Hi,

In year 2010, I had a Reliance Broadband Connection for which I had submitted a disconnection request with their Customer Care due to their incorrect billing. Even after submitting a disconnection request Reliance still continued to bill me for next 2 months. After many complaints from my end a billing department employee had come to collect a final settlement cheque (with the correct amount) as a means to resolve this issue. I provided the cheque assuming this would stop further bills. Immediately after collecting this amount the company people had also taken away the Broadband instrument from my house and I thought the disconnection was complete.
But again after few months I kept receiveing calls from their billing department asking me to pay the bills in full. I got in touch with the Billing department employee to confirm if the final settlement paid by me was correct or not and he mentioned that its a mistake from their end and I need not do anything and that he will look into the matter.
Yesterday (Mar 3, 2012) again I received a Delhi High court lawyers call asking me to pay the outstanding bill to avoid any court cases against me. After this message from the lawyer I again called up the Reliance Billing department employee Mr. Mukesh Yadav (+91 [protected]) mentioning that he had collected the final settlement from me for which Mr. Mukesh tells me to ignore the phone call from the lawyer as they arent aware of the actual situation. Since the company has contract with such lawyers and they receive all outstanding bills for customers for which they are asked to follow up in general.
I do not know what action I should take in this case and since this issue was 2 yrs back I'm not very sure I have the Bills/final cheque # (that I paid) with me.

I am having the same problem with TATA Indicom. I had discontinued my number 2 yrs back and for which I have the final settlement receipt from the company. Let me know how to go about this problem?

    I recharged my reliance GSM number with a roaming pack of Rs 82/- on 22nd February 2012, after confirming the details from the official website of the company (url: http://www.rcom.co.in/Rcom/personal/prepaid/PlansandPacks.html). It was clearly mentioned their that after this recharge my roaming call rates would be 1 paise/sec for both incoming and outgoing. A snapshot of the website as on 3rd March 2012, with the details of the pack is attached with this complaint.

    But during my stay in roaming for over a weak, I was charged by 1.2 paise/sec. and when I complained on 26th Feb, my complaint was registered with #[protected]. After two days I was refunded Rs 1.30 with my calling rates still 1.2paise/sec. They said that the pack details have been changed and now its 1.2 paise/sec, I tried calling the customer care many times, which was a very bad experience, but of no use. Some said it is going to be 1 paise/sec as I am an old customer, and some times the guy on the phone said we cant help it, because you are being charged correctly.

    I ask if I was being charged correctly, why did they registered my complaint in the first place and then refunded me Rs 1.30. They changed the offer at the back end without any information to the consumers and any updates on the website which is actually a touch point for the customers to get all information. I think it is fraud to sell something with some specific details and then charging them more than what was promised at the time of purchase. I purchased this offer based on the information on the company's website and then I was charged more. Adding to that I had to suffer an extreme unprofessional behavior of the customer care of Reliance telecom. I hope this complaint is considered and I get my money back which I lost based on 1.2p/sec charge, which instead should have been 1p/sec.

I have register my complaint in reliance communication ( through customer care number ) for discontinue this number on 16th Jan 2012, but they have only stop services related to this number not stop this number. Sir, I am very poor person, they are sending me bill again & again. For last two months I have been submitting Rs. 842, Rs. 720 bill amounts without any usage. but they are not stopping my number so I request you to please solve this problem ASAP.

        Harassment on Mobile by abusing dirty words

        Dear Sir,

        There is person calling on my wife's phone from madhya predesh using Phone No: [protected] constantly (regularly) for last three days (2.2.2012) and speaking nonsense abusing all the level. If myself or any male members of the family attends the call he does not respond properly and abused but if any female member replies he starts to speak the nonsense on the phone. Even after warned him for lodging complaint to police, continue calling.

        If you can please consider my plea and help me to get the identification of this numbers, it will be a great help. Otherwise please do let me know a solution for the same at the earliest.

