov because of non payment of bill. on 17th nov i had submitted this payment online through credit card. i got message from my bank that your payment recieved by mtnl for rs 1135. Then i called mtnl customer care and they told me your outgoing will be unbarred after 7 days. i need to know if they recieved all payments then why it is taking 1 week to unbarred my outgoing.

      Dear Sir/ Madam,

      This is with regards to the captioned subject.

      I am writing this mail to complain against MTNL mumbai for not being able to
      rectify my landline number[protected] inspite of regular follow ups from the last 25 days.
      My complaint numbers are 4393, 7480, 7484 and 8644.

      I have been misleaded all these days by their customer reresentatives at the
      call centres. I have also formally communicated this to them through email
      aswell on their helpdesk, however there is no response.

      I herewith request you to do the needful.

      My number is 21711042, since September 2020 landline phone is not working, it belongs to my father who's senior citizen, but shameless mtnl they're changing us bills for deadline, they're looters, I have complaint online, through mail, in charai telephone exchange, in pokran asher building exchange, but till today they're not doing their job, they have not started telephone line but shameless people they're charging bills, looters, the officer incharge in asher exchange thane, is always missing from office, they take free salaries of no working, pathetic

        SUB: complaint of incorrect billing amount.
        Bringing to your notice the following matter, I Shailesh J. Zaveri received (on 24/10/09) a bill from MTNL, amounting to INR 20873.00. for the period 01/09/2009 to 30/09/2009. Out of this broadband usage charges are 17688. This amount is obviously exuberant & incorrect in nature.
        We took up this matter & visited KING CIRCLE MTNL office. They did not respond to the complaint & asked us to visit MTNL WADALA & meet Smt. S.R.Alwa, CAO(TR). We then visited MTNL Wadala. This certain Smt. Alwa was not present at the Wadala office & so we were directed to meet Mr. Sunderrajan.
        We gave him the bill details of the past 8 months & asked him to look into the matter. He ridiculed us, as to why? did we take the complaint to him & that these matters are not his “Problems”, and further asked us to visit Mrs. Saraswati at SION MTNL.
        As directed by Mr. Sunderrajan we visited MTNL SION. There we met Mrs. Saraswati & provided the details to her too. She checked our online account for the past few days of the month & concluded that it might be a “computational error”. The records on Mrs. Saraswati’s pc showed that we had logged into net usage only during night time. We use the internet only during night time i.e: after 00:00 hrs to 7:00 hrs. the scheme that we are under is DSL NU 849 (Night Unlimited). This was subsequently explained to Mrs. Saraswati. So, she took our complaint letter & it was acknowledge by K.M.SAPLE. Sub.Div.Engineer.
        We were told that they would get back to us within 10 days. 22 days later we have received no feedback from MTNL. After all the confusion created by MTNL, they had the audacity to send us the next months bill amounting to INR 17570. for the period 01/10/209 to 31/10/2009. This month we deliberately did not use the internet to check the fault. And even though there is no usage, we have been charged 17170.
        Two months back, MTNL lines in the sion area were closed (DEAD) for a period of 22 days. Even though there was no connection we were asked to pay the full monthly bill of MTNL. After those 22 days when the MTNL phone lines were finally restored. They (MTNL) left the junction box in the building in a very bad state. The wires are hanging out in a state of complete mess, & the dug up area in the building was left as it is & not restored to its original state.
        MTNL has been completely ignorant of these issues & are not helping us to resolve mistakes that they are making.
        It is absolutely useless to run around from one MTNL office to another, trying to resolve these issues. MTNL employees like Mr. Sunderrajan are completely uninterested in customer problems & issues. They act & work according to their own whims & fancies. They are least bothered about the services they offer. Not one of the above mentioned employee knew the structure of these Triband service plans.
        MTNL has truly become a hopeless & wasteful organization. It has no means of proper communications, outside or within the department. The employees working there are a bunch o[censored]ninformed, slow, rude, incompetent & malicious beings.

          I have got a MTNL phone in my name for internet purpose last month only, i booked an unlimited plan at the time of booking, they agree to give the same, but when i received the bill they have charged me Rs. 46,210, they have given me a limited plan, now i went to their office but didnt get any appropriate response from them, they told me to come again, should i go to my office or keep going to MTNL, its really pathetic..

          Really MTNl guys r the worst Guys..

