Hi,

I received a Legal Notice in spetember 2009 from Reliance Communications 6 years after I terminated the Postpaid reliance mobile connection ([protected] - those days reliance numbers had STD code). All the dues were settled when terminating the connection in Reliance web world, Adyar, chennai. I do not have any proof now. Does reliance expect to retain the termination receipt till eternity or what? I did not receive any communication from them other than this notice after sweet 6 years.

Any suggestions?

i m very much in tension due to reliance communication customer care behavior... my mobile number [protected] is barred from 19 sep and i have already submitted my address proof to M.G. Road near Padma Theater in Kochi, but they are not able to give my connection back.. i have not got any prior intimation for disconnecting my number, its 5th day and yet my number problem is not resolved... as i m very old customer with relicance communication and being in Indian Navy i used to be transfered to one place to another place.... there in no issue regarding address proof... can you help for solving this problem... i want to take my connection back... i had send my address proof on 5th sep to port blair branch manager via email address also in scanned form...but after that it is not solved... he is telling me to leave that number and he will provide me new number with same connection but i don't want any other number... i want my that number back... thank you sir

From 1st september 2009,we are facing severe problem of disconnecting of Internet even though we make the compliants.From 1st september onwards,we got 10 (Ten) compliants regarding this problem.Even though they have resolved the problem after waiting for one week,we got internet for 1 hour.And finally,presently the problem was solved on 23rd September,2009 and there is no sure for this.

Yesterday i.e 21st September,'09 I had dialed your prepaid customer care service to lodge a complaint against improper sms card billing.

Inspite of explaining to the customer care person(CCP) for atleast half an hour i.e. from 7:pm to 7:35 pm, he refused to understand my problem and instead was very very rude!!!!

I am an old customer of reliance and am using your prepaid connection since it came to Kanpur for the very first time!!!! But is this the kind of service I have to bear???

I had called your CCP to lodge a complaint against improper billing of my local sms pack of Rs.49. My complaint was that every time I sent a local msg, a rupee was reduced from my sms balance and TWO rupees were being reduced from the MAIN BALANCE also!! And maybe this was going on since morning ,but i had not noticed this earlier!! Whoever picked up my call at 7:00pm replied that 2rs were being reduced for an STD sms to some absurd number 0360,!!!! As I was not aware of such a number and i had not sent any msg to this number so I wanted to know why and how come sms is going to such an absurd number.? So I was forwarded to another customer care exec-male-named MANOJ.

Anyways, this CCP asked me my earlier balance.I told him that I wasnt aware of it because I had not retrieved it earlier and maybe it was something around 60.Telling me to stay on hold he went to check..... the very next moment he came online and started shouting and speaking very rudely!!!! screaming at me that my earlier balance in the morning wasnt 60 it was around 34-35.... I kept telling him that I wasnt sure of my earlier balance because I had not been able to check it but he kept shouting that I give him wrong information etc. I told him that this was not my complaint.My complaint was for the sms billing but he wasnt ready to even listen to me!!!! Although I tried telling and explaining him my problem again and again but he did not even hear/understand me properly..after screaming for few mins,he just told me that my balance was reduced correctly for STD sms and thats it. Saying so he rudely disconnected my call!!!!

Till date my problem HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED!!!

Now Sir can I know what kind of service is this??? I dont use my cell much for calling,sms works best for me and if I am having a problem then to whom should I complain? Till date the problem has not been resolved!! Are reliance prepaid customers treated like or what????
Being a muslim I have been sending greeting to local numbers the whole day and I understand that today the sms pack is deactivated,hence I should be chrged 1re as per rule. Then why was I being charged 3Rs.(1 =sms pack and 2=Main balance)!!!? This wasnt such a grave problem or something for which I to suffer such insult and being told that I talk lies and give wrong information etc!!!.....Does 6:59 and 7:00pm make much difference?

What does make a difference is the rash and rude attitude of your call center employees!!!!

Reliance is doing bad with customer, reliance launched boss 8055 series and says customer to take there selected numbers. i sent 4 massages from different number like tata indicom, airtel, rim GSM, Vodafone.. i just got reply from them thanks for participating in boss… no other reply came.. so what i do? how will i get my selected number.... if it not possible then why reliance did campaign like this??

I regret to inform that all the incoming/out goiong calls has been barred before 10 days without any prior information to me. I contacted Customer Care who told to complete the formalities i.e. submit ID proof, address proof and photograph to resume the services. In this connection I submitted the required ID proof, address proof, photograph and completed the form and submited the same at your office Reliance World, at 14/125, Parade, The Mall, Kanpur on 14.09.09 at 2.00 PM and assured me to get all the services resumed within 48 hrs. However, so far my phone is suspended and I am facing a lot. I again contact on 17.09.09 at Reliance World office at Parade, Kanpur and they told that my formalities have been forwarded to Civil Lines, Office at Kanpur for onward submission and their Mr. Atul again assured to get services resumed within 3 hours.After getting disappoined I today contacted at your Civil Lines, Kanpur office. At Civil Lines Office nobody has given any proper response, they all are saying that phone is suspended due to want of formalities.