          Hi i have a reliance connection ...
          and i am unable to call from my home because of network problem in village-surajgarh, teh-rajpura, distt-patiala, punjab, india....
          their is no networks of reliance...
          airtel, idea are providing full network in this area... but reliance have no network please solve the problem ...
          we have so many reliance connections in our village but due to network problem we are unable to use .....

          solve the problem their is a tower of reliance near surajgarh is in Kheri Gurna which is not providing network in surajgarh,,,,

            In September 2010, after using my data card for a year, I had stopped the Reliance datacard internet services by calling their customer care number. I specifically asked the customer care lady to send me a written confirmation by mail that the services have stopped. She said there is no need for written confirmation, the connection has been discontinued. This request was put in about 5 days before the bill is generated. My services were stopped immediately. I tried accessing my data card and I was unable to do so.

            I paid the bill for the month of Aug-Sept 2010 before the due date. From my end, all my dues were clear. I kept getting calls from Reliance customer care executives until December that I have not paid my dues. Apparently, the connection had stopped but the bills kept generating for the next 3 months. I refused to make any payments and asked them to check their call records and related issues that I had put in for discontinuing the services. Until December, I kept receiving calls that my outstanding amount has gone upto Rs.2500 (almost Rs.800 rental per month which was my plan).

            In the complete year 2011, I did not receive any further calls. There were no reminders for any pending payments. In February 2012, just a week back, I get a notice by mail that a case has been lodged with Ref# 13250 on my Reliance number [protected] for not paying dues and for ignoring the calls. It mentioned that the user had to be present at the Borivali court on 4th March. This was lodged by Mr. Kahar Deenanath, CRO Mumbai Hub (Phone: [protected]). Since I was using this connection but it was registered on my Aunt's name, I did not want her to go to the court. So I spoke to Mr. Dinanath on phone. After telling him the whole issue, he finally agreed that I pay Rs.780 (one month bill) and the rest he will waive off and give NOC letter. To not cause any hassle for my aunt, I agreed to do so (the other option was to go to the court). He has now cleared my account and sent the account statement with Rs.0 pending dues.

            In short, here is what happens when you take Reliance NetConnect-

            1. You stop your connection
            2. Bills still keep generating for the next 3 months
            3. You are constantly harassed by phone calls to pay dues
            4. For almost 1.5 year, there is no call from any executive / senior executive to discuss the issue or giving the warning of a case being filed
            5. Suddenly you receive a letter that you have to be present until you pay your dues
            6. To avoid unnecessary hassle, you have to give Reliance free money for not using their services

            I SUGGEST THAT NO ONE SHOULD BUY RELIANCE NETCONNECT EVER. YOU MIGHT END UP GOING TO THE COURT AND FIGHTING FOR THE ISSUE FOR A LONG TIME.

                Respected sir,
                I, Santosh Chaudhary, am pursuing MBA from Lucknow. I am using here reliance gsm(smart) of Bihar for last seven months(since July) because they provide night calling pack of Rs.59 in which i got 300000 sec. free to call to any reliance no. local or std in night from 11pm to 6 pm. My last night calling pack service lasted on 9th February 2012. Then on 10th i recharged my reliance gsm no. [protected] with Rs. 59. Now the problem is that I am unable to use this service when ever i make a call in night after 11pm I am charged Rs.1.50 per/min. Regarding this problem I made so many complaint to reliance customer, care senior executive, nodal officer and also to appellate officer.
                Today I got a call from appellate officer of Bihar he told me because of roaming I am not able to use the facility of night calling pack. then I told him that I am using this service for last 7 months. But they did not give me positive response.
                Therefore I request you help me get judgement.

                  Hi,

                  I have purchased reliance netconnect + service (MDN Number: [protected]) on 16th Feb 2012. Till today my average speed for downloading files is 40 KBPS. This is not the speed expected from a broadband device. While purchasing it says it will give speed up to 3.1 MBPS but I am not even getting 1 MBPS speed till today. I have tried mailing customer care, calling customer care as well as live chat option on website, but no satisfactory response. When I called customer care it request me to put my number but after I entered my number it says this is invalid number so I am not getting connected. Then I tried live chat on website, after few minutes the person was not responding to my questions and then he disconnected the conversation. For your reference I am attaching the screen shots for same.