          Dear sir,
          My landline no. is 22431788. Myself Rajesh Bhatia. I had applied for MTNL broadband connection on 18.09.2010 but the executive came and collected an amount if Rs.550/- in cash and given me a receipt of Rs.500/- only. On being asked, he replied that he had taken Rs.50/- for modem charges. I had approached Mr. Pandey, SDO, Geeta Colony Exchange and he informed me that due to Commonwealth Games, the modems are not available. Later on, I had purchased my own Modem and given a letter as well as copy of the bill of modem purchased by me. On 24.10.2010 a person from MTNL for installation of modem came and asked me that my computer is faulty. I called the software engineer who reloaded the Windows and again on 26.10.2010 I contacted MTNL Exchange and on the same day your executive visited and installed modem but, in the meantime I had received a bill for Rs.572/- and one more bill for Rs.201/-. I want to ask your goodself when I had not used the internet, why I should pay these bills. My consumer no. is [protected].
          Kindly do the needful at the earliest possible convenience.

              the above said no was connected in october 2009 with simple telephone set . the lineman promised to change the set with clip facility on 01/11/2009 as the same was requested at the time of applying for the connection.kindly change the set as promised.

              Same complaint was submitted with your email id helpdesk.[protected]@bol.net.in on 05/11/2009 but no action has been taken at your end. requesting an early solution to the problem.

                    Since FEB'09, i have been getting slow speeds and continuous disconnections on my earlier plan 590NU and latest upgraded one 849NU. MTNL people have come to my place to test my CPE and line and told me to do various tests like changing the PHONE, FILTER, ROUTER, PC, ETHERNET CARD etc which i have done readily and they themselves have done it at my place. Finally their DE and other people have confirmed that its a line problem though the parameters at their exchange show OK. They themselves have said its Strange! I dont think they want to take BMC permission and dig and change the old cable lines or atleast pinpoint the fault on the cable as i have found these people to just warming their seats and lazy and technically incompetent when it comes to broadband fault finding.

                    I have told them that its a line fault as i have also worked for an ISP BTInternet and technically very sound regarding Broadband wireless and networking. The cable which comes from MTNL, Marol to my area, gets split to different buildings and colonies. Their Broadband seems to be ok, but the line which diverts into my colony is an old line and the fault lies there itself. The SNR is as low as 5-6dB (ideally should be 20dB) and the Attenuation is as high as 38dB (ideally should be less than 30dB), which itself indicates that its a line problem.

                    i have not been able to get a proper constant connection and I have been paying MTNL for a service, which i am not receiving. A couple of times i have had to re-download a file multiple times as the Broadband gets disconnected again and again. I have filed a complaint with MTNL and asked for a rebate.

                    Right now my router is On and the ADSL light keeps disconnecting. Please help!

                      Sir,

                      I was using a MTNL landline number 22712987 in the name of Smt Rekha Gupta.My last billing plan was Rs. 99 per month. One day I saw a aid in a news paper for Broadband use at present number. I booked a broadband connection on my landline and according to customer care within 8 days the service would be provided to my number. But no broadband service was activate. after that I met with Mr. Gupta (SDO MTNL) Mayur Vihar Phase-I, Delhi. He said that MTNL is not providing broadband service in our Area. After that I was received a bill including charges of Rs. 249 monthly rental in place of Rs.99 monthly rental. Then i visit at Sachar Hut Mayur Vihar Phase - I. They told to me that this time Rs. 99 monthly rental plan is not available so we can not provide this plan this time and you also changed your Plan. In this case there was not my fault because I request of plan change for broadband service.

                      After getting this answer from Sanchar Hut I went to met with General Manager MTNL Preet Vihar Delhi at 18th August 2009. But the clerk said that this matter is not required to disturbed GM so please give your complain in written application.

                      My First complaint no. 984321 on 18 AGUEST 2009 G.M.office at preet vihar delhi.

                      I have not received any certified copy from that office, I only received a Post received stamp on my xerox copy.

                      Please do the needful at earliest. I am getting harrassed from MTNL.

                            Respected sir,
                            i am getting problem in my broadband connection from starting,when i take the internet connection .it doesnt work properly at any time and the speed is too slow that it takes about 1 min to open a site.,but according to my connection( i.e- Broadband plan-599 unlimited) my speed is upto 256 kbps,which is not delivered to me.I have regulary registered the complaint at 1504 but they only gave assistance that action should be taken from their side.When i didnt got any positive response of my complaints then i personaly approached my areas Line man, Compuer engineer,SDO,Area manager as well.I personaly went to there places and told them about my problem but they dint took any corrective measures till now and they are not even picking up the call now.i am facing this problem for past 7 months.i am only getting sprrd of 4 kb/sec that is negligible.

