I have lodged a complaint on toll free number for my BIG TV No.[protected] about one month back. In spite of repeated telephonic reminders from me and assurances by the BIG TV executives my complaint is not yet attended. Since last one month my BIG TV connection is dead showing error 400. Though the complaint is not yet attended, I have received a message stating that Rs. 175 is charged for my said complaint. How shameful and disgusting it is on the part of Reliance BIG TV. Hope my complaint shall be resolved or my illegally charged amount shall be refunded.

      I had a signal problem for which I launched the complain Req No[protected] and it was rectified and Rs. 175/= was deducted from my account and after three four days again same problem occurred and again I contacted the customer care Req No.[protected]. Again my account was debited Rs. 175/- . I informed the customer care about the double debit from my account Req No.[protected] and I was told it will refunded and I got the message that complain is resolved.

      last week when I checked my for recharge, I found that my account is showing negative balance of, for the same I complained to customer care vide Req. No.[protected], Next day I got the message that complain is resolved. I checked my account and found that amount is not refunded, so again I launched the complain Req No.[protected] and Customer care executive assured me that this time surely it will be refunded, next day got the message that problem has been resolved. Again I checked the account and to my surprise it was not refunded.

      Again I contacted customer care now they said it can not be refunded.

      Really very pathetic and horrible customer service.

      Today again I launched the complaint vide service request no.[protected] at 1737hrs and 1740hrs I received the message your request no.[protected] is closed and resolved to your satisfaction. I checked it is not resolved.
      Really disgusting. Please improve your customer care service.

      Today I got a call from Mr. Prasad and he assured me someone from customer care department will call for the resolution of the problem.
      To my surprise I got a call from CRM hyderabad and got my amount refunded.

        An open letter to Mr Anil Ambani: Dear Mr Anil Ambani, First of all I was a big fan of Reliance Group, specifically ADAG, from the time the Reliance Group parted ways. Whatever the media wrote, I was a strong supporter of the junior Ambani-Anil. At our lunch discussions, whenever anybody talked anything against Mr Anil Ambani I used to justify him with such a high spirit, my colleagues started commenting like "dont say anything against Anil Ambani, this man will fight for him". my support, it maybe extremely strange to someone, went a way where I boycotted any of the Mukesh Ambani promoted entities viz., Reliance Digital, Reliance trends or even Marks & Spenser. While buying a DTH connection I opted for the big TV connection some years ago. But my blind support and trust to ADAG started waning from that time. after installing Big TV DTH it had a complaint wrt the set top box which was replaced after much telephonic as well as email follow ups even to Mr Anil Ambani. Then somebody from their Delhi regional office contacted me and solved the issue, in some 15 days time. This time again when i made the complaint on the 2nd of this month and after much follow up to their call centers no positive response has received so far. when i called them again today' i was told that on weekends they will not send their technical people to attend complaints. so here again i have lost some 20 :days in follow ups and it remains unattended. i have decided, not to follow up with such irresponsible people again thereby wasting my precious time.the smart card number is given herewith[protected]. i have spoken with Tata Sky and they are sending their representative in a while. with my extremely unpleasant experience, ii would urge the prospective buyers of DTH connections to NEVER EVER BUY RELIANCE BIG TV, as they dont know the abcd of what the real customer service is. I sincerely hope nobody suffers from Reliance any more. For wasting my time, I am planning to put a banner on my car and it will help spreading my message and reach it to the average people or the prospective buyers. i drive almost 100 kilometers daily in Delhi NCR area.         My only plea to the prospective DTH buyers - keep away from this BIG TV !! And to the existing customers - just go away from this cheats!!!