                  I request reliance to provide me the right speed to which I can call broadband service or else do not expect that I will pay the bill of broadband connection for a dial up kind of service.

                  Reliance Net Connect — NO SPEED

                  DEAR
                  I AM USING RELIANCE NET CONNECT POSTPAID FROM LAST FOUR YEARS AT THE TIME OF STARTING THIS WAS GOOD BUT AFTER LAUNCHING HSD BROADBAND THIS NET CONNECT IS FULLY USELESS AND ITS TO EXPENSIVE. NO ACTION TAKEN AGAINST CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS.ONLY BILL GENERATING PROCEDURE IS WORKING PROPERLY.

                  I am facing the same problem since the day I have bought the connection. I called customer care so many times to lodge the complaint but each time recieved the same response that we are working on this and speed will get better in 2-3 days.

                    I am postpaid user of reliance mobile service mob no.[protected] for more than three years. my office situated at 68-A 2nd floor noorani market Khureji khas Delhi-51, At the same adress and on the same floor ,there are so many person residing and some are working their job in personal offices. this building is residential and commercial both. since 16 feburary my out going services of my moblile no.[protected] has been debarr by the company without any notice and any communication. when I contact customer care centre of the said company ,they told me that some one Ashfaq mob no.not known at the same address have pending bills,and till than the person Ashfaq clear all the pending ,your services will be disrupt. When I asked whether any dues is pending against me , they said ,No, than why my out going is barred ,there is no specific reply from the company side. this is dismay to us that ' KISI KA JOOTA KISI KE SER' . My job is related with media and I am suffering much loss for not using my mobile.Where is my default and why should I punish for that person which I do not know ,neither he is related to me in any manner.

                      I undersigned HIREN DAVE sadly informing you that I got RELIANCE broadband connections on[protected] .On the first day Telephone instrument was not working properly. After 15 days modem was dead .I called on toll free customer care services number .Without attending problem by any service person , on repeatedly on telephonic talk , I got answers that complaint had been attended !!!!! At last on[protected] a person from your company took Telephone instrument ,modem etc( I took official receipt of it ) which is not on their record . Because of that I got bill up to march 2011 . Besides this as per recent email correspondnce none of complaint had been recorded And by telephonic talkon 14th FEB 2012 I got threatening by a lawyer from RELIANCE that if I do not pay amount it will be court matter .So I paid all the pending dues even thaugh I had not received any service. After clearing all dues still after one year again a new bill received by RELIANCE COMMUNICATION.


                      I am really harassed by RELIANCE COMMUNICATIONs BROADBAND SERVICES due to their UNRELIABLE MISCOMMUNICATIONS .

                      I fully endorse this view. RCOM needs to be renamed as RCON as they seem to be only in business to con people. I too received a similar call to day firstly from someone claiming to be from Patiala House Courts staff. He told me that there is arrest warrant and attachment order being sent to the police and asked me to speak on a telephone No he provided in case I want these proceedings to be stopped. When I called this No the person at the other end claiming to be a lawyer for RCON asked me to deposit a bill of 1400 odd rupees plus legal costs of Rs 5500/- at a RCON outlet within half an hour and he will have the proceedings against me stopped. When I told him I could not reach a rcon outlet in 30 minutes he threatened me with dire consequences. Immediately after this call was terminated I received a call from the first caller who in a most said they will make me suffer in court if I did not settle the matter in manner they had suggested. I was conned by these people in 2002 when I purchased their Dhirubhai Ambani Monsoon plan which I had to surrender in less than a year after paying a hefty sum to them. And now this. I am prepared to share this story with any newspaper, periodical, TV channel so that such tactics of one of the biggest business houses can be exposed and general public made aware. I have the names of the callers ( which may not be correct) and the telephone Numbers which could be traced with little effort - they are using Tata indicom and Vodaphone respectively to promote the business of RCON. every product of needs to be shunned.