With great regret I want to bring your knowledge that I have a very bad experience of having Reliance Mobile connection. For the last 10 days I am very fedup and nobody is taking any care to resume the services over my phone. I wwant to know when once I have submitted all the formalities while taking connection then why again you are requiring the formalities. Even after when I have submitted the required formalities why the services are not resumed?

After being tired from the behaviour of your office personnels at Kanpur I approach you with a hope that you will kindly look into the matter on priority and ask the persons responsible for the same to resume the services immediately without any delay. In Kanpur I am not the alone but number of other blonafied customers are suffering a lot as their services has been barred. Reliance Communication is a professionaly managed company and nobody hope to get such type of services. It will defame name and credit of the Group. I think that you will immediately take necessary steps to get my services resumed and take strict appropriate action against persons responsible for the same. As all time we agreed in the favour of company. I gave my total 5.5 years service to Reliance Communications Ltd.

I am writing this letter to pull your attention towards the broadband service department of your company. Reliance ( internet camp ) came to our society a month ago as door to door publicity and were asking us to take up their broadband services which according to them was very good n efficient. I already had internet at my place but since the sales executive was insisting on testing reliance i thought of giving it a try.. the sales person's name was MR. SUNIL ( [protected] ) and MR. MANOJ ( [protected] ) they convinced me that the internet speed and service is very good and if at all any problem then the customer care executive is just one call away and within 24hrs the problem would be solved.. since it is RELIANCE... so i took the line. My internet connection was given on 1ST OF AUGUST 2009 , with an extra phone line..How ever after that i started using the reliance internet , for the 1st 5 days the service was ok but after that my line got disconnected internet as well as the phone line... since then i am only making calls to the customer care for help which i suppose was just one call away but i made atleast 20 calls to them but all in vain... let me tell you that they are absolutely good for nothing , complete wastage of time and are getting paid for no work but only ..they did nothing to help me , did not even send any person for assistance to my place to check the matter inspite of my repeated requests. So finally i gave up and asked them to cut off the line for me . Even for the removal of the line no one has turned up till date.. your modem and phone is still waiting to be thrown out , and to top it all after 30 days a man from reliance comes up asking for the bill.. Your company did not have the time to send someone to fix my net and phone problem which was dead for 25 days but has time to send their man asking for the bill without any shame ... then i was given MR. R POWRE 'S NUMBER ( [protected] ) so i finally called him asked him to stop the reliance internet service ... then a man came and disconnected the wire but please it will be very kind if you can send someone to pick up your modem and phone which is complete waste for me because i am no more using reliance . Please its a request that you quickly take some serious action orelse your company's name and goodwill will no more be the same in the near future.. The chain is so big that the message gets distorted before reaching the higher officers so i had no other option but to write it down to you... Will be expecting your reply.. Thank you...

On behalf of my client Shri Laxmi Narayan [censored]al, s/o late Shri Murari Lal Sharma, r/o 12, Type-4, Sector-B, Piplani, Bhopal-462 021, I hereby serve upon you the following legal notice:

In the first week of October 2007, after shifting from Dehradun to Bhopal, my client got changed his Reliance FWP number at his Bhopal address-A 56, Siddharth Lake City, Anand Nagar, Raisen Road, Bhopal-462 021. He was given FWP number:[protected].

In the third week of April, 2008 he requested you to permanently disconnect his FWP connection number i.e.[protected] and he surrendered his FWP hand set. At that point of time he was assured that he would get his security amount back within 45 days time period.

In August, 2008, after four months, on failure on your part, he reminded your office for the delay in refund of his security amount. At that point of time your explanation was that since he had not got changed his address while transferring his FWP connection from Dehradun to Bhopal, so, Reliance office at Dehradun was handling this matter. While making this lame excuse, you forgot the fact that in October, 2007, after shifting from Dehradun to Bhopal, he had gotten his FWP number changed and at the same point of time he had gotten registered his changed address in your records, also. It was: A-56, Siddharth Lake City, Anand Nagar, Bhopal-462 021. Later, in December, 2008 he got changed his address in your records. It is: #12, Type-4, Sector-B, Behind Piplani Petrol Pump, Bhopal-462 021.
As he had already got registered his changed address in your records and had Reliance number of Bhopal only, how could Dehradun office of Reliance Communications handle this case?
My client continued with all his efforts to take refund of his security amount. He made several calls, sent many mails and then finally in the1st week of April’09, it was promised by your office that he would get his security amount back within 10 days.
This time also, nothing was done at your part. So, he sent you a last reminder on 12/07/2009 requesting you not to harass him by making this or that excuse.
I regret to mention here that all his requests to refrain from unfair trade practice and to make good the deficiency in your services fell on deaf ears.
Undoubtedly, you must appreciate his point of view that deliberated delay tactics of your office caused a lot of mental torture, harassment, and financial loss to him.
Please note, that he is a COSUMER under The Consumer Protection Act-1986. And, this is a clear case o[censored]NFAIR TRADE PRACTICE under section 2-c (iii) and DEFICIENCY IN SERVICES under section 2-g of the aforesaid act.
As the details of communication, given above, prove that he has reported the matter to you several times, but, despite all his pleadings, you have neither made good the deficiency in your services, nor stop your unfair trade practice, which is indeed regrettable and highly un-business like. On account of your aforesaid dereliction of duty and failure and neglect to rectify the same, he has suffered losses/incurred expenses of Rs. 50,000/= which you are liable to compensate to him.
You are hereby finally called upon to pay compensation for financial loss/mental harassment/interest due to your unfair trade practices, deficiency in services and negligence in the sum of Rs. 50,000/= with interest @15% per annum within 15 days of receipt of this notice failing to which, I shall be constrained to initiate against you for redress of his aforesaid grievances and recovery of the aforesaid amount. Such proceedings, both civil and criminal as are warranted by law, besides filing a complaint under the statutory provisions of The Consumer Protection Act-1986 exclusively at your own risk, cost, responsibility and consequences, which please note.

