Hello every body, Attention Please!

Nobody should purchased the Philips TV Products. I specially know about the TV Products. His service charge is too expensive.
When my Flat 29" TV created some problem. His executive's service charge Rs. 560/- without any changes on it + Product's Replacement charge.
Can you imagine is this reliable to customer? Of course not. If any any body comes to see the problem of your product then nobody can pay Rs.560.00 .

    Worst customer service I have ever faced with any products. When it comes to customer service, I would claim Philips as little above than platform Chinese models.

    TV Model is 34/PT9421. Excellent TV till the problem started. I reported the problem, that picture tube doesn't start and no picture.

    Problem was reported on 7th August 2010 and a person arrived after 3 days, incompetent and could not diagnose and said he would come back. No one showed up and the complaint number was closed. One more complaint after a couple of days, and almost I called every day, the India customer service number, don't know how to track with the same cutomer complaint number and the create new one every time.

    So today is 27th August, no response by any one.

    The service center they assigned me in Chennai, Adyar, Clarity electronics, is a trash. No one responds correctly, for them next day means for ever.

    Made up my mind, not even a single product next will be philips. Useless after sales service

      We are sorry to complaint after a long waiting all cheating promises made by your call center as well as service center we purchase our L.C.D on 8/2/2009 your product was fail & send to your service center on 18/5/2010 and for these repairing we are paid RS.4080.00 but unfortunately after 2 month your product poor quality failer seems and once again we send to the same service center after 13 days we recevice a call from the service center that L.C.D t.v is not repairable and they ask for bargaing that you pay RS.6500.00 & get the portable t.v as exchange offer.
      IF YOU FIND OUT THE COMPLAINT REPORT THAT.
      1. PHILIPS IS THE NAME OF FROUD/CHEATER & A HOPE LESS PRODUCT COMPANY THEY ARE CHEATING A COMMAN MAN.
      2.HOW FOR IT IS JUSTIFY THAT A ONE WHO PURCHASE THE ITEM A SPENT A LOT OF MONEY & WAIT FOR A LONG TIME FROM COMPANYS RESPONCE.

        I have bought phillips ambi theatre HTS 6200 and their is no sound output. This is under warranty and i had given no of complaints to Philips customer care and there is no use or reply. My complaint no is 398009. My first complaint was lodged in 1st week of Aug and now it is 23 Aug, everyday they are telling we are a call back and the service center will call you back. Really frustrated and need help.

          I have given my Philips audio/video/radio set (Model No. FWD872/98, Prod. Reg. ID: [protected]) to the authorized service centre (Vijay Electronics, Thekkumoodu Jn., Trivandrum) on 22nd of last month (July) for repair. I visited the service centre 5 times now and called them nearly 20 times. They are not giving proper response and they are just postponing saying that the IC unit is gone, motherboard is gone, that they have not got the spare parts, etc, etc. I doubt whether they have yet identified the problem. They tell that they will repar and give the set the following week. But the next week the same old story that this is not working, that is not working, give one more weeks time, etc. It is one month since I have given the set for repair. Today also I contacted the technician and he said that he will give the set after repar next Saturday. This is the worst customer care by Philips. I have given the technician one more last chance to give the set next Saturday.

          We brought a PHILIPS DVD Mini Hi-Fi System (FWD 576) On June 4, 2006 at Tirumala Music Center, at Hyderabad for Rs22, 300/-.
          It has been working so well until recently (July 2010) when the system displayed “No Disc” error and unabled to play the disc.
          We gave the system at “Clarity Electronics Services” (Adyar, Authorised PHILIPS Service Center in Chennai (13, 2nd Main Road, Kasturbai Nagar, Adyar, Chennai-20).
          When enquired about the system problem and we were informed that 1200CDM Flex foil S-Motor has been replaced and was charged Rs.3300/- (work order No: 9581 and Bill No: OD 6040 dated July27, 2010) though nothing was mentioned in the bill. We were also mentioned that the warranty period is only one month.
          After we brought the system home by paying Rs.3300/- we found that sometimes the disc gets stuck while playing and on some occasions it skips few tracks, so we again took it to the above service center on July 31, 2010 and the problem mentioned in the work order No: 0377 is “CD struck problem”.