                        The signal goes and comes. Most of time it pendulums between 0-2 signal.
                        Reliance on complaining say that there is network problem and technitions are looking into improving signal.
                        Regarding speed they have reduced it since last 2 months. Providing max speed of 144 kbps which also is not achievable. DO YOU CALL 144 kbps BROADBAND ??

                        Hi,

                        I have been using Reliance for past 8 months till now and i have already logged 2 compliants with Reliance customer care but till the issue with signals nor the issue with speed has been addressed by them and whenever I make the call to them they just say that "Technical team are working and they will resolve it soon but no tentative date" I am hearing the same for last 6 months atleast till now.

                        Reliance Net Connect is really horriable in Bangalore -- Jeevan Bhima Nagar

                          I have been using reliance for last four to five years. Earlier I was using internet on my phone without any problem, Recently I changed my phone to a higher end CDMA multimedia phone(simless) and wished to use internet on it. When contacted customer care I was told that there is a 199/299 Rs Unlimited plan available, with a charge of 5 paise per 10 Kbs, I repeatedly asked about the total cost o[censored]sing internet on my phone, but customer care failed to satisfy me, So I contacted nearest Reliance Web World at JB nagar, There I was told that the 199 Rs plan gives only 200MB worth of data usage with a network charge of Rs 5 paise per 10 KBs, calculating the total cost comes to 1700 Rs(1500 for network usage +199 plan charges) which is exorbitant. At the same time there is a data plan available for GSM subscriber wherein 2GB worth of data usage is given for a price of Rs 98 only(no network or any other charges).

                          I have contacted their mumbai nodal officer and customer care over email and still am awaiting a response.

                          (Ex. DoCoMo CDMA PostPaid Plan (Jumbo Monthly Pack) they Provied the 94rs with 5 GB data for 30 Days Validity.
                          (Monthly Pack) they Provied the 43rs with 2 GB data for 30 Days Validity.

                              I activated 1Paise SMS offer. My due date was[protected], I recharged with 26 on[protected] for continue the sms pack.
                              But unfortunately on[protected] automatically cut 13 rupees from my main balance and send one message "your 1p sms pack renewed for 13 days." What a damn is that? Then I deactivated my sms pack and call to the customer care. One guy told me that Your ------ database doesn't have my 26 recharged information. and they get back my 13 rupees what they taken from my account.

                              I want to know where is my 26 rupees and I want the benefit according the same rupees by activate my sms pack or get back my money as my credit.

                                I have used the reliance broad band connection long back... and i requested them so many times to close it, they didn't close my connection for 2months.. and they used send bills... now after long time i got call from legal department saying that i need to pay my dues otherwise my case will going to court and he said after that i need to pay150 lacks in the court... please help me out from this problem
                                Absolutely agree!! I am facing the same problem... I have complained to no avail. There has been network related issues in my area and when I complain they said they are upgrading their towers and very soon will work... Then, when I asked to change from post paid to pre-paid, they say it is not possible... and then to top it all I get bills after my connection has been disconnected and when I question them by saying I am unable to use the usb modem due to network not available... they reply by saying that the usage is high... Now, they call from legal department and say to clear Rs. 1000/- due or appear in court on so and so date... Can something be done about this?

                                  I have purchased the data card broadband facility from Reliance Net connect+ on Jan 20th 2012. As the offer says I have paid the bill(Rs.2523) of 3 months in advance to get data card free of cost, which means I need not pay till the bill till April 21st as said by the vendor, Mr. Ashok [protected].
                                  But I have received a bill charging Rs.1283 on Feb 5th 2012. When asked , Ashok said I need not pay the bill for 3 months and just avoid the bill till April 21 2012. On Feb 25 2012 my service was terminated. I spoke to Ashok's manager Mr.Murali [protected], who said sorry and promised that he would revoke the service in 24 Hrs on 25th of Feb 2012. But there is no response from the Reliance team till date and nobody responds my query. Please help me to rise this issue and to be solved earliest.