have been using Reliance mobile no [protected] since Aug 2005 & had no complaint regarding coverage. However since Aug 2009 i am facing severe coverage problems & cannot make or recieve calls whenever i am in Evershine Nagar malad west. i had made a complaint regarding the same on the third week of Aug & same was attended. since 3rd Sept 2009, i am facing the same problem in Evershine Nagar & had made a complaint regarding the same, complaint no being[protected]. i was given an assurance by the customer care executive that my problem shall be solved within 14 days time, but till date the problem persist & i would like to bring to your notice that i have lost business due to no coverage in my mobile. Even after repeated calls my complaint has fallen on deaf ears.

I would now like to request u since there is no coverage since the 3rd of Sept 2009, i may not be charged any rental for the said period till the time my problem is not solved. Also note that if the problem cannot be solved within the next 3 days, u are requested to disconnect my line permanently.

Please note that this lack of services has caused a severe loss of business to me & also caused severe mental trauma due to no connectivety.

This is to bring to your notice that i have taken the broadband netconnect service from Reliance and have been using it since 19th August 2009.
All of a sudden my internet stopped working since 18th Sept'09.
When i called the customer care i came to know that i have exceeded the internet data usage limit.
When i checked my usage report it showed me 12082172.31 Kbs that is almost 12 GB.I never used the internet of this much size.When i asked the customer care executive how much charges i will have to pay, i was told that i have been charged for Rs. 10000/-
I had 3 GB of day usage and 10 GB of night usage but i have not at all crossed these limits.
I think i have been simply charged for this huge amount.
Request you to look into this on priority and get my charges waived off.

I am Nirmesh Kumar, Asstt Engineer Power Grid Corp of India ltd , using reliance postpaid My unlimited Plan connections since June 2008. But suddenly they have charge calls for Rim CDMA to Reliance Smart n/w in my September 09 bill from 18 August09 onwards, without giving any intimation on changes in plan tariff. And i have launched the complaint in Reliance costumer care on 15 Sep,09 in this matter , but till date on action has been take from their side.My complaint No. is 10925103..And my bill payment due date is 1 Oct,09, after which late payment charges will be applicable. After launching complaint on 15 Sep,09 costumer care executive had told that resolution for the complaint will be given within 48 hrs, but now more than 80 hrs have been passed and on action has been taken. So kindly look into this matter.

I had charged my phone with life time validity special talk time vouchar of Rs 550 few months back.
As per this vouchar special talk time rates were applicable.
When my talk time was reducing rapidly i checked call rate and I found that Call rate were deducted at normal rate , not as per special tariff rate.I contacted company but their reply was my phone was recharged with other vouchar so STF expired.

This is nothing but cheating.
When company advertise that this tariff is for life time how can they withdraw ?
I have complained to company but their response is poor.
I have not received even message that my STF is withdrawn or anything .
Authorities should look into such type of cheatings by operators .

respected sir i am reliance customer my no is[protected] on 14sep in night about my 30 rupee ded from my balance with out reason when i call they tell me to call after 4 hours and on 15sep morning i call they say that yours complaint regestered and complaint no through sms came to you but complaint no not come so on15 th sep near about 6pm evening i make call to customer care *333 then the csa said tome in rough way" balance dekha hai kyon dekhega than after he abuse me of mother and give me challange that he would stop my no and on 16sep he do so.
now form three days i registered many complaints through nodal officer also his no is[protected] by my tata no[protected] you can check that sir how many calls i made ti this no andwhen i visit web world they give me in written that we cant do any thing on this you registered handset lost complaint and than yours no out going was stoped .sir tell me that how can iregistered handset lost complaint from the same no. when you hear the recording of 15sep evening about6pm all matter come in front of you .sir they also do this with my brothers no also the no is [protected] they cut automatic balance and the sim was not in use when we switch on mobile than the balance in negative when call to customer care they said that youcall after 10 days and yours balance will not given to you thats not fair sir we are average customers please help me

I have paid the all the bill amount including one month advance rental.

But still my connection not has been converted & when i called to customer care he says that i need to request again.

I therefore request you to please help me to get convert my Reliance no. [protected] from postpaid to prepaid.