          On repeated phone enquiries we were informed that the system is not ready and required software updation and today they informed that the system id ready and we have to pay around 500 rupees as some spares are being replaced (as the system was with the service center from July 31, 2010 to till date).
          it's my personal experience that all the product you buy will last just after the warranty expires. I had three products Television, Home theatre and SP050 5.1 channels in all three products i found that problem occured within one year of expiry of warranty. anyhow these products got repaired but were again had problem within nine months. So i feel that they earn more money from repairing centre than selling a product.
          In case of SP050 i faced so much problem that i have decided to never buy a product of Philips. In the case i lodged a complained to service centre and they sent the mechanic within three days and he asked to pay hindred rupeed and gone saying that he will come after one week with the part to e replaced. He gone but not came till now. I contacted several time to service centre and every time they say that " you have to wait for one week as part has not came to service centre. After every 7 to 8 days they say the same thing. Recently after a long conversation i lodged complained directly to customer care but they closed the call after discussing with their service centre. when i asked on 01st feb 2011 calling service centre they told that call is closed as service centre had confirmed that they have contacted me and product has got repaired. When i told that you should close a call by getting assurance from customer the person ask me to note down new complain no and follow up again.

          I am fed up with Philips service centre and customer care persons.

          SO NEVER BUY A PHILIPS PRODUCT !!! IF YOU WANT TO BE RELAXED AFTER PURCHASING A PRODUCT
          yes i am having the same problem, i purchased and extended warranty for my LCD TV, iv call Phillips and their Audio Video Repair center 3 times and have got the same BS story each time. They have came out to my home for about 4 minutes, looked at the TV for about a minute and since the problem wasn't occurring during the minute he looked at it he said to call them back when it happens again. I tried explaining to him that the problem with the picture does not happen on command, it does it when it does it. So purchasing and extended warranty i figured they would take the TV in to be looked at for more then a minute by a guy that didn't look like he finished grade school, but no, they said if the problem doesn't happen when they are there, there's nothing they can do about it. I called in to speak with a manager and he gave me an attitude and when i asked a question, he responded but with a tone that was like, yeh . Terrible customer service and the warranty Phillips offers is a scam and a rip off, even the extended warranty, which i have. Please save your self the aggravation & DO NOT BUT A PHILLIPS PRODUCT OF ANY KIND., TRUST ME!!!
          My Philips hifi audio player is not working..
          It is powering on but all the buttons are irresponsive. Given for service at Philip's authorized service center at PMG trivandrum.
          They kept it for more than 2 months in their custody, saying the parts is not available.They are least bothered and interested to check this.
          Please advise where can I get this repaired.
          This is an awesome product..my mind is not allowing me to get rid of it

            I have given my Philips TV to the authorized service centre on 19th of last month after a technician inspecting the TV at my house. I visited the service centre 5 times now and called them 20 times they are not giving proper response. They have not even identified what is the problem after 20 days. This is the worst customer care by Philips. I have so many Philips products at home, now I regret for that. I will never ever buy Philips products for lifetime and I will also try to spread this message to anyone and everyone I know.

            I too agree with the worst service I have faced in Garia Service Centre, Kolkata. My musice system was not repaired even after 20 days and also no comuunication was made. After asking about the same I was replied that the board is not available and there is no chance to repair the same.

            Today, I have taken my Music system back. I have also find my CD lense cover was changed. I feel that my CD lens was replaced with the other one. This is a cheating by such a reputed company service centre.
            I totally agree, seems like worst service situation is every where in India. I purchased a Philips shaver in April, which stopped working on May, gave the product for repair to service center in Delhi. and it has been more than a Month now.. but still no response from them. Each time you call, they will hand up or give some excuse. I am not going to use Philips more any more. and would recommend the same to everyone, As what is the use to having a product, if company can provide satisfying service.

              I had given my SP 090 5.1 Home theatre System for service in Mastercare electronics.They took 1 and a half months,still they told its not yet ready and will call me back if it is ready.I went there the next day,they made me wait more than 1 hour and gave me the product.But they HAD DAMAGED the WOODEN CASE and told me that they would replace it for me in 1 week. 2 weeks have passed,they SAY that there is no Stock in the Kochi for this part.Till now IT's not replaced

              i purchased a home theatre system 1 year ago . i kept it unopened and when opened it it was not working properly . i called the phillips people , they came to see the problem . they asked me to get the lens replaced . I payed rs 2500 and got the lens changed . and now it is again giving problem.i again called them and they again said get it replaced for 2500. this is highly irresponsible on the part of philips . such a reputed company and giving trouble to their customers. this is highly irresponsible and very bad. i would like to get my problem solved as soon as possible or this system is going to consumer forum.

