I have had the most frustrating experience with reliance Big TV. My TV has not been working since 20 days. I registered a complaint with the customer care. An engineer visited and said that the set top box is faulty and it would take Rs.3000 to replace it. After I paid him and he replaced the box, the error still did not go. He plugged in the previous set top box and it started working and he said, I don’t know what the problem was but your old SET TOP box is working now. He left and 2 hours later, My TV stopped working again. This time the SET TOP box would just not turn on. I received a call from reliance for feedback and I told them that the issue is not fixed. They said they will send the engineer back. However, no one returned. After calling customer care again after 3 days, the engineer came and said your TV might be bad. I told him that other set top box is working fine in this, so he said OK I will come back and replace set top box tomorrow. It has been again 7 days and no one has returned. Reliance keeps charging me Rs. 175 for every visit and the problem instead of getting fixed but gets worsened. Now today I received message that the service complaint has been closed. It is irritating and frustrating. I recharged for Rs. 6000 2 months back and now my TV is not working. Also my balance shows negative. I have 2 connections on the same name and it is just useless professionalism I have seen from the executives here. I am on call with customer care since over an hour now and all they keep is “Please be on Hold”. They are not even sending any technician to resolve this but they have charge me over Rs.350 and stopped my second connection as well. This is just fraud company and does not have nay real engineers to look into the issues. I want my money back and just want to disconnect the 2 connections now. Useless company.

    my smart card no[protected]. my antenna and signal receiver got damaged due to "HUDHUD" cyclone. then i complained in reliance customer care to replace damaged accessories. My complain no is [protected] dated 03.11.2014. then they told they will rectify it within 48 hours. After two days i have called everyday they have not done till now. On 21 nov 2014 at 00:36:26 A.M. they send me an SMS that request no.[protected] is closed the issue was resolved. But actual fact is that they have not rectify the problem. Pls help me out of this.

      I am a subscriber of your digital service bearing no.[protected] and[protected] and i had recharged for an amount of rs. 3862 and for 2103 respectively on 25.01.2014 and another of rs. On 402 on 08.1.14. The said recharge was done after full discussion with your executive that it will be 11 months and the 12th month will be free.
      that i got message on my phone to recharge before 20.11.2014 or connection will be discontinued. I spoke to your customer executive mr. Ujjwal mondal and mr. Pobir for almost one hour but both were pathetic and had no answer. They also informed me that i had activated a max plan but surprisingly could not tell me the exact and the fact is i never activated or subscribed any such plan. Moreover i was also told that if do not recharge before 20th nov the service will be discontinued. Kindly see to this and resolve my issue urgently.

      I am using your digital tv service with two connections HD-DVR[protected] & Standard Digital ([protected])
      I generally recharge these connections yearly which I was doing from past 3-4 years. I wanted to deactivate Standard digital TV connection so I called the customer care and informed them that I want to recharge only my HD-DVR connection they asked me to recharge for Rs 3316 and I did the same. But the problem here is all o[censored]s sudden my balance went to negative so I called the customer care for knowing the reason they could not give me correct explanation but they told me however if you recharge with 100 rupees my service will be resumed immediately. So I did the same and my HD-DVR services resumed again. But then again on the next day my HD-DVR connection services were disconnected due to negative balance as usual I called customer care to know the exact reason.
      I spoke to 5 customer care executives but they were not telling me the correct reason instead they are talking so rudely saying we will not tell you the same reason again and again they cut my call abruptly saying you cannot time pass with customer care. Names of customer care executives RAJ, ADITYA, SATISH and two lady executives names which I don't remember exactly. Kindly look into this issue and also take necessary action on those executives who spoke to me irresponsibly.

        Sir, Please refer my service request no.[protected] dated 18 Oct 2014.No technician attended to my request and due to recent Hudhud cyclone, the dish position was displaced and no signals were available.Hence I contacted teh call centre and I was told that the technician would come and rectify.I asked whether any charges are to be paid. The executive told that no charges will be ther and even if the technician asks, he advised me not to pay. I waited for three days and no body came and the dish was adjusted by myself and hence I did not again contact the call centre for pursuing the matter. To day I received a SMS stating that Rs 175/ was debited to my account.How can you debit my account ...first when you say there will be no charges..second..you should ascertain from me whether the complaint has been attended or not.Simply because there is some amount outstanding in my account you cannot debit the amount. When I raised the issue to your call centre, no proper response was given. The lady gave me a mobile number [protected] asking me to contact. When I asked what for I should contact this number, she simply informed that she was instructed to give this number when the customer contacts for any details. I don, t understand how your system works. Since NO SERVICE form your end is provided for my above referred service request, you have no authority to collect any amount from me.Hence I request you to kindly re credit the amount debited back to my account under advise to me immediately and confirm.If the amount is not creditd the matter will be escalated to higher authorities. I'm fed up with the handling of things by customer care people.The booked the same complaint 6 times but with no action.When I escalate the matter to higher ups, they say they referred the matter to field staff, when I contact them over toll free number, they say it takes time and they escalated the matter.This is going on for the last one month