                                  Reliance Netconnect — Disconnection & Billing

                                  I had called reagrding cancelling my Reliance mobile internet connection in the month of March and i was told the same will be done. after which i received a bill in the month of May stating payments for April. they told me the cancellation takes abt 45days!!! I was billed on pro rated basis so i just payed the bill and confirmed my cancellation. I made the bill payments and thought the matter was done. However now in the month of July they suddenly have sent me a bill period 23 June to 9 of July asking me to pay my dues for the above mentioned dates. When i called the center they state they have no previous history of my request for cancellation. They promised to get back to me regarding the same and havent done so far. I sure am not going to pay the bill, but this harassment has to stop.
                                  HOW DO FIND A TELEPHONE NUMBER FOR COMPLAINT, AS MY NETCONNECT IS NOT RESPONDING

                                    Dear All,

                                    As i am using Reliance Postpaid connection for last 3 years since October 2009 every times they created problem to me for submission of documents and every times they deactivate the outgoing services and for the same i facing lots of problem for the same, as I in job of IT marketing and facing problem which create me problem in my job also if i lost any precious client it may be I lost my job also and every time Reliance Communication create problem for documents and i submitted the document every time and there executive visited and collected every documents from my residence and verified the address also but every time same thing happen . As per bill every bill up to the mark no bill pend ency. And this number is in the name of my father and we are all residing in the same address And I receive the message from Reliance for submission of document for last 2 to 3 days back and immediately called their customer care for the same they checked the detail and confirm me your documents were completed just ignore the message, but on 24 or 25 Feb 2012 again receive the same message as per previous communication I ignore the message and today 26th Feb 2012 they deactivated my outgoing call which make problem. So need immediate action against Reliance Communication for the same because every time created the same problem and they are not good in their services also.

                                    Waiting for your prompt response in next 3 days.

                                      its bit a problem for me to afford reliance gsm
                                      this company is giving me too much problems

                                      i am a below poverty line citizen of india , i wanted a network whos call rates must be low in compairision of other networks and network coverage must be excellent
                                      i was asked to choose reliance gms with wide coverage and compairtively low rates

                                      but now

                                      i have been looted by the company

                                      its ok call rates and network are up to the mark
                                      but
                                      now

                                      day by day the service of reliance gsm is slopping down
                                      in my no.
                                      some chargable services are activated
                                      that i didnt wanted
                                      and these services are activated without any prior notice and without my permission

                                      right now my affording ablity and my patience are giving up
                                      day by day my balance is been choped and choped

                                      and i am feeling helpless

                                        I, Yogesh Saxena consumer of Reliance Smart no [protected].
                                        I had recharge with Rs. 100/- 12/01/2012.
                                        The amount is approx Rs 87 in main balance and rest in promo balance.
                                        I had complete use of promo balance before 12/02/2012.
                                        I make call on 15/02/2012 but call interrupt because balance reached Rs 0.00 level.
                                        I used Rs.2.50 only in one month.
                                        I concerned with customer care but customer care only speaking advertising.
                                        No contact customer executive.
                                        I try another number then customer care executive say if your mobile having Rs.0 you could not make contact customer care executive. Then I recharge with Rs. 10. and get approx Rs.6 in main Balance.
                                        Then customer care executive say send SMS MYVAS.
                                        And find No MYVAS are activate.
                                        Customer care executive I will return your amount and deactivate service.(complain no[protected]
                                        There I have not activate any service.
                                        I get Rs. 50 instead of Rs 87.

                                        On 22/02/2012 cut Rs 40 also in my main balance.
                                        Then customer care executive same behave.
                                        Customer care executive I will return your amount and deactivate service.(complain no[protected]
                                        I get Rs. 30 instead of Rs 40.

                                        On 24/02/2012 cut Rs 15 also in my main balance.
                                        Then customer care executive same behave.
                                        Customer care executive I will return your amount and deactivate service.(complain no[protected]
                                        I get Rs. 5 instead of Rs 15.

                                        On 25/02/2012 cut Rs 10 also in my main balance.
                                        I have no communicate Customer care executive.

                                        I have decide I will no recharge in this SIM and no use this in future.