                I own a FW D790 DVD mini hi-fi system bought about three years ago. When I bought this set the first thing I asked was about service availability. I was assured that there were several Philips Service Centers in the city and that all I had to do was to make a call and my system would be attended to by the most experienced hands.
                I have now realized the hard way and after much tribulation that promises of Philips’ service availabilities are only selling gimmicks. I buy my electronic goods only after ensuring that the after sales services are dependable. But Philips has not lived up to its reputation. Each time I have had a problem with my set I have had to run from pillar to post to get it rectified. Never has it been rectified on a single call. The first stumbling blocks are the service centres themselves which never answer calls and even if they do they never inquire where or who the caller is, but hang up the phone surreptitiously saying “wrong number”. This is very much the case with the Adyar service center. And finally when I get through after much straining of fingers, I am asked to bring the set to the centre. I am 62, and I certainly cannot balance my large set and drive my two-wheeler at the same time. When I tell them my situation they promise to send someone but no one ever turns up.
                The last time I had a problem about a year and half ago I had to make calls to every name I could find on the internet and finally get them to look at my set. This time I made my first call on the 2nd of July 2010 to the toll free number since the Adyar number was unreachable. I was told that someone would be around to service my set in two days time. But no one turned up. On the 6th of July I called up the toll free number again and I was told that someone would be around the next day. When no one turned up I called up the Adyar service centre after much effort and got through them. They initially asked me to bring the set around to the service centre. When I explained my inability they said they would send someone around. But no one came. So on the 8th I called up the toll free number again and they told me that they would send a message to their senior officer and assured me that the officer would speak to me. No one spoke. Today I called up the toll free number again around 12 and they told me that they would send someone in an hour. It is 4 hours since then.
                The upshot of all these is that there is no point in buying “Philips” products where after sales service is not only nil but also traumatic. I have other electronic items of other companies where the service is prompt.
                PLEASE DON’T BUY PHILIPS PRODUCTS

                  This is to highlight poor service and ripping of customers byPhilips India for known issues in their product

                  I have had the TV model: 42PFL9532 for about an year. The issue is blank screen with sound.

                  Now this had happened once I paid about Rs 7500 for repairs and service once and then issue reoccurs within three months of repair.

                  Philips India says that the parts and service are covered only for one month after the service which is really very sad as this seems to be a known issue with the TV

                  I have had logged the complaints with phillips and there has been no response for about 4 days now.

                  This is sad in todays world when we hear of so many recalls due to faulty products Philips India continues to ignore the plight of its customers

                    I was a very big fan of PHILIPS products before this worst experience happened to me. Most of my electronics products are from Philips including LCD TV and Home Theater. I bought my Home theater Philips HTS 3265 on August 2008 for Rs 13000. I have been using it for almost 2 years and it got complaint due to voltage Fluctuations. I rushed to my nearest Philips Authorized Service center,Kottayam and given it for repair on May 10th, 2010. They checked it and said 2 Amplifier IC's got complaint and they need to replace it. I asked for the rate of repairing and they said approximately Rs 2300(Including Service charge) .Even though the repairing charge is too high, i said OK as i need to get it repaired. Now, It is nearing 2 months. I haven't get my Product Repaired.I called their customer care people 8 times. I chatted with them. I mailed them many times. But didn't get any proper answer from them. When i call the Kottayam Service center, they are saying they have requested for 2 Amplifier IC to Philips India, but they have not received it. Many deadline dates said by customer care and service center have passed. Last week, Kottayam service center people called me and said that they got 1 Amplifier IC from Philips and again they need the 2nd amplifier IC. As a customer, i am really irritated by their service. Does it means that if any complaint happens to any Philips product, we should buy another one instead of that? They are not telling even a date which they can provide the needed spare to the service center and give my Product. So i decided ,not to buy any Philips product. They are really irresponsible.They won't call you back even if they say , "sir, you can expect our call regarding this matter between 1pm & 2 pm". I have heard so many deadlines from them but no response after that. Actually i am really confused what to do in this matter.I really regret for choosing Philips ahead of Sony which is available just Rs 1500 more than this. They won't care for an ordinary customer like me .

                    DVD + Home theatre Philips — Poor after sell servicing

                    I want to lodge my complaints regarding indifferent & rude attitude of your reliance freash, ratu road, ranchi outlet, Mr. Rajesh Kumar Sharma. I have purchade Philips DVD + Home Theatre combo during Dipawali offfer. Unfortunately it is not working properly.I have complained several times but Rajesh is ignoring everytime. According to him my staff home delivered the product and connected the item that's all we cannot do anythin further. Please look into the matter. I am feeling like harashed.

                    Anticipating earliest attention.
                    Hey man I am also suffering the same thing...I purchased HT 3568 two months back, I observed a problem in the subwoofer (some kind of noise) right at the beginning.