        The service of the ground level staff is most unsatisfactory and no courtesy, no clarity in giving the information.They just say they escalated the complaint and officials say they referred the matter to the field staff. Like wise I suffered humiliation for more than month giving me mental agony just for the sake of refunding Rs 175/-unauthorised debit to my account
        Overall my RATING IS VERY VERY VERY BAD

        After a fight for nearly one month, my unauthorised amount was credited back on 21 Nov.In the meanwhile some official from Mumbai called me over phone and I narrated the whole incident. He again registered a complaint and told me that their engineer will visit my house. NO ENGINEER CAME TOMY HOUSE. Since the amount was credited back, I did not follow up.
        Today, 3 Dec 2014, I received a SMS stating"Dear Reliance Digital Customer, your service request No[protected] is closed.You are charged Rs175.00.Trust the issue was resolved to you satisfaction"
        I don't understand how the customer service dept is functioning.The above referred complaint was registered by the Mumbai official for refund of the unauthorised debit of Rs 175/-When the official again called me on 26 Nov I told the amount has been credited and hence there is no issue. For this again they debited Rs 175/-!!!I think again I have to fight for months to get back the amount.This is my account statement, as per portal, as of now. Reliance digtal Officials to explain why this is happening. If I talk to them they are debitting the amount without doing anything.

          As per the attached document, screenshot as published from Rcom.com.website, Tamil Pack, Malayalam Pack, Kannada Pack, Telugu Pack & Marathi Plus Pack are supposed to be charged "zero" in my account. However RCOM had deducted, Rs.99/- from may account, on[protected], thus cheated me by publishing wrong information in their website for extracting extra money from me. Please take necessary action so that RCOM will credit back the excess amount illegally debited from my account.

            I have lodged complaint vide Service Request ID[protected]. The smart card number is[protected]. The complaint was lodged on 21/10 and is still unattended. The customer service phone number is represented by worthles people - not able to tell anything. Mailed to their customer complaint mail - and it says it will be dealt with very soon. But that day has not come yet. I understand that Vizag is cyclone hit and many connections are not in shape. But 27 days? Is it a joke or what? I would really recommend people to not expect anything from this Jali company - nothing called customer service is existing.

              My Reliance Smart Card No.[protected]. Due to Hud-Hud cyclone in AP my dish has not function from 12/10/14. I register a complaint No.[protected] at Reliance Customer care on 19/10/2014 after lapse of 10 days one of the service people has called me to know my address and he is not came still today. I shocked on 4/11/2014 I received a SMS from Reliance Customer Care my problem is solved and charged Rs. 175/-. Immediately i call to the customer care[protected] and they are promised me to rectify this error and send the service people and solve my problem, but still to day the problem is not rectified. I request the RELIANCE DTH people to take your Dish and give me a piece of mind

                My Smart card No. is[protected]. I have a Reliance Big TV connection and I used to pay yearly subscription charges. However during Jan 2014 there was a scheme in Reliance Big TV wherein, you have to pay for only 10 months and you will get free viewing for two months ( i.e. for yearly subscription you have to pay only for 10 months ) . In line with the above scheme, I had paid lump sum subscription charges for 10 months in end of Jan 2014, in order to get the benefit of free viewing for two additional months. The confirmation w.r.t the above scheme was given by the Reliance Big TV people, during the aforesaid recharging. As of now there are another two and half months remaining for next recharge, but Reliance Big TV has stopped providing me the cable service and I am unable to view any channel. Feeling cheated, I complained to Reliance Big TV people, but they said that I should pay for the subscription charges in order to view the channels. This is a height of cheating innocent people and specially those who have been regularly paying annual subscription charges . In this regards, it is requested to kindly look into the matter and arrange to restart the services which extends up to end Jan 2015 in line with Reliance Big TV scheme. If my complaint is not attended and I am unable to get the Reliance Big TV services, I will be forced to lodge a strong compliant in Consumer forum for early settlement of the issue and the necessary compensations. For information and early necessary action please.

                  My card no is[protected]. From last 2 weeks there has been Faulty service on my connection. The reasons cited are either weather conditions or improper signals as cited by your customer care. Despite making repeated complaints no action has been taken by you. Once a service person visited my house and did something and charged rupees 150as service charge. But of no use. Again after registering a complaint rupees 150 was deducted from my account on the basis of relocating charges. And 150 was again deducted without any reason . I was given a complaint number and told that the connection would be reinstated without any further problems. but it has been 5 days and nothing has happened. My complaint number is 22602641. Either you take serious action in this matter or else I will have to take the help of consumer court with discontinuation of your dish connection. I am disappointed with your services. I want full refund of my money

                    Worst customer care service, I made so many calls till now the installation is not done. It is almost 10 days now. I even send an compliant to the Nodal officer in Bangalore, but the same stories continues. I dont know the duty of this Nodal officer, As per TRAI regulation he should have send an proper respond within 3 days, but he failed to send any response. I even tried his number, he never picked that. One of the WORST CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE. Never buy this DTH. Waste of money.