          OUR A/C. NO.[protected] renewed and upto[protected]. not working fm[protected] till today i.e. 20 days SIR Our Big tv is not transmitting relays since 30th night waited 48 hours and brought to your notice on[protected] your Customer care executed noted the complaint and replied that the problem may be in set top box that has to replaced and cost is Rs.175-00 that has to borne by customer, I agreed to that then he said that will be delivered and resolve your your problem within 48 yours i.e. it should be rectified by 3rd Sep 2014, but till today there is no action and my BIG tv is not working for 20 days, inspite of somany remiders just your people has not taken priority to existing customers and saying that there is no stock. But releasing your products to new customers. Now, its understood that you want new customers only, you dont want to renew or serve to existing customers.             My Set-top Box is not working since last 10 days. Customer care is not responding properly. Their Engineers also do not receive the call. Very very Poor Service. Even the signal gets lost in very low rain. Tata SKY is not loosing signal at such a low rain. If anyone is planning to purchase Reliance digital TV, Please do not purchase it. Purchase only if you would like to have extremely poor services.

              My BIF TV SMART CARD NUMBER[protected], and MY REGISTERED MOBILE NUMBER - [protected]. I have spoken with the customer care about half an hour daily from 30 Aug 2014 for change of address and installation. But due to the inefficiency of the system(Reliance Customer care & their allied team) nothing can be done for me against my continuous request upto 05 September. I have given consumer complaints in this regard from that day. But i am receiving the standard reply that is " Complaint has been forwarded and our executive will get in touch soon" which is not understood. I feel that "get in touch with the complaint direct with Mr. Ambani will help to solve this type of complaint.                 Subscriber ID[protected] Error 400 signal lost error was noticed in Big TV. Called customer care, technician inspected and suggested to replace set top box at a cost of Rs.500. It has been more than 3 weeks the STB has not been replaced. On enquiry I get a standard reply that STB is out of stock and will be replaced next monday. Called CC twice and the service person who promised to bring the STB every 2-3 days. all in vain. I am wondering how BIG reliance is dearth of STBs. Disappointed

                How long should I still wait? No response from customer care so far.

                  Hi Team,

                  I planning to upgrade from STB to HD from last 1 month and for the same when i called to Customer care came to know that HD setup box stock is not available in Bangalore and informed no option available, And for the same i tried multiple dealers but still no use. And finally i got a idea that the HD box which i having will work with active smart card which was mentioned below, but i am getting error as 102 pairing error for which i called customer care today says i need to pay Rs.400/- for pairing which is pathetic service.

                  1. No HD Setup Box is not available with you to upgrade
                  2. I already having HD Box where you people are not ready to pair
                  3. I purchased this HD setup already and you people asking of Rs.400/- for pairing ( let me know why i should when both STB and HD are mine).
                  4.Its my fault that i am using your service

                    i have a big tv connection.Smart card no:[protected] registered under v.rajeshwar reddy. i logged a complaint with regard to poor audio, complaint no:[protected] on 13 july 2014. it's closed on sep 11 without solving it, on confronting them they gave new no:[protected]. According to trai a complaint has to be closed in five days. Big tv has not even addressed my complaint for past 2 months & still it's unresolved, my calls to their executives elicited a standard reply "that matter is escelated to higher authorities, and issue will be closed at the earliest." i've written mails to nodal officer, rcom appellatte authority, customer care of reliance digital tv but got no positive result. i request you to forward this matter to appropriate authority like trai. i want them to take back their equipment, refund my amount, & compensation under prescribed regulations.

                        Respected Sir, I am Laxmi Narayana Chary Legal Owner of the Reliance Big TV bearing Account No:[protected]. I am having problem with my set-top-box that it is getting stuck, Switching Off, when we switch on Fan, Tube Light, or any Electrical Equipment. I am facing this problem since 3 months. Due to this reason I did not recharge my set-top-box. One day Reliance Customer call Center called me asked about the reason why you are not using Reliance Big TV since 3 months. Then I explained about the above mentioned reason.They said that we will send our Technician, he will repair the set-top-box.So I gave my address for Correspondence. Then the other day ie.., 08 Jul 2013 the Technician named Mahesh came to my home when I went to Bangalore with my family to attend the death of my cousin. At that time my auntie was alone in the home.The technician said that we will repair the set-top-box within the 15-20 days and bring it to your home. Then he took my auntie sign on the paper who is uneducated, she cant read and write English, saying that we will repair the set-top-box and return within 15-20 days.And he collected the Rs.500 for the repairing cost. The given time period has been completed and he did not bring the set-top-box till now to my home. Then I called to the customer helpline and said the above problem. Then the customer helpline people said that you people have been returned the set-top-box to the company and we will not return it to you again But we had not returned the set-top-box. .We had given given it for repairing. But your Technician named Mr Mahesh took sign on the CANCELLATION FORM by saying lies to my auntie that we are taking it for repairing. I am the legal owner of the Reliance Set-top-box.How did you take my set- top-box without having my permission and signature on the CANCELLATION FORM. I don't want to return my set-top-box.I am using that Set-top-box since 10 years. I don't have any willingness to return it.I was not able to watch TV for period of 40 days because of the technician who has cheated and took my set-top-box. I will file a police case on Mahesh(Technician) because of his cheating, telling lies to my auntie and taken amount of Rs.500 to repairing or servicing charges.If you people don't return my Set-Top-Box and given Rs.500, I will reveal this cheating case to media, and I will approach consumer court to file a case.                           Our reliance big tv signal was lost from last 15 days & i was register our complaint on 26/8/14
                          Service Request No :[protected]
                          Every day i called to customer care service for this issue
                          And they said that "our technician will reach your place & solve this issue"