                    I launched a complaint on 1st June 2010, technician visitied, he reduced the decibel levels of Subwoofer (killing the home theatre effect) and reported as the complaint has been solved.

                    Again I have to launch the complaint for the same reason. On 26th June same technician said that there was some problem. He took home theatre DVD player to Service center. But nobody has reverted yet.

                    I am calling to PHILIPS customer care 3 times every day. Everybody's attitude is like "sir we'll arrange a callback for you on tomorrow between 11 am to 1 pm" But nobody calls ( ).

                    I have tried all the type of bad words at them, but no use.

                    Actually I purchased that device on my first anniversary as a surprise to my wife, that surprise tirned into a suffering.

                    FOR SERVICING MY HOME THEATER SP125R

                    I bought one Home theater Philips "SP 125R" on April 2009. I have been using it for almost 1 and Half years and it got complaint. I went to my nearest Philips Authorized Service center, Kottayam and given it for repair on Oct 26, 2010. They checked it and said Front Panel was complaint and they need to replace it. I agree to get it repaired. Now, It is nearing 5 months. I haven't get my Product Repaired.I called their customer care people many times. When i call the Kottayam Service center, they are saying they have requested Front Panel to Philips center Pune India, but they have not received it. Many deadline dates said by customer care and service center have passed. Last month I called to Kottayam service center, they told service center will be shifted from there to some other area (Near KSRTC Bus Stand Kottayam. I don't know exactly) They told to me should be cal back when the parts has to receive. But till now they did not call to me. I am really irritated by their service.They are really irresponsible. Actually i am really confused what to do in this matter. I want to get one private service station at kottayam...

                      I had purchased a Philips home theatre system over a year ago Within a month I had a problem, service attended to the call, and set it right. The problem cropped up again, a part was replaced. And then again – this time I insisted that either the design or the piece was flawed; and that the unit be replaced. Philips refused to pay heed and replaced the part once again.

                      As they always do, soon after the warranty period, the same problem cropped up again – I have kicked up a lot of dust and tried to get it replaced at least now – no chance! Philips first shamelessly said they would have to charge me for the part and service, and when I screamed, offered to do it free!

                      I want Philips to pay a price for giving me a substandard product and refusing top admit it or set it right in spite of many attempts. I now want my money back or the product replaced.

                      not mounting tv

                      I purchased a Philips led TV from bismy shop Ernakulam on[protected] .Till now[protected] they are not mounted it.I call the support center, technician, manager, They are not responding to me.

                        This product was purchased on 06 Sep 09 with warranty of two years from calicut, philips authorised shop. Since then the oven is giving electric shock while using. The equipment was returned to the shop just after one week of purchase for repair. With lots of persuation, the equipment was returned stating that , the same is repaired. However, the problem is still same and it is causing problem to other equipments too.

                          I brought a Philips dvd player and it stopped workin after 5 months and good time I had the 6 months warranty so I was able to replace the lens as the problem was with the lens.Now again in the eight month the lens stopped working >I dont know what to do how many times I have to service the same DVD player.I dont know why the companies are not giving quality products to customers.Iam fed up with this.

                            Sir, The Philips India refused to repair or exchange my above detailed machine on the ground that the model i s too old and obselete now. The Local service Center refuse d to accept the above machine even to check it.. I have already lodged acomplaint with Indian consumers Complaint Forum.
                            Perhaps Philips india is only company which refues to repair or even entertain old models and declare them obselete without showing any time frame service system while selling the product.
                            Now i have no choice but only to through the above machine on road.

                              My philips music system was damaged due to voltage fluctuation. I had given for servicing to the Guwahati, India service centre on 16/06/2009. But to my great dissatisfaction the music system has not been repaired till date (05/04/2010). I have also taken up the issue over phone with the local Philips Service centre executive but to no avail. The reason I am told why the music system cannot be repaired is that they do not have the spare transformer (I am told so) and the service centre people are unable to get that for last 10 months! Is this Quality Service? The details of my system are given below:

                              I have given my music system to authorised service centre Adyar Chennai and it is with them for the past 45 days and we are not receiving any proper reply from them when we tried to get the status.                               hi madam what about my DVD Philips LX3900SA Home Theater System you are also delay my favor

                              1. I am purchase this product 4.5 years but till date i am face problem
                              (i) first year product body bend in tray side and nodisk problem i Imagen no product are design
                              (ii) second year i am face lens problem i am spend Rs. 1150.00 ok on service center
                              (iii) Third and Fourth year hang tis product and last 6 month power supply i am spend Rs. 1000.00 ok on service center
                              till today to last three month power supply totally dead service center told me estimate approximatively Rs.3750.00 and this service center
                              engineer told me suppose you solve this problem are this problem not final problem to face next any problem like lens, card, any other related