                            I am writing this mail because noone is responding against my complaints.I request u to give your attention towards my problem and solved it out.

                            I have Moblie connetion No. [protected]. I recharged from this No. top amount for Rs. 500, for which I am supposed to get Rs. 650 talk time. The Sr. No. of the coupon is [protected]. The recharge was done by pressing *400#... at 9.30 am on 4.11.09. The recharge amount of Rs. 650 has not been credited in my Mobile No. I talked to the Customer Service, and I was informed that this amount has been credited on Mobile No. [protected] in the name of Mr. Shravan Kumar. I have not understood when I loaded the recharge coupon from my Mobile No, how the amount has credited in another's No. On my several requests to Customer care not one able to sort out the problem, Am I at fault, or TRUMP?
                            Plz. suggest how the things can be sorted out. I have the coupon with me, which can be verified by the officials.

                              Dear Sir,

                              I have been using MTNL triband for some time now. On 30th October 2009, I had given a request to change my tariff plan to the new festive offer of Rs.749 unlimited plan to their customer service. I was issued a booking no. F6030656 for the same date. Subsequently, I have a received confirmation call from their side confirming my booking and was told the scheme would take effect on 1st November 2009 as their schemes are changed on the 1st of every month.
                              I have been using the broadband connection liberally since I have subscribed to the unlimited plan.
                              I have been checking the website where my tariff plans are mentioned for my number.
                              Since the website did not reflect the change, I have called them on the 2nd November 2009 and I was informed that since 1st and 2nd were holidays the updation would happen only on the 3rd November.
                              Again on third i have checked and no changes were made.
                              I have called today in the morning and was surprised to be told that the booking no. given to me does not exist.
                              Since I have subscribed to this plan have been making using of the said connection for the last 3 days.
                              If the scheme is not changed from there end, I would end up paying more than 7000 Rupees only for three days which would normally be Rs.750 for the whole month.
                              I am requesting you to please follow up the same.
                              I have also given a complaint to cccore.in regarding the same and your help would be highly appreciated.

                              MTNL — High Tariff

                              MTNL-Mumbai has not revised plans and tariffs since the introduction of Triband service i.e. since 2005. Reliance and other competitors of MTNL are providing broadband at very less price. Even MTNL-Delhi has done it. Why MTNL is not thinking of reducing the tariff ?
                              Reliance offers a broadband plan @Rs.299 per month which contains 1 GB of download limit and includes ADSL rent, whereas Mtnl charges Rs. 599 per month + ADSL router rent for 1 GB.
                              MTNL has recently revised unlimited plans and its tariff is way to huge than other competitors like Tata Indicom and Airtel. eg. Tata Indicom charges Rs.1000 for 256kbps unlimited connection, Airtel charges Rs.999 for 256kbps unlimited connection, whereas MTNL charges Rs.2500 for the same speed connection!!
                              Does TRI or some kind of internet billing govt. company has a control over the pricing?

                              So as a consumer I hereby request you to look into the matter.

                                      This is regarded as highly unprofessional and unethical behaviour of MTNL that it charges excess billing. Iam using Dolphin Post Paid connection for quite some time and to my surprise - last month the bill was huge.
                                      Total outstanding bill amount is Rs 1853/- which is huge.
                                      Firstly, The excess amount charged is towards GPRS (Internet usage).
                                      When I called customer care and enquired - they told me that GPRS is not activated ob your phone but data usage is showing. Also, I have never requested for GPRS activation.

                                      Secondaly, my credit limit is Rs 1500/- per month maximum - how come the bill is generated beyond the limit.

                                      Thirdly, STD is not activated on my but still STD numbers are billed on my number.

                                      I have sent several email and also one fax to MTNL but still no response.

                                      Please advise what to do next???

                                      Secondly, STD is not activated on my phone

                                      I want to disconnect GPRS in Customer care but still no response. Done by me request of 11/12/09 1.30PM in Customer care afternoon day.

                                      Please advise what to do next???

I am sorry to adress you in this fashion as got tired dialling 198 and regestering the complain every time.Even to register this mail i waited for good 2(Two) hours to retains the connectivity.