                          And before two day ago we received the message from reliance big tv that "Your service request no.[protected] is closed"
                          without any technician visit or solving our signal lost problem, how they can sent this message ???

                          Till date our signal is lost...

                            It is now almost 10 days since I have made a complaint and no one has attended to this till date. I reminded on 3/9/14 and was informed that my complaint will be attended on top priority but nothing has happened till today the 9/9/14. Just now I reminded and spoke to one Aparna and wanted to speak to the in charge Renuka but I was connected. My Smart Card No. is[protected] and my MAX pack is valid till November 2014. I am not able to view some of the channels like COLOURS, HD channels etc which shows Error 400 but it cannot be due to weather conditions as all other channels work during the same time. It is practically impossible to contact the customer care and it takes almost 1/2 hour to get the executive on the line. Kindly attend to the same today itself as otherwise I am planning to go for better service providers like TATA or AIRTEL. Venkatachalam TV

                              Sir,
                              I have purchased the reliance DTH eqpt since 2008 while serving at Lucknow(UP) and never had such type of complaint. But it is very shameful to the such a large DTH services in India that installation and change of address could not completed in five days. I have finally transfered with my family to coimbatore station. I have liaised with customer care of reliance big tv from 30 Aug 2014. Initially they have asked for 24hrs time schedule for installation of the equipment, then they asked 48hours time for change of address and then they again asked 24 hours time. on completion of four days neither my address has been changed nor the equipment installed. The annual silver pack which has been subscribed by me also been changed to platinum pack which has been less validity of about two months. I have installed the same by the local DTH service provider in Rs. 200/-


                              I have suffered without seeing any channel and payment has been deducted on daily basis from 30 Aug 2014 to till date. Silver pack has been changed to platinum pack with a loss to me about two months. They have told that the charges for address changing is Rs. 350/- alongwith the installation. Kindly instruct the service provider to get back my silver pack with the validity upto 23 Dec 2014 and not required to change the address with a charge of Rs. 350/-

                              Sir my complaint has not been solved till date. Kindly return my silver pack which have been changed by the customer care from my Big TV Smart Card No.[protected] and avoid me from the loss as stated earlier. I have spoken with the customer care executives and their seniors (Supervisor Mr. Karthi) about 30-40 minutes daily from 30 Aug 2014 to 04 Sep 2014 from my registered mobile number for the installation and address changing. But still now neither my address changed nor received back my subscription as earlier. Please take appropriate action for the satisfaction of the customer because i am the customer of Reliance BIG TV since last 7-8 years.

                                Dear Sir/Madam, My Big TV smart card No.[protected]. i had a problem with my remote on Mar'2014 and when i raised a complaint[protected] to replace the remote the customer care executive told to recharge the account with 225Rs and i did recharged. One of the agent came to replace remote and asked for the money, I told him it was said that the amount will be deducted from my account. He told no it wont be deducted from my account and he wont replace the remote unless i paid him, so paid him. After that i got an SMS that amount got deducted from my account too. I immediatly called customer care and informed the same and raised a complaint[protected] to refund my amount. But they didn't gave any update and closed it. After few weeks i got a feedback call and i informed the same thing but no use. Recently i raised complaint[protected] once again but they closed it saying they can't do anything. I don't understand why the bigtv was fooling customers with these cheap tricks. I was very unhappy the way they are answering to the complaints. When i told them the agent collected money then they were saying its not their problem. I have to solve on my own. If they dont trust the engineers then how come they send them to customers. Please do the need full.