                              he said i am not get this AMC contract this product because this product part are not easily available and so much costly and when i am purchase this product after 6 month this product totally closed so i am make test tube "Bakra"

                                AKS 24X7 a service center in Bangalore had taken our Philips TV for service, when they returned (after replacing LOT ic as per them) - it had incorrect color which would not get tuned, repeated requests to them for checking it went unheard, finally the picture quality became very poor, when they came and took the TV again. And now they have started saying that Picture tube has a problem. We dont know if these guys are in fradulent practices. Need to have a check done upon them to ensure that innocent consumers are not taken for a ride in this manner. They need to be charged with malpractices and their process of parts replacements (concern is they are using spurious parts) and even their process of services needs to be probed into

                                  Dear Sir/Madam!

                                  I have placed the above stated order on 12th March,2010 over the phone to Indiatoday book club for Philips Mini DVD for Rs.7,498/- and payment made thru my HSBC International Visa Classic credit card bearing No. [protected]. Later, on enquiry with customer care center, it is learnt that it was a fake call from marketing people to grab the business by giving false assurances about offers. Therefore, I had given advise to customer care center to get cancel the said order and refund the amount to my card account. In fact, by that time product was dispatched by the courier and I am told to refuse to take delivery of the product. Hence, I rejected the courier parcel of the product, accordingly. Further, it is disconcert to note that still that amount is not refunded to my card account and its showing outstanding, which is highly abjured.

                                  You are, therefore, requested to process my case at the eraliest and arrange to refund the entire amount of Rs.7,498/- to my credit card account to avoid late fee and finance charges from the bank. In case it is not attended to, the legal proceedings will follow.

                                      I have purchased a Philips DVD player Model No: DVP3388/94 Serial No: KX1D[protected] on 28/02/2010 at Big Bazaar 45/47 Arcot road, saligramam, Chennai-600093.the DVD player was working properly till 20/02/2010, and then there was no video and audio out from player. I checked the connection it was found ok .if the connected to component video out the video & audio comes but video is black & white.

                                      I contacted the service center and handed over the DVD player for service on 24/03/2010 at Authorized Philips Service Centre M/s PHS Electronics Place Regency Shop No: F4 First Floor, Door No: 80-93 Opp. Abhirami Theater, Purasawalkam High Road, Kellys, New Avadi Road,Chennai-10. Work Order number is [protected]. My delivery date was 26/03/2010, on contacting the service center on 26/03/2010, I was informed that the IC was found defective it has to be replaced and spare awaited. Then I was informed that the player will be delivered on 30/03/2010,I contacted on 30/03/2010 then they told it will take two more days .I contacted the service center on 05/04/2010 the answer was the same two more days required for service, then I contacted on 10/04/2010 morning I was informed my player Is ready and is on the way from head office i.e. from Ambattur and I can collect it on Monday i.e. on 12/04/2010.then I contacted the service center on 17/04/2010 they informed that the player has some problem that the disc ejects out while playing it has to be checked so required two more days for service . I waited and contacted on 21/04/2010 now they are telling they require two more days .i don’t know what the hell is going on they are also not giving the managers number .every time I had contacted the service center not even a single call is from your side. What a worst service .I am fed up.

                                      Go to their site and see any direct manager/authorised person's email is listed or not? If yes, use every mail id available on Contact page and send them daily or even at every 12 hour... You will see it will work! Apply their theme, the more you advertise in the market of your product, the more ppl will think about it! So, the more you will send the emails, there will be more push from the management!

                                      I have purchased a Philips DVD player Model No: DVP3388 sserial no KXIA[protected] on 30/08/2009 at Nandilath G-Mart Edappally, Kochi. 682 024. the DVD player was working properly till 01/11/2010, after that player was not reading DVD, MP3 and DviX CD's and i tried DVD formatted files in USB that also not read in USB

                                      I contacted the service center and handed over the DVD player for service on 23/03/2011 at Authorized Philips Service Centre M/s LITTLE FLOWER ELECTRONICS, Kallinkal builbing, Near Mundamatton Fuels, Muvattupuzha Road, Thodupuzha Ph.[protected]. My delivery date was 1 week, i called the service center after one week they told me that found sofftware problem, it will take one more week . after i was continucelly calling the service center weekly twice but same different excuses till 2.06.2011 i didt get my DVD player from service center, they are telling that board sent to chennai that also waitng 4 the last one month .i don’t know what the hell is going on .every time I had contacted the service center not even a single call is from your side. What a worst service .I am fed up.