                      I was not using my reliance Digital TV since last 7months. I wanted to re-activate the connection . My smart card no. is[protected]. I tried to call customer care several times but i was not able to connect. The line is getting disconnected as soon as I enter my Smart card no. I have mailed the customer care several and they reply back telling that it will solved within one business day but nothing happens. After some 30 days i got a call from a person who told me that he is from BIG TV . he told me that i need to take a new connection for that i ahve to pay Rs 2190/- . When i asked him about my old setup box and dish, he told that i cannot use it and i need to buy a new box and dish. He also told that he can informally take my old box and dish and give me Rs 200 /-. When i enquired with some people that told me i need to pay only for my smart card reactivation. I feel it is totally unfair from the RDTV guys for their service, support and communication. I feel really frustrated with the service and want to know how to take up this matter which i feel is totally nonsense from BIG TV

                        I have raised a request on 3Nov2014 & the request number is[protected]. I have called customer service 5 times & all they have to tell is "what can we do sir?" This is regarding the un installation from the old address & re installation of my Big Tv to my new address & iam highly unsatisfied with the service. I was promised 48hrs of times & it has been 8-9days & i have not recived any call from them. Kindly folow up.

                          The Big TV connection (No.[protected] is not working since 02.11.2014. I have registered a complaint on 03.11.2014 and also contacted the customer care three four times. But no service person contacted me, nor rectified the defects. Hence it is humbly requested that necessary arrangements may place be made to rectify the defects at the earliest.                             I had registered a query/complaint at the facebook page of reliance digital tv...where the queries/complaints are registred..I had written that - is rishtey channel available on your dth or not? and if yes, then in which pack is it available and if no, then what should i do to watch rishtey channel on your dth..but i have not received any reply as yet..when i called the customer care i was told that the channel is unavailable...i just want to enjoy the services of this company and want to watch that channel...and as far as i know network 18 is owned by reliance and rishtey channel is a part of network 18 so, the channel should be made available to me... i an eagerly waiting for a useful response to this complaint... :)

                              My reliance big tv number[protected] had remained deactivated since nearly 2 years due to my personal problems, after using it for many years.
                              Than i want to reactivate my account to enjoy the great viewing experience from reliance big tv services.
                              So i contacted the customer care services on 30/10/2014 and took advised for reactivating the services.They confidently told to recharge the account with minimum 160 rupees.So i recharged the account[protected] with 160 followed by 200 rupees.
                              But after recharging the above amount i didn't get the services .
                              When enquired about the same to customer care they told that the device need pairing with the card which would take rs 800/- <.With this amount a new service could be taken, .Why this one?>
                              This is just a nonsense thing in your part to provide such wrong information to customer for taking out money.

                                Reliance Digital TV Smart Card number[protected], its 5th day, i have been continuously calling them and sending them mails and they ask for last 2 hours after stating the problem every time from the begining, but still my problem is not been resolved.

                                  My TV showing Error 404 and after that I had complained to customer care on 21st October 2014 and take a Complained No#[protected]. Waited for 2 days and from there since today every day by daily routine is to call to Customer Care but technician not come. After very frustrating and mailing to Nodal Officer and reply come that i will solve the problem with my team But no problem solve. After this also i called to Customer Care and looks like they are intentionally not resolving my issue as i escalated. Over all my Set top box Not repaired Till Today and Passed almost 2 Week. My family relation is not good due to TV not running and passing through the mental pressure. Please help me i request to You as soon as possible. With Best regards

                                    I am unhappy with the quality of a reliance digital tv. problem of signal poork. not repair our digital tv no.[protected]. already replaced reliance digital tv & paid amt for new RDT. but not solved this problem. our first complaint no.[protected] dt. 09.10.14. second complaint no.[protected] dt. 19.10.14. third complaint no.[protected] dt. 27.10.14. kindly check the matter of this. so plz do the needful.

                                      ive got a problem with the reliance big tv from the last 10 days and ive contacted the customer care and ive recieved a message that the engineer will soon be here to solve the problem. complaint number;[protected], dated:25/10/2014 my card number is[protected]. but still i didnt get any response its waste of my time.i hope that they will be punctual in their service.
                                      customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                      I lodged a complaint on 25/10/2014 with complaint no:[protected] regarding I require a re installation of dish Till this date the service engineer has turned up. I called the customer care nearly about 10 times and fed with them. I never came across such a worst service provider

                                        my reliance digital tv a/c no. is[protected] i recharged my account by Rs.1010/-on 28/10/2014 and called customer care to activate 4 months silver sports pack and they did the same and i got a confirmation message. next day i received a message to recharge my a/c before 03/11/2014, i called customer care and inquired about it and they asked me to avoid the message. but my account got deactivated on 03/11/2014 and when i called them regarding this they said within 15 minutes your account will be activated and then after every 30 minutes interval i called them almost 7 times but the problem was same. at around 6pm when i called them again they are saying that your smart card is not working for that you will be charged Rs400/-. if this was the problem how come i received message before that my account will be suspended on 03/11/2014