                                  I am so un happy with RELIANCE Digital TV Service. I shifted by Big TV to a new location and couple of months after installation I was getting signal lost error in climatic condition. When I spoke to customer care they asked me recharge for 175 Rs and they said their engineer will come to my place and rectify the issue.But they never turned up. After that when ever I try to reach customer care([protected] &[protected], it says all customer care executives are busy in other calls and no one pick ups the call.Thats how it went of all most 20 days, i could not even watch any channels. By that time my account was suspended. Suddenly one day fine morning I got a call from customer care number[protected] questioning me why I am not recharging my account. I explained him the issue. He promised me that "Sir, I have taken your complain.Please note it down the number.[protected]. You please recharge your account with 200 Rs and I assure you my engineer will come to your residence with in 48 hours. I am still waiting and my account is showing now only 170 balance. No one called me neither visited my place. Most embarrassing moment now when i am putting this complain after receiving SMS from Reliance Big TV mentioning: Sender of this SMS : 59111 Body of the SMS: Dear Reliance Digital TV Customer, your Service Request No[protected] is closed.Trust the issue was resolved to your satisfaction.Thank You. Now please let me know where shall i knock the door for any help and immediate action. And my sincere suggestion and request to all my friends who ever is/will be reading this please never ever go for this BIG cheater company - RELIANCE Big TV. Its better to watch TV in cable rather than buying a dish from RELIENCE. So poor is quality, service and satisfaction.

                                    I changed my address on august 30, 2014 on that day, i have uninstalled the bigtv connection with their permission and i requested them to install to new address, they said okay, we will instaall within 48 hours, i said, okay, no problem, until now, they didn’t install and they are not responding correctly. Their service is very very bad. I am not satisfied with this service.

                                      Hello Sir, I am the consumer of Reliance Digital TV earlier known as Big tv. Smart card no:[protected] Due to construction of new building near to our apartment, Our dish is not working. So I raised a complaint to reliance digital tv for installation of dish tv on the terrace which is currently in first floor. Service request no :[protected], Date 28Aug 2014. As per their call center it cost me Rs350 for installation. On 29Th the service person visited my and removed the dish from first floor and moved the dish to terrace. But he didn’t installed my dish on the terrace. He just connected cable to some other vacant dish on the terrace which is Tata Sky And he escaped the place without my notice. On the same day evening, I saw a Rs350 deduction from account. I informed their customer center about this fraud deduction without installing my own dish. As per suggestion by their customer center and as my installation is under warranty, they raised a second free service request to install my own dish. Service req No:[protected] on 30Aug 2014, On the same day the service person visited my house and this time he drilled my own dish and left the place. But on the same day evening I saw another fraud Rs250 deduction on my account. So, Total they deducted Rs600 from account which should be Rs350. So i request you to help me to get the refund of Rs250 from Reliance Digital Tv. I tried calling their customer center about Refund but they were not doing refund of Rs250 even though it is fraud done by their Service persons. Regards KiranKumar

                                        Hi i just want to bring to your notice your technitians are acting rude and irresponsible. They are asking bribe directly of rs 100. When it was questioned they are telling its our fault for calling customercare.According to them we have to call technician directly. when we refused to pay as directed by your customercare people, now my complaint has been sidetracked. He called us immediately when i registered the complaint after confirming our name aNd address he visited our neighbOur.the technician just visited my neighbour for there complaint but for us he told it will take time because we have lodged complaint in customercare.this is really corruption at its heights. I can tell you its channapatna taluk, karnataka. if you Dont do anything then we Are forced to change the service. threatening of no service for bribery is really worst serVice. Its up to the company to take action or not. you can verify my complaint by checking the time taken to solve the complaint.i feel robbed.
